I really loved this little restaurant. My husband and I felt like we went to a family member house to eat. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit again.

Rude owner. Small portions. There are better places with a more pleasant atmosphere, less judgmental and with air conditioning! Who needs to suffocate in a terrible environment while being belittled.

The portion I received was entirely too small. The customer service was terrible on top of the owner telling me he does not claim Guyana and Trinidad because we eat roti and he eats dumplings which is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. The owner was rude, the portion was small. The air conditioning was out and the women’s bathroom was not in service. Discrimination against another Caribbean country in 2024 was despicable and I will not be returning to deal with that nonsense. I spent over $70 to not have a pleasant experience. I have been dealing with Cliff from Jerk Center in Tarpon for two decades and never had a bad experience like I did here today.

Just amazing food and atmosphere

I don't normally do reviews but I must say being sick and wanted some home cooked meal from yard was what I craved on a hot and rainy day. Jam Rock crew was there to assist and let mentell you. That nice Ackee and Saltfish hit the spot! And it was in the middle of the week. I didn't have to wait till the weekend to order it. While I was waiting on my order I was able to sample some of his oxtail and curry goat with half white rice and half rice and peas dish and it was awesome! Let me tell you. The man can cook f9r sure! 4 stars. If there was more he would have gotten the highest stars available. Definitely my go-to Jamaican restaurant now. 😋

This place is a hidden gem! The food is awesome. Full of flavor! I had the curry chicken and it was very very good! Bob Marley pictures on the wall and Jamaican music playing. Owner is very nice. We will definitely be back!

A HIDDEN GEM FOR SURE! 10+ stars! I am so happy I came across this place, prices are reasonable, ambience is very laid back and chill but the best part is the amazing and delicious food! A winner for me🏆 6/6/24 I wanted to write a 2nd and third and fourth review but google said slow your roll, so I’m using my first one to tell everyone again this place is still winning! I come every week because I’m low key obsessed, the owner is the most kind and humble human being you can imagine AND his wife makes the most delicious mouth watering homemade pound cakes I have ever tasted! They don’t know yet but I will be adopting them soon :D

FINALLY!!! the food here is absolutely amazing! The service was great, atmosphere was welcoming and clean. I will be back weekly !! I had the curry goat and brown stew chicken and the meat was soooo soft and tender. Falling off the bone is an understatement.

Best Jamaican food in the tampa bay area. They always fill up my plate with food that reminds me of being home in the Caribbean. Their mac and cheese on Saturday slaps, service is incredible, and it’s good food made with love just like at home. I was going to post a picture of my plate but I ate it too fast.

Their motto is "Where spice meets paradise". I just realized this cool Caribbean Restaurant is located in Tarpon Springs. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is as authentic as the flavors. If you enjoy oxtail, snapper or even plantains give this place a try. They also have pound cake slices for dessert in several yummy combinations. They have delivery with Doordash and catering is available for special occasions. The Jamaican vibe is real at Keys Jam-Rock Grill.

I heard from a few people to check this place out. Then I heard from a native Jamaican that out of all the restaurants he has tried, this place makes him feel like he’s back home. I knew I had to check it out. I got a quick & warm welcome on my way in. I ordered the lunch special with jerk chicken and the flavor was on point. The chicken was juicy and the rice and beans and cabbage fantastic. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy more of the menu!

My husband and I tried Keys spontaneously for the first time and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing!!! It will definitely be added to our rotation of favorite restaurants.

Ordered the snapper to go and it was delicious, fed the body and soul! I didn’t leave a crumb of food left in the box. You can tell Key cooks from the heart. Absolutely Delicious Food! I found the place by accident waiting on Mango St to turn south on US 19. I brought some home to my husband too and he loved it as well. We have since been there a few times and usually bring it home. It is basic inside with decent tables if you do want to eat in. I love this place!

Attended a city function, and the food was supplied by them. Excellent! And I found out they are a mile or two from where I live!! Chicken, shrimp on skewers, and more! Will try them at their place next week! 😃

This is one of the best Jamaican restaurant in town. The owner and the cook is top-notch authentic food. We drove almost 2 hours every week. You'll never be disappointed with the food. The food is always fresh and the prices are reasonable. I would highly highly highly recommend it. Anybody who wants some good authentic Jamaican food. You'll never be disappointed, not in one bit.

The place is a bit of a dive, looks like a former pizza joint converted with Jamaican decor and color. Nice Jamaican beats playing, great service, and most importantly delicious food. I had the snapper, it was delicious. Give the place a try, you cannot go wrong.

The FOOD..... Fresh, cooked when ordered, taste amazing, portions outstanding, and truly jamacian. The owner is a kind soul that has a calm peace. Sounds odd that I would say this but... you will agree. We stopped in to try the food two weeks ago and have returned 4 times already.

Had the oxtail large plate. Loaded with oxtail. The rice and beans was so good. Not dry and the cabbage was cooked well. We also ordered a beef patty and a vegetable patty and they both was good.

I've been seeing the sign for Jamaican food for a while and I've been meaning to stop by. I'm so happy that my family had a chance and we were very pleased with our meals. If you're looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine, this is the spot! The oxtail is amazing! Also the jerk shrimp and fried dumplings were perfectly prepared. The jerk sauce is the best I've ever had. The curry goat is also very good. You really can't go wrong on the menu here. The service is also very friendly and they take the time to get to know you. We will definitely be back.

The best Jamaican food I’ve had. I purchased the oxtails, peas and rice and cabbage and all the food was very savory. The oxtails were so tender, they were falling off the bone. I couldn’t get enough of the peas and rice and cabbage, they were soooo good. My family traveled from Saint Pete to Tarpon Spring just the taste is great Jamaican food. Will definitely make that trip again. Also, they have slices of homemade cakes that are very good and moist, I had a hard time deciding which to go with, so I went a slice of the sweet potato cake.

The food is amazing!!! . I could tell that he is passionate about cooking food and sharing it. Before I walked out with my takeout he had me open up the trays and look at my food. When he did that I knew it was gonna be good! Everything was made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be ordering from here again. Just had the jerk chicken with plantains and a refreshing pineapple soda, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were on point, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. The plantains were sweet and caramelized, complementing the dish perfectly. Highly recommend!

We ordered Jerk chicken and Curry chicken. The taste was ok but certainly not enough seasoning. But all throughout the dish was tiny little bones. I mean every bite had pieces of bone. Very unpleasant. Sorry. I really wanted to like it but it's a No for us.

A rear find in Tarpon Springs for Jamaican meals. Succulent, fall off the bone ox-tail. Perfectly marinated curried goat pair with rice and peas. Spicy jerk pork and chicken. Many veggies choices.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and I have no regrets. The food is delicious and well portioned. We had the curry chicken and jerk chicken lunch specials and a rasta pasta. Will definitely be back once we are in the area.

I can't begin to explain how amazing Key's food is. This was our 2nd time visiting (and definitely not the last) My wife got the Snapper and I got the oxtail last visit and was phenomenal. Tried out the Jerk Shrimp and Chicken tonight and it was equally as amazing. My wife is very particular and she gave it a rare 10/10. The portions are huge, the spice is on point, and Key is super friendly and inviting. If you like Jamaican Food, or food in general, I can't argue strongly enough to make a trip and try this gem out.
