Best tacos on AMi. Don’t be fooled by it being in a little strip mall. Get the chips and guacamole. Burria. Cauliflower tacos… It’s all amazing.

The California burrito is legendary. We love this place, been fans for many many years and every time we go it gets even better. The service is great and they make sure to check in on how the food is & care about their customers. We have been fans since they moved from Pittsburgh and all they have done since moving to AMI is become even more amazing!!!!!! Best food ever & reasonably priced :D

I absolutely love this place. Delicious, fast, friendly. I’ll brave the beach traffic any day to get their California burrito. Do yourself a favor if you’re just visiting and try it. If you’re a local and haven’t yet, you’re missing out.

I couldn’t get any pictures because I was too hungry but this was one of the best burritos I have ever had, I got a steak burrito with birria consume on the side to dip it, absolutely spectacular, the steak was very tender and toppings were fresh and perfectly seasoned, my buddy got the birria tacos and loved them as well, our whole table was so pleased and the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was also very nice and cleanly with so many great menu options. Prices were fair and by no means overpriced. 5 STARS!

Fast service, plenty of options from the menu, super service, very friendly... as for the portions.. It is absolutely massive and very flavoursome.. no complaints, defo recommended.

STOP SEARCHING GO HERE! My family and I stopped in after a day at the beach and we were so glad we did. This authentic Mexican food is some of, if not THE, best we’ve had in Florida. We’re Mexican and from Chicago, sorry, but we know good food. Everything was full of flavor, the portions were great, the steak tender and burrito stuffed. We spoke with the owner’s son and had a great conversation about their origins and our shared experiences having both moved to the sunshine state about 2 years ago. As I was researching places to eat while we stayed on Anna Maria Island, there was a You Tuber who said this was the best Mexican food he had ever had. I was skeptical of course, but after having dinner there on the first night of our stay I must completely agree. Hands down the most authentic food I have had. Food was absolutely delicious! So flavorful! The Margaritas were good too. I highly recommend it.

Taco salad with chicken. Generous with chicken however no flavor, no spice and very little lettuce. Whole Pinto beans were a surprise- why pinto beans out of a can? Will not return or recommend. I am a small business owner on Anna Maria Island. Hate to give you this review.

ONLY draw back to this place is that is more of a takeout place than an eat in with its limited seating. Food was incredible! Best fish taco I’ve had since California. No one really mentioned this place in the many reviews I read for eateries on the island but were way better than anywhere else that most recommended (Ugly Grouper, Bridge Tender 👎👎). The Chips and queso, Rosarito burrito and Mexican egg rolls were also incredible. Highly highly highly recommend this place!!!! Incredibly fast service as well.

Discovered this place while vacationing in the area. Loved the food. Went multiple times and on one occasion bought a box of soft shell tacos to go. Food is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Service was good too!

I'm from South Texas, but I've loved on AMI longer than anywhere, and finding this yummy Mexican food place here has made the past 2 years much better. I live next door to Wicked Cantina, but they're still just average, and overpriced. Try the Mexican egg rolls and shrimp tacos! YUMM!

We were in the mood for good Mexican food and this place did not disappoint! Homemade chips, creamy queso, delicious tacos and enchiladas, and Coke in the bottle! It is a small place in a strip mall. Do NOT let that fool you! The food is amazing, as is the service! They do have some tables, but takeout is the way we went! I wish we could give them 10 stars as good Mexican food is hard to find (we are locals).

