Visiting family and came here for first time - now my favorite spot!! Comfortable welcoming atmosphere but the staff was the best part! Trapper was so welcoming to my friend and I (seniors) especially when we said it was our first time and he went out of his way to describe all the various offerings. When I said, I wanted to have something truly unique that I’ve never had before he made me up a delicious iced coffee with coconut milk and chocolate! Not my usual fare but I loved it lol. When we were still there after 2 hrs, Dom gave us big mugs of ice water. These guys are gems. Thank you

Went here for the first time the other day and I was very surprised to see they had milk alternatives (I’m allergic to cows milk) so I was actually able to order drinks for a change which is huge.

Love living close to this coffee spot; great coffee. I especially like the cold brew and their cold foam. I always end up getting that. I’ve tried their croissant and it’s great but I haven’t tried a lot of the other food. It’s also a nice spot and fairly dog friendly. I’ll be back… a few times a month probably!

We just moved to the Ogden area and have been looking for a coffee shop that feels like home, that we can walk the dogs too in the morning. I think we have found our place. Starting off with our normal summer go to standards. A coffee cake/ house blend and iced mocha/ avocado toast. They were top notch. The staff was great and the food was perfect. Can say they will be seeing more of us very often.

Awesome place to go, very cozy and good on cold and hot days! They're always so sweet and willing to help and the merch is adorable. Update: It's been years and this is still an absolute favorite! I love the staff and after all these years they still haven't gotten an order wrong and are always kind to anyone who walks in

I was glad to find this cozy little cafe (open before 7, even!) last week. The Avo toast and coffee cake were both delicious, and the cuppa joe powered me through a long day. Will have to stop by again to try the brekkie sandwiches

I've come here the last two days to do my Zoom class and hang out and do homework. Coffee is great and I had ABC's in toast this morning (PB, banana, cinnamon, drizzled with honey or maple syrup), wow...so good. Staff is great. Highly recommend.

This is the coolest place i have been to in a long time they have such a great atmosphere here local artists they show and of course there coffee is sooo great. I love there highlander groog plus they use cafe ibis coffee which i love.

Honestly one of the worst matchas I've ever had 😭 So powdery and pretty disgusting, tried adding water to make it better...did not work so sad and disappointed. Wasn't even mixed all the way, just chunks of powder in the bottom. I've come back a few times but every time I'm not impressed.

This place is an absolute gem of a cafe. The drinks taste excellent, everyone is very friendly, and the entire space is cozy, including the covered outdoor area.

Only place in town that sells Smithsonian certified bird friendly coffee. They carry 3 to 4 certified coffees.

I love this place especially their baked goods. I would have given it 5 stars but last time I went when I got the bill it didn't match the prices written on the board behind the counter. When I asked about it, the person behind the counter pointed to an 8x11 piece of paper on the wall behind her and the only thing readable was 'Price Increase'. She said prices had increased but they didn't get around to updating the board which is the only thing the customers can read. She wasn't very nice about it, no apologies. I suggested they update the board since that's what the customers can read but got the impression it wasn't a priority.

I had an interaction here that really rubbed me the wrong way. We visited on Thanksgiving, and we visited today on Christmas Eve. We were thinking we'd create a holiday tradition of popping in for a light bite & hot drink on holidays. The coffee shop was completely crowded, all the sounds and smells of a bustling coffee shop. We were placing the order and our 2 year old was fidgeting with the little service bell on the counter. A lady, probably mid 40's with a nose ring left the barista station came over and ripped the bell out of her hand without a word said. I get it, kids can do annoying things, I was prepared to ask her to stop on my own, and we were almost done with the transaction anyhow. The lady actually serving us was great and did her best to smooth out the very awkward and uncalled for action by her coworker. When you work in a customer facing position, you either need to practice patience, or use your words. A quick, polite ask wouldn't have bothered me at all, and instead we kicked off Christmas on a sour note.

