This pizza is great! Never had a crust quite like it. My family will be passing by a lot of other pizza restaurant options each week as we make our way back to Brooklyn Pizza Authority. Check. It. Out!!

Here’s the deal. I’m originally from New Jersey and sometimes living in Virginia it’s hard to gauge the quality of the food in general here because it seems like taste is very different when I come across reviews. But this pizza is a step up from dominos, not horrible by any means but (if your used to actual Brooklyn style pizza) don’t expect that from this restaurant. We got a margarita pizza, it was kinda disappointing but you really can’t go wrong for the price.

Cass was wonderful. We have been ordering from them for years. I am originally from New York and was thrilled to find an authentic pizza, quality ingredients friendly service

SO GOOD! I’m a huge fan of Jo Jo’s but tried this place and it’s even better!!!!! So far, I’ve done cheese, pepperoni, Cheesy Oasis, President of the Borough and Flatbush. YUMMMM

My husband ordered an Italian sub. It had no oil and vinegar. We asked for a side of mayo. No mayo with order. I ordered a BKPA calzone. The calzone had no mozzarella cheese on it. This is the third time we have had a problem with orders from them. Three strikes, and you are out. I'm not ordering from them again. I wanted to change my review. After posting the bad review the owner of Brooklyn Pizza called me to find out what the problem was with our order. I explaned.what happened and he was upset that it had happened to us. He sent us another order out a couple of days later and made good by it. It was very good and we appreciate that he reached out to us. Will be ordering from them again.

We recently got married and love pizza so reached out to Brooklyn Pizza Authority to cater our rehearsal dinner. Qais worked with us to figure out how many pizzas we would need based on our headcount, helped select a great mix of different styles, and even personally promised to have a hand in making our pizzas to ensure everything was perfect for our big day. We could not have been happier! Almost every guest came up to us asking where we got the pizza and commenting on how delicious it was. To say weddings are stressful is an understatement but with the help of Qais and the Brooklyn Pizza Authority team, this was one thing we did not have to worry about. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for great quality pizza around Richmond. Thank you all so much!!

Jersey girl went in search of a good pie. This place didn’t disappoint. I got a cheese slice which was put right in the oven. The crust had the perfect crisp and the slice was easily foldable. They had the shakers of crushed red pepper and Parmesan. He asked if I wanted a sprinkle of garlic powder which for me is a must. I now have a new spot for pizza

One taste of their pizza took me back to Brooklyn. Best pizza I have had in the Richmond area for a long time. Perfect hand-tossed crust and delicious sauce. Don't pass this place up!

The chicken bacon cheddar ranch calzone was a culinary home run, while the chicken cheesesteak played it safe on second base. The true curveball, though, was the sandwich's presentation—a veritable Jackson Pollock in a hoagie roll. It was such a hot mess, I didn't even clock that they subbed in chicken for the steak I ordered until the whole thing started to disintegrate. I'm willing to step up to the plate again, though. Next time, I'll either skip the cheez whiz or actually verify what's buried beneath that cheesy, topping-laden mound!

I’m from ENY, Brooklyn & THISSS?!? Is pizza straight from BK. If you’re homesick and have been looking for some pizza that reminds you of home this is the spot. Even if you’re not from NY, this is some fire pizza & the owner is very welcoming and respectful. 10/10

As a NYC native, born and raised it goes without saying that I love a good "NY slice" and Brooklyn pizza authority did NOT disappoint. From the first bite I instantly felt like i just bought a slice off the ave. 10 out of 10 and I recommend.

It is a quiet spot, but I have no idea why. Great pizza, huge slices, and a great variety of drinks (soft drinks) in bottles

Great little pizza/salad place.

I called to order a calzone and the guy that answered the phone was so rude. All I wanted was a calzone. Pepperoni, ham and ricotta, right? He first asked me if I knew the place I was calling. Yes. I know I haven't ordered from you before. Then he questioned my order like five times and then he said he wouldnt put the order in unless I gave him my credit number over the phone. Policy he said. I hung up. I don't need to be treated poorly when trying a new place. They really need to do better.

This is a great little pizza place if you are looking for a more personal touch. The staff is very friendly and the pizza is great with huge portions for a very affordable price. I have been all over the country and this has become one of my favorites!

We got the meatball parm pizza and it tasted spot on. Was very good. Could have used more meatball but that was my only complaint. Garlic knots tasted of garlic, so amazing! They could have used another 1 or 2 min in the oven as the center was very slighlty under cooked. Definitly good food and was more a classic fresh pizza. Not greasy at all.

The pizza is fantastic New York style but don’t miss out on the sandwiches. Cant go wrong with the Italian grinder or the steak and cheese

Pies are out of this world and service was great even on Christmas Eve. Definitely a spot to check out in the Midlothian area if you're looking for some pies.