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Los Chiludos Fresh Mexican Grill on Anna Maria Island, Florida, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget. The efficient service was amazing, making us feel right at home and well taken care of throughout our visit. We started our meal with the Chicken Quesadilla, which was absolutely delectable. The quesadilla was tasty, fresh, and delicious, served with a side of shredded lettuce, sour cream, and pico de gallo. The presentation was outstanding, with the dish arriving on a cute rectangular silver platter that added a touch of elegance to the casual dining experience. But the highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the chips and mango salsa. The freshly fried corn tortilla chips were the best we’ve ever had, perfectly crispy and golden. The mango salsa was a tantalizing blend of fresh ingredients, spiced with chipotle to give it a delightful kick. The flavors were off the charts, making it an unforgettable appetizer that we couldn’t get enough of. For drinks, my Bryan enjoyed a refreshing Jarrito, while I sipped on a cozy and trendy Calypso lemonade. Both beverages were the perfect complement to our meal, enhancing the overall dining experience. The outdoor seating was a lovely option, allowing us to enjoy the pleasant weather and soak in the island's relaxed atmosphere. Being just minutes from the beach, supermarket, and stores made it a convenient spot to grab a bite before or after exploring the area. A special mention must go to Tera, the owner, who made our visit even more enjoyable. She kept checking on us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and struck up a nice conversation with us. Her good energy and genuine care for her customers were evident, making us feel valued and appreciated. We truly are looking forward to our next visit to Los Chiludos Fresh Mexican Grill. It has quickly become our favorite Mexican restaurant, and we can't wait to enjoy more of their delicious food. Writing this review has me craving their incredible dishes all over again. Whenever my family and I are anywhere near Anna Maria Island / Holmes Beach area Los Chiludos is our go to spot. The food quaility is consistently great. Portion sizes are super generous and every staff member is personable, sincere and helpful. Awesome experience every time!!!

Hands down, the BEST fresh Mexican Grill that we have had. We are super sad that we discovered it at the end of vacation. It will be our first stop on our next vacation! (Also recommend the Carnitas Enchiladas but they weren’t listed below!)

I’ve heard great things about this place and they were all true! Daily specials on the menu including Huevos rancheros on Saturdays. Closed Sunday. I opted for the steak quesadilla, tender, perfectly seasoned steak with fresh pico! Highly recommended!

The best and fresh Mexican on AMI. We sat outside on patio and enjoyed the food and slushy cocktail. Queso, chips, and burrito were fantastic. We can’t wait to go back and try the tacos.

Every once in a while you come across a place that is truly a gem. Vacationing at Holmes Beach for two weeks from the UK we did just that. Clean attractive signage on the outside and quirky, simple decor on the inside. The place feels so relaxing and laid back and the food is amazing. Four of us chose different items from a good selection on the menu. I chose the chicken burrito and I cannot recommend it enough. Plenty enough for two people. As we sat and enjoyed our food there was a constant stream of diners coming in. Take away service was very popular and everybody was served with a smile and great attitude from the staff. I guess one part of a vacation is to try different food and drinks but this place really tempts you back. I don't think it needs a review if the people stepping through the door are anything to go by but if one more review can temp another diner to experience this food, we'll that's a good thing because nobody should miss this amazing place.

We had dinner here and really liked it. We had chips and guac. The guac was fresh and well made. The bag of chips is large and we had a lot extra to take home with us. I had the fish and shrimp tacos, both of which were substantial and tasty, and my wife had the birria tacos, which were also very good. Our child had the chicken quesadilla which she enjoyed. Overall all of our food was good, the service was fast, and I’d happily eat here again.

Honestly, I was astounded how good the food my wife and I had at this storefront Mexican Cantina was. It was worth the visit alone to see this mural, which is fabulous. This coming from a professional illustrator for over 25 years

Absolutely fabulous! We went for Cinco de Mayo lunch and were totally impressed. The tacos were big and reasonably priced and tasted great. Service was great and the guac and chips came already packed to go with a huge bag of chips that lasted us the entire week. Will definitely return when in area

I’ve been to their PGH restaurant and was so excited to visit this new location!!! Oh how a I’ve missed their food! I would never expect less than amazing but did experience it to be even better than expected! The food as always was excellent. You can truly taste the passion they have for their food! INCREDIBLE! The staff is so welcoming and you can tell they proudly wear their LC name. The new salty air location near the beach is certainly an added touch to their already amazing vibe. How fortunate for all those who can frequent them! CBG misses you! Enjoy! I can’t wait to go back!

No flavor on taco meet. Portions are big but no flavor. It was a problem to get paper plates. We were not asked how our meals were. No napkins no spoons. In response to owner, I left a bad review because the food had no flavor, and you were more focus on other clients than us. However, I gave 2 starts because I thought portions are good. Now, don’t come to tell me I felt the need. You don’t tell me what to write, I am a customer and I am entitled to write what I experienced. You only showed how much you cared about your customers.

