Food was amazing and staff were so nice. Price is very reasonable! Try to go early as they get busy so quickly! Must try the honey cake💕

Ordered delivery one day during our stay and it was so good (in particular my husband's goat cheese quiche that I had a bite of) that we decided to get it again another day when we were running low on time. Not as impressed with Sunday staff... I ordered the quiche this time and it arrived cold, in a small box. For a delivery order to a bed and breakfast. Paid extra to upgrade to roasted potatoes and they did not include ketchup. Also did not include silverware - my husband ended up eating eggs Benedict with his hands. Utterly ridiculous to pay $20 for a cold piece of quiche!

The waffle was incredible with a side of their homemade whipped cream that was heaven. Service where great too. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Breakfast was wonderful. The service was excellent.

Not really good food. Greasy tables. Service is not attentive. We were waiving to our waitress many times while she was indifferently chatting with her coworkers at the register. The salmon eggs benedict were with some “pesto like” watery sauce which gave them weird taste and appearance. Croissant should be toasted, not raw. Be aware of the tips already included but you see them only if you ask to print out the receipt before paying. We went a couple of times before to this place when the staff was completely different, more welcoming and attentive and the menu was also different in a good way. I guess that’s what you get when trying to go cheap. Update: we ended up with diarrhea!

Unbelievable service and overall ambiance. I ordered the Quiche Lorraine and it was better than any other quiche I’ve ever had. The amount of cheese and the amazing crust was so delicious! This is a gem of Key West!

Quick and efficient staff. Unfortunately did not enjoy my food choices. I can see why the French toast takes four days to make - it is the driest French toast I’ve ever had. Thank god for the syrup. The Belgian waffle was plain and I find it hard to believe the whipped cream was homemade as it had a can consistency. Very underwhelming dishes for ~16$ each.

The young lady that assisted my wife and I was unnecessarily rude for no apparent reason. I'll take my business elsewhere next time. Preferably across the street.

We wanted to love the food, but were not impressed with the lobster Benedict. Famous honey cake, on the other hand was hands down one of the best cakes in my life.

Went for breakfast. Ordered egg benedict, French toast and orange juice. Food was very good and juice was freshly squeezed and very refreshing. Waiters who took our order and served the food were very pleasant and helpful in explaining various breakfast options. One observation that they seemed bit in hurry to push the guests out as the waitress brought the bill without even being asked for it while we were still not through with our breakfast which felt dis courteous.

Fresh food and friendly staff. I would eat anything I got again but the Fresh Toast was a bit over hyped, while he coffee was underhyped.

This place is so cute and all their pastries look delicious. I have a few allergies but they were quite accommodating and were able to substitute some things for me. Their drip coffee out front was cool and their coffee, in general, is strong but good.

The French toast was dry and the worst I have ever eaten (or started to eat). The tart was fair but definitely not prepared that day as advertised- the fruit was soggy.

Had their signature lobster egg Benedict with ciabatta bread. Almost perfect. If I am being picky here, the lobster meat was a little firm, otherwise very good. The special quiche differs every day in terms of their ingredients. This was made with broccoli, eggplant, Swiss cheese. The crust was very crispy and the cheese had a very nice fragrance to it. Very good but not outstanding. Also ordered lattes and cold brew. Nothing too special about the drinks. Still a decent experience overall.

La Grin-Yote was amazing! We went for breakfast and fully expect to return a few times before our vacation is finished. There are so many things on the menu that we can't wait to try. This morning my wife had the Croque Madame and I had the French Toast (but not your regular French Toast!) and were both delicious! Update: For our THIRD visit we were equally happy as our first 2! Very good, consistent service. The food is really amazing, we've gotten different things each visit and it's all been delicious!

Excellent breakfast: we recommend the eggs Benedict and homemade granola. Just a suggestion for the granola, it's a little too sweet. We will have to be able to season it ourselves. But otherwise it’s great!

Amazing selection of pastries and delicious brekfast options. The waffles are spectacular! Highly recommend the cold Brew coffee, yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. Fantastic place for great breakfast in key west.

Very pricy, but ok food. Unfortunately very unfriendly waiter. Maybe they call it here a nerved rusher. A bad match. Nearly kicking you out after your last bite even with a lot of free seats. Same on doing orders. Seconds after you are in you have to order. Worst experience during during the last years on the keys.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic experience here for brunch! Food was excellent, and the drinks too. The owner, Katie, was wonderful and even comped us our honey cake appetizer (which was delicious)! So glad we stopped here, this made our whole trip to Key West. Will definitely come back if we ever are in the area again.

A wonderful breakfast/lunch place. Owner Dennis is involved in checking it likes to check with his guests. We had for breakfast a croque madame which is served other on a croissant or of the breads they’re making in house, I chose the sourdough with salad. It was flavorful done the right way with the nice amount of béchamel and runny egg. My better half took the French breakfast that came with Greek yogurt and homemade granola, fresh orange juice and baguette slices, she loved it. After chatting with Dennis, I was convinced to try his grandma recipe, honey cake. It was absolutely delicious fillers of cake filled with layers of cream absolutely worth it

I try not to leave negative reviews. The roasted potatoes were delicious.

