I'm rating this a measly 2 stars this time. My order was wrong and I didn't receive pikliz as requested. The food wasn't fresh at all due to the fried turkey looking old and was cold. The plantains were not fresh either. I came here last week and the food was great. This place can be hit or miss.

The food, staff, and atmosphere here are amazing!!!! I had The fried red snapper, which was delicious and well priced. Going back to try the oxtail stew today.

Best Caribbean food ever. Go try it for yourself! It is just amazing!

When you visit this restaurant ask for Jaylah. She was so sweet and helpful. I hope the manger see this and give her a raise, she deserve it.

Great food and customer service

The best service that I have ever had at a Haitian restaurant! The servers were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. When I visited, the owner's sister was managing the place for a few days and made such an impression that I went back 3 times in that one week. The place is so nicely decorated with beautiful art on all of the walls. The fish is worth every dollar! The Mac n Cheese is top-notch! The Djondjon rice, chef's kiss! The Acra is on the menu & actual availabile! The fried plantines is made fresh when you order! This spot is 10/10 for me! 🇭🇹

The food is to spicy to much hot pepper

I order food through postmates. I wanted fried turkey and rice & peas. When I got my order it was white rice and beans. So I called the restaurant and I spoke to a lady I told her my order was incorrect i wanted rice & peas but I got rice and beans. She asked me if I was able to come and switch it out. I told her yes. I drove over 40 minutes for the lady to tell me that she cannot switch out the rice because I picked white rice and beans. So I go on the app to make sure, so I see I misread the information they didn’t give the option for rice and peas so I let her know and she said that I should’ve wrote in special instructions that I wanted rice & peas. I told her all I want to do is switch it out for the rice & peas can she make the exception please I drove out really far and she told me no so I had to pay extra for the rice and peas. RIDICULOUS. I would always come here but this will be the last.

1st time trying haitian food and i thought it was pretty good.

I enjoyed my first bowls of Soup Joumou and Bouyon. The quality ingredients are fresh, and the taste is unbeatable!! Thank you for blessing the community with such fresh offerings of Haitian Cuisine.

Any time my family is in the South Florida area we always try to find a Haitian restaurant to get some good Creole cooking. Well this time we hit the jackpot! The food @La Belle Jacmelienne is cooked with love and you can taste it in every bite. The plaza that the restaurant is located in isn't the Ritz but the atmosphere is very welcoming from the smell of the food when you exit your car before entering the establishment to the green turf carefully placed in front. Once you step foot in the door the artwork on the walls are so vibrant and high quality that you will want to take the walls home with you. Haitian music plays softly in the background as the video for the song airs on the tv screen by the counter. The young ladies behind the counter go above and beyond to offer great service with a wonderful pleasant attitude and super spirit. The food is cooked to perfection as if someones' grandmother is in the kitchen throwing down. Everything we had was seasoned just right. The restaurant is all around "AWESOME" and we will definitely return anytime we are in the South Florida area.

I happened to stumble up on “La Belle Jacmelienne”. The food was freshly prepared and also very tasty. The place is very clean and inviting but the most important to me was the level and quality of customer service provided by the two young ladies. This is what i call an exemplary Haitian Restaurant for our community. I can’t say enough so simply swing by and you’ll draw that very same conclusion I hope and possibly more. The food was so delicious that I didn’t even make it home to indulge all up in it.

Honestly I been here 3 times, and all 3 have been depressing like I don't know how they are in business. It's close to home. I figured I would give it a try, but I give them the benefit of a doubt 3 time never again, just ridiculous.

My favorite is the legume Ms. B knows me very well customer service is awesome.

My family and I stumbled on to this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and the servers were respectful. I definitely will be coming back and recommend to others.

The food was really good no question but the portion was very stingy for 20+ dollars we got what looked like a kids plate. Never in my life have I ever gone to a Haitian restaurant that two ppl shouldn’t share a plate .

My experience with Haitian food is very limited but my meal at La Belle Jacmelienne has cemented it as my favorite Caribbean cuisine. I had the fish and tasted my friend’s order of stewed oxtail, both fresh and delicious. I could eat an entire plate of the pikliz. So much of South American and Caribbean food is missing the heat from peppers that my palate is inclined towards. I look forward to returning to the Miami area to dine here again.

Every time I come to La Belle Jacmelienne cafe the food is amazing not once time have I been disappointed in the quality of the food or the service I got from here everything tasted fresh and very well seasoned and the customer service is excellent not to mention you can tell it is very clean inside they have tables you can sit and dine and they will bring out your food and pick up your trash afterward. The owner always comes out greets each customer and makes everyone feel welcome and everyone working there always smiles and greets you as you walk in making you want to come back. AMAZING RESTAURANT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the best Haitian in Miramar

Customer service sucks, the lady that fixed my food was nice which is why i tipped her. But after my purchase i asked her for a piklez she done says oh i should’ve told her because its an extra .75 cents. So i walked all the way back to my job to get the $1. And i came back and told the lady i spent $20 including tip and you made me walk all the way back for .75. Her response was oh you didnt have to tip. Customer service is terrible

In house hot sauce with tender fried goat, soft chewy fat on the edges! Smoky bean soup worth every throaty sip. Great hospitality and service. Thank you.

