Food is alright its filling and service is fast the workers are nice people too

I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. I got a slice of sausage and it was very good. On the thinner side, sauce had good flavor.

The best - Everything! I rode my bike 8 miles in each direction to eat lunch there today - Had the “messy salad” - so worth it!!!!

You will not find better pizza anywhere other than Red Star!

We have been patrons of this location for about 4 years. Pizza is good. Just purchased a cheese steak for wife and veal parmesan sandwich for myself. Steak sandwich was good, but the veal seemed to be old tasting and roll baked dry. Could taste the old veal all night and frequent runs to the facilities! Take care in your ordering, go for the active menu items, cheesesteaks, pizza, etc! Wow! Purchased a pizza 7/23/2024, SALTY! Cheese steak hoagie today 7/26/2024, so SALTY I couldn't finish the sandwich. Don't know what's going on there, they used to be the best. Time to move on!

Best pizza in the area hands down everything’s good, I tried the old fashioned tomato pie and it’s damn good plus the calzone is worth mentioning, COME HUNGRY!!! Lol

5++++++ STARS !! The Best Around!! Beware they have the 'Chic-Fil-A" Effect because you always want Red Star on Mondays when they are closed but that makes tuesday lunches that much better! Great Ingrediants, Great Employees, Great Pizza, Great Salads, GREAT EVERYYTHING!!

Best deep dish pan pizza around. I travel 30 minutes each way to pick one up. The best!

It’s not the dirtiest place, but surely not the cleanest. Greasiest pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life, way too much sauce, it’s like a pool of grease sitting on dough. Most of the later shift staff behind the counter are unfriendly and are always looking at you like you’ve got eyes on your forehead. I will NOT be giving them my money again.

Lady at front desk is ridiculous nobody is trying to hit on you sweetheart just trying to get food and get out

So, the pizza is the best you'll get in Tabernacle/Red Lion area. Burgers are top notch as well, and MUST GET THE FRIES!!!! The service! My god, the service! The best, and the friendliest ladies behind the counter. All around top notch!

I would really like to give 4.5 stars. We stopped in for a slice of pizza. So many options! My husband got a 3.95 gourmet slice overflowing with chunks of chicken, roasted red pepper, onion, mozzarella and a balsamic glaze. It was so generous that the thin, crispy crust could not hold it all. I got a 3.15 slice of tomato pie with fresh mozzarella, some dabs of a sweet tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, oregano, oil and basil. This slice could have used more topping—especially tomato. We also got a .50 garlic stick with tomato dipping sauce. While eating in, I could see pizza crusts being tossed in the kitchen. The menu says all pizzas are fresh and made to order. There is an extensive menu from appetizers to lunch items (and specials) to chicken, veal, seafood and pasta dinners. We will be back to try more of the menu! I can see why this place has been around since 1988 with freshly prepared food, generous portions and reasonable prices.

One of the only places that have maintained their high quality. While others have switched to cheaper ingredients and smaller portions...Red Star has stayed the course.

Pizza was great. The place was very busy and wait time for pick up Friday night at 5 was 45 mins. Staff were friendly and efficient. This place runs like a week in oiled machine. We enjoyed the garlic bread which has approx 8 slices. Large mushroom pizza was good. Plenty of red sauce ( too much for my daughter) but my husband and I thought it was enough. Good size pizza and plenty for left overs. First visit here for pick up. I was impressed. No gluten free pizza offerings though a little disappointed ☹️

Omg the large cheese steak is as long as my arm! And the French fries are as my son calls them, flaky fries, which are so hard to find. So great full of finding this place, been looking for a favorite restaurant for at least 1yr n half.

Red Star has always been a good place to sit down and enjoy a slice or two, but the quality of the food has been declining over the years.

NOBODY BEATS REDSTAR/KATE AND ALS! BEST PIZZAS IN NEW JERSEY!

I live an hour and a half away from here. I was just traveling through town. I tried the garlic bread for a night snack. It was excellent! Freshly chopped garlic, freshly chopped herb. Very satisfying.

My husband and I always order takeout. So far we have ordered their Sicilian pizza and 20 inch cheesesteaks. Their food tastes amazing and you can't beat their prices! Their cheesesteaks are never soggy. The cheese is melted perfectly into the meat, which you get plenty of.

The pizza was 5 Star even according to my lil grandchild but they reallly need to hire more waitresses or get the 1 they have help from alllll the people behind the counter. It was packed, people waiting to sit and no one helped. It was a very busy night for them. Need mgt to assist.

You can't go wrong here. Tortellini Di Parma, side salad and garlic bread. Absolutely delicious. Service was spot on, Brittany was a delight. Vito, the owner, running the kitchen, making pies, charismatic, response to his staff. Nice family pizzeria. Talk about keeping local and supporting good establishments, you must try this place. Definitely recommend!!

I was a little disappointed with one of the workers . Today my sister and I went in to order and the worker ( a girl who black hair) asked a white customer if she could take her order. The white customer said that she was already waited. My sister and I was standing right next to the white customer and the worker looked at us and never acknowledged us at all. We stood there until a other worker came and asked us if he could help us. So on that note I am just going to say WOW @ racism is real.

My husband likes the pizza at lunch when in the area so we stopped for an early dinner after hiking. There were only 2 other tables full when we got there & a new waitress. After we ordered, 5 other tables filled up & we never saw her again. Thank goodness the other waitress helped bc we'd have never gotten our pitcher we asked 3x for when she only brought a cup & got flustered how to solve the issue. Pizza & cheesesteak were ok but the sausage in the sausage parm was so charred on both sides it had a burnt taste. Adjacent to us was a sick family with their little son loudly coughing in the air every few minutes & walking around everyone's food. This can be my hubby's occasional lunch place, I don't need to go back.

Nice slices left an hour before closing. Good spot for a quick bite to eat. Clean facility and a nice crew.

Red Star Pizza, Red Lion Circle I decided to stop in here based on a tip John Franciotti FB gave me in about Red Lion Circle Red Star Pizza. I talked to the gal at the counter, and she said they're not affiliated with the New Egypt store, they get that question all the time, but I'll tell you what their Pizza is delicious here ...check it out!! Really great sauce, taste , good cheese no flop. They might not be affiliated with the other one but they're just as good. I love finding new pizza places thank you

Very nice people very clean wonderful choice of pizza however Italian hoagie not good. No meat They need to put a lot more lunch meat one slice just isn’t enough. Tasteless

Decent food and very friendly staff.

When its good its good... When its not its not. Hit or miss. Don't know if it's different chefs preparing the food but the Eggplant parm was horrible and the chicken Caesar salad is always delicious.

Tried the Sicilian and regular slices, plain. Helpful and friendly staff. Regular slice had chewy dough. Better than average taste. 6/10 Worth another visit. Sicilian was more tasty. Just a better dough. 7/10 both slices had a very good taste. Sauce wasn't sour and had a pleasant, lingering cheesy taste. Maybe next time, I'll get meatballs; my test to see if I would want to order more, another time. Give this place a try.
