Amazing food - in a wonderful atmosphere. I thought the piano player was such a nice touch. Make the reservation- it was packed when I got there.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. High point was the basil ice cream. Out of this world taste and something you don't see anywhere else.

Just had 3 apatisers to judge from but the escargot was smothered in so much cheese that it masked the delicate flavor of the snails, the shrimp was dull and uninspired but the antipasto plate was a good blend of flavor and textures. My wife had the 24 oz ribeye and said it was good but not worth the money they charge. Overall, it is a good ambiance and excellent service but in my opinion for the money there are better food options.

It was very intimate setting my bf got us reservations and surprised me it was beautiful the waiter Kevin If I remember right was awesome he knew his stuff his history the menu gave great options he made our night great. We will be back. The live music was beautiful as well. Chad got the lamb chops and I got spaghetti and meatballs and it was a lot of food but great as well. Thank you for a great evening

This restaurant is amazing! I will never forget how good the food tasted in my mouth, but what we will remember most is our server Joe. His awesome personality, attention to detail, and kindness is something we really admired. It is rare to find such a classy and eloquent server like this. We had date night here everyone was so friendly and the drinks and dessert was good as well..The Piano guy was awesome, great entertainment.We'll be back again.... I highly recommend it for an intimate setting...

So you want to feel like a King or Queen? Well then you need to visit La Bistecca. The service is top notch and the food is just as special. My wife and I have eaten here roughly 4 times and never even remotely disappointed. Its not cheap (especially drinks at the bar) but the quality is 2nd to none. And trust me, you will walk away saying that it was worth every penny. So if you feel like treating yourself to something special….this is your place.

The beef is very good, but I do not like that they put maggi on it. It should be mentioned on the menu so you can order your steak seasoned only with salt and pepper

Reservation for 8pm on Friday night. Arrived at 7:55pm and we were seated immediately. Everything was top notch.. excellent old fashioned. Hands down, best escargot I’ve ever had. Our server Joe was professional and amazing, best service we have had at any restaurant in a very long time. Both pasta dishes we had for our entrees were excellent as well. We will definitely be back again. Oh and they had live music as well, another bonus! 5 stars all around 👍🏻

Phenomenal experience. Best calamari I've ever had. Just wish they included a few more pieces. Piedmontese beef was superb. Great atmosphere with the romantic lighting and live piano singer. Highly recommend.

Been here around five years ago, it was exceptional then. I recently broke my two year vegetarian time here because they have amazing steaks and chef(s). It was perfect; one of the best steaks of my life, the second time and after the two years no meat. Service was phenomenal, they have a perfect romantic atmosphere if you're looking for that. I took my sister mid-week and it was a few families there with us from what I saw. I took a beautiful partner there five years ago and we had an astounding romantic night. We had other staff and I think a manager in addition to our amazing waitress by our table; each to wait our table succinctly, serve serving dishes for the next course, etc. Never really noticeable time waiting for service, besides waiting for the steaks which is expected and welcome. A few fantastic table foods we hadn't ordered; fresh warm bread, chilled multi-bean vegetable dish of some kind which was delicious, roasted pepper purée in pure oil for the baked bread. I'll be getting steaks here solo and with dates regularly now that I'm eating meat again. Definitely one of the top steaks in Michigan I've found, the perfect piedmontese they source and the preparation are both stunning. Including their (I think wild) mushrooms and sautéed onions is nearly a requirement.

DATE TIME!! So we learned this is by far the place you go to; to wine and dine and NOT think about that dime! Service was spectacular and friendly! Atmosphere was spacious, clean but LOW light, dark. Food was fantastic, house salad we all agreed was DRY and the anti-pasta plate was disappointing, but! 3 apps, 6 entrees and 3 desserts; The most expensive piece of meat I ever ordered and DAMN was in worth every Penny! From the cocktails to the dessert, they DIDN’T MISS!

