Food was excellent you can't go wrong

We’ve driven by here a thousand times and finally had a chance to go in for dinner tonight! Everyone in our party had different entrees and desserts, and no one was disappointed! I personally recommend the ravioli aurora and the peanut butter pie! We will certainly be back!

We came in as a party of 5, no reservation. We sat upstairs. The size of this place is very deceiving from the outside. We had duck,steak, pork chop,crab dip,crab cakes, regular salad, fre and Cesar salad. Everything was amazing, the service was fantastic from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back. Sorry I forgot to take photos! Very good website. A must try!

Try the veal - it's the best in the city

Oh my goodness. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better it did. I had the Ravioli Aurora this time. De-licious! Had another gathering this month. I've had the Pasta La Campagnola 3 times it's so good. My friend had it on my recommendation. It didn't disappoint, he loved it. Added the pappardelle pasta option - fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Service was great too.

Excellent food and service. I gave one less star because the food not as good as it used to be. The chicken parmesan is not as tender as it was and the crab cakes are not as good. The pasta and tomato sauce are amazing.

Haven't had a bad meal yet. Wine dinners have been awesome from the food selection by Michael to the wine pairings by Mark with Opici Family Distributors.

Good and service were exceptional. We ate outside so we didn't have to wait for a table. Unfortunately that came with sooooo many flies.

Always great food, service, and atmosphere. Menu has everything, classic Italian dishes, great chops, seafood, to the more casual cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks. The 7 pepper tuna is amazing!

It was our first time there. Had a cozy table near the fireplace. Dominique was a wonderful waitress. Food was delicious and well paced. The crème brûlée ‘was to die for’. A wonderful finish for a 31st anniversary outing.

If you have never had Patrick as your server then you need to come back and request him, absolutely the best.

Food was amazingly good but not sure it justified the price of it. Service and staff were polite and very helpful with descriptions of the food dishes.

Go at least once a month. Got class casino and pizza (pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms thin crust always good. Crust could be crisper. Always have half to take home toaster oven crust comes out perfect.

The food is very delicious and the service is very good, I recommend this place for any occasion.

After spending the day at a winery decided on an impromptu dinner here. $525 +$100 tip the food was good, our waitress and the bartender were nice but the stares and nasty looks from people seated at the bar and in the restaurant was very off putting! I know it’s not the restaurants fault but my family and myself will never go back! If my son did not get a video of the one guys staring at us with a look of pure hatred I wouldn’t have believed it since my back was to him.

Love this restaurant - it helps that it’s right down the road and only spot to eat in Shamong lol, but honestly the food is beyond amazing and the atmosphere is always positive. The staff and owners are amazing as well. This place is a must!!! (Also get the espresso martini - you’ll thank me)

My wife and I went there for our anniversary and were given a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. Our meals were delicious, the service was impeccable and the bill was reasonable. We will be back in the near future.

Valentine’s Day dinner was delicious! We had apps, soup & salad. When my meal came out - I was full, so I tasted everything and it was amazing! Full service was excellent. Highly recommend!

I ordered a $34 seafood entree. The scallops were not seared just mushy in all’s vodka sauce and the three shrimp in the dish still had tails on. Staff was nice tho

The Pasta is nothing special the meat sauce tastes like an olive garden sauce and the atmosphere is very dark not good lighting and too expensive ..... I would rather go to Maplewood with the home made pasta and meatballs for the price of them much better quality than La campagnola

Great Italian food and nice bar.

La Campagnola left an indelible impression on our evening out. Treating my wife and mother-in-law, I savored the delectable French onion soup and garlic steak with a side of baked potato and onion rings – a true culinary delight. My wife opted for the gnocchi, while my mother-in-law enjoyed the classic chicken parm. The array of alcoholic beverages perfectly complemented our meals, and the desserts, especially the cookie skillet, were beyond heavenly. The attentive service and inviting ambiance made it an evening to remember. I wholeheartedly recommend La Campagnola for an exceptional dining experience.

