Layla's Falafel is a must-try! I recently had the chicken and rice plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the portion was huge. The hummus was incredibly creamy and smooth, and the pita bread was fresh and warm. I couldn't finish it all, but I'll definitely be back to try it again soon. 🥙🍚🌟

Layla’s Liz falafel is always top notch. I was happy to see that that they both had meat and vegetarian Kibbe. Service was very good and they always wrap everything up to go well. The only problem about this location is parking is very sparse upfront.

I recently used Layla's catering for a family event, and it was such a great experience! JP was amazing to work with - so professional and always quick to respond. As someone of Lebanese descent, I was a bit worried that the food wouldn't meet our high standards, but it was absolutely fantastic! Everything was so delicious and fresh, and they were incredibly generous. I would absolutely use them again, and I highly recommend that you do too!

The bowl that we ordered and shared was amazing!! Always such fresh and beautifully crafted ingredients. We ordered chicken with hummus and garlic, tabouli, cauliflower, mujadrah, salad, eggplant. The woman who took our order could not have been more delightful, and she was so lovely and courteous to everyone on the phone and waiting in line. The best. Did I mention that I love 💕 Layla’s?

[Edit:] (if I could give them 10 stars I would!) Today, I tried Layla's Falafel's Lentil Soup and WOW, and it is sooooo good. The soup is flavorful, hearty, but light and still filling. I love it! I wanted to include this new dish I tried today, because it is great! [Orginal Review:] I do not think people understand how AMAZING the Mujadara rice is! So delicious and flavorful. It's my favorite item on the menu. The stuffed grape leaves, the hummus, and their homemade Baklava are some of my other favorites. This is one of the better restaurants in Fairfield, for sure.

I recently visited Layla's Falafel, and I was thoroughly disappointed. The atmosphere was uninviting, and the staff lacked basic courtesy no warm greeting or friendly welcome. The place felt more like a take out joint than a spot for a relaxing sit down lunch. Having had excellent Mediterranean food at another place in Southport, I had similar expectations for Layla's, but I was quickly dissapointed. The pita chips resembled Mexican nachos, and the chicken and lamb platter was cold and unappetizing. The beef in the kibbeh was also cold and tasted stale. Overall, the experience was far from pleasant, and I won't be returning.

We ordered a large catering order from Layla’s for a staff and teacher appreciation luncheon. The food was raved about! Absolutely delicious, generous portions, and great to work with! Thank you!!

Layla’s Falafel (Fairfield) has been around for such a long time and for good reason! The woman there is an absolute professional and the food is honestly delicious, it hasn’t changed since I can remember! I looked at negative reviews out of curiosity and it’s a shame for them! I have never had a bad experience and I’ve had their food as a treat, randomly over the course of at least 15 years. No one else compares. The flavor is delicious, especially the Arabic Shawarma! The garlic dipping sauce is phenomenal. If you want delicious and quality Middle Eastern food, this is where it’s at!

The wraps are always a bit too dry to my liking. The portion of vegetables and meat on a pita is good. Grape leaves are awesome!!

I went there to have dinner with my spouse, the service is perfect. But the food was not good cuz has no flavor specifically the chicken and lamb shawarma the rice was not fresh it’s like was warmed by the microwave. However,The only 2 things were good the falafel and Kiba. They don’t have public bathroom and the store is too Small. The price was expensive too.

I cannot say enough good things about Layla's and Dino and the whole prep kitchen team. My now husband and I decided to have them cater our wedding this past weekend and they went above and beyond in accommodating us in every way you can imagine, making us feel like family. He himself came by to drop off the food and make sure we had everything we needed, even though he had at least four other events he was catering. We have dined at Layla's in Trumbull for years and have only had positive experiences. Needing a lunchtime meal, and with Fairfield being closer, we opted to take out from that location. UGH - never again. In some bizarre cooking feat, Layla's was able to make the shawarma both dried out and greasy at the same time. Lentil and rice mixture was also dried out; I'm not certain if it was left over and reheated or just poorly prepared. In any event it was virtually inedible. I don't mind paying for good quality food, but at their prices, it should be at least be edible; so, from a value standpoint it was a terrible lunch. Back to Trumbull next time.
