My husband and I held a welcome party for our wedding guests the night before our wedding, a large majority that were staying at the Whipporwhill campground connected, and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect location! Conner, Mallory and their staff went above and beyond to help ensure we had the perfect event. The patio space was the perfect antmosphere and had the best vibes and once it got dark enough for the string lights to come on it was a total dream!! Their craft beer and wine selection were amazing and kept our crew very satisfied! We highly recommend both Ledge Rock Hill Winery and the Whipporwhill as a must add to your Lake George getaways!

Had an amazing experience at Ledge Rock Hill Winery! The wines were absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the tasting experience fun and informative. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Loved the beautiful setting and can’t wait to visit again!

Stopped by with our 91 year old mother for a tasting. Between the three of us, all of the wines were tried. Abby was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. She was attentive to our table, and mother as well! The outdoor space was very comfortable and the inside was great! We will be back!

Great experience!! Delicious wines! Great atmosphere, and excellent service 👍. I loved all the vintage fishing gear. My wife and I were looking something to do on a rainy Saturday afternoon which happened to be our 10 year anniversary 😉, and this was a winner. We vacation in Lake George at least twice a year and will most definitely return. Thanks for the memories!

We were very disappointed. We just moved to the area and made a special trip to enjoy the advertised live music and outdoor seating. We were completely ignored when we walked in, so we grabbed a menu and looked around. It wasn't very busy so we couldn't figure out why we were ignored, but chose to let it go. We decided we'd buy a bottle of wine and sit outside to listen to the music. We chose our wine, went to the counter and stood there for about ten minutes while everyone around us was being greeted and served. All of the staff made eye contact with us and no one spoke a word to us. Maybe because I didn't want to do a tasting? I know what kinds of wine I enjoy and chose a bottle. Finally, we were addressed and my husband said we'd like the bottle opened and a glass, and she asked if we were staying at the campground. We said no, thinking there was a special or something for the people camping, and then we were very rudely told we couldn't take a bottle outside but we could have a glass poured. "Something about being in the Adirondack Park," is what she said to us. After being ignored for so long, I didn't see how that choice would be enjoyable, so we left. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Had a wonderful experience! The Wine was fantastic and our server Shannon was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend a visit!

Service and attitude of the server was terrible. Very rude and condescending. We sat for 30 minutes and received only 2 of our 5 tastings during that time. When we got up for help she was waiting on another table that arrived after us and clearly not concerned that we were leaving. Although the first two wines were nice we will never go back.

Love the atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and enjoyed every wine I tasted. Cranberry blanc was hands down my favorite!

Visiting from Michigan and stopped to do a wine tasting, both people were very knowledgeable and super sweet. Every wine we tried had such a unique flavor and they were amazing. Definitely recommend this winery to anyone who is looking for a friendly environment and good wine🍷

Wine tasting 5 selections offered from a variety of sweet and dry wines. $12.00 cost. Paul was very knowledgeable and described each wine. Highly recommend Ledge Rock Hill wines, all have a distinct flavor. Tastings will vary per season, as described by the waitress. Worth the trip when your in the Lake George area. Reasonable prices.

Outstanding staff. Location is great, decor was spot on for the Adirondacks. More importantly wines are incredible. Something for everyone. Great family owned business.

This place was clean, spacious AND charming. It had a woodsy, cabin-like feeling on the inside. We chose the inside for its air conditioning, but they offered outdoor seating as well. The staff was attentive, but not overwhelming. They were not pushy and were honest about their recommendations. We felt welcomed and comfortable while there. We enjoyed a wine tasting, which offered both sweets and dry wines. The cheese and crackers they offered seemed more high end than the typical wine tasting room. We hope they sell the crackers to go next time! They were so good! We plan on returning to Lake George later this summer. Ledge Rock Hill will be our first stop.

We've been there several times for tastings - great experience. Wines are pretty good. The only challenge is finding the place - it's really in the boonies - but GPS works.

The Goose and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this winery a couple weeks ago. We just happened upon it on our ride into the Adirondacks!! Christy and Viv were fabulous hosts and I fell in love with the white cranberry wine and the chocolate truffle (even though I let it melt first🤣). It was such a beautiful quaint little laidback winery nestled in the trees!! Thank you for such a great experience!! Goose felt right at home😉!!

We made a stop here on trip to Lake George and you couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere or nicer people! We had a great time and really enjoyed our tasting and the live music!

One of our favorite wineries.. We always visit each time we are in the area.. love the wines and the peaceful surroundings.. Stopped by today on our way home- so glad we did. Paul made our wine tasting an awesome experience.. He is so kind.. He suggested tasting something I never would have tried and I loved it!! Old Vine Zinfandel is a must try!! See you soon 😊🍷

They wiped off the rain from the outdoor chairs for us. We literally got there 5 minutes after they opened. Very friendly and informative. We had the It.platter with our flights. Can honestly say we liked everything we tried. Took several bottles home as well.

What a lovely find! We almost drove by. The little winery sign caught our eye as we went by. This discovery was delightful. We had several plates of cheeses, meats, etc. The sweet wine tasting was delicious and made choosing one for a glass pleasantly difficult. A bottle came home with us.

