Delicious breakfast and excellent service!!!

Eggs over easy were cooked perfectly. Thats it. The ham was dry and flavorless. Biscuits were undercooked, needed another minute or two in the oven. The sausage gravy was pasty, very little sausage and very small amount. If you’re going to advertise your biscuits are covered in gravy then you should do that. This was more like a gravy topping. I wouldn’t have finished the meal if someone would have come back and checked on me after the first bite but I had to be somewhere. To top it off there were only 6 customers in the entire place. So service should have been great, it wasn’t . I will never go back.

Great food at fair prices. The restaurant itself was fairly plain, but that was fine for breakfast. The service was good and the food was very good. All 6 people in our party liked their food. Afterword we got pastries to go which were very good too. my only only complaint was there was no gluten-free/keto pancakes.

Finally stopped by after wanting to for over a year. I’m so glad we did! Breakfast and lunch all day! The breakfast burrito was delicious. Next time I’ll try something from the bakery.

The culinary offerings at this establishment are truly remarkable. The service provided by the staff is both prompt and courteous. My personal favorites include the Mexican skillet and the breakfast quesadillas.

I've been taking my son here since he was a newborn. This family run Cafe is so welcoming and the food is great. I've even taken friends and everyone loves it. The pecan waffle is my go to and it's delicious, the meat skillet is also really good. My son lovesbthe pecan waffle and their omelet and pancakes (Mickey mouse shaped). Carlos is always so attentive and a great server. Thank you, and we will see you again soon.

Just left JGoody Cafe bakery 830am on a Thursday! If you drive by it looks as though they are closed! They are not closed they are OPEN! You must stop in and try some of the pastries or breakfast and lunch. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was outstanding in a nice clean atmosphere! Stop on & give them a try! I know I'll be back!

I had the Homemade lasagna it was really good it just kinda fell apart as I ate it, and then my partner had the classic Benedict eggs and they were a little hard to get all of the flavors in one bit, and I love the table tops for at least three of the tables. 21/04/24 They still have great food and now they have a Texas burger if you get it get some extra barbecue sauce. 12/05)24 Still great food and they do special events like today.

First two times at this restaurant were o k, as far as service and food. Third time is a charm.We waited nearly 45 minutes for 2 breakfast.The waitress read everything back to us including my final request of please make it super hot! Wife's plate of breakfast was cold, my Food was lukewarm and not as I requested. It took another 14 minutes for the waitress to bring us.Our toast, which ended up being one slice of white bread cut in half.No butter on it just plain tobut we ordered wheat. The waitress apologized for the cold food and come back and set. Manager just said to wipe it off and charge $5 for 1 cup of coffee. It may be a bit of a while before I choose to go back.

Wonderful food, amazing atmosphere and service. The family that owns and operates it are so polite and sweet. This place is truly a Gem.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant three times now and absolutely love it! It’s a family business and they are all so friendly! Service is wonderful and the food is incredible. We are telling all our friends to come try it!

My mom and I stopped in for some spontaneous breakfast and were pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious, and service was very friendly. We are vegetarian/plant-based between the two of us and we were able to really enjoy ourselves. Breakfast burrito, quesadilla, and some French toast to share, highly recommend! Fair prices as well. They have a decent baked goods and crafted coffee selection as well if a full meal is not the plan.

Cozy, clean and open atmosphere. Service was great. Great selections of desserts. I ordered the Mexican skillet which didn’t have much chorizo and hefty on the potatoes. The chai latte was very watery and didn’t have much flavor. I notified our server and he brought a cup with teabag to add to my latte. I will give this place another try at some point.

I cannot say enough good things about Jgoody. From their staff to their food, they do not dissapoint. As a customer who has been their before grand opening to now, I am always happy with all they do there. Glad to see them winning awards as well. Well deserved!

Great lunch with my Mom! I had the shrimp stew and my mother had a beautiful cup of homemade chicken noodle soup. Brought freshly baked desserts home for the family for dinner. Will be back! Thank you!

Great family atmosphere. The owner is a master chef from NYC. Highly skilled excellent and superb breakfast and brunch. The Belgian waffle one of the best i have had the eggs light and fluffy delicious! The homemade fresh cut breakfast potatoes are cooked on a skillet ! Not deepfried like most other places. This is the healthy food spot. Even the croissant is homemade from scratch! The coffee is fresh ground Guatamala smooth!! They also have a bakery section homemade cakes and treats. Once you go here you'll say why I didn't come sooner.

