Tasty food and a great location if you live in forks

Fish taco was fishy, but loved the avocado in there. Added lime slices, salsa verde and hot sauce, although they didn't cover the fishy taste. Tres Leches was overly rich and sweet. Restaurant was nice and clean. Owners were affable and accommodating.

Small but mighty. Dined in on a Saturday. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone we encountered had a smile. Looking forward to our next trip

Good traditional Mexican food. Not really a restaurant, mostly take out with just a handful of tables. No decor, more like a fast food place, so not for a night out type thing. Very friendly and helpful.

The wife and I tried La Perla Tapatia for the first time today as I am ever hopeful for decent Mexican food and they exceeded my hope for "decent." We were both VERY happy with their offerings. I am picky about my carnitas street tacos and these were the best I have found in the area. 3 for $13 was a good value. We tried the chips and guac which were very good. Plentiful amount of guac and homemade chips. The sides of rice and beans were very tasty, as was my wife's chicken taco on flour tortilla. The flan was also quite good and included berries and whip cream. It was not a perfect place and the only nit picking observations was the flan was a little firmer than I prefer and the beans needed to be a bit thicker in consistency. The flavors, however, were all very good and the meal was a value for what we received. The customer service was good and the wait time for our order was minimal, especially since we ordered the chips. We will certainly return again when we are in the Easton area around lunch.

I ordered the carne azada plate, and it was good. but in my opinion, it will be great with some cebollines and a little more guacamole and pico de gallo

The food here is great. The meats are seasoned and actually have taste, unlike many Mexican restaurants I’ve visited. Everything is fresh and the staff is really nice. The only downside, it’s a little pricey compared to the competition. Overall: 5 out of 5

This is the best place around..the food is amazing

I stopped here for an order of tacos to go. Everything was fresh, the steak was seasoned to perfection and the presentment was awesome. The service was just as great. I will definitely stop in again when I’m in the area. I would also recommend for any1 craving some good Mexican/Tex Mex grub. Hands down 1 of the best in the area that I’ve tried.

This restaurant is new on Grubhub and with great reviews here I wanted to try. I ordered a burrito and chose the "make it vegan" option. I was sorely disappointed. The burrito was not hot, not warm, not even lukewarm- but very cold! While the size of it was great and packaged with care, hence upping to 2 stars, it was totally bland. There was simply rice, lettuce, cut up avocado, and salsa (really? The beans aren't even vegan?!) I had no idea it was actually salsa and not just cut up tomato until after I finished eating, when I noticed a slight salsa flavor in my mouth. The tortilla wrap itself had a really odd flavor to it. There were 2 sauces included which I tried in my desperation of adding flavor- one was dark colored and insanely spicy, the other was greenish but I didn't like the flavor of it. I would not order again, or even want to try anything else.

Love, love, love this place. Would give 10 stars if I could. My stomach is always satisfied when leaving here after a meal. Staff is wonderful, all you could ever ask for.

We had a lovely dinner there today. Tortilla chips and salsa, Carne asada, birria tacos and tres leches to wrap it up. Marianna and all were very helpful. The food is prepared well and tastes great.

The food was phenomenal. We will most likely get takeout in the future. The restaurant is clean, but the temperature is cold. The kitchen has a substandard ventilation system. You smell the kitchen while eating and your clothes smell of the kitchen when you leave. Sorry to give this not so good review. The food is really good.

Called in a large order while visiting my family in Easton PA the day after Christmas. They were so attentive on the phone and gave an accurate pick up time which was super fast. Everything was securely packaged and the staff were so friendly when we picked up, even helping bring items into the car. Great family atmosphere! The food was absolutely delicious! Birria, burritos, enchiladas, flautas, empanadas… we got A LOT and everything tasted like pure perfection. Highly recommend!

Small portions and extremely overpriced

Clean and unassuming little place, very friendly staff, phenomenal food, larger portions. Ordered Salsa and a steak burrito, both were bursting with flavor but zero heat which was quickly solved by their hot sauce. If you're passing through I highly recommend, if you're local I feel sorry for your waistline.

My wife andI had the Birria Tacos. It was absolutely amazing. The owner brought out two types of hot sauce, both excellent. She explained how they use the broth in her hometown. You don't dip. You drink after taking a bite. The iced tea was their own recipe, and my wife loved it. I had the Horchata. It was delicious. The salsa was perfect!. We will go back! I thought the price was a little high for threetacos. However, after I had them, they could have charged more, honestly. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other recipes.

So good! We got a lot of take out from here - but they've since fixed up the dining room, so we eat in sometimes too. It's family run, and super friendly. The food is more on the authentic side too (not just tacos, etc...)

Seriously, I think the barbecoa tacos were the best tacos I’ve ever had!! We went back again the next day. My four year old loved her beans and ‘orange rice’ too. The owner was very helpful and friendly and it was crowded both days - clearly a local favorite.

What a fantastic find! We went here the other day simply by luck. It was small but very welcoming. This is a family owned business with family recipes and was really a wonderful experience. Everything is made to order. The barbacoa tacos were highly recommended by Marianna whose recipe is used for it, and they were the favorite over the steak tacos. As I tend to do, I check put pork dishes at every Spanish restaurant I go to before anything else. The carnitas were chunks of pork rather than Shredded which has always been my experience up until now. The meat was tender and not over cooked, flavor was good, but gentle in flavor. The burrito was fantastic and huge - literally the size of my daughter's arm. The service was so pleasant, Marianna made us feel so extremely welcome, as if we had been friends for years. The atmosphere was clean and simple. I'd love to see something like a few family photos of them cooking or something like that mixed in with some decor that played into the Mexican heritage that they are so very proud of there. We learned there's only 2 items on the menu that aren't true Mexican style and those are Tex-Mex in style. This has now moved up to our favorite local mexican place, and we will be back.

