Had the chicken burrito Chili Verde and wife had steak and cheese burrito. Excellent in both cases.

Enjoyed the food and drinks. Great place, good prices and very close to Manchester Airport. Perfect to unwind before or after a flight.

I hadn’t been to LaCarreta for a while and was happy to find that they have not changed the quality and prices I remember. I recommend this restaurant highly and it is very family friendly.

My family and I really enjoy coming to La Carreta, in my opinion it's one of the best Mexican restaurants around, service is always with a smile and the food never disappoints. Great menu, loads of drink options too. My last visit was for my mother in laws birthday, we didn't even say anything, the waiter was just good at his job and prior to leaving, the whole crew surprised with a sombrero and sung happy Birthday (in Spanish of course) great touch. My son loved it, Thank you.

Good and friendly service. Incredibly bland sub par food (dry and bland chicken, fried fish was tiny chunks that were more batter than fish). Chips and salsa were ok. Not worth a repeat

Edit: Had lunch there today, and was somewhat disappointed. Still good food, but not as much flavor. My friend also thought the food was not as good as in the past. Never had anything there that wasn't good, and most of it's great. Love the Santa Fe Nachos. And they have great flan. Service is fast and friendly.

Place for all Family, Mexican culture food

Always Delicious Food and Great Service...Been Going There For Years

Have eaten here many times and overall enjoyed our experiences. Most recently my wife and I ordered food to take home as we weren't really in the mood to sit in a restaurant. I ordered a Combo 4 plate and she ordered a Combo 25. When we got the food home, we honestly couldn't tell who's food was who's as everything looked the same and it was all thrown together in undivided round containers. My dinner was supposed to come with 2 soft tacos, an enchilada and a tostada. I was missing one taco, and the one I did get was open and lining the bottom of the food container, with the enchiladas on top of one-half and EVERYTHING coated in queso. My tostada was packed in another tin and was ice cold even though my other food was hot. The Combo 25 plate my wife ordered was supposed to come with a burrito and an enchilada. Neither of us could tell which was which. My wife also got a chicken quesadilla to share and it wasn't grilled, had almost no cheese on it and came packed on top of a pile of refried beans which made everything soggy and messy to eat. Food didn't taste fresh and we both felt kind sick after eating. Overall a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to locally. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Portions are pretty large and the vibe was chill. The only complaint I can think of was that the music was a bit too loud but not to the point where you couldn't have a conversation. But that's just me nitpicking. Parking fills up fast so just be wary of that. Also plenty of vegetarian options.

Ambience, service is good. Very vibrant and jovial staff. Price is decent. I was very disappointed with the food. I have had Mexican in lots of place. This place was the worst. Bean was very good. Rice was ok. Our dishes were vegetarian 1) cheese enchiladas 2) Tamales 🫔 Both had a tomato sauce which was very tangy. Tamale had a weird taste as if it’s spoilt. 3) Vegetarian F option had mash potato enchiladas, burrito and mushroom quesadillas. It was very salty. Spinach burrito was also severed like enchiladas. Mushroom quesadilla was better compared to others. 4) vegetarian B option was Ok.

Food was Luke warm , and well 1st time was upset with food , and service was verry slow ... Oh well hope next times better!

Delicious food! One thing I didn't like there front desk services. They told us to wait for 40 minutes but they didn't call us back. After one hour we asked them again and they told us to wait 20 more minutes.

Was here on the weekly planned date night. This was our first time here. I got the Grilled Chicken & Birria Street Tacos & my date had the Shredded Chicken Quesadilla. The flavors of the food was amazing, but the chicken on both our dishes tasted dry and/or reheated. This location was very busy on a Wednesday. There was Trivia & the Celtics playoff game this night, so the kitchen must have been making ingredients in batches. That or food sat under heat lamps too long. Despite this, service was good. We plan to return again.

I love La Caretta. I've been going there for 30 years! The staff are always nice and courteous. Try the chicken burritos "a la carte" with a side of rice. Soo good

We ordered our meal through door dash and then went to pick it up. We were handed one bag from the staff in the restaurant and once we got home we realised a large part of our order was missing. When we rang the restaurant they had zero interest in helping us resolve the issue and instead told us to ring door dash instead. Despite it being due to them not handing us our full order. We didn’t even receive an apology. Appalling service. Will not be returning.

Good mexican food, tried pollo ranchero was spicy and chicken was cooked well not dry. Virgin mohito is also good. Chips are crispy. Service was great.

Went there for a late lunch/early dinner. We were immediately seated, and someone immediately handed us chips and salsa. About two minutes later, our waiter came by to get our drink order. The waiter was great and was very attentive to our needs. The food came out quickly and hot. The service was wonderful, and everyone was very pleasant.

I don't know why this restaurant got 4+ star ratings in google. The food is below average and I definitely do not recommend this restaurant for a reason!! The food is not tasty and Authentic Mexican. I have ate at almost 100+ Mexican restaurants and this is the worst one ever.

Great place to eat with the family. The service is excellent. Very friendly and polite, the food is really good, overall great and very very attentive. Place is very clean even the restrooms are very clean!! Will definitely come back with the family if I’m in the area!! Lunch for 5, 2 were children.

This place is absolutely terrible. I ordered $100 worth of food and only received 3/4 of it. What I did receive was incorrect and when I called to get the food that was missing/ incorrect the “general manager” basically told me “ oh well” and implied that I was lying about the discrepancies saying she “packed the bags herself”. Never ordering from here again and I sure hope you don’t either. Save your money or order anywhere else!

