This place falls into my top 3 pieces of fried chicken EVER. My buddies ordered a couple of sandwiches and I got a chicken plate with a few of the different sides. The collards were just the way that I like them, sweet, tangy and a little heat on the back end. The slaw was tangy and crunchy and the cup of corn I had was off the chain. They had my plate in my hand in less than 3 minutes, I was stunned. Fried chicken won’t be the same after trying Love Bird. I was just in town from North Carolina but this is the type of chicken spot I would love to see in my area. This one is a must try yall.

Wow super delicious 😋😋😋. The chicken is super good, Mac and cheese increible and also the fries 🍟. My wife and I when the first time today and we love the place. Clean quick service and good price for everything we recommend this LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken place to everybody. 🥇

I’d be lying to you if I didn’t say that, this is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The experience in the restaurant isn’t the best only because of the cramped indoor space and very little parking. But you will not be disappointed in their food, and not only that, but they were reasonably priced.

Really fun place with delicious food options. Highly recommend it for inside or outside seating.

I ordered an assortment of tenders, legs and breasts from the catering menu along with the mac and cheese and jalapeno corn. I placed the order via email and the Lovebird team got everything correct. The food was delicious and on time. We will definitely be ordering from Lovebird Chicken again.

Was riding past and me and my mom wanted to try something new and local. The building stood out to us so we went to go try. Staff was friendly and has fast service. Good music choice also. Fries were a little over seasoned but overall food was great. 10/10

OMG! You need to go here.today. It was insane! I went with friends to an unknown restaurant and didn’t want to leave there. The chicken was perfection. The Gouda Mac n cheese- AMAZING and the jalapeño corn was the best! Servers were super sweet and they continuously checked on us. Look cute form the outside but the food on the inside is FANTASTIC

This is my go-to spot for lunch in central Lakeland! I can't recommend them enough to my friends and family. Everything they serve is phenomenal. However, the chicken sandwich is where it's at for me! The fries are served to order and always hot! It's a SMALL restaurant with limited parking. Can be a challenge to find a spot!

To quote my wife, "everything is sooo FN good!" We had the tenders, collard greens, gouda mac, and banana pudding. The team was extremely friendly and helpful. This place never disappoints!

1st time today! Absolutely fabulous. Not a single thing to complain about- did order an on tap IPA i didnt care for but thats my personal tastes and not their falt. Shared a double dark meat, mac&cheese with dirty fries with my daughter and Boyfriend. They split the order of the chicken to regular and mild so i go to tey both flavors. Tried 1 on tap IPA and 2 canned drinks. Very clean very friendly- staff gave my child some of the company buttons and pins and she loved them so much. So much love this is a new favorite place for me.

Everything was just perfect from the staff to the food Omgeee the food !! The chicken fried to perfection & the sides were so delicious. My husband and son got the Gouda Mac& cheese & fries to go with their chicken tenders. I also had tenders with baked beans, collard greens it was amazing just so flavorful!! Definitely going back !!

Absolutely love the variety here. It's not just the same chicken you get a fast food place, the menu is absolutely bangin. One of the best places to eat in Lakeland. I will say my only gripe is that the music inside is really loud but they have plenty of out door seating so I'm always good.

I live about an hour away so it takes a bit of planning to come this way; that said, they always hit the mark. I’ve always come for the tenders or the dirty fries but today I tried something different. After getting word that they were getting rid of their blueberry cobbler, I knew I had to try and make it over this weekend. I made it and let me tell you, that stuff was 🔥 Huge shout out to John for going above and beyond so my two hour round trip expedition wasn't for naught.

One of the “almost famous” gems in Lakeland! The food is always amazing and outshines most fried chicken places even the most well known chain restaurants. The service should also be recognized as “almost famous” as well. From the speed, attentiveness, and cleanliness of the entire staff you can really see they take pride at their job and that the employer actively plays a positive part in the community of Lakeland. The atmosphere there is great as well, inspired by some of the best music of our time they have merch where the chickens take over famous personas in music; Prince, the Beatles, and David Bowie to name a few. As well as a few nods other figures in their beautiful art taken over by chickens. You also can’t go wrong with their seasonal menu items as well as classic staples. I always get the “My Girl Ain’t Hungry” meal which consists of one of their XL chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. I recommend it with their Bird Sauce. My husband will always have something positive to say about their sandwiches and gets very excited to see any new seasonal sandwiches posted on their socials which usually means we’re scheduling in our next visit to Love Birds Almost Famous Chicken very soon.

