Great place to stop and make or meet friends

The wait time was very long after we ordered

NOT OPEN PLACE IS FOR SALE. WAS IN THE AREA AND SAW THE REVIEWS AND WASNT OPEN. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING. WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THAT.

A wonderful example of "up north" hospitality and quality food. The brisket is phenomenal, as was the Sunday fried chicken. They home make so much here and it shows. Highly suggest making a stop here!!!

Been here a few times in my trail riding days, have not had a bad meal. Some of the best smoked brisket around. I always get the smoked beans and cob on the corn which is also on point! Keep up the good work!

Went on a girls trip rafting and asked our guide about local dinner spots and Jungle Jim's was recommended. By far the best "Smoked" food that I have ever had!!!! Al greeted us with a smile and had great recommendations. And when our Tater Tot Nachos appetizer arrived it looked, smelled, and tasted like heaven. The 4 us us gobbled it up in seconds!! The Pork Belly BLT was a winner and the jerk pork and ham sandwich was melt in your mouth perfection!!! If you ever find yourself rafting on the Peshtigo River this is the only dinner spot I would recommend !!!!!!! 10 Stars

Been coming for years but this is the first time I have tried the smoked meat sandwich. The brisket was the best I've had. Better than the ones I've tried in Texas even. Service was friendly.

Outstanding food and service! Love the hunting theme of the restaurant.

Quick stop to get out of the rain. No outdoor area to sit, so not so puppy friendly. Service was good and free information from locals is always a help. We did not eat but it sure smelled good, rain slowed so we moved on before eating.

Stopped here on our quads for a drink and some food and the food was ok it took a bit for our order.

I go here every time I go up north. Every time I come here the food is amazing, the atmosphere feels great, and the service makes you feel at home.

Great food and great service!! The owners really know how to run a bar/restaurant and how to treat customers. We've been coming here for years. I recommend the chicken dumpling soup, shrimp basket and onion straws are my favorites. Definitely recommend stopping here.

Bison burger was delicious! Would go again as I have heard the beans are the bomb!

Al's baked beans are out of this world! We love bringing our girls here. Food is always great and the atmosphere is family friendly!

This place is absolutely electric for a Northwoods bar! The staff is friendly, attentive, and likes to chat. Food was out of this world good. Beers were cheap and the VLTs and coin machine were quite lucrative. All around fantastic bar.

Stopped this weekend for lunch. Got the BBQ Sampler platter. Phenominal and way too much food for even 3 people!

Truly amazing sandwich very good and very reasonably priced.

My first time and we came on a bad day. It was Saturday and there was some event going on and it was extremely busy. We waited approximately 90 minutes to be served. We weren't starving so we weren't overly outraged but believe things would've been different if we were. That said the food was still incredible. Excellent Southern style BBQ in the northern woods. I just can't recommend eating in on the weekend, takeout only.

Had BBQ pork special. It was one of the best meals I've had in a while. Absolutely delicious. Not a big BBQ fan but I'm telling you, this was amazing.

Our server was overwhelmed and had difficulty with keeping everyone taken care of with drinks. Food orders were wrong and server argued about the order with one of the people in our group.

For how busy it gets the service was pretty good.

Great place to stop when you are 4 wheeling or just out looking for a quick bite. The brisket was fantastic! Potato wedges were good too! We are definitely going back!

Ate here multiple times...unfortunately too late last time to get the Pitmaster...only geipe i have is the time it took to get our food the last visit...will say thats the 1st time in 4 trips...so its likely an anomaly...still love the place and will be back again

We always stop here when we are in the Northwoods!!! Jim is usually behind the bar serving up cocktails! Friday's fish fry is the bomb! You won't be disappointed!

Al & Carol have worked very hard over several decades to cultivate a very consistent and enjoyable, friendly atmosphere. Good food and drinks, and staff (like family) that really cares about community... And you. Great Community of people.

The exterior and interior have this beautiful rustic look to it and the building is very clean. The staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic, I have not been disappointed by anything yet. I will be a reoccurring customer.

The food is decent, but the service is horrendous. Went there on Friday night at 7pm. Got sat down right away. Waited approximately 15 min for the rest of our group to arrive. Ordered our food at 7:25. At 8:55 we asked about our food and was told 5 min. At 9 p.m., no food arrived, so 2 of the 7 left. At that point, I went up and talked to Alan the owner. He yelled at me and said they were busy. I explained that everyone who ordered after us has eaten and left. Then, a pickup order came in and got his food ahead of us. I'm guessing that order was NOT called in before 725 but yet he got his food before us. Our order had not really been put in until we asked about our food. Even with all that and cameras, he still blamed it on us and cussed us out while his bartender tried to fight with us. We walked out in the end. I will never spend my money at this place again.

It's my favorite place to eat in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Friendly atmosphere & good food. 👍

The best smoked meat I've ever had. It's a fun place to go right on the snowmobile and ATV trail. I like it when the owner comes to the table and talks to us and asks how the meal is. Just a nice atmosphere.

My buddy and I stopped here while we were out and about on the sleds and gotta say it was a awesome experience. The staff was awesome and to be honest some of the best people I've came across to be around they were not only very on the ball with everything but also very social. Fun fun time

Jungle Jim's is a regular stop for us when we are in the are riding UTVs/ATVs. The staff is great, the food is amazing and the location is perfect for us. We ALWAYS enjoy stopping in and we look forward to the next time we are there.

It is always a go-to stop for us when we are in the area. Friday night fish fry best in the area, my favorite is the Walleye. Jungle Jim's is also home to some amazing BBQ. The owner has spent many years perfecting his recipes; the finished product is outstanding.

Take out Walleye dinner, pickup exactly when promised. Steaming hot and very good with great sides.

Al's barbecue is second to none. My buddy and I actually split a special brisket dinner and both left very satisfied.

Everything is great here! I’d recommend everything on the menu, especially the Thursday menu. Top notch place for great food, and right on the atv trail.

Awesome food, fair prices, great service, friendly staff. Try the smoke house menu,you won't regret it, we've been eating there for years and haven't had a bad meal. Try the doughnuts on their breakfast menu, their sinful.

This was our first time here and we loved it! The brisket and pulled pork were phenomenal. We couldn't get enough! We will definitely be making this place a regular spot 6o eat at! The staff was nice, the atmosphere was comfortable and the location was perfect!
