Never go to this restaurant, it is bad in all aspects, bad service, bad food and very little but it is expensive, never come, it is a depressing atmosphere and the waitresses are rude and unpleasant.

Cubans were not fresh tasted dry. They were mostly premade sitting in the fridge with no dates. Gratuity was included, but not mentioned. Coffee was amazing though.

It was my first time coming to this restaurant. I arrived at 7:30pm on Monday and place was completely empty. No one sitting but just orders to go by take out apps. I left there at 8:15pm and I have asked for several dishes and if THESE were “FRESH” and I was advised they were Not. I asked for something else and I indeed regretted buying it. Ordered Italian Liver and it was terrible. Super Hard meet, burned to the point it was black. Very thin cuts and hard to cut. Green peppers and onions were not fresh either. “Moros” rice had a good taste but seemed it was cooked early that day or the next day. I asked for fried green plantains and I received two pieces and these were reheated in the microwave and not fresh at all, full of oil and hard. I also asked for a bowl of soup “split pea” and it was delicious. Not fresh but it was good. I will go buy it again.

My bf and I stop by to take food with us sometimes. The employees working at this establishment are very sweet and attentive.

I ordered a BIG bowl of chicken soup. When I opened to eat at my house, was just water and 1 small piece of chicken. You guys could do better.

Food is really good. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! Super slow. No ac or it barely works. 4 waitresses standing around a coffee pot as one pours. The rest just chatting away and on their phones ignoring costumers, not fulfilling food orders No multitask prioritize get it done hustle like them old school dinner waitresses that get you in fed and out very quickly. Here you will sit and you wait. I’ve gone other times and the service was just as bad and slow. The restaurant always feels like a sauna. It’s so hot in there. But the food is really good. Maybe call ahead and have takeout ready for when you get there. All 3 of my stars are for the food. It could be 5 if the service improved. Chicken soup and mofungo are amazing!

We went there three times for lunch. The food was great, so was the service except the third time we had a female server. We were surprised that they automatically added the Tips to the bill even though there were only 2 of us, the CC receipt is a little misleading because it still had the option of tipping like there were no automatic tips added.

They take forever to come to the table, the one waiter has an attitude most of the time and once you are out, your clothes stink like greasy food. Very loud as well. There are other better options

This place is the best Cuban food around, not expensive, is almost as good as my mother used to cook. When you step into the restaurant, you feel like you are in Cuba, and the waitress speaks very little English. The food is amazing, I would highly recommend.

Loved the ambiance of this place, very welcoming, energetic, and good music as you eat or just have your café con leche. The owner was present and very sweet to everyone. Unfortunately, my experience only worsened from there. The lady I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. Despite explaining that I had refrigerated the breakfast upon receiving it and only noticed the issue when I went to reheat it, she refused to offer any solution or replacement. Her lack of empathy and professionalism left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Customer service is paramount in the restaurant industry, and the way my concerns were handled fell far short of expectations. I believe that if a mistake occurs, it should be rectified with courtesy and understanding. However, the response I received from the staff was anything but. I had hoped for a resolution to this issue, but the rude and unhelpful attitude of the staff has led me to share my experience here. I would caution others considering dining at to be wary of the customer service they may encounter.

I ordered 2 pan con bistec to go, both sandwiches completely slobbered with mayonnaise when asked just for no onions… and both sandwiches falling apart entirely…fries ??? I’m new to the area. I’m from Miami and south Broward and am used to the hustle and bustle of a Cuban restaurant and bakery. So I was looking for a spot to grab cafecito. I walked in NO ONE said good morning or hello nothing! It took all of 10 minutes for one of the 3 ladies in there to ask if I ordered on line. I ordered ham croquettes and a tostada and a cafe con leche. The croquettes were mediocre and the bread was flat as heck no butter and just dry! It’s a no for me. I guess it’s the only place in the area…. So I’ll be putting it out there for my entrepreneurial friends we need a real Cuban spot in this area please!

I decided to give this place a chance because I was in the mood for Latin food. The food was AWFUL. I ordered the pollo a la plancha and chicken soup. The food had an unpleasant stench, the meat smelled as it had gone bad and they still cooked it and the rice was hard. The soup tasted like canned soup. I’m extremely disappointed as the food was inedible and I ended up having to throw it away. Please do not waste your money here. I could make it 10x better at home.

Super disappointed to be writing this review. The food is always top notch and exactly what I’m craving when I want some Cuban cuisine. I ordered some food for pickup last night and when my app told me it was ready my husband and I went to the store - my husband waited for 15 minutes because the first woman who attempted to help my husband said the order wasn’t ready yet. The second person to come look for our order and first tried to give my husband someone else’s to go order. Then she told my husband that the order had already been picked up to be delivered by someone else, my husband tried to explain that wasn’t possible as our order was not for delivery and if they messed up and gave our food to someone else that was their error and we still wanted our food. After 10 minutes of the woman trying to call her boss (who wouldn’t answer) my husband finally said forget it, we will call and get our money back and take our business elsewhere. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just re-make our food since they screwed up and gave someone else our food and I don’t know why that needed to be called to her boss anyways. Service is lacking and to have at least one person who is fluent in English would probably assist with issues regarding food orders. Very very sad and disappointing as I love their food.
