They were really busy, but it's still a good place to go for an ice-cream treat.

I used to stop here as a kid on our way home from camp. It still is great ice cream and fries!

Good soft serve ice cream for a place out by itself. But they need a nice sign by the road so you know it's there. Not sure why they don't have one. But watch for it near the West branch of the Susquehanna near Hyner.

Good food and great service. Sat outside because my friends had their dog with them.

My wife and I love their cheese steaks with everything on them. The great soft ice cream is a bonus. Their fries are also very good.

The Lions den is a nice little ice cream shop nestled in the mountains in Hyner pa .... It's a great place to stop and grab a sandwich and some ice cream or bring the kids... everyone is very nice and the food is great it's a nice family friendly atmosphere ...whenever I am passing through l always stop and get some ice cream and a sandwich and you should too you won't be sorry .

Small family business. Nostalgic. Realaxed. Been a seasonal staple for just about everyone in the area for YEARS. Nice little, "must stop," pit-stop on your way through the area. Great homemade food, soft serve ice-cream, sundes, & shakes. Outdoor seating where you can watch the hang gliders glidin' down from hyner lookout. They just touched up their animal themed paint job & looks great. Might catch the deer passin' through or the occasional bear. A lot has changed in the area, but they've stuck through it and remain a living piece of local history. Check them out!

Love bringing the kids here every time we are up this way!! Tons of good food! Everything we've ever gotten here was awesome! I love the pork bbq sandwich and my kids love the chicken tenders kids meal. Comes with chicken tenders, fries, and juice for only $4. Great food and prices!!

Delish food. We have been traveling with still 2 hours to go.....we were starving. Found this little place and gave it a try. My food critic 9 year old gave it rave reviews and we loved it to. If you are in the area give it a try!!!

It's out in the middle of nowhere but it's great food and awesome shakes. Pretty fast service and has a nice personable feel to it.

Great place to get all flavors of ice cream, and they also serve sandwiches. Great service and a large outdoor area for kids to run and play. Prices are competitive and located right off Route 120.
