Beautiful bakery! The cake was second to none! A new favorite for me and my family. I will come back and try the lunch menue soon.

All year, 6 days a week these folks produce a large and tasty menu. Bowtie pastries are very good.

Beware the hours are not up-to-date: We’re on a long 11 hour road trip and detoured several miles off our route on the Google recommendation that this establishment is open and it is CLOSED; Fortunately there were other places open nearby and we were able to take-away 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches from somewhere else.

We ordered our wedding cake from Le Chantilly and we couldn't have been happier with what we got! Laura was very friendly and patient working with us on the design (we had an art deco/Star Wars/Warhammer 40K theme going on that was hard to mash together). I'll admit, my husband and I didn't feel very helpful to Laura in telling her what we wanted for a design--and yet she delivered the perfect cake! It was delicious, also. I got several compliments from guests on the cake. Overall, we were most impressed with Laura herself, because she was so friendly and sweet and patient. I was pretty stressed out throughout the wedding planning process, and her positive attitude and reassurance helped immensely.

Seriously surprised by the number of good reviews. Service was terrible with food to match. Staff lacks basic customer service skills. The staff was inattentive and not sympathetic. Our interactions were sprinkled with eye rolling and quick departures from the table. Croissant was stale, sandwich was bland. Our coffee came at the end of the meal and one of us ordered hot tea- they brought an empty teapot. There was a full staff and only two other tables when we arrived and when we left so I can't seem to find any excuse other than lack of management.

The quiche was delicious, the best. All food made fresh daily. We love coming here with friends and family.

I had the most wonderful turkey cheese and green chili croissant sandwich. Absolutely great portion. The homemade potatoe salad was delicious.

Employees are very kind. But it is nothing like French boulangerie!! They have French desserts that only taste like sugar cookies.

The best real French pastries in ABQ! I especially like the classic chocolate eclair which is filled with vanilla custard rather than whipped cream. The cafe has a cozy section in the back surrounded by bookshelves filled with books. It's a perfect place to spend the afternoon on a cold day drinking coffee, eating pastries and reading a book!

Had the framboise blanc for our wedding and it was the best cake I have ever tasted in my entire life. Hands down!

Horrible wait times resulting from personnel and staffing issues. They describe their pastries as fine. That is not the case and they're very overpriced. If you're in this neighborhood, go to La quiche def not here

Love this place! Come in often to grab goodies from the dessert case. Had a spinach quiche and the honey bee coffee this morning, was very tasty.

1st time there, I ordered the chicken tarragon 1/2 sandwich with a cup of soup. Very good. Good coffee, a great wait person. Quiet. Lots of homemade goodies. Very fair price. 👍

Loved Le Chantilly. The service was great, felt like I was treated like a friend and better yet, the green chile turky croissant and desert we got was Phenomenal and filling. Can't wait to share this cafe/bakery with friends.

From the outside, Le Chantilly looks like a random spot in an unassuming strip mall. The reality is, they have AMAZING french pastries, a friendly and welcoming staff, and a very relaxed atmosphere to meet up with a friend over coffee or tea or grab something to go. Do you need alt milk to go in your coffee? They've got it. Looking for an interesting tea blend to sip with your croissant? They have that too. My go-to pastries are the Alexander Tart and the Apricot Twist, but friends I've come here with also enjoy their lunches. Though principally French in influence, there are of course a few New Mexican traditions that have snuck their way into the menu. If you're in the ABQ area, definitely check them out!

This place has a decent selection of goodies and staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve not eaten there, just purchased some pastries. While I like their products, my main issue is that their icing is WAY too sweet. It over powers the taste of the pastries. Their pecan rolls are the best since they don’t use icing on it. Too many of the other products have too much icing on them, which detracts from the overall taste because they are too sweet. I prefer a more balanced taste.

The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is amazing everything is baked fresh every day and taste so delicious i never been to a pastry shop before and let me tell you definitely was worth it i will continue to come and tell others you wont be disappointed !

This is a fine little bakery, they have some great sandwiches on green chile croissants and last time we were there we had sme small cheese sticks that were great.

Last visit, I made sure to ask if We order at the table or at the register, I was told We could have a seat and someone will come and take our food order, that didn't happen, I had to go up to register and place our food order. Our quiche came and was cold and our water was never refilled. Maybe, they forgot We were there. Too bad won't be returning.

