This place needs a lot of attention to detail. Most people come for an experience, this is not the place. They served a cappuccino in a styrofoam cup and it tasted horrible with a weird aftertaste. If you want good coffee, there are plenty of other choices.

Cuban bread tasted like sourdough, cafe con leche was also lacking. As someone whose background is Cuban, I wouldn’t say this is authentic. On the upside the coffee and toast came out very hot and fresh.

A very nice and fairly priced food establishment. Besides outstanding Cuban coffee, they have an array of all day menu items. From quesadillas, omelets, and burritos, to their iconic Cuban sandwiches. You owe it to yourself to stop at this cafe while visiting key west.

Yummy coffee and guava and cheese empanadas. We did not get a chance to try the food but i am sure it would be real good. We just loved the cortadito.

The inside doesn’t look like much, but the coffee and food are delicious! One of the few Cuban coffees that had me buzzzzinggg because it was so strong 🤩 the ropa vieja with the tortilla and salsa verde were amazing! Great, consistent spot with a ton of choices for everyone including vegetarians ❤️

This is the best Cuban food I’ve had—even after visiting Cuba! The owner is incredibly sweet and made the coffee shop feel like home. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. We even booked a hotel just to wait until the shop opened the next day. I was beyond impressed—the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back soon! What a perfect way to end my birthday trip.

Absolutely delicious! I will give it 10 stars if I could! The owner does it all, she’s the hostess and waitress and comes and visit you at each table. She took pictures for us. She was so kind and helpful. The food was. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Off the beaten path, a little bit, not in the main part of town, but definitely worth it.

Had to edit my five star review upon my fifth visit. Great place, but when I asked for hot sauce instead of being given Cholula or Tabasco I was given a small cup of green chile sauce. No worries. Yet, when I went to pay they charged me $3 for it. Wha? That's a gouge. Rethink this KWCC. Your prices are already higher than comparable places. Love it. Super strong delicious coffee. Great breakfast food. Wonderful service. I think one of the women fell in love with me because she kept calling me "mi amor." Been back 3x in two weeks.

Key West Cuban Coffee is an absolute must when traveling in Key West! Right in the heart of the city, we enjoyed incredibly delicious Cuban sandwiches and wonderfully strong coffee. The taste was authentic and reminiscent of the Caribbean joy of life. What is particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the people there - we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home.

Stayed in a Airbnb a couple doors down and stumbled upon this place! Best iced cafe con leche I had in Key West in a couple years. The tostones are the best I have ever had and their guava cheese empanadas are baked to order I am pretty sure! Lobster in picture was caught and cooked by me but we needed sides!

Absolutely love this place. It’s our morning daily coffee stop anytime we are in key West. The owner is the biggest sweetheart I’ve ever known and you can feel her hospitality the moment you walk in.

Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant/cafe! The owners and staff are gracious and kind and will explain menu items to gringos, like the wife and I. Also, EVERYTHING is made there, no carting in food items from other vendors (which we see often around here). We’ve enjoyed, breakfast, lunch, and dinner here over the years and we’ve never been disappointed. Also, as coffee addicts, my wife and I cannot recommend the various Cuban coffee drinks enough. We go out of our way to visit this place…! In short, it’s FANTASTIC, all of it, no kidding.

I cannot say enough great things about this amazing coffee, Cuban food spot! My husband and I found it a few years ago on our 2nd visit to the Keys. It was a tiny shack! To our surprise this go-round we hunted it down and they’ve expanded. We have had coffee there twice, breakfast and dinner. The food is AMAZING, fresh, flavorful and made with love. If you’re walking by and wondering if it’s good, yes absolutely walk in!! It’s the BEST in Key West! Everything about it! You can’t go wrong! Enjoy!

I travel a bunch to Miami for work and have been to Cuba several times. This place does it better or on par with the best I’ve had. Whatever they got going on here I wish I could bring back. 10/10 make an effort to stop here, fresh quality food in generous portions at a competitive price

Cuban sandwich was the best we have had and we have tried many locations around Florida.

