THE BEST PLACE EVERRRR I come here like once a month or two months The prices are reasonable, they're not crazy, to be honest you could spend what you spend in McDonald's here and get a full meal. It's so cozy and the service is so great I love it, never had an issue in all the time I've come here. And the food is absolutely amazing and aesthetic and when you're full you don't feel bloated, you feel satisfied. The food feels and tastes natural and fresh you can totally tell it's homemade. Best place, if you have any doubts on going there, don't. Just go and it's the best decision you'll ever make

I had a fantastic dining experience at La Famiglia Our server, Berenice, was exceptional! She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her warm hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience.

Terrible service!! The server clearly didn't want to work that day, she only took drink and appetizer order when I told her to come back so we could order the main course. The food took forever to arrive, not to mention getting the wrong order... Ambiance is the only thing saving this place because the food was not worthy of "traditional Italian food..." the purpose of going to a restaurant is to eat something you enjoy in a way you usually wouldn't do at home but damn...by no means I'm a professional chef, but I make better food at home for my wife! That place needs to go under new management and hire better people and a better chef.

They should train all waiters equally. It can't be possible that only the Venezuelan guy is the only waiter who pays attention when taking an order, he was attentive and friendly. The rest of the staff is unaware of customer service. A black-haired girl served me, she didn't pay attention to the order, she brought me another meal because she got confused, I told her not to worry because we all made mistakes. However, instead of having a humble attitude and trying to correct his mistake, on the contrary, his attitude was rude when bringing the second dish (correct order), he brought the pizza and with a bad attitude, he served the pizza on the silver tray, She was not even polite in serving the first piece on the plate as a token of her apology for having left me waiting more than an hour and a half for a dish that she confused. On the other hand, I respectfully suggest that the chef improves a little in terms of the seasoning of the dishes served in white sauces. The ones he makes in red sauce look good, but the ones with white sauce are too tasteless, the seafood has to be seasoned extra and that is not the idea when receiving a dish, they must all be of excellent quality.

I did not make a scene that is not my style “I begged” meaning I kindly asked the waiter to ask if we could just have plain pizzas for the kids. It was 10:30 and the restaurant was full. I was only hoping for a better outcome EDIT 3 Thank you for adding your response back again. It proves this place is just not good enough. My husband was in the door before me with my son. Once again, you had the opportunity to do better yet you choose to still keep this response instead of apologizing. Going down to 1 Star ! EDIT 2 You deleted your kind response. No worries I have it here. EDITED: yes we did come late but it was 10:20 my mistake, there was more than enough time to make a few pizzas. Kids were starving. I literally begged. The restaurant was full and a large table was available. You clearly have no kids and have poor customer service, and you think banning me looks good on here. I’m sorry but that is not a good way to respond publicly. I stand corrected, my husband walked in at 10:20 and by 10:30 everyone was standing inside and waiting to be seated. I hope that anyone reading this knows that if this is their favorite place be there early or you will not be able to have dinner. Or be banned. That was a bit much specially because I do enjoy the restaurant but that’s ok I can live with that. You have to live with this on here. I hope that whoever own this place reads this and works on improving the management skills of employees. If this is how management/owner or family owned take care of customers now that is something to stay away from. We had dinner next door and the food was great and the customer service was 5 stars. I came here with a group of friends after a game with kids, walked in at 9:20 waited for a few minutes to be greeted then was told to wait again and then after 10 more minutes was told they would not be able to accommodate us because kitchen was closed. Kids were hungry and we just wanted pizza. Been coming here for about 12 years. Sorry you just lost a client and gained a bad review.

Delicious food, great attention, awesome atmosphere

The atmosphere is really great and feels like you are in trattoria in Italy. Really enjoyed the Risotto alla Pescatora. The fried calamari were ok, a little dried.

Horrible online ordering system. Chicken piccata defaults with side of vegetables. Never, in any authentic Italian restaurant it's default with vegetables. $10 additional to change the order. Horrible service.