My grandfather is on hospice and has not had an appetite at all for the past few weeks. He’s already a picky eater to begin with. My mother has cooked him every meal he has requested and he only takes one or two bites before he feels done with it. I got him an eclair from Le Chantilly. He had never had an eclair from here before. This morning my mom texted me letting me know that he ate the entire thing and said “I could LIVE off of these things!” Knowing that he experienced the joy of eating again after weeks of not being able to enjoy anything makes me so happy. Thank you. I’ll be back for more! I’d also like to note that when picking out pastries, the girls working the counter were so nice and patient with me. I was stressed out about my grandpa and I really wanted to find something he would enjoy. They helped out a lot!

I've been a Le Chantilly fan for many years. Ever since I came here with my mom I've been coming back for more. The pumpkin muffin was DELICIOUSO. Mmm. Stop by to see their window Halloween decorations and grab yourself a pumpkin shaped cookie or mini bat cake. Chocolate lovers this cake is for you. Can't wait for more. Curious to see what they do with the interior.

Excellent in all ways. Same fare and then some. It took me back, way back in my past, to where LeChantilly was born. Downtown Albuquerque next to the office tower including a floor or two for USWest and Qwest and then the Hyatt hotel tower. Roughly 30-40 years ago. Still just as excellent and way more to boot!!! Those of us working on those 2 floors were so sad when they had to move. 1st time to have visited the new location after all these years. Best stuffed croissants ever.

What a disappointment. We paid way to much for two desserts today. We opened the.box and everything was sticky like the wrappers were used. We literally just bought them and opened it it in the car the were so soggy and the frosting tasted like gritty sugar paste. Sad not going again.

Love, BUT they need to update their hours. The sign on the door says they close at 3. Drove across the entire city, only to arrive 15 minutes after they closed.

Shop will close 3pm almost everyday. Bought dark chocolate cake. Perfect! Less sweet and compact of the taste. Cost 16$ for 4 pax size

Le Chantilly sits in a nondescript strip mall. But once inside things improve. The pastry/counter area isn't spectacular, but the dining area is very nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our breakfast there. The green chile quiche was as good a quiche as I've ever had, with the most perfect texture in the eggs blending with the cheese and allowing all the flavors of the ingredients to come through. The spinach croissant was rather less flavorful. They have a great selection of teas, and my wife's latte was top notch. Even if breakfast fills you up, you'll be hard pressed to not stop and get one of those magnificent pastries on the way out.

Super friendly, beats any donut shop in town for pastries. They also have the most fabulous quiche!!! Thank you ladies for the great pastries and conversation this morning.

The atmosphere is very nice, but the sandwich that we ordered was rather disappointing. They had only one type of bread in stock, the amount of meat and cheese on the sandwich was minimal; it was uninspiring. In addition the server seemed rushed, even though the restaurant was pretty empty. I'll try them again and order a different meal in hopes that I just got them on a bad day.

Years ago, when I lived in Albuquerque's Heights, or visited it frequently, I used to buy a dozen croissants at Le Chantilly and take them home to freeze. YummMMYYyyyy! Breakfast treats for the four of us for three weeks! I'm sure they're still great. But now I get there only every couple of months, so our croissants now come from Costco -- they're great too -- and now I get Viennese pastries from Le Chantilly. Breslins! Petit Fours! And so many other delightful things. OMG! Did I mention Breslins? You can have a wonderful lunch there, too. With a pastry for dessert! Go! Eat! Love! There's so very much to love at Le Chantilly.

It's for girl . Bakery was very good the lack of real food was not for me we had keyish it was very watery. I'd pass on this except for their backed goods.

BEST sugar cookies. The carrot cake is decadent! The frosting is soooo good. My husband tried the blueberry strudel and he said it was the best strudel he ever had. So yeah...this place is good!!!

My daughter and I went in for lunch. The food was great and the service was good. The woman who serves us was very pleasant and attentive.

I have been coming to this place for many years. Always satisfied with the quality of food and service. The owner herself is typically is there every morning to make fresh new delicious offerings. Anywhere from wonderful pastries to delicious quiches and sandwiches. Open for breakfast and lunch both are wonderful. Let's not forget that if you enjoy coffee, they also have wonderful cappuccinos and lattes. I have always enjoyed this place I hope that you get a chance to come and experience their food and hospitality. Next time I visit I will try to get some photos for you all to see their wonderful offerings.

Can't say enough about this place. A meal to go in each croissant. Carné Asada or a sweet raspberry w cheese and a hot coffee. The staff is always there with a kind words. Pre covid was the spot for breakfast.

I have gone here for years, and enjoyed it many times. I went during the Pandemic, and everything was clean. There were not as many choices due to sanitation concerns. I got a couple of pieces of quiche, a croissant, and a cherry pastry. Tres bien!

