I love this restaurant. I go whenever I can and I have never been disappointed with any aspect of my experience. The service is always excellent. Servers and waitresses are always attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is also to my liking. Very welcoming and the low lighting creates the perfect ambience for an amazing dinner. The complimentary roasted red peppers, parm and bread are rediculously delicious. The food is top notch and always cooked to perfection. I'm slowly making my way through the menu and to my enjoyment everything has been extremely satisfying. I highly recommend dinning at Bella Vista.

Everything is amazing at this family owned and run restaurant. Such a special place where everything is made to order and made from scratch. Sooo yummy.

Had a great experience! It’s cozy! The service was top notch. They are genuinely proud of what they do and attentive. Every seasoning, every texture, every dish was amazing! A gem! Don’t be in a hurry because each item is prepared for you—-no giant vat of this or that, so just sit back and enjoy.

Outstanding food at reasonable prices

We have gone here for special occasions for years. My parents are gone now, so my Sister and I shared our February birthdays there with dinner. Nostalgic to be sure and the same amount of care and good food as was rembered.

Amazing meal, drinks and felt like royalty!

The Bella Vista is our go to restaurant for family celebrations and visiting friends. Friendly people (Hi Cindy!), great service, don't expect fast food, but there's roasted peppers and soft bread to tide you over. The drinks are prompt and well mixed. The dinner is so very worth the wait. I've skipped around the menu quite a bit and it is always delicious!

Our friend invited us to this restaurant in Little Falls, NY. The service was outstanding! The food was so delicious!! I am a vegetarian. I ordered Hats and Broccoli. I also wanted to add mushrooms and red peppers. They gladly added them to my meal. My friend had Grilled Chicken and my husband had Short Rib Ravioli. They enjoyed them very much!! We also had a delicious dessert and espresso coffee. We were told that the chef (Guy Vespi graduated from Johnson and Wales. So, if you go there, you will have high quality food. The Place is also Snowmobile accessible. That's another plus. They also have outdoor seating. The area is beautiful! We will definitely be back soon! Here are some pictures!

Random chance brought us here -- glad it did. Excellent food, slow Thursday evening. Cindy, co-owner, very personable. Full Bar -- alas we three abstaining. I had Chicken Pastina Soup; it was delicate & hearty at same time, well balanced & separate flavors. Chicken; texture was good & still had flavor. Meatballs; spicy bites, complimented perfectly. House green salad; fresh, crisp, house made dressings - I had raspberry vinaigrette, sweet to calamata olives salt, wonderful combination. Bow ties pasta; pasta perfect texture & not rinsed to blandness. Sauce adhered nicely - a little spicy heat. I only had a taste, my friend cleaned his plate 😉 Haddock special; cooked perfectly, fish flaked nicely. I did not taste & brother did not talk, just ate. At end said he felt was eating at fancy restaurant (food exceeded quaint atmosphere & price). Baked chicken, stuffed w/shrimp, florentine special (think cordon bleu). A taste combination I had to try -- wow did it go well. Cream sauce* & crispy crusting. I was eating too fast... flavors, textures/mouth feel -- sooo good. Forced myself to slow down & saved some for later. (*asked about interesting spice flavor... Do Not ask recipe owner to give up trade secrets 😕😁😘) Had side of potatoes - will try marinara pasta next time. No desert tonight. Roasted peppers & bread -- olive oil & garlic & finely grated parmigiano reggiano (I'm guessing) with house baked crusty bread... just to die for... Cindy said took awhile to catch on, I'm not sure why, seemed perfect combination & beautiful to look at. Anyway, our group understood & enjoyed. Sweet of pepper, garlic, oil, salty from cheese -- how not to love combination... Layered on bread & also dipped traditional way. Oil was excellent on its own. We just happened upon Bella Vista, actually drove past & turned around. Sooo glad we did. Once in a lifetime --

Everything was delicious and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I only visit the area once a year(being from out of state), but I will make sure to eat here whenever I visit the area!

Lovely people, delicious entrees, and a great bartender! They catered our memorial luncheon and were so warm and accommodating. …best prime rib I’ve ever had, and oh my, that chocolate dessert cake was outstanding. Kudos also to our bartender; service with a smile and best ever whiskey sours! Thank you BV for a memorable meal.

The best staff and food I've EVER had!

The food was fantastic but it was a very long wait and I have back issues so the chairs were not accommodating. I will definitely return but with a smaller party

Very professional and polite across the board. Meal of grilled tuna was excellent along with everything served. Scallops cooked to perfection, crumbly blucheese was all excellent.

I have been going to the Bella Vista for 25 years. I've eaten in Italy, London, and in 49 states at some of the best restaurants around including Michelin rated restaurants. It is not fancy but it has THE best veal I've hsd anywhere. The veal in cream sauce is legendary.

What a fantastic dinner. If you're in a hurry, this is not the place. They serve a nice slow dinner and it gives you time to relax. I had a veal dish and it was delicious.

I took Mom for her birthday and it's still the best food I've ever had 😍 Everyone had a great time and the owner got us to sing Happy 🎂🎉 Definitely coming back especially when I need to impress someone ☺️

My husband and I were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary 💕 decided on Bella Vista restaurant without a reservation they made special arrangements and treated us with respect like family and the food was beyond amazing i will definitely make this place a regular

Stopped here randomly on a road trip. Excellent service, fun decor, and delicious Italian style food. Everything was fresh, with a ”homemade” taste. A little pricey, but worth it.

For my money this is by far the best restaurant in the Little Falls area. Guy and Cindy Vespi own this gem where Guy does magic in the kitchen as head chef. And Cindy keeps everything running out in the restaurant and bar greeting each guest as they come in. It's a romantic cozy place to have a special dinner.

We had great food and great service tonight at Bella Vista! The filet is amazing, scallop appetizer was delicious and dessert is homemade. Affordable pricing, and calm, relaxing atmosphere.

I always love going to the Bella Vista. It is a family-run restaurant. Guy Vespi, his wife Cindy, and both their sons(when not achieving high grades academically), work at the restaurant, which is located on the top of a hill outside the city limits of Little Falls, NY. We almost always go on Mother's Day (when the specialty appetizer of the house is sauted fiddle ferns, as well as the wonderful marinated smoked red peppers served with parmesan cheese and crusty bread). We also go on my mom's birthday in September. Mom and my sister usually order the skewered garlic shrimp and scallops (or tuna) which is grilled to perfection. I order whatever tickles my fancy. It's all fabulous.

Cindy Vespi, I know I told you I was not going to do this but I couldn't resist. We revisited Howe Caverns for our anniversary with our 12 and 6 year old and on the way home needed to have dinner. If this restaurant was not a 4 hour commute we would be there often. 1st they do not have a "children's menu" but everyone was amazingly accommodating. They made recommendation (fabulous) and brought "ingredients" to make-shift ranch for the youngest (so, since they make everything from scratch and do not make ranch)...she loved mixing herself even though not what she expected. Our meal started with THE most amazing roasted red peppers I have ever eaten. They not only accommodated our "picky" children but everything was so delicious I almost cried. The fact that Cindy was on hand, wonderfully friendly, helpful, unpretentious, and it was only when I spoke with her as we were leaving found out she was the owner...all only enhanced the experience. This was the most joyous, unexpected, wonderful (on every level) dining experience we have ever had. Our navigation system found this stop for us...off the NYS Thruway and not being familiar expected a dinner atmosphere...it was not. This may be our favorite anniversary meal! I promise if we are ever in the area (driving through to or from anywhere) we will make reservations!!!