Prices were fair and food portions were large. There is minimal indoor seating at f the weather isn’t pleasant so may be a better to go option. Dine in is metal trays and aluminum foil

The chips you can buy are homemade and very very good 👍🏼 Fresh Guac 🤘🏼Fun places to sit outside and inside. Recommend going on the earlier side for dinner, it gets busy. Don’t let the shopping center look to the place scare you away. It’s great! We will be back.

Great food but closes too early. Also they never tell you online if they are closed for a holiday or “emergency” as it will say in their voicemail. Best to call ahead to see if they are even open.

Super friendly owner and staff! The food is absolutely excellent, we wish we would have found this hidden gem on our first night on the Island! This place was phenomenal! Speaking as a Southern California local who has had some pretty good Mexican eats in my life, the Burria tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had. The establishment is a father-son run place with a great energy. Me and my friends devoured the queso like wild animals because it was so dang good. The frozen margs are equally good and so cheap. Can not recommend this place enough. A must see if you are in the area.

As locals we eat here regularly. It’s my absolute favorite lunch spot. Whether we take it to-go or eat-in, the service is always the best! Drinks are great and they even serve their homemade agua fresca sometimes. All food is prepared right there fresh daily. This is a fanily-owned business and multiple family members work there. This little place fits right in with the AMI feel! ❤️

I ordered food , they over charged me and got it wrong & now I paid 26 $ for a one person meal I don’t want to eat because they made it wrong. THANKS. (It be nice if they tried to make it right )

Consistent quality unbelievable flavors I think is what set them apart from anybody else. Upset that you left but happy you guys are living your dream! I had 2 different burritos here while I was in town on vacation. Both were daily specials (written above the cashier, so you need to look up). Great taste, made to order and fresh ingredients. I sat outside on both occasions. There are some indoor seats too but outside is better if there's a table. They'll give you an order number display for your table and they'll bring the food out to you! Fast, friendly service!

We stopped here for a quick bite for supper. They had a couple of daily specials which we ordered as well as a cocktail and beer. Service was quick and friendly, and we both enjoyed our food. We sat at the few outside tables and tucked into our cornbread special and tacos. It seems to be more of a take out place so we overlooked the plastic flatware. It was our first visit but we’ll happily go back again.

Great tacos, burritos and encilladas. Margarita--so-so. Concern about lack of attention to green issues. Plastic everywhere and no recycling even of glass bottles. Strip mall atmosphere brightened up with creative decorating and very nice hosts. Recommended.

Such amazing food fresh all made in house prices are what you expect from all homemade food which is fine. Burritos are massive and delicious haven’t had anything I don’t like from here. Not sure what Megan the customer who reviewed this place 3 months ago was talking about lol must be very sheltered. Pretty good Mexican food by the beach

Went for dinner tonight and the food was amazing. I had a carnita taco and an al pastor taco. It is enough to make 4 tacos. My husband had the California Burrito and was only able to eat half of it. He loved every bite and can't wait to eat the rest for lunch tomorrow. My friend was here from Connecticut and got two of the shrimp tacos and enjoyed them as well. We also ordered a bag of chips with the queso and guacamole. I was so impressed with the amount you are given and the incredible flavor in all of it! I am looking forward to going back and eating some of the same and trying even more items!!!

I lived in Tucson for 36 years. The Mexican food there is top notch. Since we moved to Bradenton, we haven't found any decent place. This is Cali style. It's definitely good and worth checking out. The chips were really good, and the Chipotle salsa. Carne asada taco was flavorful. The cheesy birria taco is very good! My wife had a wet burrito. Also our son had a carne asada burrito. Everything was great! Well Def be back to try more food!

Really enjoyed the food and the owners are friendly and enjoy talking about their journey from California, to Pennsylvania, to AMI. Me, my wife and her sister went for a late lunch. We had the queso for a starter. The homemade chips are the best I've ever had. Sis n law had the chicken taquitos, I had the birria tacos and the cauliflower tacos, and my wife had a burrito bowl. Everything was hot, fresh and flavorful. Not plain old Tex-Mex. Nice variety of soft drinks to go with the food, including one of my favorite sodas, Jarritos. There's beer, margaritas and canned sangria as well. The mango salsa looked really good, so I took some to go. Glad I did. Not overy sweet, perfect combo of mango, onion, romas and cilantro. We'll definitely be back.
