Excellent food. Consistently good service sometimes rising to excellent. Little pricer than most American fare restaurants in the area but definitively worth it.

I came along with a party of 8 and the service was amazing. My dad ordered a dish and did not like the flavor of his chicken. He let manager Ryan know and he immediately brought a menu to my dad so he could order another dish. He said he wanted my dad to leave full and not hungry! Our waitress was Kierra and she was sweet as well! Great service and food - I had the Grilled Salmon (cajun) and it was delicious

Fantastic food! As my colleague who joined me said, "Everything on the menu looks amazing, especially the desserts" The servers also work together so if you need anything, just ask anyone coming by your table.

BE WARNED, STAY AWAY!!! This place has gone down hill. Service was great. Went to JB's 8/17/24. One individual from our party got 1/2 rack of ribs and sides. The ribs came out ice cold and undercooked. After tasting it, he was unable to eat anything else because the undercooked taste made him sick to his stomach. Told server and these were taken off the bill, but ruined our night out. 12 hours later now, 2 other members of our party are now sick and vomiting. Tested for COVID since i know that'll be a question on everyone's minds. Tests came back negative. All signs point to poorly prepared food at this location. Spent $180 on a horrible experience. We will never be going back and warn others to take their money elsewhere as well.

This place has great food. The twisted burger was cooked to perfection. Staff was always available for anything and seemed eager to please the customers

The restaurant is cozy, with a friendly atmosphere. In each visit the waitress had been super friendly and you could tell her passion for providing top level service!

Usually takes forever to get seated here but I was lucky enough that I had reservations. Although the wait staff seemed upset that my reservations were for two and my dining partner backed out at the last minute because of a work obligation. The filet I got was the smallest filet I've ever seen. The side dishes were okay The service was weird because there were three different people that came to the table and apparently that's the way they do it there.

Dinner was fantastic and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

First time at JB Dawson. Loved the place! Service was excellent. Food excellent. Love the 🦞 bisque. Chunks of lobster in the cup was amazing. Everyone's dinner was delicious and hot. We will return!

This is in Bucks county .My son brought me and my girlfriend here. They had finaminal service. Delicious steak and other options.

Happy Hour- I was told the twisted shrimp was good. Ahh the black seeds onto I didn't like and the grass cut lettuce either. I'd a 4 out of 10.

Everything was delicious from start to finish. I had a lobster bisque, the crab dip with tortilla chips, then my meal...crab alfredo ...omg so gooey,cheesy... Did I mention the bread that has Brown sugar butter?

There is a reason why this place is always as busy as it is. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food at reasonable prices with a diverse enough menu for just about anyone to find something they like.

It's not the best place for kids, but that's more my fault than the restaurants. My kids had trouble finding something they'd like. Food was "meh" for the whole family, except their skinny shoestring fries - they're really good! We had salmon, chicken, and grilled cheese. Pricey, especially considering the food was average at best. The servers were great, with no issues at all.

Really nice family steak house. The server was attentive. The food was severed promptly. Beer selection is a little sparce and could be expanded. Overall, it is a very good value

The best ribs around! Fall off the bone. We love kids eat free Sundays. Recommend call ahead seating.

Went there from my grandmother's birthday. The staff was great with the many requests we had (grandmoms picky). The food was great too! I got a pulled pork with fries and my boyfriend got prime rib sandwich which both were really good. The layout is very open and accessible.

First time back post-covid. Short wait for a table, we had drinks at the bar. Friendly staff, quick service, delicious food and quiet ambiance. I had 6oz. Filet w mushrooms and onions, coleslaw & the best cinnamon apples in forever. She had Shrimp & scallops with coleslaw & broccoli. Both meals were extraordinarily good. We'll encourage you to visit if you enjoy good food, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

One of my favorite places to eat. I have been to JB Dawson's over twenty times and never had a bad experience. I normally get the cheese steak egg rolls, twisted shrimp and the crab alfredo. Everything taste exceptional well with a great wait staff. We love JB Dawson's‼️

Absolutely amazing place! Great atmosphere, clean, up scale, friendly and helpful staff! The food is delicious! I’ve ordered filet mignon - delicious. Highly recommend this place whether you’re visiting with family, friends or lunch with co-workers.

