The prices went up to high ice cone is three dollars I can buy ice cream a pint for five or seven dollars sometimes don't have tomatoes stuff to put on the hamburger sometimes hot sometimes cold it's who's cooking

What ever you do never get the roast beef poboy period! I spent 12+ on this sandwich. It was made in maybe 5 minutes. That was my red flag. No roast beef poboy can be made in that time. It tasted like plastic definitely not real roast beef. Not saying that other things are bad. Just NEVER get the roast beef EVER!!

I must say the customer service is amazing the lady at the counter is so sweet! So I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and because I just had my teeth pulled I couldn’t eat the chicken unfortunately so I went to go order something else without thinking about asking for a refund or anything and she asked what was wrong I told her i had my money out ready to buy some nuggets and she said that she would give me a refund and I said no thankyou and she offered to replace the food so I agreed but only if she didn’t mind and she said not at all! So she said something about giving me the meal again and I said I had gotten my fry’s already and she said she would give me another order for free!! I couldn’t help but to think oh my goodness best customer service I’ve had in a very long time. Very wonderful business and the food is always delicious!! She’s running a proper drive up restaurant. The prices are affordable not high like everywhere else nowadays. Thankyou for wonderful service and she’s always with a smile!

Cheeseburgers were great. French fries were terrible. Over cooked and hard. Lady that took my order was very friendly.

I decided to give it another try ... I wanted some chicken livers so badly. No one in my area sold them. I drove all the way to Independence, La to get some from Lisa's..I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED . My livers were cooked to perfection. The front cashier was so nice and helpful. I will be going back again soon.

My husband ordered a large gizzards box and a large okra. Ok the gizzards was Skase meaning I could count how many was in the box. Maybe 15 in the box , two breads. I’m waiting to talk to the owner ASAP.

They have just about everything here and the food is delicious. Try their banana shake made with real bananas it's awesome. Along with the great food the staff is very friendly. Good place to go with your family.

I had a small cheeseburger dressed and it was very good, meat seasoned very well. Staff was very friendly too. And prices are reasonable. Whenever we're back over this way we will stop again

This place is an historical land mark in Independence. It's changed names a couple of times, but the food remains the same. Delicious. I don't know how, but it does. Every thing on their menu is delicious, and I've tried just about everything they have. You gotta get over there and get you something. Hurry, they are always busy during lunch.

This Drive In serves the best burgers that are homemade with real ground beef like burgers you would prepare at home. Their menu consists of a wide varisty of foods that include burgers, seafood, sandwiches and po-boys, plain Fries, seasoned fries, corn nuggets, onion rings, roast beef o. Bun ir po-boy, crab patty, and a wide variety of flavors i. Drinks, shakes, malts, Sundaes, and ice creamy cones and cups. The staff are friendly. Their prices are reasonable. This is a take out order where all orders are packed to go. A picnic table is found under a covered patio. To go orders may be placed by phone or at the window. This buhsiness has quite a long history in serving area locaLs. A great place for kids to enjoy a snack of meal anytime thry are open. At Lisa's there is something on tge menu for everyone to enjoy. This business really loves to meet new customers and the staff are quite welcoming.

Every time I've eaten here (at outdoor table or in my vehicle) it's been excellent, whether a cheeseburger combo, or just fries and a chocolate shake ! It's one of life's little gifts you're rewarded . . . but you've got to stop. Wake up and smell the Bacon [ Cheeseburger, that is ] !! Great food and Friendly service :)

Not fancy, just and old fashioned malt stand. No indoor seating but good food and the best walnut malts (loaded with walnuts) . Worth getting off the interstate for.

Lisa's is my family's favorite drive-in. I. ordered a chicken strip dinner with fries, a salad, and a drink. The chicken strips were very crispy, just the way I prefer my chicken to be fried. Furthermore, the strips were well-seasoned; too much for my personal taste, but my husband liked them. The fries were regular fries, my husband ate those too and the very small salad consisted of lettuce and tomatoes; definitely not what I anticipated. The drink I received was filled with a sufficient amount of ice and had a strong taste. Above all else, the worker who took our order waited patiently while we decided what to order. She was also very sociable. Would I recommend Lisa's? Most definitely; the hamburgers are delicious, made from real ground beef, and are not greasy. Lisa's fried fish is a must-try too.

I've lived in Independence my whole life. And I never really never ate at Lisa's. But I recently started and I loved their food. The cashiers are so sweet and the prices are reasonable too. I love their mozzarella sticks and I can't find them like that any where else.

If you want a Great HB stop by Lisa's! Meat was Seasoned, Thick & Cooked Well Done! These other Burger joints don't have a Thing on Lisa's!!!! We will definitely go back to get a Good Burger.

I love their fried pickles. And I love how they do their ice cream. It is not hard or it is not to soft it is PERFECT!!!
