The cheeseplate is legendary, salads are amazing, sides and specials are awesome, desserts are phenomenal (KEY LIME PIE, cheesecake, etc) please bring back the soft serve, it was the best vegan ice cream in town!! I was coming here for years before I even realized it was gluten-free.

Great lunch spot with the best vibe. Bright and colorful, relaxed atmosphere. The Love burger and the tempeh reuben were the highlight of our trip! I compared every meal to this for the remainder of our stay. Also, loved the blue portrait on the wall near the restrooms. We will be back. ❤️❤️❤️

The absolute best vegan cafe in the area!! Everything is amazing and always very flavorful . My favorite is the awesome burger , the sautéed mushrooms on top with the awesome sauce.. fire combination. And you have to get the Kale Cesar salad !!

This place is very excellent!! I had the love burger that was plant based with potato salad and banana bread for dessert. It was very good and nutritious, you can definitely tell this food is naturally delicious. Wonderful service, we got our food really fast. Nice selection of seating outside and inside. Will be back soon, amazing place for vegans!!

The best Mac and cheese. Soooo creamy and cheezy

The staff were lovely and my complaint is more toward the owning body (or system of price-setters). I'm not too sure what's going on here, but the food cost way too much. $22 for an entrée and drink. The watermelon cucumber lemonade was $6 dollars alone (I hadn't seen any of the prices before I ordered). Queer-friendly and all vegen, but when the price is this high, I question the initiative of the company against the needs of the community. We need to eat. I saved half of my sandwich for dinner because of the cost of this meal and I'm frustrated with shops who contend an allyship while pricing like the bourgeois. The food and lemonade were delicious, however, the sunflower seeds in the salad tasted a bit dated. I love this idea, but we need to work better on community here.

Love that everything is vegan and gluten free, so it's easy to choose from the menu. The food was fresh and tasty, I would just say that the portions were small for the price.

Yummy place with a cozy hippie vibe. Not a fan of nut crust, so I hope they can offer alternatives to their pies but the GF banana bread was delicious!

This is a great lunch spot. I love the soup and house salad. The red lentil Dahl is next level and so is the broccoli cheese soup. My favorite sandwich is the love burger. It doesn't really feel like a burger but the crispy bread, sauerkraut, and Tomato is really good together. The patti is good too, I just did not get burger vibes. I would choose the love burger over the Ruben with tempeh. The side salad is delicious. I also love that I can get yerba mates in a can here.

HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, RUDE SERVICE!!!!! NEVER EVER EATING HERE AGAIN!!! There are so many better places to eat around this area, do yourself a favor and don’t give service to these people. They are constantly messing up 99% of the time. They always have attitude and their food is incredibly sub par. Truly a disgrace to this area and vegan food. They clearly hate their customers and don’t value your business. Every time you call they act like they’re doing YOU a favor and then when they forget your order after you drive an hour they pretend you never called just because it inconvenienced them. What a disgrace. If I could give negative stars I would!!

Amazing food, super nice staff.

I love this place and have been eating here for several years. Came back for lunch today after being away a few months but the food quality has changed for the worse. I ordered the Awesome Burger (which I've had many times before) and it was crumbly, nearly flavorless, no avocado, and very little sauce. Also got the potato salad as a side - which tasted good except there were literally two entire potato halves not cut up in the small portion on my plate - so it wasn't really potato salad as much as giant chunks of potato with a little flavoring mixed in. Also order the nut mylk shake (one of their featured drinks) and was told they were sold out even though it was only 12:30pm on a Thursday and the place was only open for a half hour with 6 people sitting around (counting both inside and outside). The cashier didn't even bother to recommend something as a substitute. What's happened? Is there new ownership or new management? I used to recommend the food to friends, now I don't want to go back again. $17 (including the tip) for a below average tasting sandwich with below average service is not worth it.

I love Love Food Central Cafe. It has the most delicious vegan food and the service was fast and friendly. I'm looking forward to returning again and again to try every menu item.

It's a crying shame that one of their best items (the best soft-serve ice cream ever) was discontinued. Sadly will miss this place..

Soo happy my husband found this lil’ gem when we moved to Bradenton. Wonderful and inviting staff and they’re OMG sandwich is crazy yummy…Definitely get their Mac n’cheeze as a side! My husband let me have a bite of his avocado bagel and Mmmmmm. 🥰

Amazing customer service and great menu. I got the original burger and mac n cheese. All super yummy! It took a while to get the food, but we also got the choco pie, and the wait time simply didn't matter after having the divine dessert. Highly recommend!

Awesome location on central street to have a right-on lunch in an easy style and manner. So good to be able to order anything off the menu without having to opt for the GF meals as the WHOLE menu is GF AND vegan. My daughter ate her first full meal since we landed in St Pete’s a week ago — smashed avo on bagel with a good spray of soy sauce generously offered from the kitchen :-) I had the Awesome Burger — although it looked more like an M&S toasted sandwich — the taste lived up to its name. Portion size could be a tad bigger. The moon pie and key lime pie were demolished in seconds flat. Very real and relaxed service. Easy to chat to staff and other diners. A super friendly place. Ace for people watching too.

