Ordered the banoffee pie for Easter as well as some cookies and a cinnamon roll, everything was delicious. The Banoffee is one of the best pies I’ve ever had

My birthday cake was terrible. I don’t recommend at all!

I have never seen such a well made cake before! Lorraine is the most talented and care so much about her customers! She wants to know about her client to make the most beautiful custom cake. The cake she made was for my boyfriend who loves gold and she even put his golf club on the side with as many details as his yellow glove! Everyone loved it. It was the most delicious cake!! I have also heard that the space is so elegant as well! If you need a cake for everyone to remember, you need to go to Lorraine’s!

Best cakes and sweets around. They made our wedding cake and now I recommend them to everyone. I know I am hard to please so that says a lot. Check out the tea room for a yummy and relaxing experience

They did our wedding cake and cupcakes. THEY WERE SIMPLY AMAZING! We can not wait to find an excuse to order from they again. There cake was moist and full of flavor. We order gluten-free carrot cupcakes and nobody even knew. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed

We haven’t been able to try this place out but have heard great things! Visited twice when Google maps listed it was open but were disappointed to find it was closed when we arrived. Hopefully third times a charm!

I stopped in with 5 other fellow hikers... we were walking the Paulinskill Rail-Trail and stopped in for a treat. 1st time here and glad we did. Looking forward to the next visit. Oh... our treats.. were Delicious!!

Lorraine’s is a must try! I’ve ordered 2 custom cakes and they were both out of this world! The 2 tier cake was for my husbands 40th last year (German chocolate) and the crumb cake was for my father in laws birthday last weekend, a throw back to the blackout cake from Ebinger’s Bakery in Brooklyn. Lorraine’s customer service is great, they are always super helpful and made the entire process really easy. I emailed information about each cake and they exceeded my expectations both times. Flavors were on point and design was exactly what I requested/wanted. Their bakery cases have yummy treats too so be prepared when picking up your order, you may leave with a couple extra goodies. P.S. the decor is adorable and always so welcoming.

It looked adorable! Unfortunately, due to a staffing shortage they cannot open their tearoom and only had their delicious baked goods to go! If anyone needs a job, Thursday through Sunday please apply here!!

Every time I have been in the staff is always super friendly! So far I have purchased cinnamon buns, cupcakes and a cake from here and they were all amazing!

This is an amazing little tea room! I love it so much! Me and my family decided to go last Christmas for their Christmas breakfast and it was spectacular! I wish they could be normally open but I understand it is hard because of Covid. I can't wait to go back and introduce my best friend to this tea room!

I called to order a birthday cake for my husband who had a stroke his Birthday is not until January but I saw they were going to be closed for that month so I figured I order it today so I can pick it up on Wednesday they said they are closing for month January I said I know I want it for this week she said we are not taking anymore orders so when you post your closing why not just say that you aren't taking orders until February awful

This a great little bakery/ Tea Room. They have traditional tea settings. Reservations are required for that. The Bakery is grab and go. They have different scones all the time.

First time visit and we loved the experience. The chocolate peanut butter parfait was delicious! Lots of cute decorations outside with tables and chairs. The young lady who works there was friendly and very helpful. We’ll definitely be back soon.

We used Lorraine's Cake Shoppe for our wedding in October, and we could not have imagined a more perfect cake for our big day. We did a double chocolate, chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and it was to die for. The piece tier we were given for us to save in the freezer for our 1 year was eaten before the weekend was over. I am so impressed by how detailed and beautiful the flowers looked cascading down the side and the buttercream was so smooth and flat that I thought there was wizardry involved. Overall very pleased, will definitely be using them again in the future.

Lorraine's Cake Shoppe and Tea Room provided the cake for my wedding and it was perfect! We had a cake tasting in the tea room and we chose a chocolate cake with raspberry filling. When I saw the cake on my wedding day, it looked absolutely stunning! My guests loved the flavor of the cake and the design. The tea is very good flavor full, robust blends and the restaurant is set in years gone by- but it ends there. The food is over priced and no better then my kids school cafeterias food. There are so many little steps the owner/chef could do to bring an amazing experience to life in what could be a one of kind find- but like most places there be gone well before they make changes. I saw they were looking for a baker I hope they find one because that could change this great idea into a very successful business- or not! Your scones are basic flavored biscuits- so just call them Tea Biscuits which is what they are, the sandwich needs more flavor and homemade bread to set it apart- the special pastries are no better then from the freezer and I hope that’s what they are. A positive is you need Reservations this helps prep food and keep quality but... as I wrote it does not help! I see most people enjoyed it so this is my experience in food and what’s a great food experience should be like or what a Panera experience is like!

