We didn't get to eat here because it was super busy. When we walked in there was a bunch of rugs rolled up and neatly piled to the left across from the register and kitchen. Small dining ares w\2 bigger tables for larger groups. The gentelman that welcomed us right away said it might be a bit of a wait and apologized for not having space for us, he was very welcoming and nice. We asked the older lady working the register, bringing out food and taking orders if we could do reservations. She didn't even look at us when we talked with her, she was busy looking at the screen in front of her putting in orders and told us that they don't take reservations. She wasn't as nice as the gentleman which is understandable as she was very busy. We scanned the menu and didn't see anything that really caught our eye except for the meal for four. We would need to order two of those for our family of 8 and it was $75, it would've been $150 which is a little high for our normal. We'd definitely like to come back and try the food here, it smelled and looked amazing!

Thank you so much for the amazing food! Foods that brought me home! Everything arrived fresh and hot! The roti was fresh and delicious! And the spicy hot sauce is just the right amount! I finally found a restaurant that prepares homemade food from the heart.

My wife and I have enjoyed eating at Kabab House for over 15 years. Everything cooked fresh to order and delicious. We're now remodeling our home and getting assistance with hand woven rugs!

Family business and friendly staff. Though #Afghan, they have #MiddleEastern and #SouthAsian cuisine too like #Gyro, #Biryani. Food is mostly #halal but there can be some exceptions. Always good to ask and they will let you know. Community support is always needed to make small businesses flourish; especially with diverse ethnic food options. #SiouxFalls #SouthDakota

In addition to fresh, fragrant dishes, there were incredibly beautiful rugs available for sale. Authenticly delicious with some leftovers I'm already looking forward to eating.

First time in Sioux Falls, found this gem. We walked into the restaurant, the owner/cook saw my wife with hijab and knew we Muslim, told us that they will substitute our sides with halal options. 5-stars all the way! May Allah bless them.

This food was amazing. The kabobs were delicious as was the hummus, garlic naan and all the lamb dishes and butter chicken. Kids would love it here too.

My son requested dinner from this restaurant for his birthday. It says here and on the website that online ordering is available. So everyone decided what they wanted and I went to order. I used Caviar because it is listed and the other options listed didn’t seem to work. When I arrived to pick up my order, the employee tried to hand me a menu, so I repeated myself, saying that I ordered ahead online. He said they don’t accept orders online. I showed him the confirmation of my order. He said that wasn’t his problem. I showed him the restaurant’s website where it says you can order online and lists the apps you can use. He said that’s not his problem. There’s a decal on the front door with one of the apps listed! They took my money but wouldn’t give me any food. If that’s not a scam, I don’t know what is!! Please don’t give them your business, they are scammers!!!

Ordered the platter for 4 for 3 people. A great deal. Food was absolutely delicious. We could have had leftovers but we stuffed ourselves to the brim. The chicken, lamb, and spicy garlic sauce were amazing.

Absolutely love Khorasan! It has the most homey, family-owned feeling that just screams "you're going to get good, authentic food - and a lot of it!" Very affordable, perfect hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, and always enough for leftovers!

This was our first time visiting this establishment and we were only one of two families in the restaurant during the Sunday lunch hour, so needless to say it was a quiet atmosphere and our food arrived quickly! We ordered the family of four platter with extra meatballs and garlic naan. The platter was plenty of food for our family of five and we were even able to take a to-go box home. It also provided us a variety of kababs and food from the restaurant to try. Our favorites were the beef and lamb kabobs, the meatballs and the rice. Although the naan was flavorful, it was not similar to our experiences with naan from Indian restaurants we've tried in the Sioux Falls area

The staff there are very nice. I had a side order of lamb kabob and Afghan rice. Wonderful! The rest of the people in our party enjoyed their dishes also.

The pricing is reasonable and you get plenty of authentic food. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and many enjoyable flavors on the menu to choose from. If you're not sure, start with the butter chicken.

Ordered online, order is incomplete. The kebabs were so dry and overcooked. Mostly just two big piles of rice. The standards are unacceptable, low value for the amount charged.

If your looking for a smiling friendly place to go . Go somewhere else . My wife and I were “greeted “ by a not so friendly person who was seated at a table eating.. The server was not very friendly and didn’t do much to explain food. We were brought water and food and never saw the woman again. After we were almost done a man I believe the owner saw that we needed a refill on water brought some over. I tried to be nice and complement him on his food, which was obviously reheated. My wife asked for a box for the leftover food. He stated well you ordered a lot of food ( 2 entrees) he never brought the box He then walked away and we had to go find him to pay for our food. We both felt not very welcome and the food looked better on menu than it tasted

Food was great and service was friendly. I'd give it a 5 star but their hours can be a little rough. Stopped in one night to find a hand written sign saying they were closed and had a friend with a similar experience a couple weeks later. Maybe just call ahead to make sure they're open and get some delicious kabobs.

Food is great. Customer service is probably the worst of any restaurant in town. You never know when they are going to be open and if you order on doordash they just ignore the order. Used to be worth it but don't waste your time.

