Best shave ice on the island!!! And it’s organic so that’s a plus!

Yummy shaved ice with unique flavors. The only place i have found so far that has the golden milk flavor. Larger portions and the mochi was very fresh. They have condensed coconut cream available too!

This shave ice was absolutely delicious! Our large group got a few different flavors to try and everyone loved each of their flavors! Kula Rainbow, Chocoholic, Da Mynah Bird, and my personal favorite - Coco-Nutty! We will be in Hilo later in our trip, plan to stop at that location if we have time!

Great vegan option for authentic shaved ice. They offer coconut condensed milk as a vegan option and their poi is vegan. Everything clearly labeled and staff was super helpful.

We originally pulled into this driveway because of a sign that said Sweet Corn. But ironically, we ended up getting everything but sweet corn! This Kula Shaved ice stand is next to the Kuilima Farm. We were contemplating trying this place when a customer told us it was sooo good and that her local friend told them to try this place. And she added they use real fruit to flavor the ice. That hooked us and so we tried it. Man, I thought Island Vintage Shaved Ice was my favorite place, until I took a spoonful of this shaved ice. The flavor fills your tastebuds and it is just amazingly delicious!!! We tried both the Lilikoi and the rainbow mix of Strawberry, Mango, and Blueberry on another day. All flavors were amazing but Lilikoi is my personal favorite. Pricing is high at $13 (Island Vintage is $11) and this one doesn’t come with mochi toppings for free (we never got toppings). But the flavor is unmatched and they also add frozen yogurt inside. Parking is found anywhere in front of this stand or the other fruit stands. There is bench seating all over. I highly highly recommend this place as the best shaved ice I have ever had on the island!!!!

This is the best shave ice. I usually forgo shave ice because it’s just sugary artificially flavored syrup. Not at Kula, it was delicious and not too sweet. You could taste the real fruit flavor. The haupia cream topping is like an elevated coconut marshmallow topping, soooo yummy! We got the coco-nutty and loved it. The Mac nut ice cream at the bottom was a wonderful touch.

Really appreciate the effort they put in to deliver the best ingredients and flavors. The ONLY shave ice that doesn’t make me feel icky afterwards, I love that they use real sugar and fruit. They also have plenty of options for flavors and toppings… not to mention it’s one of the cleanest establishments on the north shore. Dani is the best along with the rest of the staff:) The owners are also local which is the best! They truly deliver the aloha experience with every order

Best shave ice on island. We lived on Big Island and loved Kula at the Hilo Farmers Market, and were so happy to find that there was a Kula here! Lilikoi Dreamcicle is amazing, but really everything is delicious, the syrups are all natural and so yummy and fruity, not just sugary sweet, and everyone that works there is lovely.

This place was so good! When I was exploring waterfalls and needed to cool down, I went to this shave ice place. Little did I know it was the same shave ice place as in downtown Hilo. I got pineapple and lime over ice cream, and it was delicious! Perfect for what I needed to cool down. The people were really nice, and there was a good amount of outdoor seating.

The best shave ice on the island so far🍧 personally, i did not like the shave ice from the named place (M*t**m*t*) so I've been avoiding it. The shave ice here tastes amazing, not too sweet and flavorful.

Delish shave ice, cold brew and friendly staff. Tip - order a small shave ice, the large typically comes out without enough syrup. Enjoy!

Stopped by this road side stand to get some cold refreshment. The ice was hard, thank god the wooden spoon was strong. The ice was flavored well, no dry white ice spots. But the lilikoi syrup didn't taste like lilikoi and when combined with the condemned milk drizzle and vanilla ice cream - it was unbearably sweet. I'll give it another shot if I'm nearby, but for this visit the ice was way to sweet! The lilikoi syrup should have some tang/sourness to balance the sweet flavors.

It was fine. Didn’t have as many flavors as you’d hope for. Was like $10 each for shaved ice which is more than I would expect to pay. Probably wouldn’t come back but not a bad option if you’re in the area.

We wanted to experience the shaved ice here at Oahu. My goodness, this place makes the organic shaved ice with all natural ingredients. The tropical and lili koi was our favorite. We stopped here twice to enjoy this delicacy. There are fruit stand shops, right next to this place and they serve fresh local fruits and the best tender coconut. Do yourself a favor, stopping by here to enjoy the deliciousness. ❤️ The people who run Kula shave ice are kind and courteous. Thank you, thank you. Truly enjoyed it here.

Great shave ice near Turtle Bay Resort. There's also a fruit stand next door to grab some local fresh fruit. A large shave ice is going to be $10+ so it's not cheap. Definitely get one with ice cream in it. There are a few picnic tables but not much shade. They accept credit cards.

Best ORGANIC shaved iced on the north shore. Definitely recommend Ricky's banana bread next door!!

All natural shave ice. No artificial anything. Flavors are good. A little more subtle than the really sweet ones, which i liked a lot. Tasted like something natural and not a sugar bomb. Tourists and locals both come here.

I mean how do you go to Hawaii and not try some shave ice??? Perfect little spot in north shore...this was just one of several food stops on our day here. Lilikoi dreamsickle is a definite must have here!!! The ice cream scoop in the center took the shaved ice to the next level!! We also tried some of their other flavors like lime and strawberry....all great. Make sure you stop here and check out the goodies next door as well. They have coconuts and other local fruit.