Was thinking of coming here with my husband for a long time and we finally decided to come! We ordered the G.O.A.T chicken sandwich, fries, and the gouda mac and cheese. We both agreed to rate our meals a 9.5/10. That gouda mac and cheese was INSANE!!! So cheesy with so much flavor. The best mac and cheese my husband and I have ever eaten so far. Very great place, delicious chicken. The sandwich was huge!!! The fries had paprika and salt, but they had so much flavor. The inside looks so nice with hot pink on different details, funny paintings, and cool merch! In case there's a long line, you can grab one of the small menus they have on the wall or scan the barcode to see it online if you're not sure about what to order. We will definitely go back, specially for more of that gouda mac and cheese. You should all try it!! 🍟🥤

Great portions and value, not sure how I like how crowded and small it is there. I burnt my tongue on the baked beans even after blowing on them and still had to spit them out due to how scalding they were. Everything though tastes very good just be careful of the temperature on some items.

Our first time here, when they say crispy, it is awesomely crispy! Seasoned perfectly, hot and juicy, between the 4 of us we all got different sides. They were ALL great. Portions were perfect! Nothing we ordered was less than awesome!!! Will definitely return for more!!! Great job folks!!

If you’re in Lakeland, LoveBird is a must. The food is always hot and fresh. The So Gouda Mac is the best Mac and cheese i have ever had. Dirty fries are top tier and the dill ranch is amazing. Prices are fair and staff is friendly and helpful. 10/10!

Slap yo momma good! I finally understand why this place is always packed. We tried the hot chicken donuts, the citrus grilled tenders with the dirty fries, Gouda Mac, jalapeño corn and the blueberry cobbler for dessert. The way my tongue reached back and slapped the sheet out of my brain! The chicken had some good heat! The bird sauce might as well be crack, it was so good. I could put that on everything. And the cobbler was amazing. We’re officially addicted! We dug into our food so quickly we forgot to take pics. But trust me it’s worth checking out!

Feast your eyes on the 3 Tender Plate with Pimento Gouda Mac N Cheese and Dirty Fries. Tenders - Fried. Medium spice. They use dry rubs here. Not much heat, but good smoky flavor. If I had to guess, I would say each tender weighs at least 4 oz! Pimento Gouda Mac - The flavors of the pimento cheese blend very well with the Gouda cheese, creating a very pleasantly smooth and creamy texture. I know pimento cheese isn’t for everyone and I am not a big fan of it myself, yet I could hardly tell it was there. Dirty Fries - Freshly cut fries, Bacon, Scallions, Dill Ranch, and Cheese Sauce. What more could you possibly ask for? Fries were perfectly seasoned and toppings were generously portioned . A+ Overall: Leave the calorie counter at home and don’t hesitate to spend 15 minutes looking for a parking space. You won’t be able to find fresher food in Polk county!

Music is a little loud, might bother Grandma but she is gonna love the chicken.

Very lackluster in flavor. They recommended the bird sauce if I liked garlic, so I chose it, but it tastes like plain mayo. The tenders had greasy breading and the cucumber salad was drowning in sauce. I'm not in the area often, so I'm unsure if/when I'd be back. I'd definitely give it another go.

Best fried chicken in the Lakeland area. You can choose mild, medium or spicy. They have chicken strips as well as chicken pieces and half chickens. Great! Selection, mostly cans, but they always have a few good draft beers on tap. And some great artwork on the walls as well.

This place is great chicken and donuts was great. Recommend anything that has tenders the actual thighs were not flavorful. Tenders on the other hand were great. Sides were meh nothing really special. This place is way better than Chik fil a. Small space inside, hipster vibes for sure. Good prices.

Best fried chicken anywhere! Really cool vibes. Love the Rockstar chickens. If you use the restrooms you'll hear chickens clucking. Hilarious! I have so many favorites from their menu. The bird and the bee sandwich, their salads and of course their enormous delicious tenders. I love the corn side. I don't live in Lakeland so my favorite thing to do is pick up dinner at lovebird for my husband and I on our way home. Then we take it to our favorite local bar and enjoy all the jealous looks. 😉

I ordered the dirty bird, baked beans, white meat chicken dinner(collard greens and fries) the food was really good. The only problem was the fries were over seasoned. They were really salty for my daughter and I liking. But the customer service was really nice. The guy was really patient with seeing it was my first time. I found this spot off of TikTok and said while in town we need to check it out. We took are food to go and when I got home our food was still so hot which you know that their food is served hot and fresh. The chicken is really tender. We will be back when we visit Lakeland again.

Blows Chick Filet out of the water! Driving up to this restaurant causes you to have high expectations for your dining experience… the food and atmosphere WONT DISAPPOINT! The chicken strips are the biggest you have ever seen. Have them baked, breaded, turn the heat as high as you want or simply put them in a sandwich that will blow your mind!!! The word sides don’t do these offerings justice, we tried mac & cheese, jalapeño bacon corn and dirty fries! Depending on your taste, you can’t go wrong with any of them. We chose to sit outside under the covered patio area and enjoyed all that Florida has to offer. Please do yourself a favor and get one of their lemonade or sweet tea slushes to wash down their incredible chicken options.