This is the best haitian restaurant in South Florida. I can always rely on them to give me great tasting, fresh haitian food when I'm lazy and don't feel like cooking. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the establishment is beautifully decorated and CLEAN! Also one of the few Haitian restaurants in 2024 where you can actually dine in. I HIGHLY recommend eating here!

Great food had a lot of flavor. I love my pikliz spicy and they make it perfect. I had the rice and beans, fried plantain, fried goat and fried pork. The food is always fresh and hot. I would definitely eat here again which i have whenever I’m in the area.

I highly recommend this place, I have been a few times and each time it has been so delicious. The service is amazing and so is the owner. I have tried the Griot, the fried turkey, plantain, black rice, rice and beans, all of it has been so good! You gotta try it, I’m from Orlando and I have to drive down to Miami for some real good Haitian food and this one is my favorite.

As someone that has frequented this place for a few years I can honestly say the quality has gone down!!! The staff doesn’t wear hairnets and gloves when making your food. I got an attitude from the cashier after asking to purchase an extra cup of pikliz. Then she proceeds to gossip in creole with another lady about it. I had it yesterday and the food was horrible. The rice taste old and the plantains were fried too hard. My partner who went to order the food even said the service was horrible and the cashier looked spaced out the whole time to the point he had to repeat the order three times. I’m done giving chances. They have to know the service is poor now!

First and last time here. I had heard wonderful things about this place and the day that me and my husband decided to try out. We was very disappointed! He ordered the fried turkey dinner which was fried hard ( we did ask twice to Fry soft) and I had the fried griot which was fried too hard and the black rice was on a lil dry .food looks delicious but was terrible!

The rice and beans were spicy. If you don't love the epis (Haitian style seasoning), it might not be for you! I loved it! It was perfect for me. The stewed turkey was exquisite! The line is long on the weekend, so get there early and remember... no extra side of rice on Sundays.

I hate this place!!! They don't respect American people. They take too long to fix your plate. When I have to drive to the establishment to place my order on a 30 min. Lunch break!!!! Thus they need to take orders over the phone...I swea, never again!!!

Dine in decor is very nice here. Food is usually pretty good, but have not enjoyed the service here. One person made the food, another checked us out and wait time to receive food was still more than 15 min. Also brought a guest that spoke creole and staff didn’t respond in creole but in English instead because he was American, very weird interaction as I witnessed the staff speak to each other in Creole.

The food is AMAZING! Very flavorful. We got the griot and rice and peas. The griot was meaty and the rice was perfect. Loved the pickliz too. The music was a nice touch. We'll be back!

Today was my first time there. I asked for a griot plate. The server fixed the plate. Then I asked for stewed turkey and she said “damn, why you ain’t tell me that before!” I apologized and said it was my first time there and I didn’t know there was a certain way to order. She proceeded to have a negative disposition for the rest of our interactions. I thanked her after I received my meals and paid for them and she didn’t say you’re welcome until I was almost at the door. I’m not even sure if that’s what she said. The food was great! The server with the raggedy lashes and bad attitude needs to go.

Authentic Haitian food which is rare to find I’m happy I found this hidden gem. I always ordered there fried fish with Fried goat worth the price.

It was an absolute pleasure coming here for lunch. We went down to Hard Rock Stadium and on our way home wanted some Haitian food. Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the esthetic was great, the service was top notch, and the food was next level. If you are ever in the area this is the Haitian restaurant that needs to be on your bucket list. Thank you guys for the amazing hospitality and for sending us home like stuffed pigs.

There are a few other restaurants in the area, what sets this one apart is the fact that everything is not FRIED….. 🙄 The food isn’t restaurant quality but home❤️ quality. The ambiance and aesthetics cannot go unnoticed!

Visiting from Tampa and had the taste for some Haitian cuisine, so my girlfriend recommended this restaurant. When I say good food, I mean gooood food, the portion was well worth, we both had the whole fried fish which was bursting with flavor and that sauce that was on the side along with the pikliz was lip smacking good. Bernadette and her daughters especially Bianca was very sweet and hospitable. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy some good ole authentic Haitian cuisine. Don’t forget to grab a pecos/cocoye, it’s like their version of a Italian ice. I had the passion fruit flavor which scored a home run! Visit them if you are ever in the south Florida area!!

They were 5 mins from closing when I came in and they made us fresh griot, gave us various gravies to try, and were very friendly. Very clean, cutest decor, and best of all authentic Haitian food. Best Haitian spot in Miramar 🙌🏼 coming back.

I use to love this restaurant before The Hungry Black Man’s review. What I’m noticing is the customer service has completely diminished. The clientele increased and the need for value and great service declined. The last time I visited the woman taking my order was so blatantly rude, that I left. Great food is wonderful. Appreciation and value of your customers is most important. If you can’t deal and speak with the community you serve with respect, then you really have no place in the industry. Stay humble.