Okay, there is a lot of great shaved ice on the island, however this took the cake for me. I loved the more natural flavoring and that for some reason I wasn’t being hunted down by bees, Lille had happened at other places on the island. So good, what can I say?

The only shave ice place you need to visit on Oahu, hands down! Soft, fluffy ice with incredible natural flavor options (that they are generous with - no ice-only bites!). My only regret is that I came here for the first time at the end of my trip. I can't wait to go back!!

Shaved ice bits are quite large and don't carry the flavourings well. Tasty when it did have any taste.

The best shaved ice I’ve had. I’m no connoisseur but the texture of the ice was nice and soft(?) and the flavors tasted natural, not artificial like other shaved ice I’ve had. The staff was friendly and happy to give recommendations. Overall great experience.

There is nothing more refreshing than shave ice in Hawaii and the Kyla shave ice is the best! All natural flavorings and delicious options all around. It was a great stop on our drive around Oahu. The best part was it’s right next to some delicious fruit stands that had cut fruit that you could take with you for the car ride!

disclaimer: i’m from california and have only had shaved ice from there, but this place was amazing! i got the pineapple and guava flavors with vanilla ice cream, red bean, and coconut condensed milk. (bonus: add some cut papaya from the fruit stand next door)

BEST SHAVE ICE EVER!!!! So delicious in every way!!!! The fresh fruit flavors are all natural & no corn syrup, the yummy toppings.. it doesn’t get any better. If you’ve been to Wailua Shave ice on Kauai, its similar…. But these flavors are even more tasty & natural. The only thing I’m saddened by, I just realized it’s only open weekends so we cant go back before we leave 😭

Really enjoyed the shave ice. (As a shave ice lover, I’m fussy when it comes to the texture of ice. It was eagerly because of the syrup but the ice shaver maybe traditional type where they create rather dense texture which tends to melt fast. I think they can improve the ice texture…best one is Korean’s snow flakes. ) Anyway loved the fruit syrup, no chemical, no additive, no artificial color, no artificial flavor..is the best part! I’d recommend this place for anyone who are health conscious and plan to go to Kahuku.

Wow, wow, WOW!!! I'm glad I experienced some shave ice on the island before going to Kula Shave Ice on the North Shore. I had perspective - THIS IS THE BEST💖 I had the Kula Rainbow with vanilla ice cream. Real fruit made the flavors extraordinarily delicious and the ice cream was a sensation. Does this sound too good to be true? No way - go and try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Also topping the favorites list were the Coconut Nutty and the iced vietnamese coffee. All high rated by our family.

Our little family really enjoyed the whole experience. We just got stationed here and upon doing research on the best shave ice, we determined Kula was a top contestant. They have a reasonable area to park, unlike many other locations. There are many tables with umbrellas outside, wonderful vibes all around. Peaceful music, kind people. The shave ice itself was absolutely delicious. There are many options as far as flavors and toppings. They also have many beverages you can try. There is something for everyone. The pricing is very fair and definitely reasonable. The scenery was relaxing and beautiful. We will definitely be going back!

This place was amazing and I can unfortunately only give 5 stars. I would give more if I could! Let’s start by saying the area is nice and kept very clean. Parking was no issue as they have a parking lot with a decent amount of parking. The ordering experience was great. They asked my wife, “is this your first time here?” We replied, “yes, and hopefully there will be many more visits.” Well I must say that it was by far one of the best experience with customer service that we have ever seen. The people are super polite and considerate. The convenience to pay is great since it’s not a cash only location. I will say we only got the Shave Ice and it was PERFECT in every way!! We did not try the other products but I am sure in time we will.

We had a LOT of shave ice on our trip (because why wouldn't you?) with the goal of finding the best shave ice on the island. Hands down, this place was our favorite. The syrups were high quality. I loved the homemade mochi toppings and the delicious macadamia ice cream as well. We also got one with a snow cap and a Vietnamese coffee (ice coffee with condensed milk). Everything was amazing. Even better was the fact that we could have had a vegan snow cap - something we didn't see at any other shave ice place on the island. We enjoyed our treats in peace, surrounded by a tranquil tropical garden. I can't imagine anything better. If I could have, I would have spent hours there. But we had to get on the road - which was thankfully easy because of their location. They took cash, card, and Apple pay, which most places were not able to accept. And they didn't have a ridiculous line, which kept it a stress free experience. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. It was that good.

This place is heaven. Surrounded with green tropical plants and trees so one can find a spot to have a cup of delicious Shave Ice. Truly best one I have ever had! There is parking lot right nearby and picnic tables. They have a lot of options for this amazing treat. I picked coconut and strawberry with vanilla ice cream inside and homemade chocolate topping. Delicious!

So glad we found this place! We've tried numerous places and this is by far our favorite for shave ice. Skip the ling lines of other places and come here for some amazing shave ice that uses real fruit to make the syrup and also has vegan and non-vegan options for topping and filling. Will be making the 40 minute trek from Ewa Beach just to get shave ice from here in the future.

One of the best shaved ices on the island. What distinguishes them from other shaved ice are the following: - organic and unique flavors like soursopp - the best topping, haupia cream (must get) - decent mochi (though friends argue it’s exceptional, though second best to island vintage’s mochi)

The flavors were really good, but skip the coconut topping. It was way too sweet, and not very good. The flavors we had were Guava, Strawberry, pineapple and mango.
