Extremely over priced for an establishment that doesn't serve fresh BBQ. Everything is reheated. They also should get a lesson or 2 on customer service. These girls are extremely rude.

I was driving from Tuscaloosa to Montgomery and had been craving a pulled pork sandwich for weeks. Didn't want one from a chain so passing by a random bbq spot was a Godsend. The place was packed so I figured they had something going on. My food was hot and the pork was tender, seasoned and sauced perfectly. I'm headed back home today... Guess where I'm stopping on my way back.

Food is good !! Give you plenty. That old hole in the wall atmosphere

Took a drive out to try this place out after reading the great reviews about how good the BBQ was. Ordered the pulled pork plate with fries and slaw with a side order of stew. I've eaten BBQ pretty much all over the U.S. this was by far the worst pulled pork I had ever had. It was so dry you couldn't put enough sauce on it to make it enjoyable. On to the stew. I'm not really sure what is was. I ate two bites of it and threw it away... still not sure what it was. My wife couldn't even finish her meal. She did say the potato salad was good.

Great place to eat! On our way home from vacation and it did not disappoint!! Great service! I got cheeseburger and husband got pulled pork plate! So good!!

The food is always good! Jim's is always busy so prepare to have a little bit of wait time.

Legendary spot on Hwy 82 headed to and from Tuscaloosa., Classic BBQ , Old School Alabama feel inside, & the best sweet tea I've had in awhile! Perfect spot on the way to Tuscaloosa!

Actually this time I turned and walked out. The employee that came to take our order at the counter, had just been filling condiment bottles in the back. She approached the window picking at her nose ring and rubbing her nose. I left before the fishing began.

When the parking lot is full, you know it has to be pretty good. We just got sandwiches - tasty and filling!

Stopped in for a quick bite on the way home from Montgomery. Delicious Conecuh sausage dog. Got some thick meaty Brunswick stew to take home. Went great with some homemade cornbread.

Cool, little place, decent BBQ, moderate price, and nice folk. Really liked their chocolate chip cookies.

We were passing tho and stopped at Jim's and so glad we did . The best food we had in a while. Great service. Jessica was AWESOME . The photo salad and baked beans and ribs and the pulled pulled was beyond great. If you are ever passing tho here and looking for good southern food this is the place for sure. If we are ever back around here we will be stopping again !!!! Thanks for the great time Jim's bbq

Excellent place to eat, located in Billingsley on highway 82, it is a favorite place for locals and travelers as well. Cannot beat the Rob’s and bbq sandwiches

We drove down on Labor Day because it had been recommended to us and it did not disappoint! The Bar-B-Q was delicious!

To be the only place to eat within a 10 mile radius this place is delicious. I had the Conecuh Dog and it was great with great service.

Because I've had so much good food from this place over the years, I hate leaving a bad review. However, my latest experience wasn't good at all. I ordered a pound of bbq and a small side of cole slaw to go. At $19 and some change before tip, I thought it was a little high. However, the worst part was that the bbq obviously came straight from the fridge. Also, the young lady working the register wasn't friendly at all. I gave an extra star because the sauce is so good. I'll be back, but it won't be any time soon.

My cousin Jeanette owns this place. I've been here as a kid and I'm familiar with the "secret family recipe" BBQ sauce. But never have I actually ate here. I came here today at almost 31 years old, and finally ate in here. I didn't get our famous BBQ sauce, but I got a grilled chicken sandwich and potato salad. The potato salad tasted like i made it myself. Which is a high compliment. That family recipe i know so well. Completely delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich was also delicious. Definitely worth waiting for. I felt right at home. I'd like to bring my friends out here soon. To see where I'm from and to taste the food that runs in my family. I also tried a chocolate pie. Oh goodness!! A must have. Bless the lady who makes those. It was divine. I will have to come back soon to get one of those.

You might want to get your order to go if you're an easily triggered Auburn fan. The walls of Jim's are adorned from floor to ceiling with University of Alabama signed posters and photos. The food is delicious and everyone is friendly. It's definitely a gem.

The food has always been good, but DO NOT make the mistake I did and assume the prices you see in the photos are anywhere near accurate. My order was DOUBLE what I thought it would be. $24.00 for an order of wings and a side!! I won't make the mistake of calling in an order w/o confirming the prices again.

Great barbecue sandwich! The meat is so tender and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweetness.

Next time I'll try the Country Fried Steak. A bit pricey, but the Bar-B-Que was fine. I meant to ask if they made the coleslaw.

Been here a few times love their food, their BBQ is great with plenty of meat and great tasting sauce . Their cheese burgers are very good , had a realy thick meat pattie with great flavor.

Good barbecue! They never bat an eye when I asked for slaw on my Big Jim. However, the locals will look at you askance, but this ultimately adds to the rural bbq house feel. I stop here anytime I'm down this way.

Staff was friendly and service was good. Ribs were really tender but I didn't care for the flavor. The cheese sticks, macaroni, and okra were delicious.

Its decent family style bbq joint with a univerisity of alabama theme. Cool photos a a home feel to it. They get swarmed at lunch but get it done. The food seems rushed but they do get swarmed.

I ordered the rib plate with 2 sides onion rings and okra.The ribs we're very good even without trying them without the sauce which made them better.The only complaint I did have was the sides were barely warm. I would visit your restaurant again.

The curly fries still awesome as ever. The bbq sandwich used to have great smoked flavor,now just tastes like boiled meat with sauce on it. Been going there almost 17 years. What happened? Staff is still wonderful.

It is truly in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive. I got a rib plate and an order of chicken wings. The rib plate came with two sides. I opted for fried okra and corn nuggets. Let me tell you the okra by far was the freshest okra I have ever had. The chicken wings were absolutely perfect. Smoky and crispy in a delicious bourbon sauce. The ribs were decent but really middle level flavors. The bbq sauce was a perfect balance of all the good stuff in a sauce. I ever I am close enough to return I sure will!!! If just for the wings and okra.
