We LOVED everything about this restaurant! Our server was amazing. Super friendly and very attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend anyone looking for good Mexican food and a friendly relaxing environment try this spot. BONUS: They offer a word search and have the cutest "get to know the chefs" list their favorite dishes. 100/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Food and drinks were yummy. I was not a fan of the white corn tortillas they use but other than that the food was delicious! The service was awesome, super friendly and attentive staff. Super close to The Forum too!

This place is a hidden jewel in the city. It is so clean and quiet. The food is unique and not the same old tired stuff you can get anywhere. The menu is dynamic and gets changed around. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant where the wait staff was so pleasant and the chef came out to speak with us and tell us about his creations. 6 stars

So I'm on vacation form London until the end of July. Today was my second day in LA and wow am I impressed. The food is amazing, best carne asade I've ever had, the atmosphere was the best. The staff were all extremely kind and welcoming upon entry, and they were very nice the entire time. We were even given complimentary churros. I'll never see British food the same after eating this. It was so good I finished it all without sharing.

This place is a gem and right around the corner from the forum. Back Nov 2019 we were headed to the mana concert and needed a place to eat b4 the concert and yelp led us to La Fonda. Food and service were exceptional! Went back again b4 the Beyoncé concert Sept of 2023 and the food and service were no different from the first time. Now fast forward to July 5 2024 for the new kids on the block concert. My bestie said, where we gonna eat before the concert. I said, I know a spot! La Fonda exceeded our expectations once again l. Thank you so much ( Candy) Kane and Frances for the hospitality. Your kindness and excellent food will keep us coming back to your establishment b4 every concert!!

Looked up burritos in Inglewood and La Fonda came up straight away! Ordered online and it was made within 15-20 min. The burrito was so so yummy, delicious carnitas full of flavour and awesome portion sizes! Definitely on my list of great Mexican food ❤️

A lot to love about this spot, just keep your phone in your pocket. We stumbled on this traveling to the airport and had delicious street tacos. The Horchata was easily a top 3 Horchata experience.

We visited this place on our way to San Diego from LA. It’s a very nice cozy restaurant which has amazing food. We tried the wet shrimp and chicken burritos and they were delicious. They also gave us complimentary freshly made chips and salsa which were so good. Will definitely visit again.

First time here. Tried the carne asada fries. The service was good - I wish he would recommended or stated what's popular at their place but he got my order together and made the encounter smooth. The fries were pretty dry, unfortunately. They seemed to be slightly overcooked but they hit the spot. Carne asada was good. Overall, just needed salsa and some more flavor. I'm looking forward to trying some especiales de platos.

I flew in to LAX and was hungry for Mexican food. This place had good reviews. I’m tired and starving. I walk up to the door and the employee locks the door as I’m about to open it. He tells me they’re going to close for an hour because they’re busy. It was not busy and it was just ME! Very disappointed! Do better!

I would recommend trying La Fonda of Inglewood. We started with Steak Nachos, and they were appetizing. Next, The La Fonda Bowl with added chicken and grilled veggies was tantalizing on the taste buds and full of flavor. We also had the Chicken Taco plate that was satisfying. If you're not paying attention, you would drive by this tasty gem.

Perfect place before a game. Exceptional service and quality drinks and food. Food and drinks come out so fast. They have organic margaritas with real fruit! We tried the gorditos…my husband and daughter loved them. I had the potato taquitos. Chips are fresh. Salsa is delicious. There is definite care and love that goes into this location. I found them on google by searching best places to eat by Sofi and we say this is a definite yes!!!

Drove up from San Diego for Luke Holmes concert and was concerned about where to eat that would good and close to Sofi Stadium. I picked this spot based on Google reviews. Our party of 6 was NOT disappointed! The food was amazing and the service exceptionally. This is a review coming from a Mexican cook that's cooks from scratch. The beans, home fried chip/tostados and the salsa....delicious is an understatement. For sure our spot when going to SoFi.

