Every time we visit our family in Nashua we order here or dine in- we ordered online and picked up this time THEY DONT SERVE RICE WITH THE $27 ENTREE 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 $86 bill for 2 entrees, 2 appetizers and NO RICE??????

A little pricey, but the quality is worth paying for. Been a customer for a decade and have never once left unsatisfied.

Lots of parking, wide choices of standard Chinese items in their lunch menu, quiet. I use it for a "Friday Lunch" I do with a bunch of other retired ex-coworkers and it's great for that. But I don't go there otherwise as the food isn't more interesting.

Wanted to enjoy it as photos and reviews were good. Ive been all over and am pretty simple to please with chinese food. For 100.00 i threw half away. Was really let down and confused how people pay for mediocre food? Ive jad 5 star chinese from hole in the wall spots that would put this to shame.

Would not recommend and will not be returning. While the food here is okay, it is very expensive. You pay over $20 for an average sized dish, and it does not come with rice! You must pay an additional $5 to eat Chinese food as intended! This is not clear when you initially order, causing my family to need to return to the restaurant - very inconvenient. Then, the rice was an overcooked soggy blob. Really? This is such a basic element for this cuisine.

Our waitress Jessica was excellent. I absolutely love the Amazing Chicken. The first time I ordered this, it was too spicy for my taste. Jessica said, next time ask for less spicy. We went back this weekend and I got the Amazing Chicken less spicy. It is now one of my favorite meals. I will say the Egg Drop soup tased like it had no salt. Too bland for me.

Went with my family and food was amazing. Service was great and quite pleasant. And when we entered, we got seated and they we were eating in a matter of about 5 to ten minutes give or take. (Wasn't counting just off the clock in my head, not very accurate.) Food was super good I recommend the shrimp lo mein and chicken lo mein. If you like Pepsi they don't have it but 2/3rds coke 1/3 sprite gets close to Pepsi if you want. In it all. It was great and a good place if you want Chinese food. They had a money tree at the entrance which was cool in my opinion

We have been getting takeout from Lilac for 10 years and I think we are all done. We ordered $80 worth of food and got no white rice. The website does not say there is none or provide a way to order it online. Just completely absurd to not provide white rice for entrees.

Server was prompt, kind, and thorough. Food was tasty but unfortunately was cold when it should've been hot. From the soup to the entrees. My dining companion ended up not being able to eat anything.

We used to really like Lilac Blossom, but their standards have gone way down. The food is pretty mediocre now, and so is the service. We had 4pm reservations, and we were the only customers who had a table. It took 15 minutes for a waiter to come over and take our drink order. We asked for water and a pot of tea. We were told that they don’t have tea pots. Huh? They did the last time I was there. The atmosphere was non-existent. They had some radio station playing with a lot of commercials on speakers that were rattling and distorted. It was way too loud, and the music selection was pretty terrible. I would have preferred elevator music. It’s rather sad to see this restaurant sink so low. This will unfortunately be the last meal I have there.

Good food, but the restaurant is beginning to look old and run down. Front doors are falling apart, bathrooms need renovation, carpets worn and dirty, bar and foyer area are outdated. **Update 2/2024** Was $60 for an entree, 2 appetizers and fried rice. They've gone way up in price since I last ordered take out 6 months ago. Chinese used to be cheap, nothing is anymore.

Ordered a vegetable chow main to go it was mushy soggy n disgusting, very disappointed usually better.

Imagine my surprise last weekend when, upon opening my takeout bag and finding no trace of rice, I called up the front desk to be told that as of a few weeks ago white rice now costs extra and that the main dishes come with no rice. After 5 years of exorbitant price increase and a steady decline in quality, this blatant cash grab is the final straw for me. This is akin to a fast food restaurant charging you extra for the bun on a hamburger. I will never be frequenting this sad excuse for a chinese restaurant again and the miserliness of the owner will be made known far and wide.

