I ate at Lorenzo's 20 years ago and have thought about it every day since moving away. Was finally in town and came to the same amazing service from Mary (owner), and her children, Nicole, and Tony. The homemade bread is still fluffy like a cloud that steam escapes when you tear off a piece. The cook, Tony, from 21 years is still back there making the same delicious meals my husband and I shared together on dates. The Creme brulee cheesecake and tiramisu were my kids favorites. The jumbo spinach ravioli was and is still my favorite and my husband's favorite was the pesto tortellini. From my family to yours thank you, Mary!💚

I would never just go here on my own, but it was birthday lunch for a co-worker. I had only been once before, found it overpriced and unimpressive. I ordered water and half an entree, with tip it was $20. The food was good, but still think $16 for half a pasta meal is too much. Service was acceptable, but with a medium party, she still forgot some things we asked for. Not a bad option if you want italian.

This is a friendly italian restraunt, locally owned. Since my first post they have come up with a solution to many of their other dishes so the soy intolerant folks have better menu options That said food is good, service is excellent (they work hard to figure out how to get around my allergies and know what's in their food) and prices are good. Recommend the creamy sausage soup.

The waitress was not great. She was very attentive to all other tables. I had a half salad and half sandwich. She brought the salad out and left the bowl there even after I was done and she brought out the sandwich. Had to ask for another drink. Had to ask for the check and then had to ask to get change. I won't be going here again, for a while.

I expected by the reviews the food would be better than a chain like Olive Garden. Unfortunately, it was barely on par. The speed out of the kitchen was a bit too fast and items were seasoned unevenly. Alfredo sauce seemed to have a preservative like after taste.

Not really authentic, but a step above Olive Garden. Raisins in meatballs is sacrilegious. Need a good meatball recipe, contact me. Hamburger meat, ground sausage, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, basil and parmesan cheese. No raisins in the meatballs! I tried their fettuccine alfredo, the taste was good, but missing something. The next time i ordered it, i asked for a couple of dollaps of ricotta cheese and that was the taste i was looking for. The bread is always on point. I have come to the conclusion that I just won't find good Italian food in these parts. I'll just have to continue to cook Italian at home.

Terrible "Sugo" sauce! It was too sweet. Raisins in the meatballs? That was disgustingly too sweet as well. The chicken parmigiana was decent, but the pasta it came with was a little under cooked and had the same "Sugo" sauce on it. The green chili sausage soup was good, and I've had better pizza. There was a lot of horseing around with the cooks, they can be heard in the dining area and the dishwasher kept going to our table to pick up used dishes, I felt like I was being rushed to leave. Our server was great. Ist time eating at Lorenzo's, and it will be the last.

Great Restraunt! Staff was very friendly. Now to my review. Appetizers were great! Had the garlic parm fries and mozzarella sticks, highly recommend to try. I alway get a lot the first time we eat at a restaurant we have not been at so I ordered the chicken parm half plate and a large cheese pizza. The chicken parm was a good 5 out of 10 due to it kind of tasted like the crust was not fresh made, all though the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. The pizza was unfortunately a 5.6 out of 10 mainly because I like my pizza crispy and the pizza has a lot of flop. My wife had the what is like manicotti but was named different and that was amazing, 7.5 out of 10. My son had the stuffed ravioli and he rated it a solid 7.2 out of 10. We had 3 deserts the Crème Brûlée cheesecake which was 10/10 best cheesecake I’ve had in a while, we also shared the tiramisu which was amazing as well an easy 8/10, and last the ice cream that had pistachios chocolate and strawberry was great 7/10 for sure. This restaurant has great homemade bread which I would recommend cooking their pizza with cause the pizza crust just wasn’t there for me in crisp or flavor. Overall the the food is good and I will have to try the fettuccine next time since most of the menu is fettuccine type pasta options. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful! If this Restraunt can beat LesCombs chicken parm and make a better pizza this restaurant will be packed for sure!

My family and I dined in this evening, we drove from El Paso because the food is worth it. It was my first time and I will most definitely be back. It really shows that it’s a family owned restaurant. The atmosphere feels so peaceful and comfortable. Tony was our server and he was so awesome and attentive, it is evident that he loves his job. The bread was AHMAZING! We ordered calamari and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve had. I have no idea how it tasted so fresh and cooked JUST RIGHT! I had the soup of the day which was tomato basil chicken and chef’s kiss for the freshness. The scallop and shrimp (JUMBO) had a nice little kick to it. We all enjoyed our meals and overall I am very pleased. Thanks for a great experience.