The food here is genuinely good, it’s like those type of restaurants where you’re shocked at how good the food is, for me I got the baked lasagna and believe me, every bite was met with deliciousness and hit my expectations. Miss Bernice, our server, was amazing and very friendly. The decoration of the place felt close to my heart (in a way of the decoration being cute!). And honestly, the star of the show was the tiramisu. Personally for me, I LOVE coffee flavored dishes, and every bite of this tiramisu was just so good! I must say, this restaurant might become one of my favorites. I would definitely come back here for my birthday or other occasions!

From start to finish, a very good experience. The restaurant has a warm, cozy, and yet open atmosphere. The service is welcoming and professional, with just enough attention to make the evening pleasant without being overbearing. The food? Totally the star of the show, and they have ample variety of healthier options. My only complaint is that I was told the Carbonara is made using cream and Parmigiano-Reggiano, but authentic Carbonara uses NO cream. It is supposed to be made with eggs, Pecorino Romano, and pasta water, which produces a creamy sauce naturally without added cream. The server did say that they use pancetta, which is an acceptable substitute for the guanciale that the recipe calls for, as guanciale is hard to come by. I hope that they'll consider altering the Carbonara recipe to be more Roman authentic, but for now, I'll order other things like the delicious chicken and vegetables dish I had (pictured). My fiancé got the Pasta Alfredo, and we all got a white pizza to split, which was absolutely delicious! We will be back for sure. Highly recommended (but please consider making the Carbonara authentic!).

We recently visited the area and came upon La Famiglia Italian Restaurant. The veal was great, Ashley, our server, was excellent and the garlic rolls and pistachio Tiramisu were incredible. We went back for pizza and had the tiramisu . . . again. 🤌🏼🇮🇹

Enjoyed this lovely restaurant with great service and excellent food. The garlic rolls truly stood out although the salmon was awesome too. Would definitely recommend it for nice atmosphere as well. The old Italian style was also added ambiance.

I have never had a negative food experience from La Famiglia. Whoever made the pizza today did an excellent job. The crust was really great and taste better.

Always liked going to this place but today is my last time my husband asked for a $17 Sausage & Spaghetti and they charged $11 extra to add onions and peppers I don’t mind paying extra for added items but $11 was ridiculous!!

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a dinner after the Home Show at City Centre. Seated right away. Staff even bussboys extremely courteous. 2 Meatball appetizer perfect. Tender, not too spicy. Red Sauce had a great tomato taste. My girl finished her ravioli before I could taste. But Fettucine with meat sauce was excellent. Loaded with meat. This place is worth a trip back..Even two or three trips back.

Thanks to Berenice, we had a blast and enjoyed our after graduation lunch celebration with the whole family. Awesome place.

We had dinner yesterday. The food was great as always, these guys are the very best with italian food 👌. It has the perfect fluffynes, flavor, and garlic sauce, just perfect 💯 . Also a few customers were being too loud. The bill was surprisingly cheap for what I was expecting as we were a large group. Oh, and the dinner knives aren't cutting well.

Family owned, great atmosphere, people, and food.

Aesthetics inside the restaurant were very nice. Our server was great. She gave us the specials and was very descriptive about them. We ordered the calamari appetizer. The marinara sauce was yummy. Ordered the shrimp francaise. It was good. It comes with linguini. I would've preferred a lighter pasta. Either way, I'll be going again to try another dish.

Long overdue post - La Famiglia is our family staple, so much so that we come in order once a week and it is amazing every time. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, the staff have become friends, and the atmosphere never disappoints. We are proud regulars and tell everyone we know about this place. Try everything - it's worth it!

I don't give it five stars because after a while outside I entered and asked the waiter who had been out for a while if there were no people serving outside. He told me that I had to notify inside. not in a very cordial way. First time I've seen a restaurant that has outside tables and doesn't have a waiter to take care of the outside tables. that you have to go inside. And I also thought the calamari starter was a little expensive, $17 dollars for such a basic dish. In short, everything is very good, I will return.

