Great experience first time being here, can't wait to come back! I really enjoyed the service, atmosphere and food. The blueberry pancakes were cooked perfect as well as the biscuits and gravy. My girlfriend enjoyed her meal as well. if you have not tried this place and you are nearby, give it a try.

Seating is a little tight, but well worth it. Awesome burgers!

Wow, this place is AWESOME!!! The staff is very FRIENDLY and COURTEOUS, service is FAST and the food is DELICIOUS! A hidden gem in the UCF area.

We were in town and looking for a good place for breakfast. It's a small place, but they made huge effort to accommodate every arriving guest quickly. Great variety on their menu. Everything tasted great, and portions were nice for the price. We will definitely visit again when we're back in the area.

Super friendly family-owned diner with great homemade food. Constantly checked on us for refills, etc. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh.. There were 5 of us and we just loved it! Be back soon.

Prices were good,food was good only compliant was they use the stupid paper straws. Edit they got rid of the paper straws!😊

I have to say that this dinner has the best BREAD PUTTING I’ve had my entire life! It’s made fresh by one of the owners and she nails it every single time , ever since they open 9 months ago I got at least 3 times a week and never disappointed in the service and quality of everything.

This Diner is a gem! The friendly service with a smile makes you feel right at home. Their breakfast specials are fairly priced and offer great value. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with a variety of food choices for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, ensures there's something for everyone. I particularly appreciate the coffee refills, which are always timely. I will definitely come back.

One of my favorite places to come to, not just for the food but also the "feels like family" customer service. I go out of my way to travel to Johnny's and they never disappoint. Wake up early and get in there before 3pm-try anything, cause it's all good

Whatever you do during the summer time don't sit near the door lol (all the hot air blows in). However, everything else about our visit was wonderful! Food is great and the new location is pretty sleek.

Hadn't been to the old 436-University location in years, took a flier on the Dean-University one and glad I did. Delicious breakfast, great service with a smile and the value is good. Will have to try for lunch. They close at 3.

Had breakfast there and I was disappointed. The hashbrowns were mashed potatoes with no flavor. The eggs seem to be out of date or something, (To weird in consistency to describe) but the toast and service was ok.

Everything was excellent!! Food was delicious, came out fast and hot. Service was great we were welcomed warmly and several different members of the wait staff checked on us, they friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back when in the area.

The waitresses are always pleasant and the service is exalt. Oh yeah ! The food is awesome too. I always get the German omelette. It’s one of my favorites. I’ve been coming to Johnnys for close to 20 years. The family is very friendly and I love all their personalities! Real home-cooked meals!!

I don't understand these reviews. People say they've been coming "here" for eight years, but this location opened 9 months ago. I've been three times, and every time it's been really underwhelming. The food is super bland, their hash browns are a soggy log of potatoes burned on both sides and the toast has the texture of steamed bread, the staff treat you like you're disturbing them (if you can get their attention) and there's zero atmosphere. The only reason I've been three times is it's the closest diner when the kids insist on going out, but it isn't anywhere near as good as say Waffle House, either for food or service - and this last time the waitress gave my wife coffee so hot it burned her mouth and throat. It's definitely popular with seniors, which kind of makes sense given the food is all so soft on the gums. Otherwise, I genuinely don't know how they're getting all of the insane praise in these reviews.

This is a great diner! The staff was very courteous and friendly. The food came out faster than expected. It was very delicious and we enjoyed our visit. We'll definitely be returning!

Stopped in Johnny's on a work trip for a quick breakfast. Service was EXTREMELY fast. I think from the time I ordered to the time my food was on my table was under 5 minutes. Food was good, with the exception that the pancake was a little rubbery. Hashbrowns were perfect, as were the over easy eggs, the sausage links and toast. Staff were really nice, and the place has obviously been rennovated recently. I would definitely return for a cheap breakfast (I think i paid $13 but the breakfast specials are like $8.50).

