I don’t even know where to begin because Jojo Cafe is just EVERYTHING!! 🤩 I came back after my first visit (because, duh, it’s amazing) and OMG—IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT!! The vibe here is like cozy perfection—think Instagram-worthy decor meets homey warmth. Every little thing about this place makes my heart flutter!! 💕✨ Now let’s talk FOOD. I legit can’t even. Chef Darian is a straight-up genius in the kitchen. Every bite was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. 💣 The dishes are so creative and delish, it feels like they were made just for me. Not to mention, the coffee is LIFE. ☕️💯 And, can I just say—the staff remembered me from my last visit!!! 😭💖 I felt so special, like a VIP or something. They’re so sweet and make you feel like you’re part of the Jojo family, which is exactly why I’ll be back again and again. If you haven’t been to Jojo Cafe yet, what are you even doing with your life?! RUN, don’t walk!! 🏃‍♀️💨

Delicious bahn mi, with options for those who want classic bites, for vegetarians, for those feeling adventurous! The sunmer rolls were also great and paired with a tasty dipping sauce. Really reasonable pricing too.

Genuinely so well prepared and fresh. I dont know why this place isnt constantly packed with people, its so addicting. I eat here every time im in the area. And the people who own it are so kind.

Me and my daughter went in there and they're smoothies are delicious. We also had like this vegetable and shrimp roll it was just healthy tasty food

top notch banh mi in philly, sugarcane with kumquat is super refreshing for summer days. a little pricey but understandable in this economy. specials are always a must try!

We were rushing to get to the train station and stopped by Jo Jo’s for a couple sandwiches. The owners and staff were gracious and hospitable. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend this cafe for excellent Vietnamese food.

I was incredibly impressed with Jojo 's cafe. It's a gem hidden in South Philly. The food is amazing quality for an unbeatable price. For $9-12 you can get a delicious, flavorful meal. The staff are phenomenal too. I would recommend the beef stew (served with big chunks of beef in broth, with toasted bread and veggies on the side) and the red pork banh mi. I will 100% be returning and it is my new favorite restaurant in South Philly.

First impression : the service is so nice! We were greeted and was offered help with the menu as soon as we entered. The special hoagie I got was super yummy with lots of mayoand pickled carrots, but wished there was more saltiness to it. A bit of soy sauce would’ve made it perfect. He even wrapped up my leftovers for me when I requested for the rest to-go. Avocado smoothie is a MUST when you visit! *Update* The special banh mi is loaded with pate, Mayo and plenty of salt and pepper that makes it soo good. Sugarcane was sweet and refreshing

Love this place after coming here for the first time. One of the best banh mi in the city. One of the best places to get Vietnamese coffee!!

Bahn mis are great. Had to take away a few stars because as I was drinking my smoothie a hair had come up through the straw. They don't clean the cup sealing machine for drinks, so the top of your smoothie will graze it every time.

I see why this place has 5 stars, and it is well deserved! This is a cute mom and pop shop, and they make the sandwiches with love and care. I had to wait a little because there were two people working (at least in the front). Absolutely did not mind at all. I got the summer rolls and red pork bahn mi to go. They are so meticulous with the detail of the food that they packed a small bag of peanuts for the peanut sauce 🙏 I highly recommend people to come here. The veggies were very flavorful and plenty as with the delicious, juicy meat. The summer rolls are the largest for any Vietnamese place (and I eat a shizz ton of it lol) and well priced. I’ll be coming back very soon to get more and possibly a coffee; they have an espresso machine there :) Definitely a place to keep to heart 💙💚 Edit: I came back a second time for Vietnamese iced coffee. Absolutely no regrets. Strong and lightly sweetened, and they asked if I wanted cream since it was slightly darker than how I like it. Love yall 🙏☕️

the staff is so sweet! we forgot some of our food at their restaurant and they ran after us down the block to make sure we got it back. some of the best bahn mi in the city and their tea is so sweet and refreshing! I eat here at least once a month I'm so obsessed. if you're vegan I recommend their tofu bahn mi with no mayonnaise

So happy that I finally found my go-to place for Banh Mi. So much stuffing and pate…so yummy!! Their Canh Bun is also very good! Will definitely come back again and again and again… 😆

I hate venturing into South Philly the traffic, and the parking, is the worst. I just so happened to be down there for work and I had a taste for some Vietnamese coffee. I plugged Vietnamese coffee into and JoJo’s Café popped up best decision ever. This is the best Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever had if you find yourself in south Philly do yourself a favor head over there.

Legitimately the best Banh Mi I've had in Philadelphia and on the east coast including the Eden Center in Northern Virginia. The restaurant itself is a little small but if you want a truly authentic Vietnamese experience with fantastic quality this is it. We had the Banh Mi, a soup that was off menu, and the sugar cane juice and all of it was 10/10. Only improvements I would make is have a larger sit down area with better chairs and to know what the wifi password is (it exists but the person wasn't sure what the password was) but I will definitely be returning and this is a hidden Philly gem for sure

One of the best banh mi I’ve had so far in the city. Tried the signature and thought the overall taste and balance was perfect - pate and mayo nice and juicy, pickled veggies bright and crisp, and the bread was nicely toasted. Ordered another one to go since I liked it so much. Also ordered an avocado smoothie which I appreciated not being overtly sweet. The staff was super nice and it felt like you were in someone’s home. 10/10 would come back and try all the different banh mi they have on the menu.