Having spent a lot of time in CA, AZ, and TX, we learned what good, authentic Mexican food should be. Living on the East Coast, however, it can be a little hit or miss. La Carreta was a nice surprise! The food is yummy, and the service is great! We have been here twice and have enjoyed it both times. The queso fundido with chorizo is tasty! My husband thoroughly enjoys their chile relleno. The chicken enchiladas are good, too. The mole' sauce doesn't have the rich depth of flavor I would prefer, but it's still a solid choice. One of our favorite things on the menu is the tiered margarita -- pick your tequila, add a grand marnier floater, and have a yummy cocktail. Great way to offer options! Overall, this busy restaurant will stay on our "must go" list whenever we are in the area. One thing... each time we arrived before 5:30 and were seated immediately. One visit was on a Saturday, and by the time we left, they had quite a queue waiting for a table. Timing can be everything.!

Okay I need to speak up. “Many vegetarian options” is bull. Even if you try to build a vegetarian option out of the combination menu they slap you with extra charges for each vegetarian choice. I have been coming here for about 20 years and I am fed up. There is no reason a bean burrito needs to cost $2 more than a chicken or beef burrito.

Got take our and asked for no sour cream and beans and was loaded with both. Ruined the meal!

By far the best Mexican food I've ever had. Service was outstanding. The food came quick and so much of it don't think of it's going to be little I'll add a side and extra taco's I had 3 plates off food so did the other 2 people with me they had to slide a table over to accommodate all of the food . We are it all and being we had 2 of the 3 people has birthdays they brought out a cool desert fried torta shell with cinnamon and sugar and honey. It's was all so delicious 10 out of 10 hands down .. we will be back new favorite place

I traveled from Boston to try and find a good Mexican restaurant and ended up here. We were a group of 16 people and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We ordered the Micheladas which was one of the best I have had. It was made with fresh draft beer. Being a part time bartender, I have ordered them in every Mexican place and been disappointed but this place nailed it. The nachos and salsa were fresh and delicious. For the main we ordered the El Jefes burrito and it tasted amazing. Ask for a side of their hot sauce for a nice kick, packed some for home as well! We also got a pork quesadilla which was not the greatest. Very mild flavour but with the hot sauce it was good. The beans and rice that came along tasted good as well. Our friends also got some strawberry margaritas which were def extra on the tequila pour, how they should be. Our server was the best, she was super helpful and friendly with the recommendations and had all orders out correctly and on time ! Definitely coming back !

Thank goodness for our friends company at our table as the rest of our visit had a bit to be desired. Staff seemed bothered that we had a reservation and they had to seat us it the quieter area.

Food was average to above average. Guacamole was not worth the charge. Quesadilla was decent, taco salad was a miss. Biggest issue was poor service, wait staff was not super attentive and didn't listen to requests, i.e. asked for no rice in taco salad but still had rice.

The waitress was not pleasant and refused to give me warm tacos when they were BRICK cold. We argued and she rudely said “that’s how they are” I love La Caretta but I will not be back based on this treatment. I hope she gets a grip.

Love their veggie Fajitas. Ask for making it extra well done. Will go there again.

Highly recommended. Great Mexican food in a laid back, no frills setting. We enjoy the fajitas and the carne asada, and the servers are very friendly. Ask for a virgin Passion Fruit Mojito. It's wonderful!

AWESOME Mexican place with an extensive tequila menu , I tried the ceviche and although it was slightly small I enjoyed it very much! If your coming here please enjoy the Tequila!

It's been years since I last visited La carreta and I remembered why it's such a great Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and their portions are designed to take home leftovers. The staff is super friendly and quick. We had to around 10 minutes and glad we waited. I had chorri pollo and wow the flavor is amazing. Forgot to tell that what makes them stick out from the crowd is their salsa and chips that you get when you wait for your dishes.

Was so excited to try a new Mexican place. First quesidilla I got was literally sittingnin a plate of oil so they re-made it. Second one I realized that although they bill themselves as “authentic” they make their food with American cheese. I spoke to the server to confirm. Do not even bother not sure how they are in business.

Food & atmosphere was great! Service was poor which disturbed the entire experience. Multiple missed items from the time we were seated. Would not recommend.

They charged us extra for removing chicken and adding veggies. The person who took the order told us ahead of the time so it was not a total surprise. No other places do that.

Food comes out quick, always good

This is one of the "old reliable" Mexican places on Daniel Webster Highway in South Nashua (the other is Hacienda Del Rio, though La Carreta always seemed more popular). The only other Mexican option on DW is La Santa, in the old Carraba's location, over the border into Tyngsboro, but that always seemed a bit more upscale, not your standard cookie-cutter Mexican. The food at La Carreta is always good, and the service is good and fast. The issue I do have with it is that while the prices are going up (no surprise there!), the portions are getting smaller. Tonight I ordered the Chicken Fajitas. Where 3 or 4 tortillas is standard with fajitas, including at La Carreta in the past, now they give only two, though they did bring two more when I complained. Tortillas are cheap and highly visible, not a good item to cut. There was also no rice, and the fried ice cream is smaller than it used to be. That said, in all fairness, it's still a good restaurant.

Good Mexican food, go for luncheon menu for reasonable prices. Service is prompt but the atmosphere is noisy.