First time eating here, was craving a salad so I thought this place looked yummy. I am not vegan but do have celiac so I find it extremely satisfying when I can find a place that’s dedicated gluten free. The summer salad was AMAZING, the half salad was a pretty big portion. I also got the mac and cheese. I get skeptical with vegan cheese but this was actually so delicious. Creamy, nutty, and tasted like cheese (to me at least). Oh and don’t even get me started on the carrot cake 🤤. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

Not impressed. Went with family during holidays in St Pete. Food was definitely subpar (had a “veggie wrap” which consisted of some half cooked carrots with soggy spinach and a mushroom baked lazily within a dry tortilla), our order took over 30 minutes from placing to service, and the space was old, cramped and visually unappealing. Was expecting far more for a restaurant that boasts itself as one of the best vegan spots in town. This place isn’t even average. Def a disappointing and lame experience and the food was a complete let down. Hard pass.

First time ever for me eating vegan I had there version of a ruben was very good so fresh and amazing was quiet very buisy they offered out door seating aswell will definitely be going back to hopefully try the Buffalo cauliflower there potato salad was the best potato salad I ever had

This place is one of my favorite casual restaurants in Tampa Bay, and one of my all-time favorite vegan restaurants. It sets the bar for vegan food when we travel. Everything here is really tasty, and they have the best selection of vegan, gluten free desserts in Tampa Bay. I don’t know what they’re doing that’s so extra special here, but I never get an icky or heavy feeling from eating their sweets like I do from some other vegan gluten free desserts. They generally have really interesting specials Thursday - Sunday, and often have a brunch option too. Their kitchen is creative. I especially love their house-made vegan cheeses, dressings, burgers and mac & cheese, but really everything here is good. The people who work here in front and in back are always caring and friendly. What can I say, I love Love Food.

That was interesting. The veggie wrap(not wrapped but cut in half and warmed like a panini) with pesto was delicious, didn't really want any of the sides though. The "sandwhich" that was supposed to be a burger, I guess, was pretty gross. I think it's made with beets but not sure (someone I was with ordered it). The potato salad was actually mashed potatoes with a few potato chunks, seasoning, celery, and something else. It wasn't bad, just not what either of us expected. They had a list of things on the dessert menu but it changes daily so what we were hoping for wasn't available, bummer. The banana bread was exactly the same as other gf ones I've tried: super goopy, making you think it isn't cooked when it probably is. It wasn't a bad experience but not my favorite either. I will come back to try one or two other things on the menu that looked good. I'm not allergic to gluten so if you are then definitely check this place out.

I will not return. I found the food to be expensive. Poorly prepared and having given a tip I received no service other than to bring me the food I ordered. The side of potato salad was very small and at room temperature which was warm. We were required to bus our own table. The table itself was not thoroughly clean and service was truly not there.. We also found the restroom facilities in need of repair with the sign saying hold the handle down to the count of two to flush the toilet. Needless to say, will not return.

The food tasted terrific! However, I had the roasted veggie wrap and when it arrived, it looked more like a veggie cracker. It was so thin! Not sure why they skimp on portion sizes when the prices are fairly high to begin with. Adding some more veggies can’t increase the cost by much. Customers should leave feeling full, not still hungry.

This place is cute I guess but don’t order a salad. I paid $17 for this thinking it would be a big, full salad and this is what I got. I’m confused what I paid $17 for…..the apples on top? Or the chopped up granola bar in it? I understand why some vegan places are pricey because of the ingredients they use but this doesn’t make any sense to me. Disappointed.

Absolutely a great vegan place to try. They are open for limited hours but the food is top notch quality. If you are looking for a sandwich then this is the place to go. The portions are good for a person but add a side dish if you are really hungry. The drinks are good to and they have decent dessert to try

$17 salad?!? I love Love Food Central! Everything that I've had over several years has been delicious! However, the $17 salad I had recently was tasty, but not worth that high of a price. Mostly lettuce, chickpeas, and a few grape tomatoes which doesn't equal to $17. The Large is a regular amount of food, not a huge 2 portion salad, so no leftovers, which you would expect for that price. I recently had a full grouper sandwich with a lot of fries at a nearby place and it was less costly than this $17 salad. I think restaurants are price gouging.

Amazing dishes and Mocktail Menu.

This is a very cute little place with delicious vegan sandwiches. Everybody was super nice, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere very chill. Loved it!

It was my first time visiting, and I was not disappointed. They have the most delicious vegan food I've had in a while. The caramelita dessert was amazing (not pictured because it was devoured in second). I compare it to a magic bar in the non vegan world. I'm definitely coming back to try more items!

I’m so in LOVE with this kale salad and today they had the avocado BLT which was amazing with some potato salad. It was a deliciously flavored tempeh. I love to sub my croutons with some cukes for some extra shrubbage. Thank you!

Delicious food, cute atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating available. They were super sweet too, they gave me a free whoopie pie when they found out in was my birthday. Best one I ever had and I would defiantly come back and pay for another. Great place!