Wanted some good pasta for dinner last night, and found Lorenzo's. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The service was impeccable; attentive, prompt, and friendly. And the food was delicious. Calimari? Cooked perfectly. Main dishes? Great portions, flavorful, and filling. Read reviews ahead of time and everyone hypes up the bread, so I went in with huge expectations. I was not disappointed. My family had each downed two pieces each before the appetizers even got to the table. 10/10 experience and will be going here again.

This place was a HUGE disappointment. We ordered take out, and the food was so bad. My husband ordered chicken Parmesan, and I ordered fettuccine Alfredo. Both orders came with soup, we asked for the sausage and green Chile, what we got was closer country gravy. It was bland, and so thick. The sauce on my husbands plate was sooo sweet, like it was a sauce for a tv dinner entree. The sauce in my dish had no flavor whatsoever. It was creamy grease. The bread was good, but we were not able to finish either of our dishes. Considering we spent nearly $50 on this meal, I am very unhappy with what we got.

The only thing really good about this restaurant is the bread. It was GREAT! The food took a long time to come out. Main dishes are pretty mediocre, and it was luke warm like it had been sitting there for a while. Had the Rome dish. The red sauce has a lot of sugar in it. It's almost like a homemade chef boyardee sauce. I'm not a fan of the pesto sauce. The basil taste was overpowering. The Alfredo sauce was okay. Probably won't go again.

The food was good - the bread was soft yet crunchy. I tried the cheese ravioli in a green chile sauce; it was outstanding. I had been told to try the spumoni; wow! Sadly, I didn't take a picture of it. The service was not good. I arrived for lunch around 1:15; it was not crowded, nor would I say busy. The server seemed annoyed to seat me, then didn't return to take a drink order for a few minutes - at least 5. He was slow bringing bread out; he brought it with my salad that was spectacular. I ordered the spumoni to-go and it seemed he forgot about it. I paid my bill, then he said he still needed to get the spumoni, which took an additional 10 mins. Another table had tried to get his attention and he didn't see them, so I notified him when he was at my table; he shrugged and walked away - not to the table who had been signaling him. Perhaps he was having an off day, but he was the only dreary spot in the experience. The food was excellent!

The service is really great. But the food was not. If you are in the mood for authentic italian food dont go here. Everything is wayy overpriced for food that isnt worth the dime or the dollar. The food is very subpar to authentic italian cuisine. My friend had the naples dish and his Sugo(redsauce) tasted just like chef boyardee's, the noodles he got in white scause were supposed to be made with panchentta but they used huge chunks of black forrest ham in. While the food my look appetizing and appealing to some. For those who dont know and do know. This is not italian food. On another hand. The menu has everything way over priced and the wine list only has a handfull of wines available per glass, but doesnt have any wine descriptions so you dont know where the wine is made or what it taste like. As for the atmosphere the paintings/drawings on the wall have a more south american theme then authentic italian theme. But as i said before. Every server we had was extremely accomidating and it made up for some of the other problems we had.

I can't express how efficient, quick, kind and friendly the staff was. We got seated relatively quick. The team updated us frequently, they were honest and said they were full and had catering orders as well but that would get situated promptly. We got our drinks and bread super fast. What a wonderful dining experience at Lorenzo's. We are on a spring break roadtrip and chose this place. On entering at 5pm on a Thursday the place was pretty much full, but we were seated within 5 minutes. The menu is extensive and well thought out. Prices seemed very reasonable, but the magic was on the back page. There are for choices where you can order a trio of samples that may up a full meal. I had the spaghetti and tomato sauce, with chicken Alfredo and green chili lasagna. It was amazing. The bottomless homemade bread was to die for! What made this place extra special for us was our server Tony, who was also one of the owners. Where do you see this, an owner actually working the dining room.? He was warm, friendly and busting with personality. I believe his brothers are the the head chefs. To top it off was when his Mom, Mary, came out from the kitchen to say hello, bring us a portion of tiramisu, that was actually made in Sicily and flown over regularly! Don't leave without trying it! There's a lot of love, passion and tradition that goes into the food at Lorenzo's. These's a reason a restaurant has been around for 30 years. We will be back if we are ever in this area. I had the half a sausage sandwich and salad. The portions were nice sized and filling. The flavor was amazing. The sausage was seasoned just right and the salad had a nice mix of toppings. The service was very good. Drinks and orders were taken quickly. We had fresh bread to start our meal and our drinks were topped off regularly. I like the atmosphere with the murals and decor to bring out an Italian villa even though you are in the southwest desert. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something with an Italian flavor. I will definitely be back. On a second trip, I came back and had the meat and chile lasagna. I had really high hopes and expectations coming here. Everyone says it's so good and the reviews seemed promising. Don't know if we came on a bad day but the food was terrible. We had soup of the day which was salmon risotto and lacked some flavor and was just warm almost cold. For an app we got mozzarella sticks which were ok, nothing special about them. For entree I got salmon fettuccine and my husband ordered cheese tortellini WITH chicken. We waited 40 minutes to get our food and when a waitress finally came out she was spilling sauce all over herself. My plate was not amazing and it had a weird sweetness to it. The sauce was extremely watered down and therefore not the texture of "sauce". After waiting so long I only took 3 bites and couldn't handle anymore. It made me lose my appetite. My husband never got chicken on his plate like he ordered and his portion was tiny... I guess that was a good thing because his alfedo sauce was disgusting. Not also was it also very watery but it had a ton of nutmeg on top. And the alfredo was very overly sweet. It tasted like Agua de horchata in a weird way??? I tried it myself and that was the best way I could describe it. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the bread. And the staff is very friendly. We won't be coming back and I don't reccomend this place to anyone. We should have just gone to Olive Garden.