My wife, daughter and I went here for my birthday. The service was exquisite from the second we entered. The server accommodated my wife’s allergies and even recommended the best options for her. Every service person we interacted with was friendly and phenomenal. The owner even stopped by to make sure everything went well for our meal. This was probably the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. Cannot recommend this place any more highly.

The sausage and peppers were absolutely delicious as was every dish. Chrissy elevated our dining experience to perfection with our table being beautifully decorated to making it a fun and wonderful evening. We will definitely return.

This is just a whole experience! Staff is amazing, the food is to die for, and the atmosphere is a total vibe. The beef tips were delectable and incredibly tender. Try the creme Brule! You won't be disappointed.

We were celebrating my mother-in-laws 83rd birthday, she had dined with you several times...it was our first. We arrived to a table decorated with confetti, nice touch. Jasmina was our waitress, she was attentive and very focused on the birthday girl, that provided a nice touch. The food was incredible, having just traveled to Italy last summer...it brought back great memoires. Jasmina arranged for us to sit at the piano bar, WOW what an experience to cap the evening off.

12-14 tables available on a Friday night at 6PM. Old lady with a cane at the front doesn't like young people and acted like they were reserved. Used to go every other month but won't return because of her.

Went for my birthday a couple years ago and again tonight. Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. Excellent atmosphere, live music and incredible service.

Everyone on staff was phenomenal, we were well taken care of. The wine selection was fantastic. Then the food was incredible. I have a dairy allergy and they accommodated without hesitation every course of our meal. Look forward to coming back soon. Greatly appreciate the hospitality.

This place does customer service the right way. Top to bottom. Couldn’t get a table online, my friend gave them a call and got the owner on the phone. After what I was told was a pleasant conversation he was kind enough to squeeze us in. Upon arriving we were seated quickly and greeted by an extremely kind waiter. Not only was he very pleasant but his knowledge of the menu was second to none. Not only did he know everything there was to know about the menu but he even with into detail about where the ingredients were sourced from. I could go on for days about the service. We live in a time where service seems to be a bit of an afterthought but not here. The food. I’ve been fortunate enough to have dined at some of the best restaurants around the country and I have to say, if they don’t have some of the best dishes I’ve ever had they’re close. We will most definitely be back and if you’re on the fence about where you’d like to go for a birthday, anniversary, special event or just dinner on a Tuesday look no further. This is the place.

Many other reviewers have spoken of the tremendous hospitality and service at La Bistecca. We had a similar experience. Our waitperson, Jasmina (I hope I spelled that correctly) was attentive and the food arrived accurately and in a timely fashion. As for the food, I often find the appetizers the most interesting menu items. The special of the day was a tomato bisque that sounded too good to pass up. It had great flavor and texture, but it had too much salt for my preference. The flavor would have carried it with 1/2 the salt. One of our guests ordered the Brussels sprouts. They have a mustard in them, which I don't usually like, but it was a really good quality mustard and it didn't overpower the other flavors, so in spite of my dislike of that ingredient, I thought the sprouts were excellent and I'd highly recommend them as a starter (of course, bacon is almost cheating). Another guest likes to start with dessert, so she ordered the Tiramisu. This is another dish I don't usually order because I'm not fond of coffee. The coffee was very subtle and the whole thing was another hit! I particularly liked that it was very light and not overly sweet. The perfect balance! Two of us had the Frutti di Mare con Bucatini (I think this translates to fruit of the sea with Bucatini). I was baby scallops, shrimp, and bucatini pasta in a creamy pesto sauce. The seafood was cooked perfectly. It's easy to overcook shrimp, but these still had just the right amount of softness. The pasta was one of the best I've had -- not quite el dente, but it had a satisfying chew that you only get with freshly made pasta. The sauce had a complex flavor that would have stood on its own without so much cheese. To be fair, I didn't realize that there was cheese in it already, so when Jasmina offered me more, I took some before quickly realizing I didn't need it. Two other members of our party had veal and salmon. They both thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The lemon butter sauce on the salmon was rich and tasty. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and when I called ahead, they offered us a complimentary dessert, which they brought out with a candle. It was creme brulee, and one of the best I've had. The brulee was crisp, but not too thick and the creme was smooth and creamy without being too sweet.