This was a very yummy lunch! We ate here around 2:00 and it was packed but ordered and it took about 5 minutes for the food to come. We got the chiken plate with tenders, collard greens, and jalapeño corn. We also got the loaded bird fries and Nashville chicken sandwich birds and bee’s sand which. The prices were really good it only cost about 12$ a person. Overall very nice restaurant in Lakeland.

This place does not miss! Expected it to be a daves hot clone but it was so much better. The beer selection is mind blowing with over 30 different options. Food is amazing.

I loves to eat at LoveBird, the salads are always delicious. The mc n cheese are a must each time I go. The Goat and dirty fries are also my favorites.

Do not recommend 👏at all 👏. Parking is atrocious, waiting in line is a nightmare. Tables were dirty, floors were dirty. Ice bucket was sitting on top of the garbage waiting to be poured in the machine. If you was a relaxing, good, attentive meal, go elsewhere. Don't waste your time pandering to a bad experience for a 8$ piece of chicken

Food was excellent!!! We had the Nashville sandwich, the Birds and the Bees sandwich, and the grilled tenders with Mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything had exceptional flavor. Be careful with the Why spice, though. It is extremely spicy. We will definitely be back to try more!!!

I’ve been going to this place consistently for the past few months. HOLY SMOKES, this is some of the best fried chicken I have ever had!!!!!!! Their chicken sandwiches are TO DIE FOR!!!!! I’d give this place a 6 if it were an option.

Got the Nashville, and it was a delicious, filling sandwich for a great price ($7.95). The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside. The slaw was refreshing, and the bun was soft and buttery. My only complaints were that some parts were a bit too salty, and “hot” wasn’t as spicy as it should have been, but overall, I recommend this place. There’s also plenty of seating, both inside and outside, and parking is not an issue because they have their own lot.

What is the hype. The chicken sandwich is so tasteless! Chick fil an and Culver’s chicken sandwich is so much better!

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Love Bird! There hasn’t been one time that we have went (and we’ve been many times) and had a bad experience. The staff and service is great. The food is even better and worth the wait. We enjoy the quirky atmosphere, music and art. The only downfall is there isn’t a location on the North side. That might be a good thing though because we would probably eat there everyday. 😊

So I seen this place on instagram and had an urge to go ever since. Finally was able to get there this past Thursday and let’s just say I was definitely not disappointed. This was probably the best chicken sandwich I think I have ever had. It was thick and juicy piece of chicken, the hot honey was a perfect combo. The fries were immaculate. It was packed but the line went relatively quickly and the man at the counter was helpful. The interior was really cool with all the chicken art and neon signs. Part of their name is “Almost Famous”, and honestly I do not see that being true for every long. I will spread the word of this place. Can’t wait to take my daughter next time!! I’m thinking getting the Bama Chick next for me.

I am from out if town and like local restaurants. Love bird is a great local restaurant. The chicken is juicy, season well, fried but not heavy. Very good food. Friendly staff. I had my order 5 mins after I ordered it.

It’s the best chicken I’ve ever had. Staff and owner/manager are extremely friendly. They have the best honey mustard dip. I had the fried chicken breast, I was shocked when she brought it out. For $15.99 there were two huge chicken breast, wings attached, two slices of bread, corn and coleslaw. My friend had the chicken sandwich $8.45 and a side of baked beans $2.45, it looked so good. Heather brought us a sample of the collard greens and the banana pudding. Next visit I will be ordering both they were sooo good. Now I know why every time I drive by the Parking lot is full.

Everything about this spot is banging from the art to the food! Most drop in for a great time if you have a big appetite. Definitely can share your meal and the prices are spot on for any budget!! Love the jammin 80s music. We've been a few times and everything It's always good. Sunny to go order today and she came over and checked on us when we sat down It was very helpful and helped us get utensils. Manager was really nice too. He was very informative and chat with us for a few minutes.

Great experience, I went with a friend, we went on a Sunday and there was a line. We waited for less than 5 minutes after ordering and immediately got our food. I ordered 2PC chicken tenders which come with 2 sides. I ordered the Mac n cheese and fries. Also ordered a banana pudding which is a must, it was pretty good. The meal was pretty filling. I would say in my opinion the fries were a little over seasoned and I didn't like the oil taste on my chicken( they dip it in oil when you order the heat on it) which I'll probably just order it without heat next time. It was packed, so I would recommend having your food to go if you don't like crowding. The staff was nice and friendly. Overall awesome experience!