First time trying afghan food. We got chicken biryani, butter chicken, and lamb biryani. We liked it. It's pretty spacious. A quiet and nice environment! They have options for the spiciness level which is great and they also give a lot of food. We all had to get a to go box. Kobob is their specialty which I haven't tried this time. Need to go again!

Fantastic Middle Eastern food, one of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls

We were doing a big road trip from Seattle. We didn't have a lot of choices near the road. We did choose this place because of 4.5 stars The food was so overcooked and unfavorable that we couldn't even finish it. People on the kitchen were fighting really loud. I wouldn't recommend this place. P.S. I originally put 1star but really respect your answer to this review. Changing it to 3 stars because of your response.

We sought out Khorasan looking for a place with middle eastern flavors. It was such a great choice. This local mom and pop restaurant is located in a strip mall with free off street parking. It offered indoor dining. We were there at 6:00 and were seated right away. Wait staff took our order right away and food was served quickly, We went for the Sultan Kabob trio (beef, lamb, chicken) which was served with rice and salad. The two of us split the platter and had more than enough food between us. It was such a tasty meal. We ordered it with waters and had a bill of less than $20. Can't wait to go back and support this local restarant.

Located in a strip mall, this restaurant has delicious home-cooked Afghan/Mediterranean food. We thoroughly enjoyed our lamb and chicken kebabs (includes a large serving of rice and salad) and the rich mango lassis.

While, in my opinion overall not bad but this time i just give 3 star coz i kinda don’t feel good taste for food 🥘

This is one of my FAVORITE places to eat! I love the Butter Chicken, the Chicken Biryani, the Chicken Jalfrezi and the Beef Karri. My family also loves their hummus, salada, grape leaves and Samos as. We have never had a meal that wasn't thoroughly delicious. Recommended highly above places like Sanaa's or Shahi Placate.

Love the rice and the kabobs, good place to eat ,however me and my husband who are cooks are self and like to try different things where only there once but would go back . I only would recommend that they provide some kind of sauce for the plan rice even though the rice was still great plain it just might be nice for those who like a bit of sauce with there rice.

Ate here twice while on vacation. My wife and I loved the food. We had the butter chicken and beef shwarma sandwich and both were great.

I wish I could give this place six stars. I have adored it since I first came here at its old location on 12th with my foreign brother-in-law while looking for an authentic eastern place to eat. The atmosphere is of a true family-run restaurant, complete with warm welcomes from the host/hostess, considerate and friendly service, and, what my brother-in-law described as "food that reminds me of my mother." Would recommend the samosas, and if you're looking for something non spicy, the butter chicken. If you are, the lamb biryani is always a great choice. Overall, this place is always on my list of places to take people out to eat.

Khorasan Kabob House has never disappointed and today was no exception . Today we tried the Butter Chicken , a beef Kabob and incredibile Lamb chops . The chops were grilled to perfection ... moist and beautifully seasoned . The Butter Chicken is the best around and the namesake Kabobs ? Well , it doesn't get any better ! The owner makes the whole experience even better. Amazing chef , very friendly and accommodating . Definitely worth the trip !!!

One of the most consistent quality and value options in the area. Carry out orders are ready promptly. If I had to recommend one item on the menu it would be the BUTTER CHICKEN - but I also really like it when the ROHT (cookie bread) is available! Generous portions, reasonable prices, and so much more delicious and healthy than any drive-thru .

Friendly and attentive service, wide variety of hearty meals, including vegetarian. Wish the naan was a little bigger portion but overall a dependable go-to for a unique meal in Sioux Falls.

Everything was delicous and authentic! Got a combo kebob with lamb and chicken, chicken schwarma, and a beef kebob. The beef kebob combined with the green (I believe it was chutney) sauce is amazing!

My family and I really love Middle Eastern food and having lived in California prior to moving to South Dakota we had the opportunity to try several different variations of it but did not have an Afghan place so discovering one in Sioux Falls was a very pleasant surprise. Now for the food. There are many items that share the names with Indian dishes that many may be familiar with but the preparation is different as far as the spices and seasonings used. The kabobs are all really good and they serve most things with this great sauce that they call chutney but that I would describe more like a salsa verde. Whatever you call it though, I call it super tasty and will come close to going through a whole bottle of it! The Biryani is another dish we like as is the Butter chicken. It's just really tasty food and something a bit out of the norm and I highly recommend it.

We had a vegetarian out of town guest so we knew we could find something for everyone here. It absolutely did not disappoint. Their chutney is so good I'd eat it on a shoe. Great service and delicious food!

The food is great ,it’s like Afghan Pakistan Iran and Indian mixed food in a dish service kinda slow and I wanted to have Afghan Naan but the brought me kinda deferent Naan which I don’t like it and the really need someone just for customer service and front disk overall I like it . What an amazing gem! Arrived here after a very long drive from Chicago and was super excited to find this place. Everything was delicious! Samosas were the best along with the kebab trio. So much flavor and perfectly cooked, even after arriving closer to their closing time, much appreciated and keep up the delicious cooking!
