I ordered 1 chutney roll and 1 Mayo garlic roll. He gave me both mayo garlic wraps in a uncooked tortilla bread. Didn’t even bother telling me that there’s no parathas or anything I found out when I got home. 0 Star.

Update from new location but same great tast. Amazing Rolls , tried chicken chatni, chicken mayo and zinger paratha. Each one had a unique flavor, brought back memories from back home karachi pakistan.Puri Paratha and sauces were really good. Also tried the hot dog , very good i must say. Prices are very reasonable aswell.I wish they can open a location on the north side.

The food here is amazing. You can tell the quality of the ingredients they use for their menu with every bite. We ordered the chicken garlic mayo roll, zinger burger, volcano fried chicken, masala corn, Jamaican samosa, masala fries & chai. We enjoyed every single item with 0 complaints. Nice little area with several Halal food trucks. Heard many good things about their Zinger burger. It was probably the crispiest and most well spiced of the dozen I have tried. Super flavorful and very filling. All the food was good and the lady was super sweet as well. Start helping locals out, people!

Hard working couple serving great food. I have tried seekh kabab roll, zinger roll, chapli burger and malai boti roll. Rolls were made hot and fresh, size was huge, and the content inside of roll tasted great. One complaint though: If i come to a food truck, then i compromise ambiance, seating etc. BUT the rates of food are WAY MORE than even a restaurant. I got one Seekh kabab roll and one Chapli burger in $28. Thats way too much and will make me think twice if i should return

Tried it for the first time today and I don’t regret it! I got a chicken chatni roll. It reminds me of the rolls I’ve had in pakistan. It is spicy, and very flavorful, and the paratha is so good— I haven’t found a restaurant serving a roll in an actual paratha, so this was very exciting. 100% recommend!

They keep changing the prices depending on the demand. How are you selling just a zinger for different price on a weekday and $13.99 on a weekend? They changed prices twice in a span of few minutes while I was standing there. They are getting GREEDY. The food isn’t even good enough, have always found it so salty. Oh and don’t fall for their groupon scam, they advertise on groupon but refuse to acknowledge or honor the coupon when you mention it.

We tried their Anda Paratha roll, crispy chicken burger, and garlic mayo roll. They were cooked fresh and they were perfect for a late night meal. One of the best in Houston area and definitely a must try.

The food was good n fresh .. loved the corn masala , it was really good We had Chaplin Kabab roll n bun Kabab also both were good n real spicy !! We went there after midnight and they were really enjoying making food for their customers.

This is a food truck. There is no sitting area yet. You have to bring your own chairs. But it is a must try. Chapli kabab burger is awesome. All the rolls were 10/10. Highly recommended

My burger turned out to be a disappointment; it was just a regular chicken sandwich falsely advertised as a zinger! And the price, $10.99 without fries, is exorbitant. Many desi/halal food vendors seem to be overcharging, using the guise of halal to add an extra $4-5. Unlike iconic Houston landmarks like the burger joint, which offer reasonable prices, these vendors are taking advantage of customers. We should boycott such establishments to put an end to price gouging, especially newcomers from LA and New York who are inflating prices across Texas. Paying $18-$19 for a meal at a food cart in Coney Island might be acceptable, but it's not the norm in Houston.

Have been here twice and it was perfect both times. Ordering is easy over the phone, staff is friendly when you get there, and food is delicious and fresh. I recommend the spicy chicken zinger, but you can’t really go wrong with anything on their menu!

I had the Garlic Mayo roll. It felt like I was eating in Pakistan again. The roll was amazing and the husband and wife who were there were wonderful with us. We went back 3 times to Oder it because how good it was.

The couple is awesome running this food truck. We ordered their chapli and zinger burger and both were amazing. Chapli was so good that I requested us we would need just the chapli by itself to which they gladly made us two nice big chapli kabobs. Everything was flavorful and great cooked to perfect.

The food is so good!!! I’ve always heard about this food truck but today was my first time trying it and it was amazing! it was cooked fresh and it was made in such a timely manner. 10/10 recommendation for everyone to try this out!! We got the zinger parata wrap and the zinger fries. in my opinion it’s better than the food trucks by high way 6.

Look no further if you’re in pursuit of amazing Karachi style street food with the most authentic flavors and stellar attention to detail. Owner Ahmed Jamal is passionate about using the highest quality ingredients and is therefore able to deliver a game changing take out experience out of a food truck. With his wife Madiha hitting it out of the park on pretty much all menu items, your experience is poised to be elevated regardless. But if I have to choose, my favorites are the zinger and the corn. Paratha rolls are pretty solid too and less oily than comparable vendors for sure. Their customer service is superb as they’re keen on providing a customized product delivery to all their clientele despite being so busy in their early days of success. I truly hope they keep succeeding and also keep up these incredibly high standards. Two thumbs (and five stars) up!!!!!

We tried a variety of of menu items and loved each and every single one. The food is full of flavor and is not too heavy. We were able to try multiple items on the menu and found ourselves loving each sandwich. They have amazing sauces and sides as well. This is a must try and another staple of the Houston Halal food scene. Definitely worth bringing family and friends!

Finally got a chance to try out JNS hot and spicy and wow, just no words! Amazing food, we devoured every bit! We tried the zinger paratha and garlic mayo roll, but let me tell you about the volcano chicken…the BEST fried chicken I’ve ever had! so flavorful and moist, I usually don’t eat fried chicken but my family made me try and seriously it hit the spot. Ordered masala corn and Limca as well and both are so delicious! This was our first time here and will probably become a weekly staple for us! Can’t wait to try all the other items on the menu.