I go to kafe merc almost every day 🩵 i love the people and environment so much. The turnovers are TO DIE FOR and they make delicious coffee. LGBTQ+ friendly and the owners are very nice people. When I think of my perfect kind of day, it always starts with a trip to Kafe Merc. Easily can turn my day around when I get a latte and turnover from KM🩵

I always feel comfortable here. The baristas treat you like a human and will give suggestions and ask how your day is going. The food and coffee is always so delicious and made to order.

Not good. I don’t think they know what avocado toast is supposed to be. It was dry, stale, grocery store loaf bread that is barely toasted with no olive oil. Service was okay, not great.

Barista's are super friendly and get the drinks and food put quick. They are always packed. The store front offers locally made merchandise and they care tremendously about giving back to the community. Cozy seating. Just gets a little packed and parking is a little crazy at the main location off Harrison and 26th but otherwise I also go to the south Ogden one and both locations are great👍

You should go here only if, you like it when the batista remembers your name, what kind of coffee you like, and a general feeling of community. Otherwise this isn't the place for you.

I stumbled on this unique kaffe house as I was scouting Ogden for trail heads. It’s buried in a lovely community of pretty little houses and it’s truly a community spot with peoples dogs and little girls in fairy and supper hero costumes. I have now idea how they got the zoning for it, but I am so glad they did. Food was great, coffee was generous and the vibe was perfect!

Love this place 💜 I come here to chat, draw, read, study. They have outdoor seating and indoor. Very cozy spot. The one thing tho is that the parking sucks haha but other than that’s it’s the bomb 💣

Went for a hike today in the mountains and wanted to cap the morning off with a celebratory drink. Found this gem of a coffee shop. Delicious drinks! My wife had an extra hot matcha and I had a pumpkin cream cold brew. Both were fantastic! The bacon quiche with avocado was ridiculous. Almost went up and bought the remaining portions to take home! Tons of seating, plenty of outdoor shaded seating too!

Love this place and have lived up the street for years. The baristas are always nice and the drinks are always good however this last year the inside of the Merc has been unbearably hot. I can tell it gets to the workers and the guests! This just started this year and has kept me from wanting to stick around or come in. Hoping they get a new AC soon. Other than that its a great place !

Quality food, lackluster presentation, simply ordinary. The old world ambiance is nice. However, furnishings are well worn.

Their breakfast sandwiches are so good!! We go almost every Sunday when I'm off work just for the breakfast sandwiches. They have great customer service, everyone is so nice. Definitely keeps me coming back for more!

OMG! Are you kidding me! This place has the best coffee. Look I'm not exaggerating I like good coffee, I only DRINK good coffee. No sugar no fancy stuff. Just a straight latte. Since the coffee I drink is just coffee and milk I can tell YOU with 100% assurance that this IS the best coffee in town. And the decaf is "water decaf" so your good there too. KEEP UP THE AMAZING SERVICE and great food

Favorite coffee shop in Ogden! Lots of seating, and a beautiful outdoor space with plenty of shade. The staff are pretty incredible too — always kind and personable.

This is a wonderful place. The staff are wonderfully friendly even on a holiday they're working. The lattes are fabulous and they have whole beans and ground for sale in both varietals and unusual flavors like Horchata. They make a terrific breakfast sandwich that includes spinach and tomatoes, and I'm sure their other offerings are just as good. Inside, there is lots of light, great music that isn't too loud, and beautiful and thoughtful art on the wall. Outside has lovely spots outside to enjoy the day, and if that would distract you, they also have library-style carrels that have their own power.

Cozy lil neighborhood cafe, great convenient spot for a cup of coffee or chai latte. Food options are a lil limited, especially if you're looking for vegetarian options, but overall a pretty great spot. Parking is limited to street parking but they do have a bike rack for ppl like me.

Literally down the street from my house. A nice little walk with the dog (who is always welcome) as great place to meet a friend for real coffee and the city's best avacado toast. It's like ypu have stepped into a coffee shop in the movies! Makes you feel good to buy local.

