I had a delivery by Doordash so I can't rate the atmosphere but I can rate the service of my dasher KOA who was awesome. I'd give a 10+ I had a double dash and my food arrived hot and my milk ice cold. My food was absolutely delicious, so YUMMY!! It was so fresh and flavorful . It was my first time trying it. I've always done Chinese food but the pictures on the menu sold me and when I saw peanut sauce, I thought was in all Thai food ,wasn't I ordered. I got the chicken spring rolls, the traditional noodles with chicken and Thai fried rice with shrimp and it had pineapple chunks, EXCELLENT!! I will definitely be ordering again. My son really enjoyed it also!! Thank you.

The food here is amazing. They take quite some time to serve but it tastes great. The ambience is wonderful with nothing too fancy. The lighting was warm and comfortable with no annoying music. Good place to get some Thai food.

Service was really friendly and the food was good. I would definitely come back when I’m in Dover. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars: I ordered Thai Ice Tea and the price said $3, but I was charged $4. The menu should be corrected

Amazing Chicken Pad Thai, highly recommend. Never tried anything else, as that is too hard to pass up. Not always a fan of Pad Thai, but this place changed my mind on that.

I was driving through town and relied heavily on the reviews. They did not disappoint! Best Thai food I have had in a while. The cab rangoons had a delicious dipping sauce. I preferred it over the red sauce served at most Chinese restaurants. Fried chicken as a protein option should be the norm. It was great with the fried basil fried rice and massaman curry. I enjoyed it with a cup of hot thai tea. Just what I needed after a long day of driving. I hope to return one day.

I'm wondering if this place is still open. Web site is gone and Facebook hasn't seen a post for years! My last visit was disappointing because the Tropical Noodles didn't have a lot of the ingredients stated on the menu, particularly no scallops or mussels in the seafood option. I was told they were too expensive. In addition, there were no snow peas or baby corn that were listed in the menu. It's downright deceptive to leave the erroneous description in the menu. Not only were the scallops, mussels, snow peas and baby corn omitted, but the price was the same. Have not been back for almost two years because of this. And now it looks like they've closed. Update 1/30/24: The restaurant is still open. On the printed menu in the restaurant, "scallops" has been crossed out on the seafood option for the Tropical Noodles. On the Toast website, where the owner says the menu is up to date, scallops still appear as an ingredient. "Seafood (Shrimp, Scallop, mussel and squid)+$16.00" Visited the restaurant a few days ago and ordered the Tropical Noodles, Seafood option. It has 4 shrimp, 2 mussels, and a boatload of tough, chewy Squid tubes. It no longer has the baby corn or snow peas. The noodles are egg noodles and not what I remeber them to be in the past. I believe the dish included rice noodles before. The dish was nowhere near as sweet as it was before. Overall, what was an outstanding entree a few years ago has been remade into a rather blah stir fry dish.

We split the Crab Rangoon appetizer. He had the Crazy Noodles and I had a cup of Tom Yum soup. We both liked the appetizer, he loved his Crazy Noodles, but I wasn't crazy about the Tom Yum soup. It was better the previous time I had it -- the broth was off this time. Nice service and atmosphere. We got there in time to grab one of the cozy corner window tables.

I haven’t been in quite awhile and the pork dumplings had always been my favorite appetizer; fresh, fried perfectly and good size. My recent order of dumplings was still as tasty, but less than half the size of past orders, yet the same price. While everyone else is providing same size portions, but charging more. Khaophums is proving less and keeping the price the same. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've dined in here before, but tonight I ordered takeout. The eat in visit was pleasant as well, however, this time the food was memorable. I got thai veggie fried rice because I remember their portion size was great and it was all I really wanted. Our ticket also had spring rolls, and an order of chicken fried rice. I didn't taste the chicken fried roce myself, but my friend said it was excellent. I'm going to trust and honor that statement because my thai veggie fried rice was the best I've ever had; I've eaten a LOT of veggie fried rices in my day. 10 out of 10. I'm seone who often uses duck sauces to bring a little more life to my fried rice, but this time... I didn't want to sour perfection. Who ever was on kitchen tonight around 6:00, you've mastered that. The spring rolls though, phenomenal. Topping my once upon a time favorite found at China Yan (RIP). I was sad when it was cooling off because it meant I'd soon be too full to continue. Wonderful job, and I hope it remains so perfect consistently. 🥰 thanks for a wonderful dinner. 💕