Ordered a birthday cake and it was outstanding. Beautifully decorated and was taller than most cakes. The butter cream is smooth as butter. Also had the cupcakes & crumb bun. Both were excellent & fresh. A bit pricey but well worth it once you taste it. You get what you pay for.

Went here for the first time for a holiday time breakfast! So wonderful! The food was amazing! The customer service was excellent! My 7 year old felt so fancy to be eating here and getting her own tea! They even showed her how to fold the napkin to look like a rose! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Took my parents here when they were in visiting and it was one of the best experiences they've ever had. They still can't stop raving about it! Not only was the food divine (and homemade!) but Lorraine herself came out to talk to us and one of her granddaughters, "Queen" Amelia, was a very helpful and gracious host. Definitely make a reservation, as they only have a few tables available inside. They were all booked the day we went, but we were so grateful that they were able to accommodate us by placing us on the front porch. We got to sit amongst the flowers and sunshine and enjoy our amazing tea! I love this place and will definitely be going back!

I was completely blow away by the Queen Amelia lunch spread. The amount of details in not only the food, but the ambiance, decor and landscape of this beautiful space created a truly special dining experience. Lorraine's cake shop did an amazing job designing and making the perfect cake for our wedding. We went with a strawberry champagne cake w/lemon curd filling that was absolutely unique and delicious! The design we wanted was fully customized by them and it came out beautiful! Highly Recommend them any of your events

I ordered a specialty cake for my husband‘s 60th birthday party. Lorraine was fabulous. Not only did she take the time to go over every little detail, she ensured that the cake was delivered in a timely fashion and was in perfect condition. This cake had a fishing theme (you can see it on her website.). All of my guests were blown away by this incredible cake and the fastidious attention to detail. As great as it looked, it tasted even better. For the quality, quantity and custom decoration, I found her price quite reasonable. My husband was so impressed by this cake, we decided to visit her tea room to thank her personally. Once again, her food did not disappoint. The atmosphere was charming and both my husband and I totally enjoyed afternoon tea. Her staff makes you feel welcome and the service was excellent. Whether ordering a cake or having lunch, Lorraine’s is a must do!

My 1st time here. The sons, daughters grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Daisy and Sylvester have been here numerous times-l A wonderful experience visiting this place with the Belcher family- my 11 aunt's and uncles were raised here and the stories where plentiful as we and 4 of the original kids sat and enjoyed the afternoon tea, excitement and laughter.

My husband, my granddaughter and I had High Tea there several weeks ago. My granddaughter chose not to drink tea. Service was extremely slow even though there were not that many people there. Portions were extremely small. Not what we were expecting from a “Tea House”. Bill came to $125.00. For what ?......please ladies, this place is very expensive. Sandwiches, scones and mini/mini (4) pastries were nothing to rave about.

Have gone here many times. This place is excellent!!! I am thankful I live 30 minutes away, or our house would have their baked goods more frequently. The tea room experience is awesome. Went with two others and we all thought it was great. Cant wait to come back again.

Lorraine’s and her team are attentive, detailed and always aim to please! I have called them multiple times on short notice with request for creative cake designs (watermelons, fall flowers, monogram flowers, etc) and their creativity and skills never fail to execute flawlessly and deliciously! Their tea room is also a wonderful experience and then food and service again flawless and delicious! We are so lucky to be so close to such a wonderful local establishment!

One of the best tea shops I've been to. I was here last year for my birthday and will be back again next month. The tea sandwiches were not just ordinary blah sandwiches, they were very unique and had quality and time put into them. The sweets were also divine! Can't wait to go back, the decor alone is reason to go back.

