I live in the keys and I’m telling you there is no other place better than this one for breakfast or lunch! Everything homemade, coffee is good, staff is amazing💖 I’m very peaky with my juice and they make it fresh squeezed in the moment, that’s something else and the pastries omg🥐🌈.

We called and asked if there was seating for my family and was told there was. We arrived 5 minutes later and were told we would have to wait to be served? There was no table available but yet we were told we would have a seat for the family via call. Very poor communication and a waste of time, was told the food was great but staff is just piss poor!!

The food is ALWAYS good at Sunny Eggs. The pastries are the freshest in Key West & the breakfast portions are really generous. Lovely staff & always accommodating for special requests if they’re not super busy (which is most of the time :). Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Walk in the door. Take a whiff. You’re now hooked. We had the best brunch/breakfast ever. And it was not overpriced. I think it’s underpriced. Fun, small, friendly and the food is light years ahead of delish. Hollandaise was perfect. Fresh pesto on the avocado. Sourdough toast. This will be our go to place whenever we get to Key West

We were on a summer break only for 2 days and 1 night in Key West. I wanted to try something authentic and local cuisine. We found this place and with the menu and ratings it was hard to pass on it for breakfast. We came early in the morning. At first the place seemed small to me but when we went inside, it has the small but cool feel to it. The bakery items on counter looked so tempting, but we stopped ourselves from getting those and focused on breakfast items. Wifey got lobster kokot, it was nice and different to have seafood in breakfast. I got Shakshuka kokot, it was on OK side. Daugher got Mushroom Kokot, it was good, best among all 3 kokots. My son got chicken sandwich which was really good. We also got cappuccino which was good as well. Overall the experience was good, so if we come back to Key West we might come back here again. Pros: Unique and Food Taste Good Portion Size Good Ambiance. Friendly Staff. Cons: Small sitting space Not suitable for big families. Food Ratings: Mushroom Kokot: 8.5 / 10 Lobster Kokot: 7 / 10 Shakshuka Kokot: 6.5 / 10 Chicken Sandwitch: 7.5 / 10 Cappuccino: 6 / 10 Star Ratings: Flavor: 7 / 10 - Star Authenticity of Flavor: 7 / 10 - Star Cleanliness: 7.5 / 10 - Star Service: 7 / 10 - Star Value for Money: 6.5 / 10 - Star Suggestion for owner: You have a good setup going on, keep it up. Had the opportunity to eat breakfast this morning. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. One comment to make is you need a bigger space. With food this good you should have a place with ample seating. 2 tables and everyone else eating on a shelf wall to wall seems off. Great good deserves a space big enough to have table seating. All that said highly recommend!

There is so much to love about Sunny Eggs! During my stay I visited it 2 times! Too good to just have it once! The avocado toast was amazing - so flavorful with the scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, avocado & pesto! Coffee was on point - yum! They made all natural smoothies which I enjoyed too. Incredibly friendly service by all staff which I appreciated and was partly why I went back 2x! The owner and his team were warm & friendly. The presentation on all dishes makes you want to dig in. I would highly recommend Sunny Eggs for a delicious bite :)

Fantastic discovery in Key West less than a block off Duval Street. Hardworking young team produces delicious dishes out of the ordinary for breakfast, brunch and lunch. And the house-made French pastries were irresistible. We will visit every time we’re in KW.

A hidden Gem in Key West!! For starters, the coffee was excellent. For breakfast we had The Palm - the roasted tomato was a great surprise in the flavor profile. Do not skip the homemade jam! Took some great pastries back to the room for later! Put this little treasure on your Key West visit!

I finally tried this place, it didn’t disappoint. Very small with a NYC kind of vibe, but very cozy, food was great, loved their chai latte. Menu has pretty interesting options.

A small European style cafe with delicious food, in house pastries, and family run. I had the salmon kokot “cocotte” (delicious), a beet juice, and split a chocolatine style pastry. My fiance had the club sandwich which he recommends. Probably the best food we had in key west this visit (and we had some great food!) I 100% recommend this cafe and if you sleep on it, you are missing out. It’s on par with those in Europe.