Went to La Perla for lunch and it was such an incredible treat. If you’re looking for a place where the food is fantastic and the service is equally great look no further. Mariana, restaurant owner and our server made us feel right at home. Even walked us through how to truly enjoy those Birria Tacos we ordered. We will be back! The food was 10/10 but even if it wasn’t I’d come just to have a conversation with her. I felt like we were in Mariana’s home! We had guacamole, Mexican salad, fish tacos, rice, Birria tacos, tres leches, and Jamaica (an organic, low sugar homemade drink) Restaurant is BYOB

If you want authentic south of the border food this is your spot. The birria tacos were out of this world. The fish tacos were perfectly cooked and the service was outstanding. I can finally say that I know how to eat Birria tacos authentically as our server taught us how to do it. They take a lot of pride in their food here and my girlfriend and I loved it.

Food was a solid 7.1, not the best I ever had. Good for a quick bite or you’re not sure where to go. Recommend the guacamole personally.

Came here from NJ because I was in the area and wanted Mexican food. Upon going in, immediately, you notice how friendly the front of the house is. The person greeting us was so cheerful and happy, you kind of get swept up in it. The place is clean and smells great. For food, we got the chips with guac, jamaica, fish tacos, and a traditional burrito. The guac was not that spicy which is a plus if you are sensitive. They have homemade hot sauces as well if you want to add your own heat. Decent meal sizes and amazing prices. I thought that the fish was breaded but it tastes like it was coated in a thin layer of egg. I can't say whether or not the food was authentic but it was delicious either way.

Absolutely delicious food! The waitress even gave us tips on how to eat the Birria Tacos, which are to die for! Not a single complaint to be had. It's BYOB, which is nice. Pricing is super fair. The place is small, so be aware of that. There are about 8 or so tables.

Came here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. They were busy but we were almost immediately seated and taken care of. Wonderful authentic Mexican food. The employees and owner are all so pleasant and welcoming. Amazing atmosphere and even better customer service.

Food was great. Owner was very friendly, maybe a little too friendly. Just wanted a quiet meal and she kept coming over saying we were eating things wrong, just very awkward.

I love this place!! The customer service is amazing. They are sooo friendly and personable! We can laugh, joke but also enjoy a great meal! If you are interested in takeout I do advise you call in advance. I have visited this place at least 20 times and they have never dropped the ball.

Ok I don't usually write views especially about small businesses because I do like to support small businesses. I came to this restaurant today because my wife was itching to try it so I brought her here. Upon arrival everyone was very friendly until my wife went to the restroom after she came out another women went in and found 20.00 dollars on the floor my wife had dropped the 20.00 bill in the restroom and spoke up and said it was hers. The owner questioned my wife several times quote on quote is it yours are you sure. Why would she lie about that I came to support your business don't need to lie about 20 measly dollars. The subliminal comments did not stop there upon receiving our check the owner said quote hope all was good today please leave a good tip since you already took my other one in reference to the 20.00 once again. Like I said I don't write reviews unless I truly feel a type a way that was really rude and I will not be returning again. what a shame food was good and so was the employees but the owner needs to learn how to respect her customer's.

Im not sure why this place got a grub hub partnership recently. They don’t make the order until the driver gets there. That’s terrible for the driver snd the customer. Be aware if you order on grub hub!

Great food, family owned, super friendly staff. I have been going since a week after they opened and so far, June 2017, the food is sooooo good and reminiscent of the food from home! I have never once been disappointed or dissatisfied with my meal or the service. Good homemade food takes time and effort and they do it with class.

absolutely delicious, tasty, flavorful, authentic mexican food, 100 times 5 stars. best in the area, the birria tacos were cooked perfectly, the meat was tender & seasoned so well. my man had the carne asada & it was super good also, the rice was fire. the churros? off the HOOK. the churros I try are usually hard as a rock, the owner informed me they were cooked fresh, & hard churros are usually frozen! super friendly & warm, family owned business, best mexican around again.

We got chips and guac, chips fried in house and the guacamole was delicious! He got chicken tacos and I got birria- both were so flavorful and! Incredible food, a true local favorite.

First - dont take my ding for atmosphere as bad. The restaurants design is not intended to be this 5 star environment - it is what it is and you get what you pay for - outstanding food at a very reasonable price. The family service is over the top, they get your order right every time (as they should) but they present your order (we usually take out) in a way that builds confidence and the degree they go for attention to detail. This is the valley's diamond in the rough for top shelf Mexican food and it wont break your budget. Its the kind of family business you feel good about supporting.

I love to see my fellow Latinos thriving especially when it comes to GREAT food. Finally got a chance to try La Perla Tapatia and it did not disappoint. Very warm and welcoming service. The owner was adorable, loved her personality and enthusiasm for her dishes. I, of course, tried the birria tacos and loved them! The flan was very good as well. My boyfriend had the Birria dish and tacos as well, both he enjoyed thoroughly. They have 2 new repeat customers. Make sure you don’t bypass this little gem in Easton.
