Nice to see owners again asking me it’s been awhile. I haven’t visited in a long time. Curry rice👍 miss their beautiful personality there. Trying to get out more🩷

This is one of my favorite Asian places in the entirety of the Orlando area. Now I really just stick to one order so I can’t speak for the entire menu. I always order the Kimchi Jjigae and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were pretty standard. However the Kimchi Jjigae is phenomenal. Warning it’s very spicy. It’s genuinely spicy unlike some other restaurants I’ve visited. The soups flavor is deep and rich. My only gripe with it is that I usually have to as for extra meat in the stew as it doesn’t usually have much. The side dishes that come with the soup are also very good!

First timer here. Not sure what to have expected. However the reviews were descent. Figured I would give it a shot. Okay I apologize in advance. Don't know how to pronounce any of the names of the dishes, but I can tell you what they are. Small location, cozy if you will. The server / greeter was very nice. It was busy but she was very attentive. Very polite as well. Didn't get her name, my bad. I ordered the Fried Dumplings to start. They were really good. Hot and fresh. Then I ordered the stir fried pork with mixed veggies. It was a spicey dish. She brought out the sides which included Kimchi, cucumbers. Bean sprouts, some type of fish and white rice. The actual dish had some Tofu and other items. Couldn't say what it was but it was tastey. The spice was was not overpowering at first but did help to clear my sinuses. I even sneezed a couple of times. But not crazy hot. Very good. The name of the dish was Jeyuk Bokkeum. Will definitely return, very nice experience. Want to try some of the other dishes Everything looked really good. See ya next time.

The food was delicious, a bit expensive but that’s to be expected. My brother tried the pork katsu, it was very good but i would recommend getting the lunch portion rather than the regular meal. The bibimbap i wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like spicy food, it is lacking without the spicy sauce. The japche was incredible. the waitress was very sweet. im excited to go back and try more food.

My favorite restaurant for 14 years! I lived in Korea for 3 years. This is authentic & delicious! We love the family owners! The best. If you are new try bibimbap. If you are adventurous, try the spicy squid soup.

Okay, this is a great place. Authentic, and they try to do their ultmost to provide customers great food and service. There are only 2 people working, so you may run into delays during busy hours (so I would take into consideration the possible wait time during peak hours). Lastly, it is not listed, but they do have rest hours between 3pm to 5pm to transition from lunch menu to dinner menu (not rigid, but it is observed)

They are always so nice at this place. Everything we get is cooked to perfection and we enjoy it very much. This time they gave us side items to enhance. Our dining experience. Everyone enjoyed the rice bowls as well as the seafood.

My husband and I have been here several times, and have always enjoyed the food and service. Our regular orders are grilled freshwater eel, samgyupsal (pork belly), japchae, and spicy fish roe stew. The eel is perfectly cooked, the pork belly has a nice char while being juicy (my favorite), the japchae is perfectly seasoned (we get it without beef), and the spicy fish roe stew is flavorful and has a lot of fish roe. Kimchi is probably our favorite Korean restaurant.

Quaint and hidden, this place truly is a gem. I've been looking for really good Korean cuisine and now I know where I can go to scratch that itch. The bulgogi is superb and the kimchi was delectable. The staff were kind and courteous and well. My husband and I will definitely be returning to Kimchi.

Not your standard oriental restaurant, small family run, but very focused on traditional korean food. The Bento box lunch is our standard go to lunch.

My family and I have regularly coming here for over 13 years now and I just have to say how great of a place it is. Their kimchi is way more flavorful than anywhere else (suiting the name well). We almost always buy a jar of kimchi just to keep enjoying it at home. 😂 Highly recommend the different bulgogi, jjigaes, and pajeons.