Tempeh sandwiches are kind of dry and bland and the baked goods are just so so. Kind of expensive for what it is.

Absolutely delicious! We had vegan elote and flan, (which were special items of the menu today) along with spicy lemonade.

I cannot say enough about how delicious this all vegan kitchen is. The veggies are super fresh. The vibe is so chill and the staff are super friendly with street side picnic table seating. If you buy a t shirt, you get 10% off your orders in the future if you are wearing it. The Kale Caesar is my absolute fave with a creamy cashew base, the leafys are ever so slightly sweetened to offset the kale bitters. Whatever soup they have for the day, get it. They are all phenom-nom-nomenal. They have a bakery portion that changes regularly. I like to frequent the beet cupcakes. They are super moist with hints if beet flavor that is really delightful. The Carmelita's are overwhelmingly delicious. The cheesecake is a perfect balance of sweet and fresh fruits. Thanks for sharing so much love! Favorite restaurant because I can eat everything on the menu! A real hidden gem in St Pete for healthy delicious food. Love every item I have tried on the menu. Try to score some chocolate chip cookies. They are delish. Other favorites. The bagel! Kale chips! Moon pies are out of This world!

One of my very favorite places in all of St. Pete. I'm always looking for vegan food that is healthy and delicious. Junk food is nice and all, but I really want to eat something that is good for my body. Love Food Central is just perfect for that. Their 361 Sunshine salad is my favorite. So fresh and tasty, and just makes me feel good. Their baked goods are great, and everything I have tried I just love it. Cute, fun place that I like to take my friends who are visiting from out of town.

My Tempeh Ruben was good, but should have had more sauerkraut. The sauce was very good with just a little kick to it.

I LOVE Love Food Central. The Love Burger is my go-to item here, and I can never resist their dessert case. When there's a vegan, gluten-free moon pie on the menu, I jump straight on it. They have a beautiful mural and hand painted menu by local artist Jujmo. The 365 Salad with apples and added tempeh is another one of my favorite dishes. This is a great spot to post up with a good book. I really appreciate having a spot like this in town. Other favorites include the roasted veggie wrap, and the key lime pie. They also have vegan soft serve which is very clutch considering we live in an endless summer here in the Sunshine State.

We were not impressed with the food, unfortunately there's so many vegan options around the area and as a comparison to price / taste it was sub par. That being said for someone looking for alternative burgers the Beet (or whatever it was) was different and unique to try. The 17 / 18$ burger didn't really seem to have a flavor that wow'd me. The Mac N Cheese had too much lime in it and distracted the whole dish. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything near the other places I've tried vegan food at.

Omg, the moon pie! You have to try the moon pie! Even in you're not vegan or gluten free, a great place to grab a bite! My boyfriend (who's not vegan) is in love with this place.

Popular vegan cafe in the historic District that offers very good food and service. It was very crowded when we were there and getting a table was competitive, even though they have tables inside and out.

Do not go here if you have any allergies. I ordered a cheese plate with macadamia they said nothing I got had cashews. They were very sure. I had a couple bites and started having an allergic reaction. They did nothing after I told them.

Great 100% vegan restaurant. Lots of yummy items on the menu. Clean, fast service, and fair prices. I eat here a lot and have never been disappointed. I usually dine inside & get a "to go" meal for the next day.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for vegan food. The Awesome Burger, and Love Burger are my favorites, as well as the Avocado Bagel and Nut Mylk Shake. The restaurant is located on a beautiful area of Central, and the staff are always so nice. I always leave feeling better about eating healthy. Thank you for being such a wonderful spot!

Love this place so much! My fiancé is vegan and I love being able to grab him healthy, yummy vegan options - including yummy burgers, limeades, and sweet treats. I only wish this places was open later some days (4pm closing is too early!)

Fresh squeezed lemonade and cold brew are delicious. Absolutely love that ice cubes in cold brew are made of coffee!

Best vegan sandwiches in town, hands down! Had amazing service there this week and every single time I visit - super friendly staff, amazing food, always attentive and caring towards all their customers no matter how busy they are and how successful they are too. I feel bad leaving 3 stars because I want to support small businesses and especially like that it's vegan and the vibe and employees we came across were great. But the food, was mixed. I got the cauliflower soup which was spot on but the Bahn mi didn't taste like a Bahn mi at all. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. My husband got the Ruben which was fine and his potatoe salad was out of this world. And the things my kids ordered wer hit and miss. Maybe we didn't order the right things? The place was busy so it's obviously a popular place. I just expected more I guess. Especially for the price

Another vegan restaurant that I love to go when I go to Saint Pete the food is delicious the place is beautiful they got delicious dessert drinks all you could eat and there’s salads are amazing sandwich everything is amazing.

Got the roasted Cauliflower soup (soup of the day) and a strawberry lemonade. Both DELISH. My friends got sandwiches and enjoyed them too. We came specifically because my vegetarian friend was in town. But I would come back even without her.

Good vegan and gluten free food. Hours are random which makes getting a meal there difficult at times.
