The chocolate croissant and cinnamon rolls are amazing!! The cinnamon roll does have a sugar coating instead of a glaze and the dough is more croissant like but it’s a delicious take on cinnamon rolls. The baguette is sour dough which I didn’t realize but still really delicious. The olive flatbread wasn’t my favorite but worth a try. The brownie was chewy in texture but has clumps of some kind of oil (maybe coconut? Not sure) and wasn’t as chocolatey or as fudgey as I like my brownies. Lastly, the chocolate chip cookie is OMG. One of my new favorites and I will be back just for this!!!

We had the seasonal croissant which was an everything pastry with cream cheese and shishito peppers. It was the best pastry we tried all trip, and that’s saying a lot! The shishito acted almost like a pepper jam to the cream cheese. It was SO good.

Great assortment of baked goods and drinks. Everything is homemade! Loved it. Very reasonably priced.

Best bakery I’ve ever been to in US. Must get there early bc they do run out on the weekend. I usually take everything I buy with me to the park and it never makes it home.

Coming from France for few days of tourism, I can say without a doubt that’s the best place I’ve eaten for sure in Nola !!! Food is fresh, tasty and delicious! First time that I found iced chaï tea with oat milk! My day started so well !

Tried some delicious pastries & coffee from Levee Baking Co. recently! The best time to visit is within 1-2 hours of opening, as their pastries sell out fast.

The first time I visited, the case was empty. Sold out. So I came back and it was worth the visit. I purchased 4 different items so I could taste test. The London fog twist with pistachio and the potato/cheese croissant are amazing. The cinnamon roll wonderful.

I'm afraid we ordered wrong, but also wish these things weren't offered on the menu if they aren't going to be fresh. We went around 10:30 AM and ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches (one with bacon on a croissant, one egg and cheese on a biscuit) a guava cream cheese pastry, and a coffee glaze bun for a total of $36 with tip. Pricey but everything looked good in the store and this place came highly recommended so we were excited to try it nonetheless. The guava cream cheese pastry was by far the best, and makes me want to return to give this place another try. I wish the coffee glaze pastry was a bit more complex and had some spice in it (overall too sweet for me) but the texture of the bun was excellent. This is where things get rough. Both breakfast sandwiches were soggy and cold. The eggs weren't made fresh but reeeally thick and baked frittata style. < I'm familiar with this kind of egg on a breakfast sandwich but usually the baked eggs aren't so dense, are warmed to order, and are much less expensive than these were. They also forgot to put bacon on mine and the bacon was an expensive add on. My croissant was practically wet. Honestly it was nasty. It was obvious they were both made hours ago and weren't even heated up to order. Overall, I see the potential this place has; I had a hard time choosing what to pick and am hopeful that other pastries would have been tastier. But overall, the quality and freshness of our food left much to be desired for the price point.

Always delicious. Had the focaccia and the French king cake they make with pecan and candied citrus. Everything I've ever tried has been excellent. Preorder if you want a king cake or any cake.

We found the atmosphere to be nice, but we did not care much for the pastries. The crousants were doughy, not crisp like they should be. They were out of some things. They had a good flow of customers, so they are popular with others. They are a bit pricey for the size of the pastries you get. They are also only open Thursday through Sunday, which we found odd for a business.

I got the chocolate babka...I think that's what it's called. It was great. What I like about this spot compared to the other bakeries I visited on this was the unique flavour combination. A lot I've not seen, a few came with dill and it was worth the bike ride from downtown.

Wow, some of the best pastries I've had in long time. You would be amiss not to check out Levee Baking Co. That lemon curd cruffin haunts me.

Pastries excellent- service not so much.

Perhaps the top reason we went to visit New Orleans, this bakery is fantastic! The blueberry morning bun and coffee twist was a highlight for us on the sweet side, but the pastry itself was awesome. What really blew us away were the savory options. Still dreaming about that shishito and tomato&feta. Every city needs a bakery on par with Levee!

We so wish that we could have our own Levee Baking Co. back home! We follow their Instagram religiously... their pastries are fantastic, fresh, and stunning in presentation. We found this place on our last morning in NOLA, and we wish we went there from day one! I'm still dreaming about their raspberry cruffin... my wife ate half of it! We can't wait to come back.

Got here right before they closed and had the best pastry I’ve had all trip. I’m a pastry and baking enthusiast so I’ve been sampling all the spots. I highly recommend this one, plus the neighborhood is beautiful and worth the trolley trip.

Everything is so, so good?! So fresh, and the sweets have the perfect amount of sweetness- never too sweet!! Just baked to perfection, my God, I look forward to it at the end of every week

We're a nontraditional couple so when we thought about the dessert we wanted for our wedding it ended up being nontraditional as well. We wanted to support a local bakery and Levee Baking Co. felt like the perfect fit. So we ordered a lemon cake, rye brownies, and coffee-glazed twists for our reception desserts and were not disappointed! All the desserts were absolutely spectacular and fairly priced, but the lemon cake was a major hit with all of our guests.

I've always loved this place. However, I'm disappointed that they seemed to change the carrot cake recipie. No more black sesame seeds. The old carrots cake was hands down the best I ever had and i would come in specifically for it. New one is good, but I wouldn't get it again. Fantastic quality of pastries, breads, and other baked goods. My favs are the incredible savory biscuits, the seasonal croissants, galettes, cinnamon rolls, morning buns, and decadent chocolate cake. Also offer seasonal flavors. Great variety. Great spot for breakfast sandwiches and croissants. Typically also has vegan cookies available.

The service was great. The cashier was very nice and helpful. The pastries and bread were good and got us through the 10 miles of walking we did in New Orleans. I felt the bread and sandwiches were a bit salty,but this place is worth trying if you're in New Orleans area

Went looking for almond croissants, and Levee had the goods. Baked to perfection and right in front of you, this place has a clean, sleek vibe. Our pastries and mint tea were the perfect snack during a hot September stroll down Magazine St.

Do you looove croissants? Do you adore bread? JUST GO! Pastry obsessed French immigrant here -> THIS IS THE BEST PASTRIES IN TOWN!! This is what a croissant and good bread is suppose to taste like. This bakery is in my top 5, favorite France located bakeries included. And it’s a local small business and woman owned on top of that. The space is bright and beautiful and literally everything I tried there was excellent, crispy, fluffy, with soft centers and dreamy. “La Boulangerie” is cancelled. Just go try and you’ll see. Love, The annoying French who missed good bread and pastries until now.

My favorite bread and pastries in town. Makes me miss European bakeries a bit less. Everything is fresh, never overwhelmingly sweet (as so many American pastries tend to be), great crust. This place is such a great asset to the neighborhood.