SPECIAL shout out to Michael our professional server. The food is amazing and yes it is a bit pricy however like the saying goes you get what you pay for. Plan on a hundred a head with appetizers and deserts. Well worth it. Best meal we have had in sometime.

My wife and I were celebrating a belated Valentines day. The food was superb and the service staff treated us like royalty. We chose to sit at the bar which is intimate and quaint. The owner , chef Jerry stopped to chat with us to make sure we felt welcome. Would highly recommend this fine dining establishment for any occasion. it is now one our go to for special celebrations!

We held a private company event here, and I cannot speak highly enough about it! We customized the menu, the owner was wonderful and easy to work with, the service and food were impeccable. If you have a 50-60 person private event, do not overlook La Bistecca!

My husband and I just went here for a date night. We don’t get out too often, so we were looking for something nice. After a quick internet search, I stumbled upon La Bistecca. It had amazing reviews, so we decided to try it out. They did not disappoint! We were greeted by the owner, Jerry, who was extremely friendly and makes a point to get to know his customers. The service was phenomenal, and all the wait staff were amazing. Shout out to Michael, our server, who was great! All of the food was so delicious: the bread, the salad, the main dishes (we ordered the lamb chops and chicken Parmesan), and the amazing chocolate cake!! We can’t wait to come back! If you’re looking for a nice dinner date, you will love it here.

First time. Met the owner. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Already referred this restaurant to my brother and his wife.

As always, we arrived and were greeted at the door. They said the 5 orders of Escargot would be started as soon as we were seated ( as requested in our reservation ). We were there for a birthday celebration. We sat down to a beautiful table with rose shaped napkins, and our waitress greeted the birthday girl. The Escargot came out and, as usual, was the freshest and most delicious you can get. The fresh bread with the dipping oil and bean dip is fantastic, and we absolutely love it. We all had salads that were freshly made that were also top-notch. Our main meals were beef tips, sea bass, and a seafood melody. When they arrived piping hot, it was just amazing as always. The plating is beautiful and looks like a picture. I wish someone would have taken one. The girls all had a dessert and loved them. We came here 2 years ago for our anniversary and have continued to make this our go-to place for special occasions. From the time you are greeted at the door until you leave, it is one of the best experiences and most Fantastic meals you will ever have. Thank you again to the owner and staff for making this another Great evening

La Bistecca always delivers. Everything was perfect!

This was my wife and I first visit. We were celebrating our 42nd anniversary and our son suggested we try the place out. We got there a little early and that was no problem. We seated and the waiter was right on top if it. They brought us ice water that never empty. Are order was taken everything was delivered in a timely manner. The waited helped my wife pick the perfect wine. I had my usual bottle of beer which both time came with a chilled glass.Are appetizers came and were delicious. They gave us just enough time to savor and enjoy, then came the soup and salad, once again they gave us the right time to eat it. And then the best part the dinner itself. The wife ordered the 6 Oz filet minion, which was cooked to perfection. And myself had to try the spaghetti with meat ball's once again perfect. Even though we did not let them know that it was are anniversary. They still did an outstanding job. Would highly recommend this place.

Our meals consisting of beef filets were perfectly prepared and the Parmesan risotto were both delicious. The venue is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment in the bar after dinner. The restaurant was full yet we were able to have a conversation in a normal tone of voice which is a rarity. Service was great which added to making the entire evening a wonderful experience.

Solid! A great selection of wine and cocktails. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and the lamb chops were among the best I have ever had. The shrimp and scallop pasta in pesto and dried tomatoes was phenomenal.

After being seated and waited on a party of 6 people were seated near us. It was a loud (yet happy) party but would have liked to have a quieter seating arrangement. Overall great experience!