Breakfast all day AND lunch... in addition they have the most scrumptious selection of sinful baked goods (brownies, cakes, candies, cookies) the flan, banana bread pudding, chocolate chip brownies, chocolate cheesecake and lemon merengue pie had me at hello today! Looking for a place for coffee they have it: espresso, affogato, lattes, shakes and more! Delicioso!

Our visit to Oldsmar was for a family celebration over 4 days. We found JGoody's by chance and never looked further. The service was wonderful; the atmosphere is quaint, warm and inviting and the food - on our thrid visit - was wonderful! All that said, we came for the pastries! And they are/were sheer artistry from first sight to last bite! As one who works in the baking world I know that if it looks good, you'll buy it. However, if it tastes good, you'll buy it again and again. That was certainly the case here. Thanks to the staff for their kindness during our stay ... we'll be back ... early and as often as we visit.

Chef Goody is a master chef! This place is off the charts. My husband and I had breakfast here and were blown away. Fresh, flavorful and delicious. The corned beef hash was the best I’ve ever had. And the bakery will bring you to your knees. The most impressive high end desserts I’ve ever seen. They have opera cake, linzer torte, Black Forest cake, coconut cake, huge éclairs, all types of cookies, beautiful homemade chocolates and so much more. I had to leave before I bought everything lol 😂 Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you everyone at J Goody and Chef Goody! See you soon 👍🏼

We have a group of 6-12 ladies who frequent JGoody and we have never had anything less than a great experience. Highly recommend!

Very clean restaurant. Excellent and fresh pastries from the bakery on site. I had the vegan omelette and everything was fresh. A cafe con leche here includes the evaporated milk which is very traditional. Will definitely return.

Great service. The chef even comes out to check on everyone to make sure the food is cooked to perfection. I had eggs, ham and home fries. I like everything except the fries. My husband had the Mexican skillet which he loved. They have a lot to choose from. Plus they have a wide selection of dessert that are homemade.

I Was Hoping for More I love a good bakery. Unfortunately, they didn’t have what I usually enjoy: a cinnamon roll, an almond croissant, a scone… They did have typical breakfasts. The eggs were eggs, the ham was only OK and the coffee was pretty good. The side of fruit was quite nice with a good mix. I was disappointed by the French toast—something I really like. It was completely soggy in the middle and I could only eat the edges. Yuck. Unfortunately, I really can’t see any reason to return.

Frist tiime it was a wonderful breakfast. Real butter, maple syrup great service. This time sausage was grainy and no flavor, no real butter and no real maple syrup. Disappointed.

We were looking for a place to have breakfast and google reviews let us to Jgoody. What a find!! Our breakfast skillets and biscuits/gravy were amazing! Topped it off with cheesecake and wow! We are from NJ and are foodies and I would highly recommend trying Jgoody out. You will not be disappointed! My husband even raved about the unsweetened iced tea.

1st Visit. Recommended by 3 people. Myral and staff were very helpful with food suggestions and friendly. Coffee, dessert and tamale. Yumm!

Update: Came back for round 2. Mexican Skillet and Breakfast Quesadilla...fantastic! Everything else was great again too. Now my only complaint is that the portions are too big and I try to eat it all! Love this place! Now let's fill the place up so it sticks around. We don't have enough great breakfast places around here. __________ First time trying this new breakfast place. The service was great and the food came out fresh and hot. It's a pretty big place with a lot of options on the menu. The biscuits are definitely homemade. The sausage gravy was a little bland but a ton of pepper livened it up. We'll definitely be back to try a few other options like the Mexican Skillet and the Breakfast Quesadilla.

This is my new favorite place for brunch! The food is wonderful. The service is fast and friendly. Both breakfast and lunch meals are served all day, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus a big bonus, the bakery is AMAZING, the pecan pie is to die for...👏👏 👏. Thank you JGoody Café

JGoody was recommended to us and it was Very Delicious. We ordered the biscuits & gravy, French toast and the meat lovers skillet and everything came out perfect. The best French toast. They make they're own bread and you can tell the difference. We loved this place and will be back. Service was very good, Our waiter Carlos was very nice too.

Never heard about this place although it is very close to where I live. Found it on google reviews and thought to give it a try. Everything was perfect from the moment we entered the restaurant. The coffee smells wonderful, the bakery looks very tempting, but above all, Lynda was exceptionally welcoming. Our drinks and food were perfect. Highly recommend this place

This is a clean and bright cafe with modern interior decor. A pleasant welcome staff escorted us to our table, which was pleasing for a cafe. Also, our waitress was very pleasant and spoke with a warm and friendly tone. The other employees were also very pleasant. All the employees were neatly dressed. The food came out within a short time, was well prepared, and tasted good. They have a wide variety of deserts beautifully displayed for you to choose from. We got the pineapple pie and topfengolatshen (if you like bread pudding, you may like this). Both recommended.

