I love this place, it’s hands-down my favorite Chinese spot in the area. My bf and I order from here regularly with no complaints, and we always do takeout. Affordable dinner and lunch combos - the two of us can eat for under $25 and be stuffed, which is great these days. Our faves include: wonton soup, sweet n sour chicken, chicken w/broccoli, boneless spare ribs, general Tso’s chicken, and their egg rolls. I’ve had a few things I haven’t enjoyed, but that’s more me trying to be adventurous than any fault of theirs lol. The food is always hot, quick, well-packed, and tasty!

The bourbon chicken was awful! So tough and chewy! Dry dry dry. Been coming here over ten years, and this is now how the food is. So not impressive at all. 👎

I used to visit this place for 10 years when it was GREAT!. What happened to it? The food is bad, overprice, bad service. I heard they sold it and this new people don't have a clue about asian food. I ordered shrimp fried rice and low mein fried rice and asked for a dollar extra of shrimp and the lady asked me what you mean you want dollar more shrimp extra so shrimp are so small I give you 3 more shrimps with the order I said no way just dont put extra nothing...........bad rice, bad low mein, few shrimp with both order and no more

Food is great 95 percent of the time. Every now and then they have an off day. But rare. I don’t ever eat here. Always get it to go. That General tsos is really good !

The entire team and the lady taking my order is incredibly rude. Never been here before and they are incredibly abrasive and disrespectful to customers. I haven’t even received my order yet and I’m commenting from the lobby awaiting my food. If this is what I can expect from the service, I don’t have high hopes for the food quality.

Fried chicken wings was burned, and (small) most likely it was due to old oil or refrying old wing.it pretty hard to mess up rice and chicken 🍗.

These guys uses to be great but it seems like the old owners sold it and it's really gone down hill. We stopped going here because the food quality dropped so much, but my parents kept going and they finally stopped after three bad experiences of forgetting food they ordered, giving them the wrong food and the last straw was finding one dish had snowpeas with what looked like black mold on them.

This place used to have decent food. My last few orders have gotten worse and worse.. no more Kangs for me ..

I love the Chinese food here. Been going for years. Coming from NY. It is very hard to find great Chinese here in Florida. This place is great.

Used to be fantastic. Food is totally different and not in a good way. Will give it one more shot. 10 minute order was 50. The shop is in disrepair, sign is dilapidated, door closure is broken, the floors are dirty.

DO NOT EAT HERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. Kang's Garden was our go-to for Chinese for over 15 years. They have changed ownership and it really shows. The dishes are not prepared the same at all. Prices are much higher and quality is lower. Our last order was given to another customer by mistake (this would never happen before). They were rude to my son when he arrived to pick up the order. He waited while they hastily made the order again with no apology. The order was so disappointing. Chicken with green peppers and onions was literally just a box of onions. Terrible. Sadly, we won't be ordering from here any more. UPDATE 4/26/23 RESPONSE TO OWNER: Your quality is not upheld, your food is not good. Serving portions were terrible, nothing like we've come to expect. You were RUDE to my son after YOUR MISTAKE. You did NOTHING to ADDRESS MY CONCERNS. As a matter of fact you stated "we're sorry for losing your business.". I've never seen such an unworthy response to a long time customer who shared an honest review. You will not be in business long with this low quality food and poor customer service.. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!

Food was very good, they even gave us double vegetables instead of rice. Service was quick and courteous, but they have to clean the floors and windows. It will be more inviting.

Very good flavor. I got the shrimp and broccoli w fried rice. The fried rice wasn’t as flavorful as I would’ve expected tho but acceptable.

Does Kang’s have a new owner? I ask because It’s just not as good as it used to be the last few times I’ve gone. Rice is different. The egg rolls are smaller. The beef is in little strips now and tastes different. It’s not inflation… their prices have gone way up to accommodate that. Has to be new owners with new recipes. Chef Li is a little further, but that’s where I will have to go moving forward. 😭😭😭

Food has consistently been good and it's the only Chinese restaurant order from in Oldsmar.

Unfortunately, I've gotten sick the past two times I've eaten here. Not sure if food poisoning or my body doesn't react well to the food, but I have no known food allergies. Food was oily and lacked flavor. If the owners are reading, please try and improve. I don't normally leave critical reviews, but this is too much.

Portions are considerably less then in past ... Good thing cause it wasn't good. No flavor with anything ... It all tasted the same. Left with a MSG coated mouth was the only thing I tasted with what little I ate of it. I understand cutting costs in these times, but not when the entire meal is ruined.

Best chinese take out in Tampa!

Just recently moved to this side of town and this was then closest Chinese place by my house and it was definitely worth it !!! I was impressed on how fresh the veggies and also the food had good taste , it is a little greasy but no different then any other Chinese fast food place I’ve had before. Definitely recommend.

Real good Chinese food NYC style !!

I love this takeout restaurant! It’s the best Chinese takeout I’ve tried since moving here and it’s VERY affordable. One dinner combo could definitely feed two people. The food is consistently good no matter what I order. My new go-to place

LOVE this place. When we lived in Westchase this was our go to spot for consistently good Chinese food. We'd been going here for six years when we noticed another Chinese food spot opened in the same shopping center. Two years after that, the competitor closed, because it was no match for Kang's Garden. The big win, is for my wife, who has food allergies including soy and gluten. Other places weren't as safe, but she never has any problem here. The Singapore Noodle is the best and it's both soy and gluten free!!! We moved to Odessa about two years ago and tried several other local restaurants. There's even one place we can walk to. But after a bunch of so-so experiences, we now drive 20 minutes to Kang's Garden when we want our fix of Chinese food.

I've been ordering from here since I've moved here in 2002. The food and service have been amazing and quick and very professional. All these folks saying it's subpar or the food is not good must be living in their own world. Have never had any issues and this place is rated one of the best and top choices within westchase for Chinese takeout. That alone says alot. Though I will say with covid-19, they had to change up how they do things, not only for cost bit also on how you interact with them. This has not done anything to the quality of the food at all. People are just very picky apparently.

Very good Chinese food in Westchase. In the Publix shopping center. They are always extremely fast in preparing the food and it is always made fresh.

They serve too much leftover food for the Lunch Special. I can tell the difference from when it's fresh and when it's just been reheated.

There is another Chinese restaurant closer but I like the taste here better.

Good food! Quick and easy pickup. Parking lot isn't the greatest. There's a number of restaurants that share the lot....available parking spots can be scarce.

The fried chicken wings and Krab Rangoons are amazing! Definitely one of the best Chinese carryout places I have eaten.

It is our favourite take out place. The shrimp rolls and crab Rangoon are the best I have ever eaten. We enjoy many great dishes here.

We're glad we found Kang's. Good food close to home. (We used to go further for a place not quite as good.) Tasty pork dumplings and pork lo mein. We've even ordered to take out when we have guests and everyone always likes it. :)

Really good Chinese food. Crab Rangoon is excellent, Egg Rolls are very tasty, Sweet & Sour sauce is great if you like a sweet taste. General Tso was a little bland, but good. Dinner combo Chinese with entree, rice, egg roll and soup.

I have been going to this place for years!! They have the best steamed dumplings in town!! they are also SUPER FAST (it only takes less than 10 mins every time) and chicken and broccili is TO DIE FOR!! Don't waste your time anywhere else , seriously you'll regret not going to Kangs Garden!!

Always fast and delicious. The crab rangoons are by far the best in town, no, in the WORLD! We always get the rangoons, some pork fried rice (& if you don't want peas or lots of onions like us, they'll leave 'em out if you ask!), and a general tso's. And won't get it anywhere else! 我狠爱Kangs！