Our first visit-- Mojo pork quesadillas and Steak burrito were both delicious. The pork was especially moist and tasty.

Wanted some authentic Cuban sandwich but only had something called Cuban mix ( adding lettuce and tomato), so I tried it out. It was pressed down on the bread. Wasn't what I was looking for on looks and taste. Just okay. The appetizer I ordered was ham croquettes( not pictured), fries. White and beans, mochacchino( not pictured) tasted more like chocolate milk than mocha coffee. Just wished there was something for young kids besides fries and white/beans. Like a separate kids menu. Wish the price of food was reasonable. Overall, if one visits key west expect everything to be pricey.

Fantastic!!! As soon as i walked through the doors I knew that this place was a great find. The vibe is amazing with the Cuban music playing and colorful artwork gracing the walls. Carolina greeted us with a beautiful smile and good morning. And the food!!! Just wow. I wanted to order everything on the menu. For breakfast I enjoyed a delicious burrito with homemade chorizo. The verde sauce was also so flavorful. Others in my party raved over the empanadas and omelette. Everything was served with love and care. We’re coming back for more deliciousness tomorrow !!

My Palomilla Steak sandwich was mostly gristle. A few pieces of meat in the sandwich I got tasted good. Burrito my son had given him major diarrhea.

Cuban mix was crappy and neither sandwich were made with Cuban bread ..palomilla steak sandwich was very tough it definitely wasn’t Palomilla … 40$ on 2 crappy sandwiches and a cafe con leche that wasn’t drinkable had to throw it away … Hard to find places where the people actually take pride in their food…

Very warm hosts and a phenomenal Cuban Burger 🍔 (the meat is generous - half and half - and you can taste every component. I can also highly recommend the cafe con leche.

Stopped in looking for Cuban food and wasn't disappointed. The Cuban sandwich was phenomenal and I was very excited to try an arepa for the first time. The arepa is under the "starters" part of the menu but it's definitely a meal by itself!

Horrible service . We went to have breakfast at this place. We went in waiting to b seated and lady at the front counter ( standing there , doing nothing) saw us and didn’t say anything.. after standing for few mins we seated ourselves in the table and it was not cleaned. We waited for 5 mins again and went to counter again to ask to clean the table. Then she came back after 5 mins and just dropped the menu on table. We were ready to order and the same lady who is just looking at us dint care to come take the order even after 10 mins.(Other tables were already been taken care of). We had to wave at her to let her know we were ready. She came to take order and dint even look at our face the whole time while taking order ( for coffee we were saying 2 sugar and she was staring outside) . She was grumpy the whole time. Ordered sweet plantain in appetizer but that wasn’t served. Food tastes good .. but if u wanted to be treated like u were served food for free , u can go to this place. Only cuz of that lady , we felt like we have leave the place immediately.

You should go for breakfast and again for lunch! Cuban coffee is delicious and chorizo breakfast tacos are excellent only if 3 handmade chorizo tacos with handmade salsa verde sounds good…It’s definitely delicious! Cuban sandwich also excellent and highly recommend !! Must try if you’re anywhere nearby!!!

Mmm, mmm mmm! Just good, honest food. So good, in fact, that after breakfast, we went back for dinner. Breakfast - my breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, avocado, pork, rice, beans and salsa verde was just what I needed after being active and only having baked goods to eat the first couple of days. Later, I had fresh fish tacos that were sooooo tasty. My husband had the spicy shrimp and loved it. Did I mention the coffee? Dark, smooth, and rich Cuban coffee was so great, I had some with dinner too. Chill atmosphere, super nice people, and good prices too. Go try it!