Amazing small winery. The wines are just bursting with kinds of great flavors. The people were great. Abby was a terrific wine server. If you are in the lake George/ Adirondack area, this is a must see!

Absolutely awesome unique location and the people were so friendly that it really adds to the experience. Big fan of the wines and very good variety of flavors so there’s something you like no matter what your preference.

Went for a tasting for my wedding and it was extremely pleasant. The wine was extremely tasty and the staff was extremely welcoming, also very cute place to enjoy some very delicious wines. I would go back to enjoy a wine tasting again it was a fun experience.

Gorgeous woodsy setting with chipmunks scurrying about. Nice selection of wines to buy it just taste along with tasting plates of charcuterie, cheese or chocolate. Sometimes serve lunch and have music.

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience at Ledge Rock Hill Winery. We were warmly greeted and sat in the winery itself (although outdoor seating was also available). The ability to choose our wines (from roughly a dozen) for tasting was fun and the tapas plates served complimented our choices. The wait staff and the winery itself were amazing, relaxing and just what we needed. Would highly recommend visiting. We will be going back.

Visited this winery while on our trip in lake george, it was a little bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the 25 minute drive from Canada Street. Very good wines and a nice relaxing atmosphere. The servers were very knowledgeable and hospitable 5 stars.

This was an amazing experience for both myself and my two friends! We were allowed to bring our dog with us, even though she is technically allowed to be everywhere because she is service animal, but there were plenty of other dogs there that were not. It was really nice for our dog and they even brought us a bowl of water for her! The place itself was very low key and quant. It’s kind of out of the way if you are vacationing in the Lake George area, but it was preferable because of covid and how many people were crowding the streets in the main sections of Lake George. The sweet wines were delicious and we ended up buying four wines! It wasn’t expensive either. The hostess was incredibly kind as well. She even gave us double shots because she was running around. We had to order some food due to covid causing places like wineries and bars to only be open if they serve some food, so we ordered a cheese and meat board d well as some chocolate truffles, all of them were delicious and the crackers that were served were fantastic! Definitely recommend. Before leaving we went to the bathroom in the outhouse, which was impeccably clean and had a functioning toilet, which for me was preferable. The only downside of the area is that the WiFi sucks, so if you plan on drinking-drinking, make sure you have a designated driver. You won’t be getting ahold of an Uber and Lift easily. Overall the experience was great! Definitely a place people should check out if they like wine and off the beat places that are quant and cozy.

Great little winery/tasting room in the heart of the beautiful Adirondacks! My family of 4 loved the wine, the wonderful snacks and the great service. For an easy hour or so away from the crowds, this is the perfect place to unwind and sample some lovely wines. Everyone had masks on and it was very easy to social distance ourselves. Highly recommended!

Love the Ledge Rock Hill Winery. Vivian is such a sweetheart and really took care of us. Although we were hoping to see the vineyards while we were there, it was still super peaceful and beautiful being nestled in the woods and drinking super fantastic wine. I would totally go back.

Very quaint relaxing place. We were so happy to be able to bring our dogs for the tasting. The outdoor fire and quiet setting is just perfect. Loved the wine, the charcuterie tray and those wonderful chocolates! Would love to have chocolate and wine by mail...Great job!

Wasn't sure what we would find with a winery in the backwoods of Corinth, but true to all the great ratings, my wife and I had a great afternoon at Ledgerock. Great wines and atmosphere. We will be going back!!

The wines here are simply amazing. We have been going here for 7 years and we are never disappointed with the quality of the wine and the friendliness of the staff. Gary’s wine making abilities are unsurpassed. There is so much to enjoy here and wether you prefer sweet or dry, prepare to be satisfied.

Great place! Had a wonderful conversation with the owner...ask him about the “pack of Chihuahuas. Hilarious! The wine is awesome. We brought home a case of our favorites.

Their Sunday yoga is amazing. It is a beautiful setting for yoga as well as wine tasting. They gave started having music as well that is definitely a great addition.

Very nice winery. The building we were in had a bar and the wine shop in front. We heard music in the back and asked to do the wine tasting there. We were very happy with the service and knowledgeable hostesses. The live music was a big plus.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing day here at ledge rock hill winery. I did the yoga class and after we did a tasting together and enjoyed two wonderful classes of wine on the front porch of the winery surrounded by good music, good people, and good times! the staff was wonderful and the bathroom was so clean! Highly recommend making this a stop while your in the ADKs!

It is a lovely place to sip wine. They also had some local people playing guitar and singing music. I recommend it for others who like different local wines. Server was freindly as well.

Ledge Rock has a great setting up the mountain. The tasting room is very fitting for the area. All of the wines are delicious and the customer service is wonderful. Me and my wife haven't been up there this year, but we do intend on getting there soon.

My favorite winery, have been getting wine from there since they opened. Never disappointed

Recently received a bottle of Ledge Rock Hill Winery fruit infused wine, specifically Kiwi Pear Blanc and was pleasantly surprised at the clean, crisp taste with just a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and totally enjoyable. I will definately replenish my supply and share it with friends and family. This is a great choice for anyone who prefers a less dry alternative to typical red or white table wine. Not too sweet but just enough. Well done Gary!
