We ordered samosa chat and Butter chicken tacos, it was ok, definetly not returning back ! I think the samosa chat could use more yoghurt sauce and tamarind sauce, Tacos - butter chickn was so watery! It was ok They dint even wish us !!

This was our first time, and we came for a sit-down experience, not realizing that this is primarily a take-out place. Very clean and nice spartan decor. I ordered chicken Tika masala, but ended up being served butter chicken and they also failed to include a side dish I ordered. The "wrap" thar my partner ordered were just a folded naan. The two samosas were tiny, but otherwise tasted good. We felt the food was over-priced, but okay.

They have a kiosk to order which is super convenient. It's classic Indian flavors presented in more American style dishes and it's AMAZING

This was our first time there and my first time eating Indian food. Everything we got was delicious! The service was great. He came out to help us with the menu. Definitely a place we will be visiting again.

Before I review I want to say thank you to the owners for such a delicious and pleasant dining experience. I (and my family) thoroughly enjoyed everything (food, service, and atmosphere). Some background: the owners are brothers who took the recipes from their fathers restaurant (which is in Springfield, MA and has been there for 30 years) and combined them with a contemporary service style in their new location. We'll done gentlemen! I'm a big fan of the classic dish Chicken Tikka Masala and their version is fantastic. I got the combo with cheesy garlic Naan and the combination of it all was so satisfying. My wife and I each got an order of it. We also ordered a chicken Tikka masala taco on garlic Naan for our son, we got the masala mac and cheese (really good, but I couldn't eat too much because it was for our daughter.. but I jad my eyes on it haha). For dessert we got their version of tres leche cake and when I took my first bite I wanted to take more home for the next day. It was perfectly sweetened, perfect moist balance from top to bottom, and the frosting was delightful. There are more dessert options, including cookies, too. The contemporary service style involves three options for ordering (person-to-person, kiosk ordering, or via a QR code on each table), allowing or easy ordering. Their drink selection has a mixture of lassi, imported sodas, standard American sodas, and even adult beverages for those who want it. I loved it. Thank you again for a great dining experience.

Excellent ***** All made on the spot, even their own mango Lassi bottled. I had the paneer taco. Very good & authentic with just enough spice.

This place is great! Me and my family came here for a quick meal and our expectations were exceeded. We ordered butter chicken tacos, masala Mac and cheese, and a chicken wrap. All had lots of flavor and were excellent. The lady at the counter was very friendly and welcoming and was happy to accommodate our food allergies. Our food came out fast and was prepared to perfection. A good thing to know is that you can adjust the spice level based on how much spice you can tolerate. The decor is modest and tasteful and the place was impeccably clean. We will definitely be coming here again!

Great little spot! Food was delicious! Butter chicken tacos were phenomenal. Seriously exceeded my expectations. The Marsala sauce was perfection. Chicken wings were seriously YUM! Service was wonderful too. Can’t wait to go back and try a cocktail next time. I’m going to order everything from the menu with each visit!

Naan 10/10 Butter Chicken Taco 10/10 Lamb Curry Taco 9/10 Pani puri 7/10 Samosas 6/10 Naan is used for taco shells and they’re delicious 🤤 Service was incredible! The guy at the front was super helpful and enthusiastic. He was kind enough to give us the strawberry shortcake cookie for free 😊

We ordered Channa Chaat (7/10), Samosa Chaat (8/10), and Pani Puri (3/10). The water (paani) in the Pani Puri was disappointing. Typically, it's served with chickpeas or potatoes, but here it was served with mashed potatoes, which made it very dry. However, the puris (gappas) were perfectly made. Also, the sweet sauce (chutney) which is usually included in the Pani Puri package was charged extra, and oddly, it seemed to include some sort of BBQ sauce. They really need to improve their Pani Puri.

This is an amazing place. Very cute , comfortable and extremely friendly staff. The food came out at quickly, they brought it out to us, and it was all delicious! The tacos are definitely my favorite but everything is amazing. They have something for everyone. The strawberry cookie is bomb and the drinks … AMAZING! I will definitely be coming back for the delicious food, amazing staff and owners , aesthetically pleasing environment , and homey feel !

Food is very good. Not my first time having Indian food in general- but Motu takes it to another level. I tried the masala Mac and cheese and it’s nothing I’ve ever seen available before. VERY DELICIOUS and their menu is extremely original. Their choices are good and the portions are just as good. I recommend the masala Mac and cheese and the mango lassi! Great job Motu!

Great food! The chicken I got was of good quality. I’ve had butter chicken/ chicken Marsala at other places and this chickens quality was def better. Big portion of cheesy garlic naan as well. Will definitely be returning.

I don't write reviews often on Google, but Motu's food is so good I just had to spread the word. They're always coming up with new, unique dishes that always taste amazing. I had the Naan Pizza today and it was awesome. I highly recommend going to Motu's if you havent yet.

