Overall Experience 5/5: This place is truly a hidden gem in Hightstown! I had an excellent experience dining here and will definitely be returning. Food/Drink 4.75/5: We ordered pizza, wings, cream soda, and dessert. Everything tasted fantastic, with the pizza and wings being authentically wood-fired. The dessert was a highlight, with the chocolate cake and chocolate-dipped cannoli both having just the right amount of sweetness and incredible flavor. Pricing 4/5:The pricing was reasonable for what we got, and I’d say it was definitely worth it. Service 5/5: The service was outstanding. The owner checked in on us multiple times and was very down-to-earth, making us feel like family. Aesthetic/Atmosphere 4/5: The restaurant is a good size with a pub/sports bar vibe that feels lively but not too chaotic.

Friendly. Comfortable. Great service. The food is great. Actually eating in is fantastic. We get food to go regularly and it's very good. But somehow better when served hot in the restaurant. I guess that's obvious but in this case it's noticeable (at least for me).

My son and I stopped in for a quick pizza when I was picking up my new bike. Hit all the numbers of a great pizza.

I recently ordered 2 pizzas (1 pepperoni, 1 mushroom) + a sub to go. They gave me 2 pepperoni pizzas. When I called back to explain they screwed up the order, the guy offered to refund me for the mushroom pizza...it's been a week, no refund. What a shame, I live less than a mile from Laurienzo's, but I won't be going back. There are plenty of pizza restaurants more reasonably priced with better customer service.

Best pizza we’ve found in the greater Frederick area. Is a 30 minute drive for us but very worth it. And don’t sleep on the shrimp appetizer.

Best pizza ever! Delicious, authentic, chewy, crispy think crust pies cooked in a brick oven. Family owned, somewhat self service. The owners son was there both times I went. The meatball sub and pesto chicken sup look amazing too but I can’t get past the incredible pizza!

Their pizza is delicious. Try the meatballs...trust me. My daughter loved their pesto chicken sandwich. The staff is very friendly. The owner is working with his crew and engages with customers. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his business.

We popped in after a long road trip back home. Our kids needed the bathroom and were hungry. They invited us in with smiles and kindness, the atmosphere was so friendly, and the smells were wonderful. We didn't even have to order when the nice gentleman offered to heat up some slices of pizza for us. It was only after sitting down that I realized that it was closing time. But they invited us to stay an enjoy our food. Thank you for such a wonderful and delicious experience!

We were just passing by and picked up a side of meatballs ($10) as a quick snack. Probably one of the best meatballs I’ve had: 8/10. If this place was closer, I’d definitely back often.

Made myself a killer meat lovers pie Bacon, Pep, Sausage, meatballs, and ham. total was $30 with a drink but totally worth it!

My family and I just ate here while on our way from D.C to New York. There weren’t many options in the area, so we thought we’d give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised to say the least! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend. If you are traveling through, don’t miss out on this place!

Stopped here randomly during a road trip and was not disappointed. The wood fired wings were a 10 and the buffalo chicken sandwich was great as well. Friendly service and reasonable prices make this a good spot to check out.

Came here with a group of ~20 and the food and service was fantastic. Give Jay a call ahead of time and he will put tables together for your group and make sure the restaurant is ready to serve a group your size. I called about 20 minutes before we arrived and Jay got the pizzas and food going so it came out very quickly once we arrived. I just asked him to give us a good variety and we had multiple kinds of pizza including several kinds for the vegetarians in the group, delicious Caesar salad, wings, cannolis and cookies. The food was great and speedy and Jay and the staff were very friendly. Thanks Jay and team!

Jay was super kind, professional and welcoming! He opened the door for us as we walked in. He explained to us how things work in the establishment. Orders are to be made at the front. Water, utensils, and containers are located at the other end. Everything is well organized. The food was amazing! I took my family here and everyone enjoyed the service & food. Highly recommend! The pizza was well cooked, thin, great flavors! Pasta was cheesy and had lots of flavor so the shrimp just amplified it. The sun was perfection - chicken was falling apart, super juicy, great taste!