I do not normally write a negative review but felt i should. I was very disappointed in the cake i ordered for my daughter in laws baby shower. It looked very pretty but was absolutely tasteless, not worth the price i paid at all, ( over $250.00) I was told it was more expensive because it was from scratch, I expected it to taste amazing and it did not!! It also had to be cut paper thin to accommodate the 50 people attending. Not one person at the shower commented on the cake. I will not be back!

Nice Place, to visit with a bunch of friends for good desserts. They have quite a variety of cakes, macarons etc. I loved the ambiance and the walkway to this place. Although, a little pricey, but the quality of food is good. The experience is great!

Such a sweet place! It is evident that they put a lot of time and consideration into making tea time special. All the food was delicious! They were very accommodating for some of our restricted diets when we called ahead to let them know. The house is adorable. Beautiful place!

Food is very good. I especially liked the carrot and squash soup. I eat gluten free and Lorraine was very accommodating. Lovely decor. Highly recommend.

Chocolate cream pies to die for

Lorraine's has the most delicious baked goods around!! The OMG chocolate cake is my absolute favorite, it's just amazing!! All of her baked goods are not only delicious but beautiful as well! So much attention to detail. Packaging of purchases is also excellent, sturdy boxes or cupcake containers and pretty ribbons for nice presentation as a gift. The tea room is a wonderful experience as well, a great chance to relax, enjoy some lovely tea and a delicious lunch. Everything was so good...the soup, quiche, sandwiches, and treats for desert. Everything was super fresh and made with quality ingredients. Wait staff was super sweet and very accommodating. We can't wait to go again. Also, Lorraine made our wedding cake and baby shower cake. She was so great to work with made the most beautiful and delicious cakes. She really puts her heart and soul into them!!

Visited Lorraine’s Cake Shoppe and Tea Room today with my Mother and 5 yr old son and it was Phenomenal! We head to NYC every year to some of the fanciest (and priciest) Hotels for their High Tea service but after a disappointing experience last year, I decided to stay in NJ/more local. What a wonderful surprise Lorraine’s was! The quiche was probably the best I’ve ever had, the tea sandwiches were delicious and the desserts were fantastic (I purchased extra to take home). I also found the service to be great and all the staff was very friendly and welcoming to my young son. I wasn’t sure if he was too young but he did great and he LOVED it. The quality of the food is excellent and the tea delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

Terrible customer service, had a party booked no one called to confirm or gonover details and then they booked for the wrong time when they specifically told me they close at 3 and needed to reserve at 1230 for a 2 hour party and then told me to come at 130! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I went there to view the dining area and there was title to no staff to assist me! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Absolutely amazing. Not only is it hard to find a proper tea service this far from the city, but Lorraine's is also as good as any I have been apart of anywhere in the world! My wife and I have gone 3 times and have always left very happy... And very full!

I recently discovered Lorraine’s Cake Shoppe and I started off by getting a custom cake made and the result blew me away the cake was so unique and well designed... the best part of all it tasted delicious as well. Since we were so thrilled with the cake we decided to do afternoon tea there today and we were so impressed that we were already planning our next visit during our tea. The food was delicious and the service was great. Many courses and paced out properly. It was a really nice relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Thank you to Lorraine’s Cake Shoppe and all of its employees. It is very apparent that you all love working together and try your hardest to make the experience special.

I took my mom & girl there... BEST egg's / keish I've ever had!!! The tea's where good, the tea time sandwiches where light and delicious. I was stuffed by the time we left. You can tell, everything was home cooked and made with love. Everything was top notch Quality! Awesome & knowledgeable service as well. I highly recommend

Food is top shelf and the staff is very accommodating for people's specialized food needs. Staff takes great care in making sure the service is pristine. The staff goes above and beyond. I absolutely LOVE this place! I have been here for a full tea with my girl friends and it was perfect! Everything on the menu was amazing- from the tea itself, to the fresh scones, soup, sandwiches and, best of all, desserts! I highly, highly recommend going here for tea, or just stopping by the bakery! The decor is adorable, the staff are friendly and the food is out of this world fresh and you can tell it’s baked daily, quality ingredients and with love!

Terrible service and very expensive for what you get.

This a very lovely place. Friendly service. We stopped by on our way to PA for pastries and coffee. My husband had the Blondie and I had a Scone...both delicious! We will definitely return for lunch. They have 2 seatings at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Looking forward to a lovely experience
