Tasty subs and freaking awesome cupcakes

Our cab driver recommended this place and he was right on. The subs were incredible. They definitely hit the spot after the wife and daughter drug me shopping through Key West. The subs made it all better!

One of the best sandwiches ever!

Our absolute favorite sub, sandwich, and gourmet cupcake place in Key West.. Hands down!! This local spot is a must visit and prepare your HUNGER because these massive subs are sure to fill you up! ALSO MUST save room for a mouth watering cupcake afterwards! As you can see from the pictures we visit this spot as our first, last, and in between our many trips to KW. We order and take these on our boat and beach trips and even fly them home to our kids per their request. We have tried every single sub in this place and a hard time deciding on a Favorite. I personally am a pastrami snob and have to order that sandwich at least once and my husband is obsessed with the Balboa their signature sub! You really cannot go wrong. The owners are two of the most hard working individuals and make sure your stomach is satisfied as well as your sweet tooth. They strive for perfection when it comes to an amazing lunch spot and never disappoint. If you have one day in KW on a cruise stop or spending some quality time checking out the island on vacation or boat outing DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP HERE!!!!

Do yourself a favor and get a balboa. It’s enough for 2 if you’re not starving or a big eater.

My friend and I went to Little Whitehouse Subs on Sunday 3/10/24 at 2:30pm. We were disappointed because the sign said they close at 3pm. We decided to come back again the following day to try these sandwiches that we heard were the BEST in Key West. We got there right at noon. We asked about their posted hours and why they were closed early the day before. The owner told us that there was a family emergency. Totally understandable. Boy, were we glad we gave them a second chance because these sandwiches definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered the Balboa and my friend ordered the Indian. The Balboa (love the name) is an Italian sub, but on massive amounts of steroids...this thing is HUGE!! I'm a big dude and was only able to eat half of it. I had it wrapped and took the rest with me. My friend ordered the Indian (think Thanxgiving). It was a hot sub that had everything you'd get at your grandmother's house on Thanxgiving...except greenbean casserole and pecan pie. He said it was Amazing. Well, before we left we ordered to-go orders so we could try what each other had. I ordered an Indian for myself & my friend ordered a Balboa, just to see if we were each correct in our assessments. We Absolutely were! The rest of the menu looked nothing short of Spectacular. There were SO many options for us carnivores and also quite a few vegetarian options as well, which my girlfriend will love. If you ever find yourself in Key West around lunch time and want to try some of the Best subs you'll ever have in your life B-line it straight to Little Whitehouse Subs, just call before you go to make sure they're open. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the 'SPECIAL DAILY CUPCAKE' for those with a bit of a sweet tooth, like me. They have a special homemade cupcake every day. We were there when it happened to be a Banana's Foster cupcake. This was the Best cupcake I've ever had! I looked back at some of there past cupcakes and it looks like you could come here every day for a year and not have the same cupcake, ABSOLUTELY WILD!

I’m a local and i went here for a friend who wanted me to pick up one of their cotton candy cupcakes. It was so amazing. I had to go back again today. I ordered the Karen with London broil green peppers, onions and a little bit of olives. Mayo no cheese. Of course I ate the cupcake first ; )

On vacation this week and had a craving for a great deli place for lunch. Well I found it. This deli is the real deal. Had the Fat Katz. If you like pastrami you will love this sangwich. Absolutely delicious 😋. And the owner is so nice. I forgot to take a picture of my sandwich. I ate it to quick 😂

Huge selection, & if you can't choose from that "Karen", they even have something just for you. Great food at am affordable price. Highly recommend!

So delicious, great portion size to keep ya full for day drinking, and friendly service. My bf and I have been coming here for the past 3-4 years when we are on vacation for 4 days or so and don’t go a day without a sub from here! They have a great menu of their own subs but you can be a Karen and make your own haha. Boars head is the best deli meat and they use it for their subs! They wrap the other half for you to take home if you don’t finish and give you a deli bag to keep it safe. Must try and prepare to crave one every day :)

One of THE BEST subs I've ever had! It had turkey, stuffingz potatoes, cranberry sauce, and cranberry aoli They had so many delicious subs to choose from. They will be a must have anytime I visit Key West!

Visiting from Tampa and the food and service were both 5 star! We had the Islander and it was DELICIOUS! The owner was super nice and even gave our 3 year old a popsicle. We would definitely eat here again next time we are in the Keys. Highly recommend!

The place is great-location, atmosphere and staff! That is just a bonus because the food is fabulous! The sandwiches are delicious-combination of flavors with all that we ordered. You can definitely get 2 meals with one sandwich. The cupcakes are creative and delicious-I would give them above 5 stars. I cannot wait to order, again.

So we went to little whithouse subs last year and we’re blown away by the food and the service . Our whole group went multiple days and we talked about it as our trip approached this year . With more people joining our group and people in the pool the sub shop was the talk. Of the pool. Try the Bolboa lol . My wife and I went over and the owner remembered us and was as great an experience as we remembered. We all went there multiple days and will be back again next year . Thanks guys for great food and even bette great customer service !!!!!! 10 stars

The mushroom sub literally was the highlight of our week in Key West. After a week of overpriced, over-hyped restaurants, the last day we were leaving the museum at the Custom House and spotted it from the steps. Thank you for such great food and service (and for sharing that you've had family in town for a month, because family can be stressful:)