Updated from 4 to 5 stars. My only gripe was speed and containers but the containers have been upgraded and my last visit was lightning fast. Thanks, Motu!

Finally made it to Motu! As big fans of Panjabi Tadka, my husband and I have been dying to check out this place, and it did not disappoint. Everything came out piping hot and so fresh, the portions were generous (tacos so big I could only finish one), and everything was packed with flavor and so delicious. It’s mostly takeout, but they do have some seating inside, and although it’s small it’s very clean and comfortable. I can’t wait to come back!

Went to Motu's for the first time this weekend at the recommendation of a friend. I started to get a little flustered because I am used to table side / menu type service, but here, you enter your food order in on a kiosk. The owner came over and explained the various food offerings, spice levels and help guide me for a lunch that was absolutely perfect. Very friendly staff, food was terrific and the establishment was very clean. I will definitely visit here again. Great job. BTW, I frequent your downtown Springfield restaurant.

Checked this place out on their grand soft opening and they only had a couple of menu items and it was good but very limited. A few months has gone by since then and decided to give them a second shot and try their full menu and it was very good. My fam tried a few different entrees and appetizers and they were all awesome. Cant wait to go back

Now I was not expecting this little place to have so many solid items on their menu. Their lamb curry taco, sweet & spicy taco, and chicken curry bowl have the best flavors. What you have to try are their brookie and cookies & cream cookies. Yes, they make the best cookies that are a close favorite to Tatte bakery in Boston. Whoever is creating these cookies need to open bakery because they get the balance of sweetness and texture down. Also recommend getting extra onion chutney to have with whatever your heart desires.

The worst indian food I have ever had. It’s basically Fast Food. Cheap ingredients with very little Indian spices. Very bland. It’s also quite expensive for the quality and quantity you receive. I will not be going back ever. First, I only write critical reviews because a restaurant should create a great tasting meal at a decent price so because I eat out so often I choose to only write about the bad ones. I’m sure you have plenty of friends that write good reviews. 2nd, Come On your family eats the same food your serving to the public? No Way, I guarantee it. It was prepared in less than 2mins. That tells me it’s all pre made and assembled in back. I had a Costco refrigerated Indian dish that I put on the stove top and heated up that tasted about the same as your dish for half the cost. I also see you try to use trigger words like Family and Community in order to virtue signal on some level. Well as we all know there are plenty of bad restaurants out there that are family owned. Maybe your to smart for your own good by serving the perfect Super Fast food with speed and cost control with a disregard for the customer or maybe you think we are all idiots because your so smart. I recommend going to the supermarket or Costco for an Indian food night and saving $29.

Edited 1/10/24 : Decoded to try the same meal a second time today and was very pleased to find there was plenty of chicken and I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly but the naan seemed bigger. Everything was delicious. Changed to 4 stars. Original review: The food was delicious but definitely way overpriced. I got the Chicken Masala meal which was enough for a single person including a piece of Naan and a can of soda but the bill was over $18. For a place thats basically 100% take out with no ambiance and obviously very little overhead this price was way too much. I can get an order of Chicken Tikka Masala elsewhere for the same price and it would feed 2 or 3 people. Also there was not much chicken, it was probably 80/85 percent sauce. I will probably go again as its the closest Indian restaurant to my home but thats the only reason.

The food is not bad. I ordered online, got chicken tikka masala combo, naan, and mango lassi. The mango lassi is delicous and very generous portion. The chicken & rice combo is a bit smaller portion than i am use to however maybe it was because of ordering a "combo"? The food tasted good but felt like there was not really any spice at all (no option of spice levels ordering online or maybe i was blind ordering lol) This place def has potential to become a new favorite. I feel if they put a tad more of that sauce in the dish and added a more obvious spice level option when ordering and maintain their competitive pricing, they could def earn my 2 missing stars. Will 100% try them again though, probably dining in this time.

Amazing food and the rosé lemonade is to die for. I believe it’s made in house so that’s even better. The inside is very modern and they have kiosks to order as well as a register to order too. Food is very good and wait time was 15 minutes! The workers are super nice and friendly!

I'm glad that everyone else seemed to have a great experience with this place, we were not impressed and would not come again. Not many options on the menu, the chicken masala was bland in comparison to others that I have had. The workers were not friendly. Other places seem like a better option for a similar price point.

Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had. Everything on the menu is bomb, especially the cookies! Vibes are chill, service is great and ordering is so easy. I traveled two hours for their opening and I would do it again and again.

My boyfriend and I have been dying to check this place out and we finally did last night. The staff were SO nice and helpful with navigating their menu!!! The food came quick for takeout and the Paneer Egg Roll was absolutely incredible!!!! Can’t wait to eat here again!!!

The atmosphere is renown and could be one of the best restaurants in EL. They would have an outstanding outdoor venue if the town pitches in to enjoy the delicious food at the restaurant.