This is my favorite local Korean restaurant. I am a regular here, and i bring my family and guests here. Food is really great! I love Korean cuisine and have tried a lot of Korean restaurants here in the US, in Korea, and other countries, and this is one of the most authentic taste you can get outside of Korea. Kudos to the chef! Only one constructive comment, they have been tight with their Banchan (variety of small dishes). Banchan is typically served before the main course. I noticed recently, they have been serving Banchan very very close to the main course, which is unusual for a Korean restaurant. They may have a reason for doing this - but it is disappointing. Note we always order a lot every time, they can not say we are only there for the Banchan! I hope the owner hears this honest feedback- at least allow Banchan to be served earlier, when requested.

I had the perfect meal. It is not fast food, but it is very well prepared!

Food was amazing! We went to celebrate a birthday and the servers were very kind and attentive. We ordered a variety of food and everything was very yummy. Will definitely be returning.

Food is always amazing. I suggest you try the kimchi jjigae jeongol, which is a large pot of soup cooked and served tableside on a butane burner with various sides, usually feeds about 2-4 people.

We found this place due to its high reviews and were not disappointed. Very kind waitress and the food came out very quickly. It doesn’t get more authentic korean than this. The food was so amazing as well as the side dishes. The Japchae had a huge portion and was delicious. I highly recommend, the atmosphere was peaceful and enjoyable. Don’t pass this place up!

My wife and I visited for the first time and were very impressed with our bulgogi and dolsot bibimbap. Best part wre the traditional side dishes, which represented the best spread I've seen compared to other Korean restaurants I've recently visited. My only complaint was the service, which was extremely slow, but the food more than compensated for this.

Kimchi Korean is a great place for introducing yourself or friends to Korean food. The food itself is really tasty, and very generous, and the staff were attentive and kind. Although we arrived an hour before closing, our server didn't rush us at all, and our food came out promptly. We started with the tteokbokki and beef/veggie fried mandu- both delicious and definitely worth ordering. Then we actually got one of the sharing casseroles which is started in the kitchen, and then finishes at your table on a portable burner. We got the seafood platter which is advertised for a minimum of 2 people. It's a great meal and comes with sides and rice, and it's healthy, tasty, and super filling. We also got a plate of bulgogi which I HIGHLY recommend - it was so tasty that we kept going back for it even though we were full!!

I went to this restaurant as a little girl with my grandmother and I've been trying to find it every since. I went back and the dwen jeong jjigae was amazing. The woman working was also so kind and I can't wait to come back

Good casual Korean restaurant with the classics, but nothing too special. The flavors were pretty good, but nothing stood out. I feel like the seafood in their soondubu jiigae came out of a frozen bag, and there wasn't much of it. Service was friendly and food came out fast. Prices were reasonable.

Amazing little restaurant. I felt like being back in S Korea again. The lunch was excellent and great value for money. I hope to be back soon.

UPDATE: it's 2022 and I'm back again. Still a great place to eat. Added some photos of what I got this time. Best place for that Korean feel and food. I'm a K-drama freak so I had high expectations when I first went and I've been going ever since! I've dragged about all my friends to have lunch here every Sunday. It met all my standards! Plus the ladies are really nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend the Ramyen and Dolsot bibimbab.

Delicious, authentic Korean food with accommodating staff. We came in with a party of nine, and had such an amazing hot meal! From fish cakes and rice cakes, to bulgogi, japchan, and spicy fish broth, it was all amazing!!

Just be patient with the family that runs the place and you'll have a great experience. Pretty much my advice for everything at this point. Patience and understanding goes a long way. There's more parking in the back or at the bank if you get stressed out by the narrow strip mall parking. Food comes out great every time. Been coming here for over two years.

So good if your looking for good authentic Korean food. It was the first time I tried kimchi actually and it was honestly the best thing I had tasted. I ordered Don Katsu and I was all super good. I definitely recommend it. Truly amazing.

First time here. Food was ok. Dish’s with a pepper next to it are definitely hot . Not like American restaurant’s where hot isn’t really hot. I WILL be back to try other foods.

The kimchi soup is a must try! The food has been amazing the few times I've gone and gotten takeout and the staff is so kind and sweet. On our first visit our server gave us a little dessert at the end on the house. It's the hospitality and atmosphere that makes it feel so comfortable along with great food 10/10 I recommend and will tell other friends how great!