A little disappointed. Was a three star until I called about the Rice and dropped the review to a two. Ordered Triple Delight, Shrimp Lo Mein Pork Fried Rice Triple Delight did not have Pork. Consisted of a lot of Chicken and three Shrimp. Website does not say with or without white rice (it does not). So I called and was told this is a recent change but again the website did not show this. All House Specials do not come with White Rice. Dollar extra and you can't order this (no way to select) and pay with everything else. Sezchuan Dumpling was a Sezchuan Disappointment. Found a nice bone and stopped eating them. If you decide to order this get the Sauce and Peanut Butter separate and on the side. My son liked the Shrimp Lo Mein. He also said the Pork Fried Rice is good. At this time there is no idea from the website what size the Fried Rice is for the price. It's a Quart.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken to go on their website. WHen I got back to my hotel, there was no rice. I called and they said 'oh you have to order that extra'. I saw no mention of this when ordering.

Chinese food, really good Chinese food. The restaurant looks nice. Staff is quick. It can be slightly expensive if you do not get a luncheon special (soup, rice, entree; available 11:30-3 Mon-Sat) I eat at both locations frequently, both dine in and take out.

The Lilac Blossom at Sky Meadow is OK. We stopped in for takeout. The hostess was very pleasant and took our order efficiently and provided helpful suggestions. Since we arrived at their opening time, there were no diners in the restaurant yet. It ended up that we were one of a few people coming in to pickup takeout orders. The food was OK but not outstanding and it was a little on the expensive side. We will not be coming back here again. Panda Express is better and less expensive.

All staff were very welcoming to this slightly upscale Chinese restaurant. Our dinners were as expected and arrived rather quickly despite the warning that the Peking duck takes a bit longer to cook. Our server Jessica was the best! She was beyond helpful with useful recommendations and her upbeat personality was so refreshing. Recommended… and ask for Jessica!

We dined here on Sept 3, 2023 at 7pm. The newer building was in good condition. Attention to detail in the bathroom especially the floor. About 4 out of 5 light bulbs over the sinks were burned out. The menu has a variety of choices. I had the beef broccoli and my wife had the house Lo Mein. Portions were plentiful. Both dishes tasted good. What I did not like was the cold reception when we walked in. The server was not attentive until at the time for the bill. Considering the cost of dining out, I expect good service and friendly people. This restaurant was suggested by the high end hotel we stayed at.

Mostly tried their vegetarian options and all food is decent. Crispy tofu was good but just 4-6 pieces of tofu so hard to share. Seems to be severely short staffed. The bar tender was also acting as main waiter while the bar was full of people. We waited long time for the cheque to arrive after finishing eating!

Wonderful dining experience. Attentive wait staff. Food was above par, enjoyable, and delicious. Definitely on the frequent establishments list.

We were definitely surprised at the rise in prices for lunch meals in comparison to online prices, must have been a very old price listing. Prices should be removed from online when out of date. The menu was not any different from 2011 but prices have almost double per item. 5 Lunch meals which were much smaller except for the amount of rice from the past. It was take out, too. Bill was just shy of $100. Very 😞!

THE best place to get Chineese in Nashua. Edit 2022: covid has done a number on this place. Still the best place to get Chineese in Nashua but it's not the same as it was. Prices have gone up while quality has, at best, remained the same but more likely has gone down.

Had lunch with the girls today at Lilac Blossom on E. Dunstable Rd. in Nashua today. We had Tangerine Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, Chicken fingers, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and fried rice. Everything was so delicious. Rangoons were incredibly stuffed. Tangerine Chicken is unusual and very tasty. Higher class dining area than most Chinese restaurants. Exceptional wait staff. Great place for a date night.

What a great dining experience! Great food and exceptional service in a very clean, bright and well maintained restaurant! We now go there often.

1st Time love our server JESSICA she went well and above to make 1st time experience enjoyable, she explained the menu to us because we had alot of questions. The food was just Great ,seating beautiful interior clean.

Took our parents to this Lilac Blossom for dinner. We had always gone to the Amherst Street location but they now live closer to this site. We were not disappointed as the service was great, the food was awesome and we had leftovers. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

The experience was very good! The food is fantastic, I love the Hunan chicken in particular. None of the spicy options are overpoweringly hot, which I personally appreciate. The service was alright, not especially nice, but everyone was polite and the food came quickly. The atmosphere is great, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Definitely recommend for a sit-down restaurant with Chinese cuisine.

Easily our favorite local Chinese food restaurant! Crab Rangoon is the best around. Lots of healthier options too. The staff is attentive and speedy. The environment is spacious and beautiful. Speciality cocktails are a must try!