Lorenzo’s is a great locally owned Italian restaurant that I have thoroughly enjoyed eating at for many years. I do recommend it for their locally sourced green chile flavor with their Italian cuisine along with more traditional offerings also. BUT… If you don’t want to wait long (over 30minutes) and expect to have your call in order ready in a timely fashion (within 10 minutes of ETA they told when you placed the order) OR when you call at 3pm and ask if the food can be ready by 5 and it is now 5:37 and I’m STILL WAITING FOR MY PIZZA I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

We received a gift card, went mid-week for lunch. Host person gets zero stars, never acknowledged us until we (2 of us) were the last to be seated. We had been sitting there for about 15 minutes, she only asked if it was just the 2 of us. Never said welcome, how are you, sorry you had to wait, never smiled, nothing. Zero personality. But our wait person, Lauren, was great, personable. Appreciated her. Nothing special about the atmosphere. Food, well, the salad had died a couple days earlier, had black slimy old lettuce in it, brown old stems, etc. I was hungry, picked out what I could. We both ordered personal pizzas, pizza was pretty good. Big sausage chunks on mine, kept falling off, too big/heavy. My husband liked his garlic fries. He tried to order a beer, were sold out of the only one on the menu he liked. Food wasn't anything special, will use up gift card and probably won't go back. Host person is a customer's 1st and last impression, get a new host, put some investment into training for customer service.

Wonderful service by Lauren and very delicious food. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Carbonara with tomato basil soup, and I ordered the personal pizza with minestrone soup.. All four items were very delicious, and man may I recommend the Tiramisu for dessert. To die for. Apparently, they ordered it directly from Italy, which was creamy and delicious. Sorry we didn't post any photos, but we were hungry and ate everything very quickly. The owner, Vince, takes his time to introduce himself and follow up with customers. We will definitely return very soon! Thank you!

Hostess was great. She was super friendly and has some relatable conversation. Never knew this spot was there and inside its nice and clean but a little dark. Food was great but the best part was the bread.

Salad was soaked in dressing. Chicken piccata was bland. Waitress was very rushed. Didn't ask us how our food was. Lasagna was amazing as always.

My shrimp and scallops were cooked just right and the sauce for that dish is unique and delicious. My fellow diners had the chicken fettuccine and lasagna and they were both very pleased.

We were driving to Phoenix from Dallas and came across this amazing Italian restaurant on our way.I wish they were located in my city.I highly recommend this place. Everyone of us truly enjoyed every dish we ordered Food was 10/10. Recommended dishes: their house bread, tomato soup, eggplant with Penn, grilled chicken with fettuccini with pesto cream.

I had a really bad experience with this restaurant. When I came in to pick up a take-out order about a week ago, I informed Josh at the register that the last time we got take-out, we didn't get the bread with our order. All he said insincerely was 'sorry about that.' He didn't offer to give us free bread but rather, he had the audacity to charge us for it. Worse yet, the pizza had burnt pieces on top of the box which made a mess on the car seat, and the pizza was burnt all around the edges. I'm surprised that the pizza even made it out of the restaurant, it was that nasty! I called Adam who is the owner and he stated that he was going to refund my credit card for the meal. The credit never posted to my bank account and I have to dispute the transaction, as 2 reps in the fraud department confirmed that the credit was never processed (spent over 30 minutes on hold and talking with the reps). I sent Adam the proof from the online bank app, which clearly shows the charge, but Adam requested that I provide him with a statement showing the charge, which means I would need to go to the bank for the statement, and would have to bring it to the restaurant. After that, Adam asks me what more can he do to help me and I responded 'refund the card.' He then stated that he didn't have any time to talk about this any further, as he has a morning catering order, as if that's my issue! What a hassle! This restaurant botched up and now I have to pay the price. I've never had such a bad experience with any restaurant. Very unprofessional and disappointing and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
