This was excellent! The staff and the food! We had hibachi and our chef was entertaining and cooked everything to perfection. We will be back to enjoy again!

We love this place!! The food has been perfect every time! Our younger children were taken aback the first time they experienced the “cooking show”,but now it is a top choice for everyone in our family! And if you don’t prefer the hibachi grill experience, you can also be seated at a booth, away from the open grills. The bathroom is clean and the servers are excellent.

It's not to bad for the pricing. Someone at our table ordered the yakisoba noodles and something tased off about it, but other then that everything was really good.

Great food, attentive staff. Hands down the best clear soup on the coast. If you’re able to splurge on a foie gras and scallop nigiri, DO IT!!! It’s gonna be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. The creaminess of the foie and the sweetness of the scallops yielded in such a luxurious mouthfeel. Salmon tartare was exquisite. I just wish they give more than 4 wonton crisp. Go at lunch to avail their reasonably priced specials!

We finally found a place that was satisfying, the waitress even got babe to eat ginger on his salad! We will be eating here alot!!

The food was okay and the atmosphere was okay as well the fact that the chefs had to move around each other multiple times while they were cooking was a little awkward. We also had a party of five adults and three children all under 5 years old since that makes eight of us they added the gratuity to the bill even though there was only five people who ordered. They almost got away with getting a double tip seating is also very limited. The sushi that I get from the commissary felt like it was more fresh than what I was served.

Absolute Best Sushi and Hibachi !

I think the food was good, not the best but good. Service was prompt, my cup never empty and always stopping by to see if we needed anything. The restaurant did smell weird when we came in but maybe that has something to do with the hibachi grills. All in all we enjoy ourselves. Check out the photos.

i love koi sushi so much im actually their biggest fan i go every weekend with my babcia (grandma) and i always get salmon nigiri & the tuna lover roll. always so fresh and yummy and the waitresses are so sweet

Fried rice was bland, no flavor, chicken in Fried rice was boiled and not cooked in the rice properly. Bad business. Home cooks can tell.

Our go-to for sushi or hibachi on the coast. The Koi's roll is a favorite, so is the Tai tea and our service is always good 👍

We didn't have to wait, there was just 2 of us. The problem is that they pack you in the restaurant like sardines. I felt too close to the next person sitting at the next table. You couldn't really walk down the aisle straight. Waiting for food took long, waiting for a waiter took long because of so many customers (every table was full). When a water glass is empty for over 15 min and you have to flag down another waiter for help there is a problem.

Great hibachi love their rice. Been here 2x will be back.

I don't know what's happen to this place over the last year or so but it's not worth it. We used to go every week for sushi. We now go about once a month and ordered a take out today. The roll was made with old fish completely inedible, the poke bowl was premade. The tuna dry rice cold(requested brown got white) the crab and avocado were old. Only thing that was great was the edamame. Really disappointed lately which is unfortunately they used to be the best in the area

Omgosh I LOVE Koi! They are amazing. The chefs are always so interactive with my son. And the food....MUAH! The best. So much flavor! 10/10!

One of the best authentic Japanese restaurants on the Mississippi Coast. The lunch specials are generous and the servers are friendly and efficient.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. Wait time isn't too long and service is phenomenal. Last time I was there had the most amazing escolar sushi I've had. 10/10 would eat again.

Probably one of the worst hibachi restaurants I've been to and doubly disappointing since my adult children were visiting. There is a sauce used which my daughter says is hoison sauce. It's thick and sweet and used for everything. We didn't like it and sure didn't like it considering how much was used in the cooking. My beef was swimming in sauce. Ended up not eating most of our meals. Prices are reasonable but I would prefer to pay a little more and get good food. I just couldn't eat most of it.

The sushi was great but pricey. There was great flavor and great spice on the Kimberly roll! However, I took off two stars, one for the slow service and one for still charging me for a tasteless drink that I had them take back. I asked for a water instead since the soda I had tasted like straight carbonation, and they did not take it off the bill. Hoping for an even better experience next time!

The card machine only works for certain cards. I paid for my food and he gave me the wrong food. $22.10 was my total, I was handed back $1.75 from $26.00. I waited on my food and he quote on quote said “I know you not blind. Get yo food.”

Really good food. Best egg drop soup I’ve had in a long time. Just kind of loud when eating at hibachi tables.

Chicken and steak were extremely tender and the sushi was second to none.

It was our first time here and the service was really good. It server was prompt and the hibachi chef was very courteous of the children at the table when it came to the fire show. We didn't really like the noodles though. I don't think we will order those again.

