Food was absolutely delicious without a doubt. The customer service was mediocre but still good. The parking lot needs a little work, but it's worth it regardless. Great food trust me

This use to be my favorite spot as of late I got ox tail plate and before I can enjoy my second bite a long piece of hair was on my fork when I tell you I was pissed and after paying all that money I was very disappointed. Never had a complaint before I would hate to get another plate and hair be in it so gross

I was greeted wirh nothing but smiles I ordered the curry goat and a goat meat soup and it was absolutely excellent. The portions were huge for the price and home-cooked meal like your momma makes. This just turned on my favorite spot for food hands down

Listen the oxtail is good and I love the cabbage and just the whole entire plate be good. Fun loving atmosphere. They joke around and have fun but service is great.

My first visit, they ran out of jerk chicken. I ordered the curry chicken. The flavor of the chicken was good. I was disappointed that it was mostly pieces of bone and very little chicken. I couldn’t eat the cabbage or the white rice. Neither tasted good. I ended up going to McDonald’s because I was still hungry. I will say the staff was very friendly.

Authentic delicious food. Great selection. Atmosphere takes you to Jamaica. Will be back.

Ever since I’ve been to the south side of Florida, I’ve been missing that authentic soul food that I desire. Found this place on google and decided to give it a try. This restaurant is AUTHENTIC. The atmosphere, the workers, the FOOD. Just wow! Everyone was super nice. The curry reminded me of my moms cooking. We got a large bowl. I don’t even chew rice, I swallow it. My wife and I both shared one plate. I couldn’t finish it. Completely stuffed and full. I ended up eating the rest the next morning. The portions were beyond generous. I don’t care what anyone says about this place. I WILL GO BACK. Thank you for reminding me of my home in Ghana.

***Hidden Gem*** 1st the food: Flavorful, Delicious Oxtails, a nice natural sweetness to the cabbage with the tiniest hint of spice, perfect rice and peas, and im so mad i forget to order coco bread and a patty. Customer Service was SHOCKINGLY POLITE! ACTUALLY THESE LADIES ARE SWEETHEARTS, and it was Service with a smile. They do have tables and chairs if you'd like to dine in, the have a drink cooler for individual drinks, no fountain drinks (which is standard), They offer additional sauces at the check out counter that are AMAZING!!! Park in the rear, enter in front 1st door on your right. ***DISCLAIMER.. MY PHOTOS ARE EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED FOR (no gravy on my rice). Also, this is a large plate and just to let you know I ate a whole meal off the plate and thus us the left overs 💙🩵

Their curry is so good it has a little spice but that's what makes it good to me. My daughter loved their macaroni and cheese. Please visit.

My first time going in Jamaican jerkand I don't been to plenty restaurants of Jamaican in Lakeland and I'm not from Lakeland but they are the best I will be definitely going again cuz I love me soul food. And great tasting food that is a plus they food is delicious I don't have time to cook all the time. I'm a single mother working all the time I grew up off of soul food and I can't just eat anything I really enjoyed the food and they put a lot date is not stingy with their food lol you get a lot of places like that because everything so high now in days but if you have faith in God and trust and follow him all the way he will make all your dreams come true trust and believe it don't matter the recession or the economy going up thank you....😃😃😃😃😃

I found this place recently and it’s my new go to spot now! The food BADDDDDD(means good :)) Just tried the goat soup today and the jerk chicken yesterday. Definitely the best Jamaican food spot in Lakeland

Ordered the oxtail and paid $22.00. It was more like cheap chuck steak used to make beef stew and cooked too long and was poor quality and very tough for oxtail. They told me they could not afford to buy quality Oxtail at Publix because it cost them too much money. But they did not mind charging me $22.00 which is not cheap! The cabbage and the rice with black beans were too spicy for me. Wish I could have said better but I had to be honest.

Don't let the looks of the building scare you away. The food is awesome, the prices and portions reasonable. The staff friendly. I've never been disappointed with anything I've eaten from there.

The curry goat or chicken is always good. Their food is a tasty but they recently started to charge for the extra gravy and meat- never did I ever get charged before and most west Indian restaurants don't charge especially if you been buying multiple times from them. When all the while before they never did, not sure if it was because of a different person at the register or what. They also need to answer the phone with manners, they don't even say the restaurants name, I thought I called someone cell phone and not restaurant.
