Bartender didn't know how to make a G&T. Hummus was ok, nothing special.

Wow 🤩! The view is splendid. The food is excellent, the drinks 🍹 are very good and the service impeccable! Well done 👏 to the whole team! I'm satisfied!

We had reservations through Open Table but it was not showing up on their system for some reason, I showed them the email confirmation we had to wait to get seated. Ambiance is ok nothing over the top, if you are looking for a chill place this is it. Food and drinks are excellent! Our server was nice but she took a lot of time to tend to us and she could barely speak and undestand english. I did not like the fact that you have to pay for hookah separately and also the restaurant charges a 10% for kitchen fee that they do not tell you until they bring your check.

Disappointing! We ordered the mixed grill and it did not bring the meats that it is supposed to include. Practically one person could eat the dish with so little meat there was.

As far as a dining establishment it is perfectly fine. In fact quite good food. However.....as a Muslim man it bothers me that food is advertised as "Halal" in a non Halal environment. Halal is a religious term and is basically being used as a buzz word to get western people to eat there. Shame in them and they should fear Allah, using a religious term to make money while doing everything else haram. This place is in no way "Halal" for a muslim to dine at. Why say Halal food if there half naked people, alcohol, and music playing with very explicit language? Just call it middle eastern food and be done. Muslims who travel from other areas have no idea that Halal food doesn't also mean Halal environment......

Halal food yes. Halal environment no. Trying to find Halal food and being from out of town, on Labor Day was rough. We searched Halal Food and came here. Food was great but very pricey.. and it was so hard to enjoy anything over the extremely loud hip-hop/rap music with tons of *n words and *b words to make it uncomfortable for me atleast. They serve alcohol and hookah.. very not halal... There is also a pool so open swimming is happening. So it was a strange mixture.. We wanted to eat and leave. Just wanted to share for the pious Muslim.. it's not that kind of place.

There is always room for improvement but I had a decent time at the venue.

Everything was great Hatim took care of our experience from the beginning to the end, in very glad we can find places like this that take you to another PLACE…

Marielyn, was an "Outstanding" server last night to us last night she provided a great conversation while providing great customer service to us. What a very nice place the food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful a must try!

The food was cold, not very good! The mojito is delicious, it's just that it's in a plastic cup, we didn't like the pasta for children, the service was a bit bad, they didn't give us cutlery and if we didn't ask for it they wouldn't give us, the view 10/10, the water is a good Saratoga brand … I would go back just to have a few drinks and spend some time talking with good company, music 10/10!

The food and the view of this place is spectacular. Without a doubt, a wonderful place to watch the sunset and have a sharing with the couple, friends and family. The flavor and variety in the food is very good. Just a recommendation to keep in mind, perhaps for cultural reasons, they never picked up the dishes or those we were finishing. It is good that they clean and pick up the glasses and plates as the customers finish. Everything else was very good. The food and view of this place is spectacular. Without a doubt a wonderful place to watch the sunset and share with your partner, friends and family. The flavor and variety in the food is very good. Just a recommendation to keep in mind, perhaps due to cultural issues, they never collected the dishes or those that we were finishing. It is good that they clean and collect the glasses and plates as the clients finish. Otherwise everything was very good.

Everything I ate was delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant, the second drink of the liquor mix was super different from the first, I didn't like it, I left it almost complete. I would return for the food and the atmosphere, especially at night

I went with high expectations about the place, when we arrived, we found the news that there is no parking, only valet parking service. We asked if there was any special event as we heard quite loud music, they said no and welcomed us. Upon entering the hotel we met a very intimidating man (with bulletproof vest, visible weapons and other objects unknown to me). When we went up to the place it was 6:00 pm and it was quite messy and empty, “the host” with a very bad presentation and not very friendly told us that they had a private event “a pool party and each of us had to pay 30 dollars just to enter.” ”. We made the decision not to stay, not because we had to pay the entrance fee, but because of the poor service, from the parking lot to the host, we considered that there were no reasons to pay them and if that was how the treatment had been, from the beginning, we were not We didn't want to imagine the attention or the food

Today is my husband's birthday, I booked two weeks in advance, we arrived and it turns out that there was a private event and they never told me anything, what an unpleasant moment and what irresponsibility, we are a group of 10 people who were eager to share in this place and they surprised us with this!

The vibe was so cute! Mercedez helped us both times we visited! She told us she was new but the service and attention to us was so amazing! We can’t wait to visit her again! Definitely a keeper!

Food was all right but we got done big time as staff served us has serious problem understanding plain English , we asked her before placing order she said yes and our bill was added 20% on top of bill , we were charged ridiculously high will not recommend to anyone so whoever wish to visit them please do check their hidden charges otherwise you will also get a large bill like us

Great time, food, environment, and hookah.

Walked in for a reservation. We were lead to a dirty table and had a wait for it to be cleared and cleaned. While we waited a couple next to us shared their experiences. The restaurant was understaffed. There was a long wait for ordering and the food was not worth staying for. They proceeded to tell us that it was overpriceds and her husband‘s meal was substituted without asking; needless to say we did not stay. Which was unfortunate because it’s such a beautiful space you can see the whole city from the rooftop

Great view and delicious food, but the service needs to be improved. We got there at 6:00 p.m. and ended up leaving at 8:30 p.m.! We spent too much time waiting for service.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday at Kala and we loved it, the atmosphere was super nice, the DJ played excellent music, we loved the drinks, the Mojito is 10/10, we loved the food, the starters and main courses were excellent, they have a variety of drinks and the evening was unforgettable, the manager of the establishment is an incredible person and the girl who served us gave us impeccable service. Thank you very much for everything and it is on the list of places to visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10. I was also able to bring my cake and they celebrated me with the DJ. Excellent 😄😄❤️ seeing the sunset in that place has no comparison, it is really beautiful.