I have come here twice from out of town to pick up and drop off LAX. This is a great mexican food. Excellent breakfast and lunch. What I like best is the large veggie menu. Service is great. This is my go to spot when I'm in the area

Francis, will you marry me? I came here because I read all of the one star reviews and Francis' (owner?) subsequent response to each one of these reviews; hilarious. I'm glad I came. The food is solid, the service is solid (thank you Kane), the dining room is clean, the house rules posted on the doors and walls are a riot, all posted ServeSafe and Food Handler's certificates are current, and my beer was cold. And while the green sauce is not as spicy as I would have wanted, Francis has all of the spice I need.

Sooo good!! Landed in LA coming from Houston, TX and this is some of the best Mexican food I’ve had! Super great service too. They give an initial free chips with a bean dip and the best red salsa I’ve ever had! We had their steak burrito and were super happy with the food. Food came out quick, service is swift too, and they’re so friendly! Clean bathrooms as well!

I cannot say enough nice things about our experience at La Fonda. It was exceptional every step of the way. We were greeted warmly, excellent service, very friendly staff, and really delicious food. The vibe and interior were totally not what you would think from the outside, which looks small, but is actually a large accommodating dining room. Modern, clean, excellent!

Solid traditional Mexican cuisine. Anywhere they have camarones agua Chile I am SOLD! Had an awesome meal here with friends from New Zealand who were still singing the praises two days later, so a memorable experience. Family owned and run business with awesome staff, great atmosphere, sense of humor, and Micheladas!😋

Very friendly staff. Good humor and willing to chat. Excellent food. Thankfully has a parking lot. Chips and salsa are free, and are excellent. Really, everything was. Had the taquitos, and they were really good.

One of the strangest experiences I have had in a restaurant was with the two bizarre characters who served us: a fat man and a skinny woman with black gloves. They made us feel super uncomfortable. It seems that life has treated them very badly, since the interaction with them was very bad and strange. Something is happening in that inn. Even though the food was excellent, we have no intention of returning and will not. Of course we don't leave a tip.

An unpleasant experience, unfortunately, even though the food was delicious and the place was very nice and clean. From the moment we entered, the fat boy who served us spoke rudely in English, and since we did not understand (due to his terrible diction), he spoke to us even worse in Spanish and with an even worse pronunciation. The two people we interacted with made us feel very uncomfortable and did not make us feel welcome. I asked the boy for a glass of water and he rudely replied that it was nearby. Being the first time I came, I didn't know what to do, just take it for myself.

Tasty meals for a decent price, casual spot with friendly service, great place for a delicious lunch or dinner.

Great little place me and the wife were staying at a hotel nearby looked for some food around 8:30 or so and this little place popped up. Pulled up and I asked the wife if they were open almost left it said open so we decided to try the door. Glad we did best experience and good food got all the salsa/sauces they have some that will have you sweating (light pink) is tasty and hot. The salsa was delicious mix a little of the pink sauce in to I get the heat you want. Server was an absolute pleasure. Even gave us a whole lime.

Totally does not look like a restaurant when we drove up, on a cold January night. However, we ventured in and were very pleased, as the food is delicious and super reasonably priced. They have a decent menu and did Iention the food was super tasty!

We were staying close by during a vacation in LA and were lucky enough to stumble upon this GEM!! The taquitos were the best I've ever had, especially the potato. So incredibly delicious with amazing crunch and unforgettable flavor. The tostada salad with shrimp was equally delicious and the bean dip and salsa served with the chips were good enough to eat with a spoon. If you're anywhere near the area, don't miss out!!

We got the wet burrito with half red and green and the mini tacos. Both were delicious!!!!! Unlike other people are saying, the sauce was not spicy at all. It was hardly spicy at all. The chips and salsa was also super deliciouss!!!

I was surprised at the minimalist decor bcuz I was expecting the Old Mexico motif w/fountain in the middle and brilliant colors Ive been to 2 La Fondas(Hollywood & DTLA). Instead, just gray walls and black fixtures which was understated and soothing. Two water containers,one with cucumber was self-service. Found out later from Jake, the friendly server, that this place is not related to the other two. I did like the "puzzle" paper & pen provided while waiting, and the "sculpture" of a chef made of regular objects(fork,spoon,skillet,cleaver)fused together...clever cleaver !(had to say it)

I’m a local and grew up eating Mexican food. This is the ONLY restaurant that I’ve had authentic Mexican rice. Service is amazing and the food is delicious.