Chose this spot for lunch based on the reviews for coffee and because they had a Cuban on the menu plus fajitas for my spouse. We finished disappointed. The service was less than lackluster. The waitress didn't speak much and never smiled or looked happy to be there. We ordered chicken fajitas - good portion of meat, but came with ONE small tortilla and no toppings, just rice! No pico, no lettuce, cheese, guac, nothing. We had to ask for another tortilla. Spouse reported the taste as very bland and nothing special. Also ordered the mojo pulled pork sandwich (basically a Cuban without ham) and it was tasty. A bit over pressed (basically a crisp instead of roll) but still tasted good. I added fries for a $3 upcharge and they ended up being two different types of fries mixed. My coffee was probably the biggest disappointment. The coffee wasn't freshly made for the latte, it was poured out of a jug. I ordered the caramel, cinnamon latte not realizing that each add in was another $1 plus I asked for almond milk which I expected an upcharge for. As a coffee connoisseur, this one sucked. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not strong, nor flavorful and at $9 (!!!!!!!!) I was utterly disappointed. Finally, the table rocked the whole meal and it was obnoxious.

The best key lime pie I and my wife had on our Florida trip! And we had a lot of them. The only pie that had small fragments of zest. Coffee was good too. I totally recommend this place!

We came here for brunch while staying in Key West. There was no wait for a table and service was fast. I ordered the Cubanito sandwich, as I love Cuban sandwiches but haven’t had an authentic one before. It was easily the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful and the other ingredients were fresh. Another member of our group ordered the same thing and loved theirs too. The others ordered the chorizo breakfast sandwich, which they enjoyed. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in Key West!

It was the worst store I've ever visited during my two-week trip to the U.S. I visited for coffee and the clerk was very unkind and didn't give a proper answer to my order.

A place that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but what a discovery! Large selection of Cuban or Mexican food (tacos, quesadilla, burrito, fajitas, burger, etc.). The dishes were very consistent, we were pleasantly surprised by the presentation. The meat was excellent, especially the stew. We ate really well for a reasonable price.

Great place for breakfast. We really enjoyed the cheese omelet with onions, tomatoes, bacon and salsa verde. We Also tried the cheese toast which was delicious loaf bread with melted cheese in the middle. Much like a grilled cheese but better. The Cuban coffee Cafe con Leche was very tasty strong coffee. We ordered ours without sugar so it is much like an espresso half milk. The place is small but clean and our servers were very attentive. Worth the visit and would return for sure. Of course we dug in before I remembered to take the pic but the serving size is more than enough.

This was our first time to come to key west. We were told you must try the Cuban coffee. My wife and I are so glad we did. The coffee here was amazing. Some of the best coffee we have ever had. We ordered the Cafe Con Leche. It had such a unique flavoring. No bitterness at all. Highly recommend stopping in.

Mais quelle surprise ! Nous avions faim et cherchions désespérément un endroit quand nous sommes tombées sur ce restaurant qui se révèle être un vrai trésor. L’accueil est incroyable et la cuisine je n’en parle même pas. Nous avons prit des quesadillas au pulled pork et ce sont sûrement les meilleurs que j’ai pu manger. C’est très simple, cela fait un mois que j’y suis allée et je ne m’en remets toujours pas. C’est une très belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter. La gérante vous fera vous sentir comme chez vous. Un grand merci car c’est de loin le meilleure restaurant que nous avons fait lors de notre séjour en Floride.

Excellent food and great service. A quaint little eatery with delicious food. The Cafe con Leche is outstanding and made to order. A great milky froth with the perfect amount of strong coffee. Some places don't make it strong enough, but here it's perfect. The Chorizo and eggs were tasty and came with the most flavorful beans & rice. I know everyone raves about the food at a local famous Cuban restaurant, but the food here was so much better. I highly recommend to anyone looking for flavorful Latin food.

The Chorizo Breakfast Burrito is absolutely incredible. I've had many, MANY, breakfast burritos, and I think this is the best I've ever had. Possibly the best breakfast in all of Key West, which is saying a lot, as I've had many exceptional meals here. DO NOT miss this! Also great coffee, and the nicest staff anywhere. I'll miss this place!