We ordered 1 chicken zinger burger 3/5. Masala corn 5/5 and zinger fries 2/5. They need to work on their fries. It seems like the fries were not fresh and it was too oily. Burger was soggy.

Finally! After a long anticipated wait, JNS Hot & Spicy is back! The Zinger burger is my absolute favorite and never disappoints. Be careful though, you may develop an addiction like I have because it is so hard to resist. The portions are HUGE and reminded me of the zingers overseas (pictures don't do it justice), the mouthwatering sauce and chicken paired with the food always being fresh is another big plus! Definitely give this place a try and don't be afraid of trying different items and asking for specific requests such as spice level and such. They will cater to your wants and needs and always offer top notch food and service, LOVE IT!!

Finally got to try JNS hot and spicy. I ordered zinger burger and seekh kabab paratha roll. Tender juicy seekh kabab wrapped in soft paratha and spicy red chutney was full of flavor. zinger burger was the best. Perfect blend of flavor. Sister madiha was super friendly. I recently tried the crispy chicken burger from JNS Hot & Spicy. While the bun was substantial, the oregano taste was overpowering. Additionally, the use of chicken pieces instead of a single fillet made the burger challenging to eat as the chicken kept falling out. There was an excessive amount of sauce, making the overall experience a bit messy. Hoping for improvements in the future.

Absolutely amazing and delicious food! We got the masala corn, zinger fries, garlic mayo roll, and zinger burger and every single dish was done to perfection, with adequate spice, seasoning, sauce, and ingredients. It reminded me of authentic Pakistani street food and is the closest I have come to tasting it since moving here from Karachi. I visited on Saturday with a friend and despite ordering quite a bit, our food was ready within less than 15 minutes - even though there were several other orders being taken care of as well. Portions are generous as well for the price. Will definitely visit again as it is less than 10 minutes from me and the location is great as it is not too crowded. (Tip: Bring cash if possible!)

I cannot say enough good things about JNS food! I tried the zinger burger, garlic mayo roll, hot dog, masala corn, and chai. Every single item was extremely delicious! Everything was very fresh, the chicken was delicious and soo flavorful. Out of all the amazing food Houston has, this has to be among the top of the list! And to top it off, the service was fast, friendly and accommodating. I don’t live in Houston anymore and was just visiting for the weekend, but every time I visit Houston in the future, I will be sure to stop here every time! I will be telling all my Houston folks about this spot, because if you haven’t had JNS food yet, you are missing out.

The garlic mayo roll and the zinger roll were huge and very delicious. I highly recommend. The fried chicken inside the roll is spiced perfectly and all the sauces make the roll taste so good. Customer service was also excellent! The chef took time to explain the menu very well and was even kind enough to let me try the masala fries on the house. The masala is also something I highly recommend! It is unlike any fries I’ve tasted in the best way possible. The fries are nice and crispy and the masala seasoning is unique and amazingly flavorful. This place deserves all the great ratings truly!💖

I was visiting Houston and wanted to try out different halal spots but after trying this I ended up ordering it 3 out of the 4 nights I was here, best zinger fries ever

Tried the Bun Kabab, and zinger burger, both of which were delicious! Would definitely recommend. One slight exception is that the zinger was a bit too saucy, but other than that it was great.

This place has a lot of potential, but needs some work. This food truck is right across a gas station, making the lighting very good so I was fond of the location. I was greeted by an older Muslim lady who was very sweet yet shy. The food took quite a while (30 min) to prepare, but she was the only person in the truck and I think she had many of the machines turned off. It was also a pleasure to watch her make the food - she is clearly very experienced and made the cooking look like art. After receiving my food and driving back (about a 30 min drive back home), I opened my boxes and was a little disappointed by how the food turned out. My first impression was that there was too much sauce - this is a problem with each one of the dishes so that will also explain why their rating was pretty low. As the food is to go, the abundance of sauce means our food was very soggy. I started with the zinger burger (5/10). It was pretty standard as far as burgers go. There is potential in the chicken as the breading had spice but the sauce covered all of it. The zinger roll (6/10) was my favorite dish as it tasted like the burger but more fun for me to eat. The chicken mayo roll (3/10) was in my opinion my least favorite, as I am not a big fan of malai boti (I hate the texture). Finally, we have the chicken garlic mayo fries (3/10). I didn't realize the chicken was going to be malai boti as well, and the fries were way too soggy from the sauce. Overall, the flavoring isn't too bad, and I think the sauce was also flavorful, there are just some improvements I would make: a) For to go orders, give an option to pack the sauce on the side. It would make the food considerably less soggy and I can pour the sauce to my own extent. b) Give some spice levels on the dishes ordered. The establishment is called JNS Hot & Spicy yet the food was never spicy to me. I think having some level of adjustment can go a long way. c) Put some item descriptions for the dishes on the menu. I would not have ordered the chicken garlic mayo fries if I knew it was malai chicken used, and it's a simple fix that would help a lot. Overall, there is a lot of potential here and I can definitely see myself coming back, especially if I'm eating there as I'm sure the food tastes much different fresh. 1/10: horrible 2/10: bad 3/10: below average 4/10: slightly below average 5/10: average 6/10: slightly above average 7/10: above average 8/10: good 9/10: really good 10/10: excellent
