This is my favorite restaurant. Been going for at least 10 years. My go to spot. Fast service with excellent food. Armando is the owner and actually walks around to the tables and talks with his customers. I’ve never seen that and that’s freaking awesome. Will always recommend this place.

It is a nice place and the attention is worthy of all credit

You will be very kind, I grabbed a carnitas cake but that cake looked like a lettuce cake, it didn't have any meat and Jamaican water is sugar with no color or flavor.

We went for lunch. The server was very friendly and informative about the menu. We arrived about ten minutes before the bar opened, but she took our drink orders anyway. As soon as the bar opened, we had our drinks! The service was excellent. One member of our party has a gluten intolerance, and the restaurant was very accommodating. Next time I'm back in Salt Lake City, I intend to go back.

The food was amazing. My co worker and I sat down here for lunch. We got our food within 6 minutes of ordering before they even brought us water! The staff was incredibly friendly and kind.

La Hacienda in Salt Lake is a must-visit for Mexican cuisine lovers. The enchiladas were perfectly cooked, and the spices were just right. The friendly service made the experience even better.

This place isn't bad.... It has the potential to be better... Especially when the cheese in my enchiladas wasn't melted and the salsa is more water than anything else. It just seems like they are ok with mediocre food.

The food was very delicious, the waitress who served us was excellent but there is no music and they don't put the price of the beer to surprise you later.

The service is wonderful and the food is amazing. Chile verde fries are a must, as well as the smothered burritos. Great portion sizes. We love this location.

Food tasted like t.v. dinner, not Mexican at all

Had a smothered burrito for lunch with a coworker, and the food was delicious! They were quick to take care of us once seated, and the food came out quick! The waitress was attentive to our drinks and kept them full.

I recommend it 100%, some very good margaritas, the food very good flavor, only that the fajitas serve you very little fajita and a lot of vegetables, I avoid eating non-vegetable fajita 😂😂 otherwise everything is very good

The burritos used to be way better. The plates used to be authentic with a kick of spice and flavor.

Upon entry of the building, the group I was with was greeted by warm welcoming staff. All of us enjoyed our food and the follow up from our server was professional. We were very well taken care of. Personal discretion strongly suggests a solid recommendation for anyone interested.

I would do a 0 star if it was an option. IGNORANCE. Called in advanced to ask about their hours for Christmas Eve to be considerate of their time because of course it’s Christmas Eve. They said 4pm and we clarified if we called to order our food at 3pm that they would still be open and we were told yes they would still take the order. Called at 3 pm on the dot and the person over the phone says they closed at 3 pm and the MANAGER was the one that made the decision to close early. I am disappointed in the service and ignorance of them not even being considerate when we did. Merry Christmas Eve.

I love La Hacienda and have been going there for at least 20 years. It never disappoints! Don’t miss the carnitas plate. Superb! I also like the ground beef burrito enchilada style. But the Abest part is bantering with Armando and his beautiful family.

Incredible food, wonderful atmosphere, below my average service. The reason for the low grade on service, was only a result of the person who had our table. We did tho in while it was busy with the lunch service, and this is when top-of-your hand needs to kick in, then follow through to the wrap. Customer service is essential to what a customer, such as I, look for. We did have some really nice employees who checked with us...very pleasant, and appreciated. All-in-all, I wouldn't scratch this establishment out. The food was wonderful!

In SLC for a conference and a friend and I stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night. The food was delicious!! Pollo asado was excellent, the chili verde was on point. I ate the entire burrito, even though it was huge, because I couldn't stop eating! Maybe it was just me being hungry after a long day of travel, but I'm certain I will eat here again when visiting.

Coming from Colorado, this was a place my team recommended, and the place did not disappoint. The chips and salsa were served as you sit, with the salsa being just spicy enough for you to continue to want more. The food was amazing and the service was kind and quick. We came during lunch rush, and was served in a timely manner. I had the lunch special chicken chimichanga served with beans and a delicious Spanish rice, all for 12.00. Really enjoyed it. The plants at the front are amazing and very loved.

Came here to pick up for ubereats and the owner refused to let me pick up the order, stating that he does not allow 3rd party orders. He kept going on about how he won't let anyone make money off of him. It's fine if that's how he chooses to run his restaurant, but he was very rude about it, as if I was personally trying to steal from him.

I'd definitely give this place a try. We all got the menudo. It was too spicy for me and my son. But had great flavor and a good serving size. We do wish it was served with more hominy and no bone. But I do know people who love the bone so I wasn't upset about it. Bread was an extra charge too. But overall we all enjoyed it.

Ordered chili Verde enchiladas. It was 2 cheese enchiladas with Verde sauce on top that included only 2 pieces of pork. Swiss is not impressive at all.

The food was alright I guess what i didn’t like was fact that I ordered a chimichanga and I asked if I could get carne asada instead of beef when I was going to pay I was charge 12 dollars for the chimichanga and 5 dollars for extra meet not really coming back

I have eaten here often for lunch, never for dinner. It fills up pretty good, I try to go early. I love the food, no nonsense service, great chips and salsa. I need to explore the menu more, I keep ordering chile verde dishes - its great.

No stars! Bad customer service. Tried to avoid this place, go somewhere else. I am a truck driver trying to wine down on a Saturday afternoon and the lady server was rushing me and being rude.