The entire staff was excellent and the food, of course, was delicious. I had the duck which was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were spot on. Can't wait to go back.!

We have been coming here for about 10 yrs have never been disappointed. We were here last night for a family event with a party of 9. Patrick killed it as a waiter super attentive and just great. The food as always was out of this world. Could not have been happier!??

First, don’t take away from the fact that Chef Michael is an amazing chef and his dishes are superb. The staff, incl the bartenders, who I have come to know so well, are terrific and wonderful people. My issue is with the management and ownership who continue to raise prices to an exorbitant amount out of greed, not struggle, as they own the two Riviera pizza shops in the Medford area. It is sad what greed and avarice does to people, and sadly I will not be frequenting this place anymore. The people I befriended and the staff as well will be sorely missed. It’s a shame when the almighty dollar outweighs the loyalty and return customers the establishment has. They’re plenty of other places to go, and that’s where I will be heading. Thank you to the greedy owners for putting dollars ahead of quality and repeat business. Shame on you. I’ve supported your establishments since my college days, but I guess enough is not enough. Hope you revel in your money, because your ethics and business practices are deplorable.

The pumpkin martinis are always delicious as is the daily crab soups.

After working for a week and a half helping our friends pack up for their final move to Florida, they wanted to do something special for us to say thank you. Living out in the farmland of South Jersey there is a dearth of fine dining. After a bit of thought we decided upon La Campagnola in Shamong Township. Having lived in Shamong for 20 years prior to moving 'closer to civilization' 23 years ago we witnessed and tested many of the configurations and reconfigurations of this dining spot. The Tosti Family finally gave up the ghost after decades of devotion to this obscure location. The new ownership moved in with a complete renovation of the space and while maintaining the Italian theme developed a significant upgrade to the Italian offerings and added top notch meat and seafood entrees. The chefs are first-rate. There is a substantial bar with full service, and the wine offerings are well selected to fit a range of tastes and pocketbooks. Our food that night included two classic Italian dishes, both superbly prepared and a surf and turf of filet mignon, lobster and crab. We started the meal with a delicious Maryland crab dip and prosecco to toast the completion of our 10 days of packing. In all our leisurely 2-1/2 hours of dining was delightful with one mishap. For dessert two chocolate volcanoes were enjoyed by the four of us, but I never received a lemon cake that I ordered. My coffee arrived but no lemon cake. I was substantially sated by the time we arrived at dessert, and the lemon cake did not appear on the check, so I did not make an issue of it. All things considered, if you are cruising south or north on Route 206 through Shamong Township around dinner time sometime in the future a one-minute detour to the west will serve you pallete and hunger well. You will certainly enjoy La Campagnola.

The absolute BEST penne vodka I've ever had.

I was in here earlier. My server Amanda was the most adorable young lady I had seen in a long time. Polite, very accommodating, and beautiful to top it all off. Food was good, service was excellent. Will be back.

It was a fun restaurant. It's very pretty inside with fresh flowers on every table. My whole family got the chicken parm, and we all thought it was good. There was a live band when we were there, and people were dancing.

This was my husband's and I first time here today. The tuna, crab 🦀 dip and French onion 🌰 soup 🍲 were absolutely delicious 😋. The waiter was excellent and right on point. Definitely going back for dinner 🍽 in the near future!

I have visited this restaurant more than a dozen times, and I always look forward to coming back. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening and the food is absolutely delicious. The service is fast. Please make sure you try pizza bread that comes in a basket of two types of bread. It's delicious. There is also a bar and drinks available inside. If you have a seat in the dining room, be careful not to sit close to the air conditioner vent. For some reason, it blows cold air into the tables. Personally, I wouldn't say I liked that feeling. There are seats outside from June 1st, which is a great place to be. They also have live music I don't know what days, but you can check the calendar. The restaurant has some good vegetarian options. Update 2023-05-17 Again 5/5 starts!