Very fresh ingredients, tasty food. We had one order of the butter chicken tacos and one order of the pani puri! Highly recommend both- get the tamarind sauce for both. Will definitely come back! On the pricier side, but worth the quality. Lassi was a great addition. Dined inside- clean and fresh.

This is a small but mighty restaurant in all ways. The food was excellent in an intermit setting. The small dining area was perfect for lunch.

I tried the sweet and spicy chicken taco and wings. The taco was crazy good with coconut shavings, habanero, and lots of flavor. A single taco was filling. Got convinced to try the cookies afterwards and glad I did, the strawberry cookie smacked and was soft.

First order tonight and did not disappoint! At first we tried to call to order since we had questions, but were quickly instructed we must order online but the gentlemen was very helpful with questions. We ordered their fried chicken wings, so glad we did! They were actually the BEST I've ever had. Crispy exterior, very moist and so flavorful! We did not need a sauce. Chicken masala bowls held ample servings of fluffy rice and chicken masala. We opted for no toppings and habanero sauce on the side. I like it spicy so i added a bit of that sauce on mine and was perfect to my taste. Wow that's hot stuff, so be careful. The chicken was tender and sauce flavorful and not over powering with spices. Well balanced. Hubby also ordered a sweet and spicy taco with pickled onions and desi salad toppings and was thoroughly impressed! Tons of flavor! All for $50! We couldn't finish it all! Really good Indian food simple and tasty food

Tried Indian food for the first time in my life and I really liked it. We came to this place at the recommendation of the commander in chief, my wife. I’m definitely gonna do this again.

Update: Went back again with my 10 year old who devoured the Masala Mac and Cheese! I ordered the Paneer Taco and was really impressed. The naan was soft and flavorful and the sauce was rich. I didn't know what paneer was and misinterpreted the white blocks in the picture for tofu. Turns out it's a firm cheese. I highly recommend, but do suggest they include descriptions with the food so those unfamiliar with the food know what everything is. It was all delicious, though! We'll definitely be back! Yum! The samosas are fire. Definitely try the lamb curry taco.. I can't wait to order again! Chef's kiss. Give it a try!

Absolutely love the indoor and digital aesthetics. Me and my family recently tried it we all absolutely loved it was a 100 out of 10. I had the chicken masala bowl and the rice and everything was amazing, Definitely my new fav. The drinks were so good too, I loved the mango milkshake and my family loved the mango lassi. My sis loves the tacos and said they were her new favorite. Customer service was amazing.

Amazing food that is reasonably priced for all that comes with it! I came in last night for the first time with my father in law and my daughter. She'd had a long and rough day, and brought in her favorite pokemon stuffy to make herself feel better. One of the staff members (I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name!) brought us our food, and also gave her his own pokemon card with the same pokemon on it! She just lit right up and couldn't stop talking about it all night! Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make a little girl smile! You've earned an immediately loyal and repeat customer!

We have been fans of Punjab Tadika, in Springfield for years. Well Motu is run by the same team and it is excellent! The delicious flavors of Indian cuisine in new and interesting presentations. I had the paneer taco and it was "off the chain" good. The naan is the same hot and fresh goodness that we expect from PT. The butter chicken taco made my wife hoot out loud with hapopiness after a bite. Go get yourself a meal at Motu. Do it.

Counter service style with great customer service! They have plenty of options for everyone. The gentleman recommended the #3 and it was delicious so was the rice bowl. We will be coming back.

The thought of another pizza, burger, pasta dish, taco, soup, sandwich or sushi offering holds no appeal & decades of the same stuff is no longer appealing. Motu Indian Kitchen is a cuisine that’s filled a flavor vacancy in the area. Just ordered Veggie Pakora, Wings and a Masala Chicken taco & had to jump on for an immediate/first impression review. Pakoras were your standard pakora of chick pea flour, onion and herbs and delicious. I enjoyed the patty shape over the more common balled style I’ve had in the past. The wings were perfection! Perfection! With nothing more than the way they came out of the box (no sauces or chutneys added) these wings hit every flavor profile - the right amount of salt, spice for flavor & not to overwhelm with heat, just acidic enough to cut through the richness & not dried out or over cooked in any way. Per.Fec.Tion. Lastly, I had a build your own taco that I based off their Butter Chicken Taco combo offering. Garlic Naan base was made of the most tender naan I’ve ever had. The dough had zero toughness to it and screamed FRESH. To this I added chicken masala, achari mayo, pickled onions, lettuce, desi salad and mint chutney. I’d attach a photo but all that is left is some runaway sauce and a few well used napkins. Just like the wings the combination of ingredients were beyond compare. Everything could not be more correct! Think comfort food mixed with your best friend’s sassiness, or a hug that makes your day better & puts a little skip in your step. Price was in line with what typical Indian food costs but I didn’t finish the wings or pakora so I was able to make 2 meals out of what I paid. This place deserves your money, go visit!