The food is great, Service is great. The only downfall (which is why I rated it 4 star) you can only get the Hibachi dinner if you sit at the Hibachi table. which is a bummer because I am allergic to shellfish. so the smoke irritates me. Wish I could get the Hibachi dinner sitting at a regular booth.

Koi Sushi is my go-to sushi spot. The sushi here is expertly crafted, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Great value for the quality you get!

I would put all 5 stars but they need a tv in the corner of the restaurant by the light up open sign because I had to turn to watch the game the entire time

This has got to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, called in a large order to go was given one price that wasn’t matching what total should be based off their menu plus tax! Called store got the owner and let him know about the amount, he then said it was 10% charge on to go, but that was not o website neither was it communicated over the phone. Shrimp weren’t cooked fully and let him know the steak was not a filet and he got an attitude! No resolution, no empathy! Won’t get another red cent from me! Oh yea and lunch portions don’t even waste your money it’s not worth it!

Our chef did not interact. We brought family for their first experience, and it wasn't the greatest. The waiter was awesome.

Oh my gosh... so lucky we stumbled upon this place smile at the outlets. Amazing lunch and in and out in 40 minutes and that was with a wait.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed every moment of it! The food was amazing and filling. Will be coming back the next time we are in town.

We were a party of 8 that was there for a baby shower. The mother to be is a vegetarian, and she requested that we hold the shower here due to the variety of vegetarian dishes offered. The young man that cooked for us did an excellent job. He is quite the showman, and he is a master at his craft. Several of us ordered the steak and shrimp combination . Although the steak was tender and cooked to order, and the shrimp perfectly cooked, it was all so bland. We all agreed that the food was in desperate need of more seasoning. It truly had very little flavor. I personally wished that I had access to a salt and pepper shaker.

This is one of my favorite sushi places of all time! They have great variety, very unique rolls, an extensive menu, fantastic service, hibachi or regular dining, and just a downright pleasure to eat there. Pro tip: try the mignon roll!

Excellent dining value in Gulfport. Definitely a place you should try when traveling on US49. Sushi was great and the beef teriyaki was good too. Service was quick and servers were attentive. Definitely a place to go again and again or try for a new go-to place to eat.

Our visit to Koi Sushi was pleasant. The food and service were good. I particularly enjoyed the crabcand asparagus roll.

2.5⭐️ We went to Koi Sushi for lunch on a random day. The restaurant was empty, but the service still wasn’t where it should have been for an empty lunch. The food wasn’t bad… but I do not think I would waste my time, or money, going back.

The food was not as good as normal. We went in an hour before closing. I couldn't finish my dinner due to some of the employees staring at me, and OBVIOUSLY WAITING to clear our table. Our server was polite, but starting clearing our table before we were finished. This used to be my fav place to eat.

The food was so good! Had the hotty toddy roll and the crawfish fried rice. Would definitely come back! The fried ice cream is incredible too! Great service too

Tried to go have dinner here. We got drinks and that was it. No one came back to take our order. We weren't even acknowledged after we got the drinks and the menus and they weren't even that busy

Delicious!! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because I thought they should serve more vegetables and our chef wasn't much of a showman. The clear soup and the chilled sake are very good!! We will definitely eat here again! Also, bring a sweater!

Very happy with our hibachi date night! Sooo much food. Chef sushi roll was delicious and I loved the lychee martini!

The shrimp were not cleaned, the salmon wasn't cooked all of the way, and they did not substitute for fried rice. I travel all over the United States and critique all restaurants I try while traveling. The shrimp tempura appetizer was good, but that's about it. It seemed like a good place due to the crowd, but they still have work to do. Will not go back. See ya.

My food was ok, but i couldn't order what i wanted because Hibachi can only be ordered at the Hitachi tables. I don't like sitting in those sections due to anxiety, so it was disappointing that i couldn't order it at a regular table.

Koi is right around the corner from our cell phone and computer repair shop. If you want solid entertainment for dinner, their hibachi experience is the way to go. Ironically, we saw one of our prior repair shop customers there and they were coincidentally placed at the same table us as. Needless to say, we had a blast (and helped them at the shop afterwards). Koi also has delicious sushi and soup that we order regularly when we cannot hang out for hibachi.

For me, this is the only local restaurant that makes trying a variety of menu items enjoyable.

The outside is not much to look at. But once you get in the establishment. It is clean and nice. Our waiter was friendly and the lunch box was plenty to eat. Would highly recommend. Great job team.