Was really to excited try this place. Very cute! Place was a cluster from a service perspective when we first walked in. Spoke to 2 different people after waiting outside 10 mins. Second person said there were ppl in front of us and made us wait longer when we were clearly the only 2. Very tight space. Order the lobster kokat. The description sounded insanely good, so my hubby and I both ordered it. Waitress didn’t warn not to touch the pot and my husband burned his hand. On top of that, it was a fairly underwhelming meal - lacked much seasoning or flavor. Smoothie was good as were the cappuccinos.

My wife and I went for coffee and breakfast. I ordered the Benedict Kokot, with sausage, I went to bite into it and the center was cold runny eggs, RAW, and the sausage was cold?? , that wasn’t the worst part the staff was absolutely rude about it?? , arguing that it was cooked properly???, I said take it off my bill, and they continued to try and argue with me as I pleaded to please not argue with me????, I do not know how a place with this attitude and POOR FOOD and RUDE service stays in Buisness, I hope this post helps.

How people take pictures of their food here is beyond my comprehension, from the moment they set my plate down to moment it’s clean was a complete blur, the food is so delicious that I can’t bear to wait more than a eye blink to devour it! Most places here are pretty meh, but this place feels like it’s San Francisco downtown level of baking, food choices, and coffee baristas skills. Also, this place is never packed because it takes like 3 minutes for what seems like a Michelin star chef built meal. Highly recommend you do not pass up your chance to eat here….5 stars isn’t enough!!!

The most delicious eggs benedict I have ever tasted! I took it with salmon, it was incredibly tasty. I was also pleased with the delicious pastries. They also make freshly squeezed juice, and made it half and half orange and pineapple to my liking. For me, this is a big plus, since few places prepare fresh juice, and I don’t like juice from a package. We wanted to come back for breakfast before leaving. But the map showed that they were closed on Monday, which is a shame. Thanks for the hospitality!

Where to begin. First, if you're a picky eater or like a plain old breakfast, they'll accommodate. I asked for a smoothie that was not on the menu and they were glad to make it. Also, they'll gladly customize the Palm breakfast to your liking. My spouse is a foodie and was more open to the other dishes and they did not disappoint. Fresh bread, fresh baked pastries all organic. Also had a goose berry, which I've never had before. The atmosphere is quite relaxing and cozy.

Absolutely phenomenal!! The best pastries I’ve ever had (including my travels in Europe). The chef is a master and extremely nice. He actually comes out and serves the guests throughout breakfast. The breakfast plates are perfect. 10/10!!!!

The fruit smoothie (pinapple and mango) was amazing. I would go back just for that. The service was great and it is a super cute place. Not a whole lot of seating so it would not be good for a large party. I got the kokot and although the taste was great, I couldn't get over how runny the eggs were. The top of the dish was perfect but when I stirred it up which was the waitresses comment everything underneath was a soup. I can't stand eating egg whites that are not solid (it's very snot like to me). So, I ate the parts that were solid and picked around the under-cooked stuff. Like I said, it was absolutely well seasoned and the taste was great. I loved the sausage. I think this preparation is just not for me and my tastes. Looking at what others ordered, everything looked fantastic and to my liking. So, next time I go, I'll just make sure to get a Benedict or something similar. The pastery that was in the front cabinet looked amazing as well. Overall, a place that I'll be trying again (just ordering a bit differently)!

It’s definitely a small spot. Not the most comfortable for 1 they force you to sit at a tiny bar facing a wall. Good was good but portion did not match price. I’ll definitely be hungry again in 3 hours or so when usually I’m good for double that for the same price. Quality was good but wasn’t 10/10. Definitely different flavor of things. The coffee was pretty mid too. Idk for the price it was ok. I ate by myself for $30 and got a kokot and a hot latte…that’s crazy.