SUCH a fulfilling way to shop local I have been going here for a decade or more! There's no better place in Albuquerque for fresh homemade pastries... trust me, I've looked. Also the staff is really wonderful, the place is really comfy and the quality is always consistent..

I love this place and was glad to go back today after a long absence. About 2 PM on Saturday, june 6. Of I was, however upset to see that one of the two staff, a young man, was serving someone while wearing his mask in a way that left his nostrils exposed.

Decent place for a quick sweet bite in Albuquerque. Prices are definitely higher than they should be (average of $5 per dessert, which is about the same price you pay for the best desserts in Paris). Came here mainly to support small local businesses, which I’m glad I did, but nothing special.

THE best (and only) egg, cheese and green Chile croissant I've ever had! Couple that with great, fresh coffee and you have the best place for breakfast. Did I mention it's a Homemade bakery!

This has been my favorite pastry restaurant for the past 25 years! I live on the east coast but travel back to New Mexico as often as I can to visit family and make sure to ALWAYS make a stop here! Since I was little my favorite pastries have always been the pink and white petite fortes, but with (the amazing) Terry’s help and suggestions, I have now tried the quiches, the almond pockets, the sugar cookies, and the wonderful coffee! My latest visit to Le Chantilly left me feeling such gratitude for Terry and the rest of the great people that work there, that I was compelled to make a declaration about it. Hopefully, to connect more people to the love that they create in their café, through the outstanding food and service. A special thanks to Terry for making me feel so welcome and for being down-right awesome! I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

This little slice of heaven was tucked away in a shopping center. Plenty good eats..I had the bacon cheese quiche -which I shared with my daughter and we had apple strudel (Mom) Cherry Strudel (Daughter)....Noting disappointed👏....💜

I'm opening this review with the caveat that I may update all information and opinions after the actual wedding cake is created and consumed. However, I just couldn't wait for the event that brought us to Le Chantilly for planning to sing their praises. First for the service, we arrived by appointment for a planning session for our wedding cake with no idea how to go about design. The baker/designer brought us morning drinks and walked us through design options and the array of flavors that met our exceedingly tight criteria. She did all this with gentleness, smiles, and infinite patience in regards to our frankly odd requests and Raz's inability to focus and be still after a healthy sampling of high-sugar wedding confectionery. Among our odd requests is a top tier of fruitcake on the wedding cake since tradition dictates that we keep it for our first anniversary, and no other cake can survive that duration of waiting. Our Baker didn't bat an eye, she just gathered one of the freshly made fruitcakes and cut us a sample to taste. I'll be a monkey's uncle if that wasn't the best fruitcake we've had in the last 20 years! It was almost impressive enough for us to trade out the other layers for it, but we figure we'll keep the best for ourselves on the day... On our way out, we stopped for savory pastries. Savory pastries are hard to find in Albuquerque for some reason, and we were joyful to have found them. We're doubly joyful to have eaten some truly wonderful meat, cheese, egg, and even spinach-filled croissant and puff-pastry. Even if our wedding cake isn't right out of our dreams, we'll be back for more of those pastries!

Intenté pedir solo café, pero estaba tan débil que lo dejé. También una vez probé una (pequeña) sopa / sándwich que no fue memorable excepto por el precio. Un pequeño estacionamiento en este mini centro comercial de la esquina significa que probablemente deberías elegir tus momentos con cuidado. Mis amigos todavía ocasionalmente me invitan a conocerlos en Chantilly, pero 3 intentos fueron suficientes para mí.

Ordered a birthday cake the day before the birthday and they had it ready by the morning. Went in and also bought an assortment of pastries. Workers are very helpful and explained the pastries with great patience. Very pleased with the customer service.

I love this place sooooo much!! The food here it's always incredible and talking to Teri, Alex and Bethany is consistently great! I would highly recommend either the almond butter strudel or the pecan sticky bun! You've gotta get them warmed up and drizzled with melted butter to really great how amazing they are 😉

Let Chantilly is an excellent French bakery with a wide variety of yummy breakfast and dessert pastries. They have several tables where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch. Besides pastries, for breakfast you can get an excellent egg, cheese, and green chile croissant or have a quiche. Lunch adds salads, sandwiches, and soups. We have made Le Chantilly a frequent weekend breakfast destination for several years.

Tres Francais! Bakery in front with casual dine in area reminiscent of a tea house lounge. The wide variety of pastries is plentiful and yummy. The savory options include a green chile turkey or carne adovada croissant. Servers appeared to be very inexperienced and made mistakes but food was timely. Air conditioning was not working well on a hot day.