Decided to try breakfast to go. Service was quick, prices were reasonable and overall very happy! Recommend to try. I ordered breakfast special #3. Generous portions. I will explore more of menu in the future. Thank you.

Ok diner food was typical to above average depending on what you get. But the stand out for me is the coffee and the team effort. Awesome that while you have a server and they are attentive, the whole team makes sure you are well taken care of. Great service.

We love Johnny’s! A true diner. All the employees are amazing and super helpful. Go early on the weekend since they get busy. I had the meat (not on the menu just have to ask) omelette with crispy hash browns and grits. So good!

I went in Monday and I have never been so impressed by a restaurant before. When I tell you, from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, I’ve had the biggest smile on my face. Ear to ear. My server had black hair and she was a really pretty girl. She was absolutely absolutely amazing, super sweet, patient, and delivered my food so fast! Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back here! I highly recommend you try this place out!

Loved this diner in the Orlando metropolitan area. The service was outstanding and the staff functioned well as a team. They were very attentive to our drink needs and order. The atmosphere was hopping on a Sunday morning around 8:30 and we secured the final table in the diner. Thanks for the great experience!

Cool place. Exactly what one would expect in a diner. Service is great. I ordered a salad and gyro with fries. I was hoping the salad would come out first but it all came out at the same time. The food was made with fresh ingredients. The gyro meat was a bit over seasoned for my taste but good. Definitely going back!

Johnny's Diner is a small diner with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and the staff attentive. The prices were very reasonable. We ordered breakfast with coffee and the cup was never empty. The eggs were cooked perfectly the way I like them, with yolk to dip my toast. The home style potatoes had the right amount of seasoning. Next time, I am going to try their lunch.

Food was great. Respectful and caring staff. As I was leaving after breakfast, I witnessed an owner/waitress go outside where an older veteran gentlemen (I knew he was a veteran because of his hat) was leaving and standing by the curb looking across the street. The waitress came out and asked if everything was ok and if she could help him to his car. There I stood watcher her lock arms and walk him to his truck. He was beyond happy. Great job!

We came on a Saturday a morning and they were pretty busy. We ordered an omelette and blueberry pancakes with a few sides. The atmosphere was nice. Our food came out quickly and was delicous. The service was also good albeit we felt a little rushed but otherwise enjoyed breakfast here.

UPDATE: This restaurant has reopened at a new location since my review. Just went to eat here but they’re closed. The plaza is getting demolished so they were forced to relocate. I’ll keep an eye out for a new address because I LOVE this place. Very sad to see they have to move. This little spot had so much character and charm.

This time I had fried mushrooms (yummy) and a bacon & lettuce sandwich with hot chocolate (ALL yummy!). I've never had anything I didn't like... and waitresses always provide great customer service. If you're hesitating giving Johnny's a try... Stop it! 😄

Went here for the first time with my kids and the food wasn't great as the reviews stated. My eggs and French toast were cold and the water here is disgusting sorry to say... it has a nasty taste to it I am highly upset.

What a great find. Here early Sunday morning. Very attentive staff. I ordered the Country Fried Steak & eggs with home fries. Probably the best I’ve had in 10years. No frozen premade steak here. Server kept our coffees topped off. Just wish it was closer to home……

What a cute little place! The food was really good and decently priced. A great place to take a big family. The service was great, the ladies were helping bus and doing coffee rounds. Looked to be a well oiled machine and its seat yourself, so that’s nice. The pancakes were fluffy and the corned beef hash was nice and crispy! Hats off to this establishment!

Just got back from bfast at Johnny's Diner. My son & I had the Corned Beef Hash with eggs n toast while my wife had the grits eggs n toast.. the food was good but the service was exceptional. As the place was packed we had less than a 5min wait. Can't wait to try them out for lunch...

Walked in at 10:30 in the morning and the place was packed. I was still able to get a table right away. This has to be the best diner in Central Florida. I will be coming back again and again. The food is outstanding, and the service is as great as the food. To top it all off the place is squeaky clean!