Very disappointed in the management. Have been a customer for over 20 years. My experience this Father’s Day will make it my last. The minor details of having to wait for a table for 3 even though I had a reservation, having to wait an extended period of time for a server to arrive at the table is understandable on a holiday. What is not understandable is the attitude of the manager on duty at 100 on 6/17/24. It was brought to his attention how warm the temperature was in the restaurant. Instead of attempting to correct the situation or in the very least making an attempt to acknowledge the situation, he choose to spend 10 minutes explaining how air conditioning works and basically doing nothing to improve the problem. While no one was expecting him to be an air conditioning engineer it was unnecessary for him to agitate the situation worse. Dampened the whole dining experience. Our waitress was delightful and food was over seasoned but palatable. I’m disappointed to see the change in attitude and environment at a place I always enjoyed.

Had just finished a long drive coming home from NC and decided to grab some dinner. Was surprised there was a 30 minute wait on a Wednesday, but hung in there. As usual, worth the wait. We both had the crab cake sandwich and they were good size and had a healthy proportion of crab meat. The service was also quick and friendly...very efficient.

First time there, we had a gift certificate had a reservation walked in seated right away, are server Kyle was great!!, food was delicious, I loved there shoe string fries crispy! Good music playing, always a plus, we'll definitely be back!!

Not sure what's happening lately but the last 4 take out orders we've placed is missing something. At some point it gets tiresome to call and sit on hold and go through the song and dance so I've given up. This has been our go to spot for years, the food is mostly consistently good with occasional off nights but driving 15 mins there and 15 mins back home to find a part of your order missing while prices are not cheap is not pleasant.

Was a bit of a wait to be seated and order but it was well worth the wait!!!!! Had a couple of beers before dinner and the service was beyond expectations, the food came and the service never stopped, great place to dine, will definitely return!!!

Food was pretty good. The lobster bisque was amazing and my berry old fashioned was awesome. Our server, Rachel was super kind, quick and professional.

Went for drinks and apps and everything was good. Bartender was on point. Spinach and artichoke dip was yummy.

Asta with chicken. Chicken was rubber. Very slow service. Not worth the cost.

Food and wait staff was great as usual. However, the manager on shift tonight was absolutely unprofessional and has me thinking twice about going back with my large family. To keep it short, our waiter asked the manager who was doing absolutely nothing, to serve me my drink and when she did so, I said thank you and she smirked and rolled her eyes!

There steaks were great, put longhorn to shame. We will drive further to get there but its worth it. Our new steak house.

We enjoy coming here. This time the temp was chilly; the Curry Coconut milk bowl was Extremely salty, its veggies were great, the chicken left Over

Nice clean friendly place for lunch

We 8 of us come monthly for6 months to celebrate birthdays. Everybody loves the food. We gobble up the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I particularly enjoy their superb potato soup but am sad it’s only a2/3 bowl. They make a great manhattan, especially if you ask for makers mark. Two people got the trout special and raved about it. I’ve become a super fan of the apple walnut salad. I eat 1/2 and have a great rerun the next day. There is plenty of parking and the staff is very helpful. Nancy is our favorite server but all are proficient. She knows our likes and exceeds expectations. My Son-in-law devours the baked potatoes. My GK’s love the sparklers in the birthday ice cream, which we get because we all signed up online. Always very enjoyable, highly recommended. Get a reservation for large groups.Place is always crowded but not noisy like so many other places. If interested bathrooms are spotless and no smell!

Steak was of poorer quality and cooked to medium well versus medium rare. I sat at the bar…not very busy but No asked me how the food was. I wasn’t going to wait for another steak to be cooked. Bartenders discussed going home versus providing good service.

Best food in PA/NJ. Everything is prepared well, staff is friendly and attentive, and the portions are large enough for two-three meals so it is a great value for your money. The food is consistently good too. Been here many times and it always tastes just as good as the time before.

Server was very friendly but never checked back until the table was done eating, things weren't great and needed to be corrected. Server neglected to fix it.

Food tasted great. BUT, the pork was cold as if it was just taken out of the fridge. Also, so much sugar in bread, butter and BBQ sauce.

Gf’s Filet was cooked perfectly , the Cobb salad was great. My grilled shrimp and scallops were seasoned well and still tender . Definitely coming again

I ordered a medium rare strip that was actually cooked medium rare. That alone is worth 3 stars. I spent 45 bucks on booze so I don't remember much else.