After having flown back into state on a redeye flight I figured I'd hit up a cup of coffee and get a bite to eat. I didn't exactly want Starbucks so I went a little out of the way to visit. Overall it was rather pleasant! Nice and cozy inside, though a touch cold. The coffee and sandwich I bought were nice, save it be the grey avocado which I was a little turned off by. Off went most of the poor avocado, but alas we pressed on. The sandwich was still good and my coffee was enjoyable!

Big vibes at Kaffee Merc! Being Ogden born and raised now residing in Denver, CO. This is a must visit when I come home. Sunrise toast and coffee were a great combo to waken my morning. Service is friendly and genuine.

This place is fantastic! It is so cute and has such a good energy. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had from the toast to matcha lattes to regular ground coffee to brew at home. This is a great place in the neighborhood

I usually give this place a 5 star review. However I was really disappointed yesterday. My friend and I came in for a coffee. And the man working was not friendly. He rushed us ( it was not busy) , & our coffee was wrong. My friend's coffee wasn't hot it watered down. I was very disappointed and felt like I wasted my money..

The service here is awesome, very welcoming and friendly and they were fast as well! Such a homey atmosphere. The avocado toast with peanut butter is a MUST HAVE !!

This place was adorable and the staff was friendly. I didn’t love the taste of the coffee we got however, but it may be due to the flavor choices we selected. I’ll be returning to try it again and try other menu items for a more rounded experience.

I absolutely loved this place and had breakfast here twice during my visit to Ogden. They have a great selection of light breakfast/brunch options and the coffee is delicious. I'm also not normally a fan of lots of branded merchandise, but their branding and style is pretty great. This time I decided to save some cash, but next time I visit I'm not sure I'll be able to resist. Keep up the great work! 👍

Kaffe Merc is everything you wish you had in a neighborhood coffee shop, and then some. The building itself is super cute and there’s plenty of room inside to sit and enjoy your coffee, the vibes are immaculate, the people are friendly, and the coffee is great. They also have a variety of merch for sale and local art for sale as well as packaged coffee to take home. They use Caffe Ibis Coffee from Logan, and it’s one of the reasons I started going here but the overall experience is why I’ve remained a customer, it’s always great!

Kaffe Mercantile is a great place to get some coffee and relax. They sell Cafe Ibis coffee which is honestly my favorite brand of coffee. The atmosphere is warm, and relaxing with some good tunes. The aroma from the coffee will wrap around you and will make you want to try all the coffee selections. Be sure to stop in and enjoy a brew.

Weekday morning shift is more often than not a lot nicer. Tends to be the same girls aside from a day or two where there’s someone different. With them - I don’t have to ask for a fork. I don’t feel rushed while ordering, as in they make sure to write everything down no matter how busy. Not just putting the cup down within seconds when I’m not even done ordering. Even ask how I like my drink, offering suggestions if unsure.They even remember me after coming in a few times in a row. One knew my order despite not being the usual cashier I see. All seem to enjoy their job. On the occasion that I stop by in the late afternoon - can be night & day. Sometimes great but can be impatient, forgetful and just seemingly irritated. Even while not busy

One of my favorite local coffee shops. Parking is all street parking, but I prefer to walk here as many other neighbors do. The drinks are solid and they have a limited food menu when you're craving a little something with your coffee. The best part of this coffee shop is the atmosphere: from the sometimes-heated patio with cozy blankets to the backyard with large trees for shade, this is just a really nice place to spend an hour. The fact that it's nestled into the neighborhood just makes it that much better.

The lavender latte was amazing. The lemon bar was a perfect balance of sweet and sour, I would recommend coming here

The coffee that I got was not to my liking, sorry this is a great spot for everyone in the neighborhood to take the dog for a walk grab some coffee and visit, on my next visit I will try and order something more to my liking but I did try a specialty flavore and a double I will try the same with a single. I will bet money I like it....