Very nice place. The food is excellent. I had the tangerine chicken which was super yummy. My date had Neptune's Blessing which is seafood and she enjoyed her meal too. Now I'm not a seafood person (except fish I'm ok with) and she let me try a piece of scallop as every time I've had them they are rubbery and not good. Well the chef here nailed them as they were so much better than what I've typically had. Still not my thing but I would eat them from here over anywhere else I've had them. Also, very good drinks The price is reasonable and it's really nice inside. The only negative was out server. Overall he seemed fine but when my date asked for some Splenda for thr tea he kept forgetting and he seemed somewhat distracted. But overall the experience was really good and I'd recommend the restaurant for a good Oriental meal.

The food was fantastic. At dinner time, they give you an abundance. The service was timely, professional, kind, and appropriate. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's fancier than most American Chinese restaurants. What truly separates this from other food services is the cleanliness. I would eat of the bathroom counter this place is so clean.

I've only gotten take out so far and it's all been excellent. The dining room looks nice too. Bring cash for tips because if you tip on a card, for some strange reason the staff doesn't see that money.

Sadly Lilac Blossom was not as good as I recall. In years past, we felt this was the best option for Chinese food in the greater Nashua area, but it has declined significantly. I have not been here since at least the start of the pandemic. I visited today for lunch with a group of coworkers, we were a total of six and the hostess was pleasant and seated us promptly. I recognized the waiter who has been here for years. No issues with service, it was prompt, fast and efficient. Lilac Blossom offers a lunch special menu, and the options include a main course, choice of soup and choice of rice. There are no prices on the website, and we were a bit surprised to find on average the prices were about $15-$17 a plate. I ordered tangerine beef, which I believe was $18. One of my coworkers laughed and said "aren't lunch specials supposed to be about 10 bucks?". While the wonton soup was as delicious as I recall, my lunch plate was awful. I received two decent size fried pieces of steak which were tough and had lots of grizzle. Usually Chinese food is served in bite size pieces so chopsticks can be used (none were offered). Frankly this dish needed a steak knife, as the butter knife provided could barely cut this tough cut of meat. Another coworker ordered the same dish, and we just laughed it off. Our waiter asked if I wanted to take my food home, but what would be the point? Others at the table gave their dishes an OK. The vegetable fried rice was pretty tasteless. I also asked for Chinese tea to drink, and it was served in large mugs. No pot on the table. Refills provided from a standard coffee pot. While the tea was fine, it just felt all wrong to me. Not really sure I would come back here, which is unfortunate. I have many memories of great meals and special celebrations at this restaurant. It might be time for a reboot. This place is overpriced for mediocre food. We had sesame chicken and sweet and sour shrimp. Our waiter was not really very …nice. He Didn’t crack a half a smile till he brought the check, or ask if we wanted anything throughout dinner. Surprisingly, the drinks are strong though. I say order take out somewhere else have a drink and split an app at the bar if you want to check this place out.

We've ordered from here a few times. The food is always delicious and of high quality. There is always enough food for leftovers the next day.

My vegetarian friend and I had lunch there and ordered the general tso tofu. The dish came out in big chunks of tofu with 2 red pepper slices, a few other veggies. Neither of us liked the consistency of the tofu because the inside was like eating warm pudding. We are used to it being a bit more firm. We called the server over and explained that we didn’t like the way it was cooked. The waiter told us next time tell me that you want it cooked firmer and walked away. We ate the veggies and the other dish we ordered and left a plate of undercooked tofu. Then he asked if we wanted to take it home lol. So we payed over $14 for a few veggies. That was my last visits to Lilac blossom. My family and I have been loyal customers since their opening. First time ever I left a 10% tip. Such poor customer service.

They have very good food. Their prices are very high for the portion size though. 11.95 for a small serving of boneless spare ribs is just one example. As much as we enjoy it, I do not think we will order here on a regular basis. It will have to be a special occasion. Well we went back for a special occasion. It was just as expensive and way less impressive. The crab Rangoon wasn't good. The cream cheese tasted grainy. The boneless spareribs tasted off and looked like minced pork?and ...they had a funky flavor. The chicken fingers were skinny and kind of hard. The veggies in the fried rice were hard. The beef lomein was just ok. The beef teriyaki was the only good thing, my dog loved it. We won't be back.