We stopped to have lunch on our way back to Ohio after finishing a job in Leonardtown , the food was amazing I had the broccolli spaghetti with chicken and it was so good the broccoli the noodles the chicken all cooked to perfection amazing flavor large enough I could eat about 95% of it also ordered a pizza to take with us we thought it would make it to Ohio but that didn’t happen we will be stopping back next week for certain , also one other little thing that I thought was awesome because I do the same with my work I spotted the owner take a pic of the food as it was coming out total sense of pride and care that the food he was about to serve looked as if it was on a commercial we knew then the food was 🔥

I moved to this area a few years ago and this is one of my favorite places! I usually get to go orders but the service is fantastic. I especially love the wings, pizza & spinach salad!! Check this place out if you’re in the area

Pizza, salad, wings, and pastrami sandwich were all tasty. Had great service and a nice atmosphere. I don't like not having fountain drinks available. They have canned drinks, and I had to buy three just to have enough with my meal. Good place to stop and eat.

The owner (or manager) was so delighted to see us and so helpful it was like we were regulars and it was our first time. The food was great bar food and the service was fast and accurate. It wasn't very crowded so the atmosphere was chill and not too loud but I don't know what it's like with a full house.

I needed to pick up dinner for a group of friends and had a great experience working with Mickey at Laurienzos. I called an hour before my pickup time and he had them ready for me to go when I arrived. The food is delicious, staff is great. Highly recommend!

Stopped in on a rainy Tuesday afternoon in the middle of a long drive. What a breath of fresh air! The pies are flavorful with just the right amount of sauce and generous toppings, the wings are EXCELLENT, and everybody is as nice as can be. The next time I’m in this neck of the woods, I’d drive out of my way to come back to Laurienzo!

I've been here a few times.Unfortunately, one of the times I found a piece of glass in my pizza. I have no idea how that even happened.If I had brought this up to the manager, there is a high chance he wouldn't  have believed me.Overall, the atmosphere is nice and the food is good.But I won't come back again!

We took a pit stop thanks to traffic on 270 and oh my goodness! We walked into little Italian heaven! Linda is LOVELY. We had the sweetest chat after dinner about Williamsburg VA and I really hope she goes. The atmosphere is a whole vibe. I would have loved to sit on the big comfy couch and the kids loved the booth with the built in tv playing Snow White. Since we had our pup we ate outside and enjoyed everything. Wings. Slamming! Pizza. Phenomenal!! Ravioli. Delicious!!! Thanks so much for your hospitality!! We will come back on purpose next time and we were just passing through from VA towards home to NJ.

Amazing spot to stop for great food. The owner was super helpful and asked us if we needed anything, made conversation, and explained the menu. The food was the best I've had in a long time and worth every penny. I would stop again if I was remotely close. I'm sad I live 8 hours away.

My husband and I went for the first time Sunday 6/25/2023 and so glad we did! The pizza is phenomenal!! Thin crispy crust, cheesy and incredibly delicious! Very close to NY Style. The prices are very reasonable, too! We’re new regular customers!!!

I have ordered numerous dishes here, as we often stop after golf at nearby PB Dye. Every single meal I have had has been delicious--tender, tasty meats, perfect seasoning, ample salads, reasonable prices. The atmosphere is informal, and the owners and staff are very friendly; we chat with them every time and complement them on their food. If you are passing by at mealtime, stop in; and it is even worth going out of your way!

Traveling from Rochester NY and keeping low expectations for pizza outside of my area, this place blew my favorite pizza spot back home out of the park. The restaurant is family owned, the owner was very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was just so relaxing and exactly what was needed before a 6 hour drive back home. Highly recommend and definitely will be back while traveling.

It did not disappoint the pizza and cheese bread is mouth watering my kids loved the ravioli we had to order more, also loved their salad and bruschetta I honestly would highly recommend this place. They were so friendly and they gave me some veggies on the side so i can make a smilie face on the pizza for my kids.