Chicken basil fried rice extra spicy a favorite of mine ! Everything else very average

We got a take out order specifically for the pho soup. I drove out of my way to go here for the soup. After paying $82 for the food - and driving back 30 minutes - I discovered the pho soup (both) had nothing but broth / noodles and chicken. When I called to complain - I was told that the bean sprouts / basil leaves/ cilantro and other toppings were spoiled so none were added. Had I been told i would not have purchased the soup or at least I should have been told when I picked up the soup and / or not been charged full price. Unacceptable ! Tasted like dull soup.

I got a Thai tea, which I normally love, but left some in the glass and was pretty much making myself drink it. It just was not one of the most favorite ones I’d ever had. My husband got Pad Thai and he said he would give it about a three. Honestly, I was kind of surprised because they brought his out without mine and we had to sit there for 5 to 10 minutes for them to bring me mine, therefore, his had pretty much cooled down by the time I got my dinner. I don’t know that I’ve ever really had that happen at a restaurant for that length of time and I was really kind of shocked. There were several people picking up their orders, and they were taken care of, but I’m not quite sure why we weren’t brought our dinners at the same time or shortly apart. There was no explanation or apology for the different delivery times, and my husband’s dinner cooled down while waiting on my plate to get there. Overall, it wasn’t that great of an experience, but it wasn’t horrible. We were just glad to be out together and hoped to have some really good Thai food. I don’t think we’ll go there again.

Great place for having lunch that won't break your wallet. Food was delicious. I found it funny that spice level went from levels 1 thru 5, but it is pretty straight forward. I can handle spicy food but just to be safe I went with 3 and it was great. Definitely would come back!

Stumbled across this little gem as we were walking around Dover. We hadn't realized we were hungry until we smelled the delicious food. My companion had the crunchy chicken fried rice and I had the country style noodles. Both dishes were excellent! We also had some rangoons, crispy, flavorful and not at all greasy. We'll be back!

Khauphums has always been tops in my books. No other local Thai Restaurant could compare to the quality and authenticity of their food. I'm not sure if they changed ownership or chefs, but the last two times I have been there the food was not edible. It was so hot at a #3 that we could not eat it. There was no depth of flavor whatsoever. I sent it back only to have it returned with little to no liquid in the curry mixed with the vegetables and it was still not edible. My dinner friend had the same issue.I didn't eat the meal and the server kindly took it off my bill. That was the Dover location. The Exeter location has very inconsistent hours so I have not ordered often enough from there to make a fair assessment or give a balanced review. The fresh rolls that I have had in Exeter were very good, but the fresh rolls I had in Dover were too wet and fell apart. I make them at home and do a far superior job to what I experienced two weeks ago. I seldom leave a negative review, but I'm doing so to catch the owners attention so that they can make the necessary changes. I am a vegetarian and est Thai food all the time. Hopefully, things will improve and I can enjoy your restaurant some time again in the future.

The place is a joke, they are close on 3rd and 4th of July, but the google map says they are open and doordash order got placed and was ready to pickup. When got there for pickup, they are closed! This is the second time they failed to process the order, the first incident was that I placed order through doordash and showed up 10 mins late, and they didnt have my order and couldnt locate the existence of it although I was showing on my phone the order details. Very unprofessional and not worth the potential of time wasted. Dine in experience may differ, but not willing to test that out anymore.

So good we ordered another whole meal to take home.

Friendly lady in the front, small place, the food is great but it's pricey and sometime they're good sometime not( depending who's the chef I guess). Atmosphere not comfy cause lil dark and small and please makeover the places a little bit, maybe repaint brighter color on the wall?

Food was absolutely incredible. All I think about is when can I have it again.

My first time at Khaophums, a quick lunch but boy-oh-boy it was good. I tried and loved the red curry with fried tofu. 😋 I will be back!

