The Teriyaki chicken rice bowl was the best meal that we had on the San Juan Islands. It was excellent!

My fav 50/50 Ba Cha salad ( 1/2 tofu 1/2 pork ) So good!

We were blown away by this place. It's a small hole in the wall spot tucked in a very touristy part of town, but they made some amazing noodle dishes! The bulgogi beef was tender and flavorful and the drunken noodle dish my wife had was spectacular. Great food that really surprised me! Check them out

I would not recommend going here because the food is very expensive for what you get. I ordered a teriyaki bowl which is $18 before tax and tip. It came with the wrong toppings (kimchi, onions, jalapeños), which took up half of the bowl and bled into the small portion of rice. The chicken tasted fine but there was not much in the bowl and it wasn’t very flavorful. This isn’t a dine-in restaurant, but there’s seating outside. The staff were neither friendly nor rude. It was hot and humid in the restaurant. The food was ready within about 10 minutes.

Freshly prepared, honest ingredients, no fakes, no sugar no creamy dressing. Crispy organic vegetables, local bread, local meats! A selection of real drinks - sugar free tea. Bottled coke. Aqua minerale. Free pitchers of water if you wish. Thoughtful recipes… Great style in a standup café with tables outside and stools inside. Hidden in a little street side maze of shops at the center of Eastsound. Really a delight to find people making real food and smiling. They also sell wine, and they’re right next to a wine shop for a broader selection. For dessert, there’s a super ice cream by the scoop 10 m away. Good luck. I Hope to return there.

Super cute place with very friendly staff, willing to accommodate for vegetarians and kids. Eclectic menu, but it works and the food is great. Tasty and high quality

This place has super friendly service! I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was very fresh! You could tell the bun was firm and the ingredients were good. My only issue with the sandwich is that the pickled lettuce/ slaw made the chicken soggier. It’s not your typical deep fried chicken sandwich but it was a great amount of food! It was about $23+ including tip. Wish it came with some chips or drink as a meal but a good first meal on orcas island

So good we came back again the next day to try more! Incredible teriyaki, drunken noodles, and thai salad. Some of, if not the, best food on Orcas!

Amazing food, the tofu banh mi was delicious and so satisfying. The best vegetarian options I had my whole trip. The other things we had were great as well, and I really enjoyed their red chili sauce (house made?)

We had the tofu Bahn mi and the Chicken teriyaki bowl. Both were very good. It was really hot inside but was worth it for high quality food. I also got the pink yuzu soda and loved it!

Tofu banh mi was great as well as the tofu teriyaki bowl!!! Super good place we will be back.

This is a cozy spot serving Asian fusion dishes. Their Thai Green Curry is unique—not your typical curry from a Thai restaurant.

I really wanted to like them! I originally wanted to have one of the sandwiches, but they were out of it. So, I had the green curry with tofu. But the green curry wasn’t the best. It tasted like a cross between Thai & Japanese curry. I love them both, but didn’t really enjoy this version. I am going to try the sandwiches next time! The place gets crowded in the afternoons! They said our dish will take 20-30 minutes, it came out in 10-15 minutes - so, that was good!

Fantastic rice bowls! This place does not disappoint! We shared a teriyaki chicken rice bowl for lunch and it was the perfect amount of food for two. The teriyaki sauce is to die for and the service was quick. There isn’t a ton of seating inside, but they make the most of the room they have.

I got the pork bahn mi and the misses got the yakisoba with chicken, both delicious 100% would recommend

Such good Asian fusion food, and so fresh! Pork banh mi was so delicious as was the Drunken Noodles. Small outdoor seating so we took it to go but still so yummy!

Awesome food, friendly staff, debatably the best lunch spot on Orcas! They even let us put up flyers for a show in their window. Great spot run by great locals!

Amazing food! We had the Ban Mi (Great), the Tacos (Awesome), the beat the meat sandwich (wonderful) and the fried rice (perfect)! The food was awesome and great atmosphere. The service is also excellent, they gave me a bahn mi that had the fish sauce, and when I asked if it had fish sauce on it, they immediately offered and remade it for me 😀

Incredible tofu and delicious drunken noodles. Was delighted to find Asian food on an island in the middle of nowhere. And not just that, extremely good Asian food. Bravo.

Tasty food. Decent vegetarian options. Good service. However the ramen we ordered could have been hotter, it was pretty cold for a ramen.