They failed to return call back after complaining about the very small lunch portion given. Paid $16 for each meal it being over $50 expecting it to be able to feed our family of 3. Extremely dissatisfied. Called the manager some guy (he didn’t even give his name), was very short and and said we’ll it is expensive and there is nothing he would do to help us. VERY RUDE!!! We won’t be back!

I've had food from this place a few times because my bf's fam comes to this restaurant. I like your food overall, but I think I have had slightly better for better price.

One of our favorites in the area. Everything is spot- on, fresh, delicious. The bone-in spareribs were particularly meaty and great even as leftovers. But our all time favorite appetizer, that we come here specifically for is the Szechuan Dumpling in spicy sesame and peanut sauce, fantastic.

Love this place, but they took their vegetable dumplings off the menu, which I will greatly miss. Those things were great. It is also the only chinese place the rest of my family will eat at because they love it so much.

I never post reviews but it is extremely disappointing that I just returned home after picking up an order and when I opened the bag, realized that they had gotten half the order wrong. Of the 6 things I received (and I only ordered 5), 3 of them were wrong in some way, as in either I didn’t order it at all, or it was missing the main ingredient. I had driven 30 minutes away to get this, so I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake and ask for some kind of compensation. They said they couldn’t do anything unless I drove back… I had obviously ended up paying for dishes I didn’t order, and I was not about to pay more in gas and an hour of my time there and back. When I asked the woman on the phone if I was supposed to have opened the bag in front of them to check everything, she responded “it is your phone number associated with the order right?” What kind of response is that, as in what does that even mean? Is she saying that because I was associated with the order, that somehow them getting the order wrong was my fault? I then informed her that I am very surprised by their lack of flexibility when the fault was theirs and she said “okay” quite matter of factly. Then after another moment of stunned silence, I said that I can’t believe they weren’t going to do ANYTHING and that I hope she understands this means there will be a bad review, to which she responded “that’s fine.” If you are reading this, please just check your order before you leave because they will not take responsibility for their mistakes. It is just sad that we could have avoided this review if only they offered ANY small credit or maybe even just a more apologetic tone on the phone. The sad thing is, I actually like their food so may be tempted to order from them again in the future, but will have to be very careful.

Food is great but prices are now unacceptably high. The prices are not on the website and do not match the menu I have. I canceled the last order I placed when they told me the price. I have gone here since they opened but will not be back.

My wife and I had lunch at Lilac Blossom, our first visit. It's a white table cloth restaurant, and the attentive but not intrusive waiter wore a pleated formal shirt with bow tie and cummerbund. It has a listed dress code of "No hats, No slippers", but it wasn't enforced on the young man who wore a baseball cap backwards, no doubt so he could express his individualism. They won't be enforcing the rules, but it shows their vision of presenting refinement. It all gives the dining room a slightly upscale feel, a nice atmosphere, refreshing, not stuffy. A gratis appetizer of fried chips (need a better word) with duck sauce was set on the table at the time we ordered. The food was good. We'll be back.

Terrible. Just looking for a quick snack, so I went online and checked out the website. Noticed that they had beef teriyaki appetizers for $8.95 and thought I’d try it. When I went to pick it up they charged me $17 and said they don’t go off the website anymore. The meat was chewy and the portions were tiny. I think I spent about 20 bucks an ounce for this less than mediocre snack. They should be ashamed of themselves, I will never come back to this place and I would recommend anybody that reads this to avoid this place. What a rip off!

Rude rude rude!! Waiter was extremely rude during the entire duration of our visit. When we then tipped him appropriately he demanded a better tip and told us what we gave him was not enough! When we complained to the manager about the same , the manager said he would do nothing about it and it wouldn’t matter to him if we never came back again !! We have been going here for many years and this experience has really soured it for us! Never stepping in here again!!!

Rudest waiter experience ever. Will not be visiting or recommending this place. It is understandable that folks are hurting and there is shortage of restaurant staff but what we experienced defeats the purpose of going to a restaurant. The waiter was super rude throughout the service and we felt that we were getting yelled at on asking questions. He topped it off by demanding a higher tip. When we raised the rudeness concern with the manager he dismissed us. The issue of bad behavior got turned into as if we were not wanting to tip.