Best food I've had all year and I'm writing this on Dec 1st. I got the crispy chicken mango curry and it was amazing. The atmosphere is relaxed and nice for eating in.

Best Thai I've ever had. Consistent and flavorful every time. I love the Basil Squid, it's my favorite. The Crab Rangoon is simply the best.

Food is decent, but beware the sneaky price increases! I ordered takeout by phone from the physical menu, and when I picked it up and paid I found that the prices had increased from what’s listed on the menu. NBD, inflation, yada yada, so I get a new menu. A couple months later we order again and I find the prices went up AGAIN, and this time they hadn’t even updated their paper menu, so they are displaying and giving out a menu with cheaper prices than what they will actually charge you. I’m not going back, especially since they are pricey to begin with.

Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. I love Thai food and try it everywhere I go but nothing else has compared. Nida has amazing recipes and everything is made fresh. The only place in the area that I've found that doesn't mix frozen vegetables (like peas and carrots) into their dishes. By far the BEST crab rangoons ever. The basil fried rice is my favorite.

I tried this place on a whim with my fiance and I have to say we haven't looked back! So far every dish I have I tried I've loved. Their crab rangoons are the best in Dover. My fiance lpves their spicy chicken wings and pinapple create your own. The fried ice cream is incredible as well! Overall, I couldn't ask for a better place. The waitress is always so nice and welcoming as well.

Fantastic flavor and creativity. Preparation and execution is satisfactory and i felt rather satisfied with my order. Pad Thai with pork and Vegetables is what i began with. Crispy duck, spring rolls, dumplings steamed and fried and mini bite size goons...all prepared neat and consistently. This place is fresh. It was a decent experience. Recommended indeed.

Amazing food. We are on vacation and have been disappointed by the majority of the places we ate (including a different Thai place) but this place was fantastic. My daughter and I love Thai food and eat it at least once a week and have tried it from many different places and states. I was so pleased here and wish I lived locally because we would eat here all the time. The service was also very great. I recommend the sample appetizer.

Eaten here many times. Delicious 😋 Tried something new tonight, mango curry. They have healthy options and you can sub white rice for brown. To say the mango curry was Devine is an understatement. Rice was very fresh and fluffy with a perfect texture.

Worst and rudest customer service ever in this town. The server was a temper women and she has no patience to answer our questions. After complaining about the fried ice cream somehow people from kitchen came up and literally said to go out from the restaurant and do not come again. Are you kidding me! We were polite and wanted to grill them with this review. I hope google must come up with some ideas to teach lessons to these people who are rude at their customer service.

A very cozy atmosphere delivers the absolute best fried tofu I’ve ever had! The massaman curry was fresh and delicious, mild on the spice, letting the other flavors work in harmony with the dish. Highly recommend, I need more excuses to eat here!

We went in for an early dinner around 4 pm. we ordered 2 appetizers, they were great. We then ordered two meals ($14 a piece). The two dinners both had veggies and chicken (chicken was fried for each dinner plate). The chicken was over cooked, dark outer to it. one of two things went wrong! They were not paying attention and the chicken spent to much time in the frialator OR the fryer's oil was OLD either was the chicken on both plates were dark, chewy, the meet was gross. we told the wait staff but there was no change to our bill witch was not cheep! I do not mind paying for good food and good service, but also expect the establishments to own up to mistakes when they are made! And Khaophums I did not. they were all laughing all laughing and having fun but little attention was to the food!

Extensive menu with an array of curry and noodle dishes. Intimate dining room with about ten tables. The Massaman curry with chicken was cooked to perfection! Lunch portions are a tad small, so opt for dinner portion, if you're looking for a bit more food on your plate.

Best Thai food around ! I've tried a few other local Thai food places and nothing beats Khaophums !

Food was decent but definitely overpriced and the service was lacking. We ordered ahead and didn't show up for 45 mins but still waited quite a while. Also, they didn't give us any sauce, silverware, napkins, or fortune cookies??

My girlfriend introduced me and I love their food! They are very flexible with customizing orders and I have yet to think the food was anything but delicious! I've tried their very flavorful curry made with fresh veggies, pad c u, and plenty of their appetizers and enjoyed all of it.