I was craving authentic Korean food and wanted to show my friend what the rave was about so I took them here. We ordered the bibimbap in the hotstone bowl and naegmyeon, all of which come with side dishes. The quality of food and service were amazing and we had a great time. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Everything is just a little but the price is over the average…sounds like a Michelin-style restaurant right? Except the food tastes way below it should be...never have such bad Korean food...

Kimchi Korean Restaurant was the first time I’ve tried Korean food. I informed the the staff I had never tried Korean before and they were quick to jump right in and help me decide on what to get. The food was delicious! I am obsessed with the flavors. Great food, great staff. What more can you ask for?

Best Korean restaurant in town!

This is my favorite Korean restaurant, I live over 30 minutes away and I still come here because the food is good!

My family and I seeing the high reviews came to this Korean Restaurant for dinner the other night. When we go there parking was full; thus we had to park near the bank parking in the back. When we first entered we were fairly quickly greeted and sat down. We saw several items discounted on menu we wanted to tried which made it a bit disappointing. The first star I took away was because when we asked for refill on the side dish they told us they were out of one of side dish, but then we saw then same side later served to another table. Second star I took away was due to atmosphere where we were sat at a table where the sun was beaming at my wife and the restaurant kitchen smoke was all through the restaurant. The full star I took away was because the soup we ordered tasted among the worst we ever tasted at any Korean Restaurants. Ever the omelette Rice we ordered was nothing like the menu and felt there was no effort making it. Overall we felt the restaurant was overrated and will not likely visit again.

Everything on the menu is an absolute banger, truly a hidden gem of Orlando!

I love coming here! Their bibimbap, soup and kimchi and rice are excellent choices. This is my go-to place after Shin Jung since it's far from home. Dine-in is much better than take out so try to come whenever you can. The service is top notch!

Being from Northern Wyoming we don't get to eat Korean dishes much especially since our sole Korean diner closed several years ago. Thus I thought the food here was very good! I had kimchi and Naengmyeon. The kimchi was fabulous! This was the first time I had eaten Naengmyeon and it did not disappoint my expectations! I can't wait to try some other Korean dish next time we're there.

Kimchi is a cute, cozy restaurant with great Korean food! I went recently with my friend and I got the Dak Bulgogi and he got the Dolsot Bibimbab. I would recommend not getting the bibimbab if you're not big on spicy food but still want lots of flavor, as it seems most of the flavor comes from the red pepper paste. I would also say with bibimbab, you will be more satisfied if you get it in the hot plate because it comes out sizzling, and you get a nice crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl! The Dak Bulgogi is like a spicy chicken. I liked it, but I personally didn't find it very spicy. If I'm being completely honest though, half the reason I come is for the kimchi. As the name suggests, they have really good kimchi! I particularly like the cucumber kimchi.

I used to live in Oviedo many years ago, and this place was very dear to me. The owners and the staff treated me like I was family, and I am forever grateful for their hospitality and kindness. I never forget them. Kimchi will forever be in my heart. Thank you for the wonderful food and the beautiful memories...

Not only is this my favorite Korean restaurant, it’s my favorite restaurant in town. Everyone working here is so nice and always remembers us. Their food is delicious. It tastes just like the food I grew up eating, so authentic and so good. Their kimchi is perfect and they have great lunch specials. Trust me, get the galbi- you will never eat anything that tastes better. The lunch portion is a good size and the dinner portion is huge and enough to share. I bring people here all the time to see their reactions when they try galbi for the first time. I also do call in to go orders which is so easy and I highly recommend. Go here! You will not regret it.

This is a family business, the grandma & grandpa make everything and honestly the food taste soo good so authentic. Just like if a loved one would make food for you! Everything was spot on from the start ups to main dishes to side dishes! Kimchi was so yummy! Overall it was delicious, very clean, service was fast, and atmosphere is homie and lovely. If you really like Korean food you'd LOVE this place! 10/10 would recommend!