The food here is the best in Inglewood. Highly recommend. I usually go with the carne asada plate and the meat is perfectly seasoned and tender. The bean dip for the ctortilla chips is extremely good. 10/5 Stars.

Me and my fiancé took our first day trip to California from Chicago and our first stop was to find something to eat,…we came across this place after some extensive searching on google… reviews did not disappoint! This place has some really good tacos! And the customer service by kane was definitely top tier…. We will be back again and again

This is now my new favorite place to stop when I fly to LAX and visit family in CA. The food is amazing. They make the Aguas fresh, and the chips and salsa are homemade. We had horchata, tamarindo, chile relleno, huevos rancheros, and I had the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs. You can pick either green (spicy) or red (mild) salsa for your dish. They have a free water station and even had some fun word search sheets you can work on at your table. The prices were very reasonable as well and worth it. The hours vary a little (see hours picture), they open around 8am-ish, lol. My parents got plantains and they said they were delicious and sweet. They come with a side of crema and beans. The owner is the main cook there, and I believe the sons also work there too. Everyone there was so nice and chatted with us, too. For vegetarian options, you have a lot of items to pick from. My mom is vegetarian, and it's hard to impress her with most vegetarian menus at restaurants, which normally very limited options for the most part. So she was very happy with their vegetarian menu and the food was great.

Food is made to order, including the homemade tortillas. Service is excellent in all levels. The food....my compliments to the chefs. This little location tucked away near Sofi Stadium is a hidden gem. Great place to visit after a fun filled NFL evening. I highly recommend it.

Ever since I discovered this mexican food restaurant gem in Inglewood I have not stopped coming in. Their food is delicious and reminds me of my families home cooked meals. They always start you off with chips, salsa, and refried beans on the house. I always go for the chicken enchiladas which are super tasty but not too spicy. The restaurant is always clean and they have stations with water, napkins and to go containers so you dont have to go chasing a waiter. Definitely reccomend to anyone who loves good food at affordable prices.

Unassuming strip mall location that is quite good! All your favorites are here, with a chef-y twist. The salsa served with the tortilla chips and bean dip was marvelous- with a delightful garlic linger. I got fish tacos - nicely spiced and cooked hard on one side, completely eliminating the need for being battered for a crispy texture. He got the taquitos (2 kinds-beef and potato) - the potatoes were beautifully flavored so were identifiable when eating them. The margaritas were quite tasty too. The interior of the restaurant was pleasant, the staff attentive, and the experience overall marvelous. When we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stop by!

Morning one of the first ones there she was only server she did a great job. Food was delicious. We had a sopas and the roll tacos with beans and rice it was all amazing.

Crazy good Mexican food at its best

The food was somewhat cold. The taquito plate ordered had sour cream and guacamole. I was unable to eat due to allergies. Wasted money.

Had breakfast on Monday morning. Clean small place with good Salsa Breakfast serving small for a morning starter. Very expensive for breakfast plates. Better going somewhere else for a Breakfast burrito and save money.

Really good food nice employees

The food was mediocre at best. To have so many opens in southern Cali this place is not worth it. I had the crab civeche it was awful. The tacos were nothing special either. The cook was making something that had everyone coughing in the restaurant. It wasn't a good customer experience.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Small Hole In The Wall Restaurant Serving Bomb Mexican Food!! The location was super clean The staff was friendly and helpful I Tried The STEAK & SHRIMP (a la diabla) PLATE and it was 🔥 The steak was perfectly seasoned the beans and rice are on point and the diabla sauce was flavourful and spicy as it should be!

This was my first time at this restaurant and it was amazing the flavor of the food had me which was great. I had the watermelon margaritas 🍹 and that was amazing also. Service wise, not a 5 star but a 9 star out of 10 waiters were spot on and amazing. Not busy at the time I went at 230 pm a 🚶‍♀️ walk or Uber from the hotel at LAX.

Can't say enough positive things about this place. Great food at a very fair price. Your biggest challenge will be selecting what you want because there are so many great options on the menu, including great breakfast dishes. The only challenge can be parking if the barbershop is open next door.

Great place for typical Mexican food near the airport. It's pretty laid back with very friendly staff. The food was very tasty, you can notice they really take care to make it authentic. I had the mini tacos and an horchata and recommend them both. They were great for lunch.
