Green chilli noodles were excellent, so also gongura dhal. Panneer tikka masala and vegetable kadai - i should have ordered spicy - they were too sweet for my taste. Courteous and prompt service . Will come back for more dishes ! Do try this restaurant.

The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! Exquisite Indian cousine that satisfied my culinary craving to the fullest in very satisfied and happy eating this delicious meal. I had the butter chicken is was soo yummy perfect for the whole family and then te kadai masala is sooo delicious as well, packed smooth so much flavor and many flavors, I loved it as well. This place is a much have. & the monchi soup is so tasty as well 😋 I’m definitely coming back this is some of the best food I’ve tried 😄

Good food and great ambience. We had Vijayawada Biryani, Noodles(street style, thin and soft) and fried momos. Must try Biryani(filled with spices) and momos.

Monk’s Restaurant in Pearland did a spectacular job in catering for a special event in Stafford Tx for over 170 people. The food was wonderfully delicious. The goat curry (specially recommended by Murali the owner ) was perfect! We also ordered chicken tikka , spinach daal curry , chettinaad paneer, wok tossed Hakka chicken noodles ! All dishes were 10/10! So so many compliments from our guests - and we had over 170 guests. The chai was soooo good ! Everyone loved it ! And most importantly we truly enjoyed working with Murali. He was gracious from the start and listened to what we needed and made great suggestions to accommodate our guests . He and his team arrived on time , served a full catered meal, and made sure things ran smoothly. Murali made the experience the best and even our parents noted how kind of man he is. We will definitely continue to order and cater from Monks Pearland ! Very highly highly recommend !!!

This place was amazing, we drove 20 minutes out here and it was so worth it, will definitely be coming back. Everything was good from the atmosphere to the food was amazing. Definitely the best north indian food in the houston area.

I had a disappointing experience at The Monks, due to the unprofessional behavior of the male staff. They were neither polite nor respectful, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. Despite the quality of the food, the dismissive attitude of the male employees overshadowed the dining experience. Customer service should be a priority, but unfortunately, it was lacking during my visit.

Our family came here on a Saturday night, and the food was delicious. The kids got butter masala and a sesame- ginger chicken dish- both delicious and very generous portions to be kids’ meals. My husband and I shared the masala and goat byriani- also very tasty. We will be back for sure!

My wife and I went to the monks for lunch. We could not be happier with it. The portion size are excellent the spice level at medium was the perfect for us and the recommendations from the waitress were perfect for us.

Food and service good but packing was off and i wasted 11 dollars lol.. no time So can’t go back.moms flavor is only slimy n oily due to oil spill. Wonder why they put oil in hot..plastic container melted due to heat. Other food is good so still good stars.

The waitress was so sweet to explain the menu to us and try to help us find dishes we would like. It helped us so much to order and we were very happy with our choices! We ordered mango lassis and they were the best we have had. The garlic nann not only smelled amazing but tasted amazing! We also ordered the chicken chettinad, and the street style noodles with eggs. Would absolutely come back!

Very delicious and filling. My boyfriend and I came had the butter chicken and another spicier dish. Both came rice, and we also got 2 orders of garlic naan. For the appetizer, we got the chicken lollipops that were also VERY GOOD. Service was great as well!

I tried the dynamite shrimp and butter chicken with rice and garlic na'an. I was in heaven with every bite! Fantastic!

I came from chicago and visited The Monk’s. The food is too good and environment is good. Service was excellent. Staff is so friendly.

Didn’t take any pictures of the food this time around, but I got food poisoning and I believe it has to do with the male host touching my rice with his bare hands. The food is okay, tastes similar to other Indian cuisine restaurants in the area. The male waiter/ host said I could not order from the kid’s menu… that’s fine, it’s their policy. I ordered the butter masala chicken and it came with rice. The waiter asked if we were ready to order almost immediately after he sat us down. When the waiter brought out my food the butter chicken spilled a little on the table and what irked me the most was that the waiter used his bare hands to cusp the top of the bowl of rice, touching almost the entire surface of the rice. I ate it anyways and am suffering the consequences later. The interior is nice and clean, but I believe the food practices are not. I thought this place would be better for such high ratings, but he asked at the end of the meal if we could rate the restaurant 5 stars for a free dessert. Initially I thought yes but then declined. Not worth it for the expensive price, IMO, especially since the portions are so small.