Authentic thai for great prices!!! I recommend any of the curry or pad thai, as well as thai iced tea. Lovely staff and quick service every time, thank you!

Pad Thai is to Die for, Crab Rangoon's are made in house and by far the best you will find in New England. I have tried. Nita is the Chef, and she makes everything onsite. Everything is Fresh, and cooked to order. Perfection does not say enough. Very good portions, using fresh daily products. Take out is available and unlike some of the other places I have tried. It is FRESH, Hot and Smells amazing.. Simply Put, This is the BEST of the BEST in NEW England.

Multiple Websites say 930pm for Friday Saturday hours. I was about 30 minutes away. Called to place my order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I advised that I was 30 min away, which would’ve brought me there by 915pm. 15 minutes before close. I was then advised that they close at 900pm and they didn’t have time to update their hours online. I was asked how hungry I was. I told the person on the phone... I called and placed an order, and chose your restaurant based on hours of operation, given that I was 30 minutes away. They asked someone else in the background if it was okay to continue. I then heard the “NO. We close at 9pm”. I truly don’t think it was right to turn someone away based on YOUR inability to correctly report your business hours online. How many other people have you turned away based on that information? You should have been able to accommodate a 15 min wait based on that incorrect Information. It’s irresponsible and put a bad taste in my mouth. Hope your food is better. Except I won’t know because I live nowhere near here. Thanks for nothing.

We love Khaophums! Their crab ran-goons are heaven! We usually order tropical noodle, pad thai, scallion pancakes, and the crab ran-goons. Delicious every time. Very quick if you call in to order pick up.

I love this place, and love spicy food. But my god, do not ask for anything spicy here.... I got Pad Thai and asked for “medium spice” and I can only take 2 bites at a time. I’m talking vindaloo level hot. Too spicy to enjoy 😔

It wasn't bad. Food was alright. Had beef pad thai. Beef was on the tough side. We were in a large group and the waitress missed my wife's order, so she didn't get to eat. (We had to leave to work.) When we asked a cook what had happened she said the waitress didn't hear her. No apologies offered or anything to make up for that. Not horrible but we won't be going back.

Best food if it all came out warm. Their crab rangoons are the best as well their basil fried rice and chicken wings with that bomb sauce but like i said only if it were always warm they would get a 5 out of 5. They were out of chicken wings the last 3 or 4 times I went so there is that as well. Great atmosphere smaller but pretty cool for a date. They do have strange hours so look to make sure they are open.

Favorite restaurant in Dover NH

First time customer there. The drunken noodles were AMAZING! The vegetables were very fresh and crisp, and the heat blended perfectly with the dish. The service was outstanding, very friendly and helpful.

Great place to come for thai food. I like this place slightly more than the other thai restaurants in dover but you really cant go wrong with any of them. The quality of food is top notch. This is always my first pick but they arent open on sundays and they sometimes close randomly so then I just go down the street to the other thai place which is still just as good. It usually doesn't get too busy but when it does, good luck. Theres normally only one staff member to the whole restaurant and sometimes they are also doing the cooking, answering phones, busting tables, and then some.. I normally order take out but overall great place!

Amazing Service, delicious food! When I went to pick up my order, I found that there was some confusion with what I had ordered. After a brief chat, they made everything right, and I got the opportunity to try a dish I would not normally have ordered. I truly appreciate their efforts to correct my order, and I look forward to eating here frequently.

The food was very good, unfortunately that's the only positive part of this review. The AC was running but it must have been 80° inside. We were given the silverware for the table inside an empty water glass. The water was room temp. They were out of the crispy chicken, out of the squid, out of STICKY RICE. The owner was away and didn't place an order. They close at 9:30 and by 9:10 they had all the chairs upside down on every other table in the restaurant. They might of well have shut off they lights on us.

I went with family and everything we had was close to perfect. I worried a bit when there were a few ingredients they were out of, but the substitutions they made were as good or better. The veggie dumplings seemed to be homemade and we scarfed them down. The service was exceptional, attentive but not intrusive, like a high end restaurant. That really put the gold finish on an otherwise excellent meal.