We've been wanting to try J Goody since we first heard of it. So glad we finally stopped in to this little gem of a restaurant/bakery/café to start a morning of errands! We'll absolutely be back again and again. My only regret: instead of only eating half of my breakfast (veggie and cheddar omelet with homefries, bacon, J Goody roll, fruit cup, and Guatemalan coffee) and bringing home the rest for tomorrow, I dove in and ate it all, so I didn't have room for Crepes Suzette. Next time, I'm eating dessert first! 😍💖⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ UPDATED: After we finished all our errands, I knew we'd be passing by J Goody on our way home, so we stopped by, I ran in, and got a slice of flan and a limoncello layered dessert to go. I just tried the flan, and OMG, I'm so happy we picked up dessert on our way home. It's one of the best flans I've ever had! Can't wait to try the limoncello. 💖🍮 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious Food & great Atmosphere!!!♥️

We just discovered this place in Oldsmar, although they’ve been here for a year. Breakfast was great and there was a variety of items to choose from the menu. A lot of great looking beautiful, desserts on display and even chocolate as well. Very nice family run. Also great selections for kids, like Mickey Mouse pancakes. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed herself. Very nice clean establishment, will definitely return!

This is such a hidden gem!! We went here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the range of pastries they had on display. We had eggs Benedict and Mexican skillet. We also had a macchiato and hot chocolate. The Mexican skillet is a flavor bomb and the quantity was generous. The interesting thing were the poached eggs. I have never seen a a perfectly shaped poached egg and the waitress explained how they make it differently to get the shape right. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is so welcoming. Before we left we had desserts to go and the chef was kind enough to let my kids into the kitchen while he torched our creme Brule with a blow torch. They were beyond excited !! Highly recommend and will visit again.

Exactly what Oldsmar needed! This inconspicuous yet amazing restaurant is a gem. As a breakfast enthusiast who has tried several restaurants in the area, none of them come close to this one. The staff and chef are friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxing. I’ve yet to try to the bakery items but they look delectable. Don’t hesitate and don’t wait any longer, you must try J Goody!

Our waitress was Lynda and she was more than welcoming, accommodating, and kind. She helped us to our table and served us in a timely manner, all while being super sweet and patient. I got the espresso Cubano and the Mexican skillet, and my mom got the caramel macchiato and healthy alternative omelet. The drinks tasted delicious, and the espresso was nice and smooth without being too bitter. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food, and even got the tequila lemon pie to go. We hope to come back soon!

This place is amazing - a hidden gem! We had breakfast but I ate so fast I forgot to get a pic. The food is exceptional tho; the people are kind and it is family owned and operated. It is a must visit! Yes, we had to get dessert which was amazing. I had the flan - spectacular!

Good food, wait is variable, staff is friendly. There are a lot of dessert options to enjoy there or takeaway. We tried a few- chocolate cheesecake, limoncello (lemon cake, not overly sweet) and tiramisu (light)- all fresh. The Mexican skillet is huge, very filling. My family enjoyed their dishes- crepe, waffle omelette, tuna sandwich.

This was out first time coming here after finding a breakfast place on the road. It’s a nice little cafe situated in a plaza. Our waitress was very nice and she was attentive with conversation. It’s not a big cafe which I like, customers feel more drawn to the business. Well the food was fresh and delicious! The expresso is a must try, it’s the chef’s specialty from Venezuela! If you’re in town stop by here and give this place try, no disappointment.

An amazing bakery, coffee shop, and breakfast/lunch restaurant. The baked goods are incredible and all homemade, and the breakfast foods were delicious. Not to mention all of the staff (which, on the day I was there was the owner Chef Jose, his wife, and his daughter) were great, friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We came here for breakfast to a new restaurant that should have many more reviews. It was a delight to be there. The chef, Jose Goody(the owner) came out to visit. We all had something different and tried each other's dish. Everything was delicious. We had the breakfast burrito, the meat lovers omelette, and the western style omelette. We finished our meal with the warm apple strudel sans ice cream, and the New York cheesecake. These desserts were outstanding. To top everything off, they have outdoor seating available that is pet friendly. It was perfect.

Had a wonderful meal at JGoody today. I had a huge breakfast burrito which was delicious. It was not hot spicy. My friend had the crepe with exotic fruits - strawberry, banana & blueberry with a vanilla sauce. She said the coffee was really good. The counters are filled with luscious looking desserts. Everything is handmade by pastry chef/owner Jose. Please support this wonderful independent business.