The food and the environment was absolute perfection. The servers were spot on and the food was delightful and full of flavor! We have no pictures because we ate everything! Even the kiddo (who is a bit picky) enjoyed the food! We will definitely be back for more date nights and family dinners!

We had the dynamite cauliflower appetizer that was incredible. We ate the sauce with naan haha I had the butter masala and it was incredible. Can’t wait to try other things in the menu! BEST indian food i had anywhere! From Singapore to Germany, and Texas. very authentic, super creamy, they use real spices, and the staff is very very friendly. I would recommend to check this place out if you are craving authentic Indian food. also, the price is very good.

Food was so good, very flavorful and homey . The Guli Gobi is a favorite of ours. Spicy and garlicky with a hint of sweetness. Try one of their biryanis! The garlic naan is tasty, but their biryanis have all been outstanding . They gave us a gulab jamun for posting an honest review. That was the best I’ve had, sweet with the rose syrup flavor that really carried through

Every dish is excellent. Their Gulli Goby is my favorite. Staff are attentive as well. It’s quickly becoming a norm to eat here.

We went there first time and when we entered we like the ambience and our expectations were very high for food and we ordered corn chat noodles Manchurian everything was so so delicious and later cherry on cake was they gave us Gulab jamun complimentary Excellent service We will definitely recommend others too Keep it up

i had jalfrezi and it was really good. the spice was perfect with the rice and amazing with the chicken. we ordered this with garlic naan and it tasted amazing with the food. the waiters are kind and patient and food arrives quick. the wait to be seated isn’t long either. the atmosphere is welcoming just like the people here. would recommend and will come again.

If you're looking for a place with friendly servers that make you feel comfortable and at home... this is not it. With that being said, their food is absolutely delicious.

Absolutely incredible. I had the garlic naan with veggie samosas and saag paneer. This is my favorite Indian meal and this is now my favorite Indian bistro. In Houston we don’t hurt for options, but here the rice was perfection, the saag paneer had a wonderfully balanced flavor and the samosas had just the right amount of spice when enjoyed with the fresh chutney. I’d give 10 stars if I could and I will be back again and again.

Hands down the best Indian food I have had in the US. Was in Houston for vacation and visited this place on couple of occasions. Top notch food and service on both occasions. Everyone in the family loved it. There spice levels are great. My favorite was Vijayawada Biryani(Hot spicy!!).

This was my first time coming here and the food was great! I had the chicken tikka masala, the chicken momo tandoori style, garlic naan, and veg pakoda. It was all delicious! I got the tikka masala spicy and it had the perfect amount of kick to it! I highly recommend and will be back for more!

Some amazing food in a good location with a nice atmosphere inside. My daughter was fascinated by the Bollywood videos, but my wife and I were fascinated by the food. It was very good, as good as any Indian food I've ever had. My highlight was the Momos.

Monks is the best Indian food in Pearland without a doubt. Took my sisters here from out of town and they loved it! Great to eat in or take out.

The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations!! The tikka fried rice and chicken tikka masala was great. Service was good and the staff are very friendly , always checking on us on how we are and if the food is to our liking. Definitely recommend this place.

After visiting for the first time a few months ago, I have been back almost weekly! I love the food here! I have tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to try something I don't like. My personal favorites are the Green chili Gobi, the burnt garlic rice and the Chili Garlic paneer! The flavors are so robust and authentic! I promise, visit and you will love it too

Our experience was exceptional. We both had house specialties and they both were very fresh and tasted amazing . The naan bread was a perfect compliment to the curry. We will definitely be back as this is the best Indian restaurant in the south Houston area .