This was my favorite breakfast place in all of key west. The croque madame was phenomenal. I wish I could remember the name of the pastry I had but it was moist and buttery in the bottom and sugary and crunchy on the top and it was so good. The owner actually was taking the rest to his family and he overheard us order one and at that point the restaurant was sold out. He graciously gave us one and it was so kind. Food, ambiance, and service were all wonderful.

We had the veggies eggs Benedict very light but filling and yummy. The Belgian waffles were also delicious.

The waitress charged us a tip without even consulting with us. Food is average but the service is not up to par. It’s a tourist trap.

It is unethical to charge someone’s credit card without their acknowledgment or consent. It’s call stealing. The server charged a generous tip for herself without asking or showing me a receipt or the bill and this is completely unethical.

We had an amazing breakfast experience here while visiting Key West. We were seated right away and the staff was very attentive regardless of the amount of people that were present. We started off with two cold brews and you can tell they were brewed for as long as they say! Brilliant taste once I added the creamer to mine. The food, I ordered the French toast with a side of bacon and eggs. My partner ordered a side of bacon, eggs, and avocado. We were both very impressed once it came out. Eggs were perfect, the bacon was amazing (with a great quantity in a bowl), and my French toast was fantastically paired with the syrup they provided. Very flakey French toast that was very appetizing. I will say we both left with smiles and we will come back whenever in town again. Highly suggested!

The best food in Key West. The fresh French pastries are out of this world. Katie is the absolute best, so accommodating, sweet, and hard working. I always make sure to stop by La Grignote as it is absolutely the highlight of my trip.

The best restaurant in all of Key West, especially for brunch. The lemon blueberry tart, the fresh fruit, and the lattes were truly incredible. The owner, Katie, is the sweetest and makes everyone feel so welcome. WOULD RECOMMEND 10/10! ❤️

This brunch brought me back to life in key west!!!! The food is incredible and the pastries are heavenly. The owner (Katie) knew it was my bachelorette and brought us out their special honey cake and told us the story behind the secret recipe, so incredibly sweet and thoughtful. La grignote will always be my go to brunch spot recommendation when anyone asks me where to eat in key west.

This restaurant is my first stop every time I come to Key West! The breakfast sandwich on a croissant with avocado is next level! The attention to detail and presentation is incredible, and the owner Katie is so warm and nice. Love supporting a female owned business, and can’t wait to keep visiting for years to come!!

Picked up some pastries to eat while walking on Duval Steet. Pastries were very good and friendly staff. 5 🌟 $$

They don’t even deserve 1 star considering they refused to serve my family due to the color of their skin! Told them “we don’t need your money, you can leave”! And did this in front of children too! They don’t deserve to even be in business with the attitude they have! DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!!

Stopped in when we got off the cruise ship for coffee & scone. So glad we did. Fresh baked pastries and excellent coffee. I had mushroom coffee and it was delicious! We also had a killer piece of Key Lime pie too. Next time I’m back to Key West I’m heading straight here.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to. We went for breakfast and were patiently waiting. We were originally told 20min. The wait ended up being 45 minutes and we were skipped several times on the list. Literally everyone waiting in the restaurant was seated before us. My husband kept looking at the list to verify we were being skipped as my children were getting upset. My 2 year old was pushed back by a waitress and got hurt and no one said anything. We complained to the owner and she said if you don’t like it don’t eat here not once but 3x. She was rude, racist and callous toward our children. We ended up getting seated but after speaking with the owner we left. We were clearly not welcome. What a disgrace. There are so many better places with friendly owners, even right next door. Really not worth going and I was so excited when we chose to go! Don’t waste your time!

Horrible service. The owners are terrible. Rude and unfriendly. They could not handle the rain in key west today or the crowd. The drinks and food were sub par and it was not worth the poor customer service my family received. Very unwelcoming and not kid friendly. Would not recommend.

Felt welcome and honey cake was good.

Has potential...but quiche(s) have way too much cheese (yes, there is such a thing especiallywhen it comes to swiss cheese). Waffles are fabulous and lavender hot latte was wonderful but dont get sausage (crumbles). In contrast, their lavender mimosa was a huge disappointment...not chilled at all (actually room temp on an 85° day) and no discernable lavender flavor...I think this drink may have been what made me I'll that same night (at very least OJ should be kept chilled).

What a fun, lively place! Went here for birthday breakfast and ordered the chicken panini. The service is super fast, and the sandwich was just mindblowing ❤️ Also got the key lime pie, but it wasn't the best that I have had. But huge kudos and gratitude for the staff. Our server was super quick, very friendly, and the entire team made our birthday celebrations super special 🙏 This place is highly recommended

My husband ordered the honey cake for my birthday while we were in town and it was SO GOOD!! We all agreed that it was the best cake we have ever had. We will always stop by for a slice when we visit key west in the future! We also grabbed some pastries and they were 10/10 as well.