Although the food is authentic and good, the owners really should try to improved the quality of their location. This is not the responsibility of the employees. I saw a bunch of propaganda just piled up on the counters, just throw it out or organize it a bit so people can actually see it. The place just gives the aspect of poorly put together. Again the food is great but the ambiance of the place just brings the mood down.

Let’s start with the positive. The haitian food was delicious; fried turkey and plantain meal wasn’t dry but tasty. As far as the decor, picturesque. Sadly, many food selections weren’t available. The customer service at first impression wasn’t as expected but our server warmed up to our delight.I will visit again.

Yummy! We were searching for the best Haitian restaurant in town and I’m pretty sure that we found it! Authentic Haitian at its best, La Belle Jacmelienne Cafe had a wondeful selection of authentic entrees with all the correct fixings including , picklese, plantains, and rice/beans or Haitian macaroni and cheese. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delightful. Next time I will ask for more sauce to eat with my entree. The fish and lambi (conch) were our favorites! Be sure to go and go early, when we left, the restaurant was packed! Families are welcome!

So this i YouTuber food critter name "hungry black Man" supposedly he said he try 88 Haitian restaurant in south Florida and this one was number 1. so I finally went to go check out this restaurant the dining is nice and but the food is very much salty.would I go back for the second time no. Hungry black man you don't know nothing about Haitian authentic food trust me there's other Haitian restaurants so much better than this one 🤗

This spot is SUCH a vibe. Every Sunday, come here for their soup joumou is BAR NONE. The women are sweet, djanm and always a delight when I see them. The atmosphere, however, is my FAVORITE aspect of this restaurant. In my experience, few Haitian restaurants accurately portray theirs love of Haitian art in their locations. At La Belle Jacmelienne, the layout is so pretty, and I feel like I'm eating at a restaurant on the Jacmel promenade. Mesdames ! Félicitations! #HaitianFood lovers, run don't walk. #LaBelleJacmelienne is NOT to be slept on.

I have dined here before and I have never wanted extra anything. Today I decided I wanted the stewed turkey and a side of stewed chicken. I was told that this restaurant does not serve a side of anything and that I must purchase and entirely different meal in order to have the experience. I respectfully declined and came to the realization I will never be back. I showed up for decent food, not to be robbed. $13 plus for an average plate. I didn’t want to spend 26 for food I didn’t need just to taste the chicken.

As the owner, her customer service is horrible. I hate to put a review on a fellow Haitian business but she sucks! She treated a white couple better than her own kind. You need to do better as a business owner.

Worst customer service in United States! I have spent money here before just to support Haitian Black owned business but it isn’t worth it. The owner doesn’t speak to customers with no regard or respect. While I try to explain to her how much money I have spent here to support she interrupted me with no desire to fix it. I got a refund and I will never be back.

We went here with my whole family - 8 adults and 4 kids. It was all around fantastic. The food was delicious and service was great. Our favorite dish was the fried fish (red snapper). Also the beans were so good! We will be returning next time we are near!

This beautiful restaurant did not disappoint when I visited it with a few friends while in Miami. Excellent atmosphere with delectable Haitian cuisine. Service was superb, something that is hard to find at a "Restaurant Ayisyen". The restaurant staff did an excellent job. My friends were Peruvians and P.R, and they loved the place. If you're in Miami or the surrounding areas, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.

Wanted to try this place out for lunch. Saw the reviews were good. We'll give it a 3 star at best. The food is not very flavorful. We've definitely had much better Haitian cuisine.

Born and raised in Haiti, I can say that this place is very nice and that the food meets the decor in terms of flavor profile. I like the Turkey "en sauce" and and they make "maïs moulin blanc" on Mondays which I am addicted to. Clean establishment and they have put thoughts and efforts in capturing a true Haitian vibe. By the way, I had to buy a whole fish (red snapper) to fly back to Dallas with it! We need one for sure in Dallas!

We were looking for someplace different to eat today and found this lovely place! We ordered the goat, pork, and chicken dishes which came with rice and plantains(similar to tostones). The meats were all super tender, and the portions were generous. The brown rice with beans was incredible! What really impressed us was how the owner brought us the beautifully plated food on a cart. The place is super clean and welcoming. We will return.

I am from Maryland and wanted to have something unique here. Thanks to a local friend’s recommendation, we tried the fried pork and the Legume, which were fantastic. I was afraid it may be too exotic for me but they were superb. To be honest, the foods on the menu and the drinks were unfamiliar to me, but the fried pork that I tried in particular was crispy outside and tender inside, which was perfectly cooked. The server (she may be an owner given her passion) was above and beyond, which made the experience extra special. I am very pleasant about the foods and overall experience, and I highly recommend to both local people and tourists! Hope their business thrives 👍

My first time at this restaurant everything was above and beyond, food was good and customer service was wonderful. Definitely I’ll be back soon