We found our favorite restaurant in orcas islands. We tried the yoza, veggie ramen, Katza ramen and the tacos. Everything excellent. We will be back!

Many vegetarian options. The kitchen stays open for longer compared to other places in the vicinity. Service was quick. The ramen was almost cold though. Cashew wontons were great!

Incredible rice bowls and sandwiches! Food is fresh, filling, and thoughtful. We had two entrees and thought about ordering seconds it was so delicious. Orcas Island is lucky to have such a gem!

Been going to West Side for a few months now. Always a great vibe. Came in today rushing around to get to work and wanted to get 5 burritos. The team there got me my whole order in under 15 minutes. And it was delicious. Can’t wait to continue to be a regular there.

I am not sure you get much more value at a place on Orcas Island. Given the modest price range for the portion size and quality, I was beyond impressed. The chicken teriyaki was cooked perfectly and the accompanying salad had the best dressing I’ve had in quite some time. A very select spot and packed at lunch, so getting there early is your best bet.

This is a small hole-in-the-wall venue but it is very charming! The staff here is always friendly, their food is to die-for!

The food is absolutely exploding with flavor, best Banh Mi I’ve ever had!! With such a small menu, they clearly excel in every item they offer. Everything tastes very fresh and the atmosphere is lovely as well. 10/10 recommend trying if you have the opportunity

The tofu rice bowl! This is what I always get, and I’m always soooo happy. It can be so hard to find delicious, thoughtfully prepared tofu, and Westside is absolutely doing it. With a side salad and rice, it’s the perfect lunch!

We listened to the reviews and had the fried chicken sandwich. 👍👍 It was delicious. A well balanced sandwich. The tanginess of the slaw and pickles balanced the richness of the crispy fried chicken thighs. We also had that sasparilla soda. Yummy! Recommended!

5 Stars to West End for a fabulous pork bahn mi and Spicy Thai steak salad and for outside pup friendly seating, well done, perfect lunch with very little wait time!

The Fried Chicken Sandwich is so good! Chicken was cooked perfectly. Slaw and pickles were fresh and tangy. The sesame bun side and texture were just right for the sandwich. Highly recommend.

The vegan options here are great! The fried tempeh sandwich had a nice vinaigrette and the Thai salad (ask to be made vegan) was fresh. The teriyaki tofu rice bowl was a bit salty but I liked the way the tofu was prepared.

ATTENTION! Do not order the fried chicken sandwich! It will make all the previously eaten and tasted fried chicken irrelevant and your memories about them will be erased! The rice bowl with chicken also tasted great, but the fried chicken sandwich is so amazing, it could probably make vegans question their life choices. Service was really quick around noon as well.

The food at West Side Kitchen is amazing! My boyfriend and I have gone there multiple times and just them them. If you're looking for a good fried chicken sandwich this is the place to be 100%. Andi, Micheal and Astasia have amazing personalities and are so patient and kind with everyone.

We stopped by for lunch today after not wanting to wait the day before as they were very busy on Monday as so many other places in town are closed. We both had the Spicy Thai salad with steak strips added. The greens were fresh and crisp, with strips of tender steak strips. The star of this salad is the spicy Thai dressing it is very spicy and flavorful not just hot, sadly lots of places make things hot but forget to include the flavor, thankfully these guys have not. In fact if the bottled it I would be taking several home with me. We found seats inside which allowed us to linger and chat with the staff and owner when things slowed down between groups.

Had some local friends give this as a recommendation and we loved everything. Freshly made, super flavors and when they say the Thai salad is hot believe it 😆. Still loved every bite. Also tried the banh mi and it was delicious and big flavors. Loved it all! Thanks again!!

We have the Thai salad with steak as an add-on. The steak was a very chewy, the greens were average, grocery store, greens, and the salad dressing was great, although very spicy - we put it on the side so we could test it before committing to it 😅 the rest of our group had bahnmi sandwiches and said those were much better than the salad, so maybe we would give a 4 star if we tried it and liked it?

This is my current favorite lunch spot! I order the Beef Bulgogi at least 3-4 times a week it's THAT good. The staff are amazing and accommodating and all the flavors are on point. A must try if you are on Orcas.

Love every item on the menu. It’s a great casual lunch spot with some outdoor seating, counter service, and take away. Glad to have this spot conveniently located in central Eastsound.