Used to come to LA Grignote every year during summer but service not that great anymore. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and asked not to include the bechamel sauce I was told the croissant included the bechamel???? Instead I was offered a different dish ,more expensive ?? really??? What about getting a plain croissant from your bakery and adding ham and cheese simple. I ordered just coffee and I will never come back.

This place is spectacular! All the way up the food chain from breakfast, lunch, and dessert.. and we tried it all! Fabulous lunch menu and the desserts will melt in your mouth. We had the honey cake, key lime pie, and the raspberry special. Unreal! Also met the owner which has a great backstory. Gotta make sure to hit this place up if visiting the Keys.

We had the loveliest times here that we kept coming back all week. I would give all 4 stars except the consistency on the espresso drinks was non-existent. We ordered the same drinks 3 days in a row and each day the drinks came out differently, varying temperatures as well as flavor strengths. The food and baked goods were truly wonderful every time.

The food here is amazing. It is all freshly prepared using high quality ingredients. We had breakfast here overlooking Duval. It was perfect. The crème donut is filled to order and I am still dreaming about it. I might just drive all the way to Key West for the donut.

If I could give La Grignote more stars I would. It was absolutely delicious. The flavors in the sausage and potatoes were amazing and the freshness of the eggs and avocado were great. I highly recommend this place!! Our waitress was so sweet and had a radiating personality! There is gluten free options also.

We were walking around Key West and spotted this place. They had a super cool ice brewing coffee contraption in the entryway. Had to be a good spot for coffee and other treats. We got the coffee regular and ice. Both were excellent. We were tempted by the other treats, but beat the urge to purchase. It was very busy for a weekday.

This is probably my favorite Key West breakfast spot - the food is fresh and delicious, the service is super friendly, great coffee, the prices are fair.... I just love grabbing a couple of the seats facing Duval and watch the world go by. I've probably been to La Grignote 10 times and I've never been disappointed, in fact everytime I go I seem to like it even more. If you want a real treat, check out that Honey Cake

Lovely and cute place, professional staff, but the food wasn't what i expected. It was not much savoury or tasty, nothing reminded me of French food. So maybe a good bakery place but should not say " french food" 🤔

Finally some American people who know what great food is all about. We had American breakfast and because we are from Belgium we will go back tomorrow to taste the Belgian waffles. But I am already sure they will be fabulous. Carine, Pascal, Lien and Nico We went back and ate different meals including the Belgian waffle, congratulations, really really good. We have visited the united States' several times but this place is by far the best we have ever been

This was my first stop during my day trip to the keys and we had brunch with a beautiful view of Duval st on a beautiful day. The vibe was very antiquey with an extremely friendly and efficient staff, we had waters within 10 seconds of sitting down, love that. We both ordered croque madames, one with sourdough and one with a croissant also had some lattes and they have an option to add a shot a baileys which I thought was pretty neat and it was delicious! The croques were great in flavor but I thought lacked the bechamel sauce a bit but the poached eggs were on point! Both were just ok overall, have had better, I will be try their other popular dishes next time! Also had the Pastéis de Nata which were delicious! Loved the custard/compote combo.

Didn’t even eat here. Told us 20 min wait. After 40 mins they said another 5 mins. Didn’t have enough tables to sit a party of 9 but still decided to tell us we was going to get a seat. Poor customer service. Best thing about the place was the gentlemen’s club right next door!

We had the pleasure to have breakfast twice while on vacation last week . Dennis the owner is incredible and staff is amazing! The food is delicious! Make sure you have a slice of his grandma’s 7 layer cake made with only 6 ingredients!! Will always make this stop while visiting Key West.

Awesome find. Homemade with love. Loved that they had gluten free bread to substitute for the eggs Benedict and GF bakery items. Cold brew was delicious. Homemade sausage and potatoes were incredible. Highly recommend!

Quaint and inviting, this boutique scratch kitchen is a true delight. The husband and wife owners pour their hearts into every dish, creating a menu that is both comforting and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is warm and welcoming. A lovely spot for a memorable dining experience.

We went there for breakfast the food was Amazing the coffee was strong like it should be and the service was great, the restaurant is right on Duval st steps away from our rental. Their homade sausage and slow roasted potatoes will have you coming back for more.

Egg, bacon, and cheese croissant was perfect. It would not be possible to make a better croissant. Fresh fruit was also awesome, as was the Cafe au lait.

Manager was asking us personal questions for no reason, felt like investigation to ve honest. Food was ok. Service I don't wanna tak about at all. Macaroons were over baked, hard to chew and just not good at all. Cafe Mocha was like hot cocoa with no coffee shot in it.

Came here based on a recommendation for the Veg Benedict. Was truly delish! Close to butterfly conservatory and southernmost point site, so it was a nice morning combo.

We loved the pastries here. We were quickly served during a very busy morning. Eat here if you get the chance.