The food was delicious! Service could be better. For a place that needs reservation, the service is average. We had to wait for our table and it was not even ready when they walked us to it. Food was completely worth the wait. However, the atmosphere is not what we expected, I will not bring my kids there. Is more like an adult/party environment.

Listen at night this place is a vibeeeee!! My fiancé and I went there just for drinks and the sunset and the drinks and desert we ordered was so good. The Dj was on point with the music, but the view is just breathtaking. The infinity pool is beyond gorgeous, and the couches are very big and comfortable, we will definitely be back. Thanks for having us!

First time here - entrance from the elevator was blah, empty brown box on couch - We get to the entrance ask if we had a reservation, we said no ask if we could sit at the bar and was told no it’s full while there were two open spots. The pool looked cloudy and the place looked disheveled. We gladly went else where.

Personally the food lacked a lot of season. But overall everything was good

Just went for drinks. $50 for 2 bar gon and tonics. Ouch! Nice view. Didn't go back.

Our Dinner was AMAZING!! Our server was Rana, It was our anniversary she made us feel special, the view was beautiful we arrived at 8pm perfect summer time to watch the sunset. Even though she was our server, I would say that the entire staff came over to make sure we were having a nice evening. The lamb is excellent, and to finish we thought about ordering dessert and they kindly brought us two desserts courtesy of the house. We live in Orlando and we had never been, I don't know why. Obviously we would return again!

Went on a date night with my husband here recently. The rooftop is located on the top of Cambria hotel near Universal. There is also an Indian Restaurant on the main floor called Tamara. The Ka La restaurant was interesting to say the least. There was an infinity pool that closes at 6pm which was in the main center of the restaurant. We went because we saw an amazing TikTok review and we generally enjoy middle eastern food. Made a reservation, we were seated very quickly and attended very quickly. Our server was Rainia (sp?), she was so attentive, sweet and helpful. She informed us that the kitchen could be slow due to the hotel guests as well and we should place our orders in early. Though the food took a while to come out, we were constantly checked on by the hostess, management and server which was a bit much but definitely appreciated. They were very gracious and kind. The food in my opinion was tasty, portions were ok for sharing (we had the mix grill). The views were ok if you like the tourist universal feel. It was a great experience but something I probably won't do again. We were informed that new management was in place and many changes were forthcoming. I'm glad that there's an effort to serve and gain traction. All in all, it was a pleasant time. Drinks were ok. Customer service was a 5 all the way.

The place is an amazing spot for a couple drinkd. Definately the service was really bad they took almost 2 hours for my food and they brought me a burnt chicken kabab, I'm not recommended to eat here. For fotos and drinks 100%

I recently dined at Ka La Rooftop Lounge , and it was marvelous! The rooftop views were stunning, and the diverse menu offered delicious, The kebab was out of this world with it's spiciness, amazing flavorful Arabian dishes and salad. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. 10/10, highly recommend!

Very sad, I'm leaving! A beautiful view but I think they changed the administration, the menu is bad the terrible attention wait for an hour and 45 minutes! And they didn't bring me anything, just the cocktails! I left because I wasn't going to wait any longer! The place and the view is beautiful but in attention "0%"

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience, an hour and a half of waiting, they only brought the drinks to the table, they have excellent marketing but it is misleading, the website menu is not available, after so much waiting we had to ask that they canceled the dishes that were not even ready, the tables were dirty, the customer service must improve. The view is beautiful but they are wasting the place with the service.

My boyfriend and I went to celebrate his birthday after all the positive comments we saw, but to begin with we had a reservation at 8 and they didn’t have tables which I can understand it’s busy but put me in a table that was very un comfortable just to push us in is even worse. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food which was raw/ uncooked and cold. And not just that they brought out one plate and 10 minutes later the other. I’m no server but common sense is to bring the food all at the same time. All I liked out of all was the Coca Cola I dranked in a plastic cup . Like seriously.

Terrible service, terrible food. The wait was two hours, the only good thing was the view., neither recommend it nor would I go again. A chopped lettuce, baby tomatoes and 2 pieces of feta portion like kids meal and costs $12:99, pasta with meatballs . cooked pasta with tasteless ragu sauce and the wait for me 1:45 for the food and 2 hours for the pasta a child's dish that is supposed to be the first to serve.my rate is 1%

A nice place, but they need to improve the service, when I orsered my drinks it took 45 minutes , the drinks are not consistent, when I ordered the second one it didn't look or tasted anything like the first one they gave me, the atmosphere of the place is very good but they need better organization, the bartenders and servers are all over the place . I would recommend a tablet system where the servers can input the order while at the customer table and the bar and kitchen get the order immediately [this will cut time in half), that way the server does not have to walk back and forth and be able to go to next table its exhausting and time consuming. The manager needs to be as nice to his employees as he is with the clientele.

At first when I walked in it wasn’t very busy so we had fast service we came in during the afternoon and stayed till night the food was very good great service and the owner David was very polite and gave us a free dessert for my cousins birthday the view was gorgeous, I got the chicken sandwich the chicken was so tender and juicy and the fries with is was seasoned perfectly, the owner helped us through the menu as it was are first time it got more busy during the night but I really recommend this place.

Nice view, nice vibe , but food was almost 2 hours wait. Honestly ...food cold after the wait . Unacceptable

If you want a spot for late night photos and conversations. This is a good spot but the food was horrible! My friend and I got the lamp chops ($35) you would expect a big nice juicy lamp chop but no they came out with mini BURT lamb chops… The rice was also overcooked. The food is do NOT recommend.