Omg!!!! A Hidden Gem in the city. Best pizza I ever tasted. Found them on Google and came here for the FIRST time...My boyfriend and I had "create your own pizza"...never in my life had pizza taste this delicious. It was so fresh, hot and ready. Also I want to mention the customer service..it was so awesome 😎...We are definitely coming back again.

The pizza was great! Lots of different choices, 9 choose to order by the slice. The crust was perfectly crispy and the pizza itself not too heavy. 1 slice is definitely enough for one person, but if you want to try more than one flavor you'll definitely have leftovers. I will definitely be back!

I gotta say - this place hits the spot. Great slices, friendly owners, just nails it. We went after a morning of errands and we and our toddler were all happy campers. Chicken bacon ranch is 💯.

Highly recommend going here. They welcomed our party of 20+ in with open arms at the last minute after another Italian restaurant told us last minute that they couldn't accommodate our group. The crew sung Happy Birthday to my son and cut the cake. We definitely enjoyed Brooklyn Pizza Authority. Awesome Restaurant.

This is the best pizza I have had in this area in a long time.You can get pizza buy the huge slice as well as whole pies. By the slice comes out nice and crispy.

Very small for a team event, but they were very accommodating. The calzones were great and the Jamaican Patty was nice and flaky, but not very spicy. It was a great team dinner (youth baseball) made better by the staff interactions!

I really hate to do this but enough is enough!! I’ve been supporting this business for four years now and I hate that it has fallen off! We spent so much money here (Family of 10) and never complained. We mostly use their online service now and use the delivery method. Obviously we pay a little more with the delivery fee but no problem. I’m so upset because my last 4 pizza orders have been horrible. I just ordered today and this will be my last time. The taste and the look is unbelievable. Like how did we get here??!!?? There was smudge of cheese lol and it was burnt, the crust was so thick!! It’s giving Little Caesars VIBES!!! Now I have to find a new pizza parlor!!

I would drive 45 minutes for this pizza one way but not anymore. I wouldn't say it's the quality as much as the weight. Less is not more when it comes to pizza. If I pay 30 bucks all in it better be thick and filling, and it used to be. The owner is a great guy but bring back the weight, bring back the heavy. Giovanni in MVille is the only place I've seen that never made their pizza less than it was. Always a heavy pie because of generous cheese and toppings. Breaks my heart I won't make that drive anymore but bulk up the pies and I'll be back. Great place, great owner. 👍

We showed up with 20+ people (a lot for the small space). The staff and owner were EXTREMELY accommodating and the pizza is the best I’ve had SINCE visiting NYC. One slice of pizza is very big so keep that in mind going in there. Highly recommend and will eat there again when I’m in the area.

The only reason I didn’t give Brooklyn Pizza Authority five stars is because I believe there is always room for improvement. However, this place had some of the best pizza I have had down here in Virginia. I was born and raised in Massachusetts, where there is a high concentration of Italians. If one thing has disappointed me since moving to Virginia, it’s the cheap, generic pizza you get even from small local pizzerias. Brooklyn Pizza Authority is different. I can’t comment on how authentic it is as I have never been to Brooklyn, but the pizza tasted the same as the pizza I had in New Jersey and that I grew up eating back home. From what I understand, New York, New Jersey, and Boston pizza is similar, so I am going to assume that if this pizza weren’t authentic, it was pretty close. The crust was the perfect thickness and consistency, crispy on the bottom but still squishy in the middle. To quote Dave Portnoy, zero flop! The cheese had the perfect flavor, neither being too salty or not salty enough. The pizza came out of the oven piping hot and a day later I am still feeling the burn on the roof of my mouth, but that’s what I get for not letting it cool down. The slices were huge, and the prices were reasonable. I spent only a little over thirty dollars, including the tip, for a 18” pizza and four drinks. The guy working the oven, who I’m assuming was the owner, is from New York City, and he was incredibly friendly to both my son and I. The inside was a little small for my liking, but was clean and generally comfortable. In my experience, as far as decent New York style pizza in or around Richmond goes, you only have two choices: Brooklyn Pizza Authority and Benny’s. I will definitely be coming back.

I drove 20 minutes for this pizza and I’m glad I did. Being from Brooklyn I felt right at home. As a New Yorker I have high expectations,especially when it come to pizza . To my surprise the owner even came outside and talked to us while we ate our slices . Overall Great spot, I’ll definitely be back. 🍕 😋

I’m a native New Yorker, and I have been dying to find a place that has pizza that reminds me home. The honey mustard chicken bacon pizza is sooooo good. The wings?? Chefs kiss!!! I had to go back in for more, my husband and I ate ours in the car (those taco wings)!!! Definitely recommend

Excellent all around. Food was good and staff was more than accommodating. There were 5 in our party and we were trying to figure out our seating due to the setup of the building and the staff stepped in and helped us make it happen. Great experience from start to finish and the food was worth it.
