I didnt eat or drink there. I did buy some really great coffee sold by a very knowledgeable and gracious lady.

Party of 8 of us went in on Sunday of memorial day weekend for coffee to-go and were immediately made to feel unwelcome. The first thing the woman working/I assumed owner said to us was "I'm only here because people your age don't want to work on holidays." It wasn't even Memorial Day mind you, it was the day before. Then she begrudgingly started taking and making our orders, loudly mentioning everytime she was running out of materials: ice, coffee, and cups. "Oh im gonna have to make more now" "oh I'm going to have to go upstairs to get more ice." And? Isn't that why we're both here? She literally said "I miss the days when no one knew about us, now you people keep coming from everywhere." Oh, did I mention there were only 2 other people in the shop at the time? It was completely empty. The cold brew is mediocre, the chai is "the worst" my friend has ever had, it was one of the most awkward, rude service experiences I've had in my life. We were really excited to come here and have a good time, even chat with the employees, but she guaranteed that that was impossible for us. She seemed extremely entitled, and indignant to even be there, so why not just close the place? Also, the prominently-displayed black cat stuffed animal with a little sign that says #blackcatsmatter is just tacky and gross.

Food and atmosphere were fine, but it was was difficult to enjoy after being treated very rudely by the owner upon arriving simply because I was unaware the group I was with had already asked for an additional chair.

Such a fantastic place! Absolutely beautiful on the inside and incredibly clean. The food was spectacular, and the coffee heavenly. We love the farm-to-table emphasis, and of course the cat theme! Cannot recommend enough.

Drove a half hour out of our way for breakfast only to find they were closed although their website said they were open

This is a gem. Coffee is incredible. The atmosphere is relaxing both inside seating and outside seating. The eggs on Portuguese rolls are one of the greatest meals I’ve ever eaten. I got the Cape Cod. It involved crab meat and it made my day. They also recommended a winery (living root winery) and it was one of the best on our trip to the Finger Lakes. Stop by for a leisurely breakfast and some coffee. You will not regret it.

This place is an annual pilgrimage for salt. Everything has been amazing.

I have ordered moka pot gaskets on a number of occasions from Java Gourmet Coffee. There service is excellent. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for my coffee making equipment.

The coffee was fantastic! We got the chai latte, coffee of the day, and an ice latte. Service was quick and the owner was very kind. We enjoyed sitting on the deck!

Loved their use of ingredients (all locally sourced) in their food, and coffee was great too! Quiet environment around Lake Seneca and great service too, highly recommend anyone to stop by for a meal/coffee.

Java Gourmet is one of our essential stops every time we go visit the Finger Lakes. From tasty sweets in the form of Chocolate Bark, to brine kits for cooking and certainly the various coffees. (If you stop in try the Nitro) Thankfully for our coffee needs shipping is an option and everything arrives carefully packaged, and quick.

Decided to eat here while visiting the area. So glad I did! The coffee and food were excellent. It's such a cute place with a relaxed vibe. Would definitely visit if I'm in the area again.

Awesome brunch stop! Food was terrific, local and seasoned perfectly. The Thomas was truly a Portuguese delight, and the Cherry almond bread was to die for! Add the unforgettable coffees and our day was almost complete, but not until we purchased several coffees and seasoning from the store. If you are in the Keuka Lake area you should make this one of your MUST go-to spots!

Very quaint, and homey. Wonderful view. Susan was very knowledgeable about coffee, about the different cooking processes, and about the different flavoring processes.

Highly recommend this place if you are touring around the Finger Lakes! The coffee is DELICIOUS! And the gift shop area has lots of options to choose from!!

Great atmosphere and service. The selection for lunch food was a little limited but all of the food we had was fantastic. Would highly recommend and plan to go again.

Black Cat Bistro is a regular stop for us while visiting Keuka Lake. Owners are behind the counter & they have a great rotating menu. Always interested to see what is being served. In addition to meals, they serve dessert, local wine, craft beer & coffee. There is also an attached shop for coffee beans, honey, cooking ingredients, etc. Highly recommend a visit.

A nice place to stop and grab a cup of coffee some food or to get something to brew at home. The interior of the shop is well decerated and comfortable, the coffee is excellent, the menu is pretty good. The shop has nice local products, many coffee and tea choices. A nice place to stop.

Beautiful place, i could b here for hours! Wine and drinks are perfect, and food is delicious. Im here for my friend's rehearsal dinner. Definitely would come again and higjly recommend to come here!

Great spot for excellent local coffee and other local gifts. Owner very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice view of Lake to sit inside or out on the deck.