This restaurant is my favorite go-to place for business and personal meals. The food, service and staff are excellent. What I really like is the atmosphere. Wherever you’re seated, you have enough space and are separated from other patrons to hold private conversations and not feel like you’re in each other’s space. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was busy! The service was great... food was good... the kids mac and cheese did not go over well with my 6yr old but he enjoyed the fries! The experience was great!

Nothing special here. Food is like any bar/diner. Nothing exciting. I’ve had more interesting menu choices at diners. Service was perfect though. No complaints there. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. Good place if you want a VERY plain, basic menu.

Went for birthday, requested a circle booth, sat us at a table by the kitchen, party of 6. All our food was horrible. My potato soup was a bowl full of corn starch with not one potato. My ceasar salad had too many burnt croutons and too many anchovies, salty as hell. Zero stars and won't go back.

Enjoyed a dinner here recently with one of my favorite clients and had a wonderful time! Food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. It tended to be a bit busy at times and parking was a bit challenging. But, the atmosphere was nice, our server was attentive, and the food and drinks were scrumptious. I’d happily return here again.

Everything is great! Our waitress was super helpful and got all our menu accommodations squared away no problem! Get the cornbread!

Made a reservation for 2:30 ( would NOT have needed one), none was available for 4:00 when I would have liked to make it, but tables were likely available. Wish this would actually allow reservations to be made when tables ARE available. No one asked if we even had a reservation when we arrived. I mentioned it after we were seated so they didn’t expect us to be on the way when we were already there!

Loved it here. The braised short ribs were so delicious! Great drinks, as well. My fiancé & I had a great early Valentine’s Day date here. Would highly recommend it!

Check on the Baby Back ribs...seems the recipe has changed from the beginning. More barbecue sauce. Used to be more Danish-like. Still tasty, but different. Twisted Shrimp DELICIOUS!!! Crab Dip very good. Bruschetta--A bit dry & needing flavor this time. Cheeseburger--excellent.Chicken Florentine Pasta--delicious, but a little dry this time.French Fries--delicious--thin & delicate."Meaty" Baked Beans--excellent.

Great place for a birthday! Fantastic food and they surprised me with a birthday treat!

Our waitress Serenta was wonderful . My prime rib was excellent. cooked to perfection. The green beans were crisp tender and of course their terrific salted skin baked potato was as good as ever. My wife had the Thai noodle salad with steak. It was pretty good, but the dressing was a little too sweet, next time requesting the dressing on the side.

The bread before dinner was delicious. The prime rib sandwich was flavorful and just the right size. Their French fries were crisp and cooked just the right amount. The service staff were friendly and helpful.

We have never had a bad meal here. The staff is pleasant and attentive. Many wonderful choices on the menu and they also have a gluten free menu. It would be great if the soups could be made gluten free, but aside from that, no complaints. Husband has Celiac’s, and this is our favorite place to dine out.

One of my favorite restaurants! I feel like the portions could be a little bigger, but the food tastes amazing and high quality! My server always came to check on the table and provide refills and friendly service. And of course our appetizer was the iconic spinach dip!

Table of 6..with a reservation..we arrived early sat at the bar.. spent about $80.. appetizers were good and meals were served together by Serita who did a nice job with serving us..at 830 we were still finishing our after dinner drinks..when someone mgr,??? Came over and said we had used our alotted time and she needed the table. Seriously?? We drank our drinks and left..but i have never spent upwards of $500 and been asked to leave because my two hours were up . This is the first time I've been back in 20 years and now i know why. It was not a rememberable experience 20 yrs ago..but i will never forget this night. Disappointed to say the least.

I have not been to JB Dawson since before the pandemic. It was my first time back in 4 years. The food was excellent and I amazed how crowded the restaurant always is. I was thankful for making a reservation with Open Table. The service was also fantastic and based on where the economy is the prices were not outrageous. I would certainly go back again

I stop in every month when I come up from Virginia to visit my mom in a nursing home in Bensalem. Used to bring her when she was well. Now it’s just me, but the spirit and atmosphere of the restaurant keeps me coming.

Cozy and comfortable space. Knowledgeable and attentive service. Really good food.