Fantastic! Every course was perfect our new favorite restaurant. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Drinks were spot on. We had calamari fritti, clams casino, chicken melenaise, pasta with shrimp scallops in vodka. And tiramisu was incredible. Best Italian in South jersey.

We've been here previously and, for the most part, had good experiences. Our last visit was a Monday evening. It was my wife's birthday and I took her out for dinner. It seemed the freshness and quality of food was lacking. We don't know if the food was leftover from the weekend or what, but it was not good. We were both disappointed.

On certain nights they have live entertainment. The food is excellent as is the staff. Well worth the trip. Reservations are highly recommended.

Food & service is amazing every time I've been there

Made reservations for 5:15 12-2-2022 we were seated next to the bar area by the entry very noisy people arriving without reservations were placed upstairs away from the bar and band I had to turn my hearing aids off after food arrived the waitress disappeared until the meals were eaten. Quote the Ravin NEVER MORE at this overrated place.

I've been to La Campagnola multiple times over the last few years. They have some of the most memorable food around. Excellent dishes, drinks and service. If you've never been here you definitely should try them out. They do get busy so I'd reccomend a reservation.

Always great food, service and atmosphere at this restaurant. We drive out of our way to go here as food is always good. They have a great French Onion soup 🍲 also. Additionally, if they have all the ingredients, they will make you chicken cacciatore off the menu and it is delicious.

First time here. Party of six. Service , food,drinks all better than expected. When we arrived parking lot was full. We had reservations and got inside. Pleasantly surprised how big this place is. Seated at our reservation time. Waitress and bussers were awesome. Food was just as good Pleasantly surprised as cost , very reasonable as we had several steaks and lots of cocktails in our party . Will definitely be back.

What could I say there is no more to say everything they do is perfect

If you are going to have a party or event in Shamong look no further, LC is the place. Food was great, quality everything, wonderful service, well organized, no need to worry everything is handled for you. We thought about renting a place and having it catered but this was so much easier, better, and saved us a ton of money. La Campagnola was a great place for a party.

La Campagnola is one of the best dining experiences in southern NJ. I have never been dissatisfied by any option on the menu - meaning I’ve had just about everything to choose from and left with a smile on my face. The staff is wonderful, every time. Live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is quite the show. The dinner specials from Head Chef Michael are always worth trying! I will greatly miss this quality of food when I’m at college. See you in the fall, LC!

Went to celebrate my friends 50th! party of 11! Reservation at 7 and didn’t get meal til 930. They Claimed they were “short staffed” they apologized profusely and we were gracious and understanding, however when we finally went to sing happy birthday with a cake we brought in they had the nerve to tell us there is a “cutting fee” I’m sorry you took over 2.5 hours to serve dinner and couldn’t throw in cutting our cake?!?! NEVER again! You clearly don’t understand service recovery or customer service

2nd time here and still delicious!

My husband and I, as well as friends and family, have been going to “LC” for a decade now. It’s been one of our favorite places. We always loved the bar in particular, which was friendly and warm with great bar pizza and great drinks. Lately the bar is far from what it used to be. On our last trip (which happened to be my birthday) my husband and I were totally ignored by the bartender and the bar pizza was inedible. Not just bad but inedible. The crust was obviously frozen and the cheese was like bubble gum, which couldn’t be chewed and had to be spit out! Why? Just charge more and make a decent pie!! If one can’t enjoy the bar experience it’s not worth chancing a full meal again. Such a loss, shame.

Our Motorcycle Club stopped here for lunch and they were very accommodating for our group of 13. Service and food were very good, and I'd definitely come back.

Let me just start by saying from the second we walked in we felt extremely welcome here, as if we entered the home of a relative. We were sat and treated to a free appetizer as it was our first time dining here. Every single thing we ordered from apps to entrees to martinis were fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit.