Enjoyed a very nice dinner before heading off to a concert at the Cultural Center nearby. We had Calamari as a starter, very good not chewy. I had the Lasagna and my friend had the Baked Ziti which were both delicious and some of the best Italian I've had in Broward. Portion sizes were generous and our dinners came with salad and garlic rolls so we left there very satisfied. I look forward to returning as everything including the service was so great.

The tables are glass but under the glass is a tablecloth that is clearly stained all over, not a pretty view. The food is so mediocre you can easily make their food at home and it’ll probably taste better. They probably get their ingredients from Walmart.

Nice place, not a formal atmosphere. The food was very good. I really liked the chicken parm. The pizza was very good as well.

So much more food than I was expecting. I'm so full! The salad was absolutely delicious. The caesar salad dressing with so good and creamy. The garlic knots are perfect and crispy yet soft. I had the lasagna and I definitely do not regret it. It's enough for 2 to 3 servings

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Broward County you walk in here and you could feel the Italian atmosphere I have tried many dishes here and they all have been good I've always wanted to try the pizza because I see that it looks exactly the way I like them New York style haven't had a chance to do so because every time I walk in there I try a different dish you won't be disappointed a secret little gem in Broward County you must come here

We have been here several times, with friends, family, and on a date night. The food is always excellent, the staff is great, and it's a good, low-key, casual neighborhood place.

What a delight! We have found our new favorite Italian restaurant. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. And the prices are completely reasonable. Four of us split a medium pizza, had starter salads, garlic rolls, full chicken main dishes with pasta and one side order of meatballs- plus a glass of wine- and the bill was $60 per couple before tip. ,Right now the location is great. I fear that once the town center is finished it will be difficult to get in to this spot. Hopefully not.

We visited a few times with our family while we were in the area and it was a great experience every time (3 dine in, one take out). Great service and the food was fantastic. Best pizza we’d had since visiting my relatives in Napoli. The seafood pasta fish is absolute loaded with seafood and delicious. This is real Italian food. We’ll be back!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at this restaurant that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. The abysmal table service was the icing on the cake of an already miserable evening. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that something was amiss. The staff appeared disinterested and disengaged, and it didn't take long to understand why. As we were seated, we noticed several servers and even the manager huddled together at a nearby table, haphazardly devouring their own meals. It was as if our presence inconvenienced them, and our needs were an afterthought. When we finally managed to flag down a server, they begrudgingly took our orders, but it was clear that their minds were elsewhere. Throughout the meal, we watched in disbelief as the staff continued to prioritize their lunch break over our dining experience. They chatted loudly amongst themselves, oblivious to the fact that we were waiting for our drinks and appetizers for what felt like an eternity. As if the terrible service wasn't enough, the culmination of our misery came with dessert. We had ordered ice cream, and when it finally arrived, it was evident that it had been sitting in the freezer for far too long. The scoops were riddled with freezer burn, giving the dessert an unmistakably unpleasant taste and texture. It was a cruel and fitting metaphor for our entire dining experience. In the end, we left the restaurant feeling not only disappointed but also disrespected. The staff's utter disregard for our needs and their blatant prioritization of their own lunch ruined what should have been a simple meal out. I can confidently say that I will never return to that establishment, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values decent service and edible food.

The garlic bread is a must try and repeat, we ordered fettuccini chicken Alfredo and cheese pizza. Everything we had was very good, great atmosphere and the service was excellent.

We celebrated a birthday there last Sunday and enjoyed sitting outdoors this time. It was very, very cold inside. My pesto shrimp was very rich and almost too thick and creamy but my leftovers for lunch the next day were absolutely delicious. The meatballs were not my husband's favorite but I love their fresh tasting tomato sauce. Now if only they served a different type of iced tea...P.S. We appreciated the good service and it's interesting watching people walking by

Delicious food with very friendly staff

Picked up my food to go around 5pm on a Friday. To my suprise there were not many people dining in (perhaps it was still to early). As I waited for my food I could not help but to notice the floor in the kitchen area was filthy ( which you can easily see from the pick up area).. Mind you..it was not busy. Someone could have easily cleaned up the floor. My appetite was ruined. If the floor is dirty...what else is dirty. Sad!!