I've been here a couple times and every time has been great. Fresh squeezed orange juice and freshly made banh mi really hits the spot after a long day of work. And the employees are so friendly and welcoming. Love it here 🩷

It’s my first time trying out this place and definitely did not disappoint. The staff is very friendly. The Vietnamese coffee has good flavor and it’s not overly sweet which I really enjoyed. The Vietnamese hoagie the bread was definitely different than what I’m used to. It has sesame on the outside of the bread which I love sesame on bread so I can be a little bias. And you know the bread is good when it’s toasted and when you bit into it and it doesn’t fall apart. The pate and Vietnamese mayo is well balanced. It comes with a decent amount of meat and veggies. I highly recommend this place and would definitely be back for more. If you around the area and craving for a banh mi definitely give this place a try.

We were thrilled to discover Jojo Cafe open on Thanksgiving. Our order included Vietnamese coffee and a recommended sandwich with a dipping sauce. It was fantastic! The owners were incredibly kind, offering us samples to taste. We'll definitely be returning!

Absolutely loved my experience at Jojo’s Cafe! I got their signature Bahn Mi and Vietnamese Iced Coffee- both were absolutely delicious. The store is super cute and Jojo was super welcoming. Support local businesses like this one!! Can’t wait to come back.

Hidden gem! Run by the sweetest lady. We can the Cuah Bun (crab noodle soup) and we’re brought to flavortown! Massive portion for $14, I couldn’t even finish half of it. Thick noodles, fish cakes, pork belly, quail eggs, and crab legs! We also got a sugar cane drink(made fresh right in front of us) and a kale, avocado, cucumber smoothie made with all fresh veggies. I was very very impressed by the quality of all the ingredients and how amazing everything tasted!

I ordered two viet hoagies and two vietnamese iced coffees through the phone and service was excellent! The person who took my order made my iced coffee when I got there so it wasn’t watered down- very thoughtful! viet iced coffee was chef’s kiss- soooo good and the viet hoagies were delicious! def will come back again :)

Perfect lunch spot in the neighborhood. My friend and I shared the Red Pork and the BBQ Pork Bahn Mi and both were delicious. The roll was super fresh, crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. All other ingredients fresh as well and prepared on the spot. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is delicious and the cups they come in are fun :) The staff are all super nice and happy to be there and give you any suggestions.

Best banh mi in the city in my opinion. Tried both the red pork and tofu banh mi, but they have a ton of different options. The roll was crisp and held everything together nicely. The vegetables were a extremely fresh and the pork had a ton of flavor. Their homemade mayo is the perfect sauce to bring everything together. The staff was extremely friendly and care a lot about their business. Definitely stop by!

Tasty warm tofu bahn mi with soft bread! Generous amount of filling! I'll be back for another sandwich. Super friendly staff. I also had the Vietnamese iced coffee but I would try a different drink next time because it was coffee mate not condensed milk.

Being local I can visit everyday or whenever my craving settles in. The food , service and atmosphere is incredible. As soon as you walk in , you’ll be greeted by a nice young lady. The place was small but importantly , it felt cozy and at home. A wonderful experience overall.

If you want to try the best Vietnamese hoagie-Banh mi, Jojo’s cafe offers nothing but THE BEST with the finest ingredients. My favorite one is the red pork belly, a must try. They also serve the crab noodle soup which is banging and tastes like home-cooked meal. Plus they also provide catering trays of egg rolls, banh mi, spring rolls, banh beo, and banh bot loc, etc…

Yo this cafe jawn is bussin’! From the bánh mì to the thịt kho, yes they got it ALL! Don’t even let me forget to mention the Pennyworth drink mixed with the sugar cane juice is bomb dot com! Don’t be missing out on this low key gem! This spot is exactly like her motto says — “Ăn là ghiền” translated means “Eating is addicting”! Go and try it yourself and tell me I ain’t lying… I told y’all so!

I’ve had Jojo’s catering for typical Vietnamese street food and they were delicious! It was so good the first time, I’m catering again for my daughter’s birthday next week. Besides the catering, I’ve had the hoagies and they are delicious! I recommend you try some authenticate Vietnamese food!

My favorite banh mi in the city. I always get the combination banh mi and their peach tea with lemongrass. There's only a small seating area and it's a bit cluttered but usually there's seating available.

Just go and try this place out. Báhn mì and peach iced tea were fantastic. Service was excellent. Will be going back for sure.

This place is absolutely excellent, this is the second time I've gone and I decided I needed to write a review. The service is incredible and super friendly. The food is delicious and they serve the absolute best Vietnamese coffee I've ever had. 110 percent recommended. I'll be back many times.

This place is BEAUTIFUL for its traditional Bahn Mi’s. They don’t skimp on any of their ingredients EVER! 6/12 of the Bahn Mi’s I’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. All pleased me. Only issue I’ve had is a language barrier when ever the young men working their aren’t their but that don’t matter what’s so ever when it comes to the food!
